Why are you so worried about me?

Because...

Because you mean a lot to me.

Tao Zi.

Can you close your eyes for a moment?

I've got a surprise for you.

Come on.

Close your eyes.

No looking, okay?

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday to you.

I followed your recipe to make this cake.

I did it all by myself.

Thank you.

Thank you for spending both my birthdays with me this year.

Not just for this year.

Make a wish.

Happy birthday.

You seem very happy today.

How do you know?

Because you keep smiling.

- I do? - Yeah.

Really?

Because of Xiao Lu?

Miao Miao.

I'm very happy when I'm with him.

I also feel a lot more secure.

So...

you really like Xiao Lu, huh?

Xiao Lu's given me a lot of surprises.

I know he cares a lot about me and wants to make me happy.

Also, I've never met anyone who cares so much about me.

Since the picnic's canceled

why don't we go take a walk?

No, I'm not in the mood for it.

I'd hate to upset you as well.

Miao Miao.

I'm so sorry about today.

You wanted to celebrate my birthday yet I've disappointed you.

Why don't we organize another outing some time?

Okay.

Let's go to bed.

We'll have to start working on Samsung's project soon.

Goodnight.

Goodnight.

Uncle Fu!

What?

Do you think I get scared as easily as you do?

I'm well-trained, sit down.

Here's your breakfast.

I thought you went fishing.

Vacations are so boring.

It's more fun putting on a show with you.

- You seem to be in a good mood. - Not bad at all.

So how was your date with the snowflakes and merry-go-round?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Master.

There's something I should remind you about.

Go on.

Miss Tao is both strong and competent.

She's also a very considerate person.

So she's certainly a lovely girl.

But Xiao Lu's someone who doesn't exist.

So I think you should make her fall in love with her nemesis, Lu Tian Xing

and not just Xiao Lu.

I'll go get you some fruit.

If Miss Tao finds out that Xiao Lu

was created by Lu Tian Xing after she falls in love with him

I'm sure she'll be very angry and disappointed.

[Lu Tian Xing, CEO of Tian Ji Advertising]

Which one of me do you see?

Which one of me do you love?

I want to be your one and only guardian.

I'm going to make you fall in love with both of me.

This is for you, Tao Zi.

- What is it? - Open it.

Why are you giving me vitamin supplements?

To boost your immunity.

Since you looked after me for a whole day yesterday

I was worried you might get sick.

So this should keep you healthy.

Thank you.

You should take these vitamins and not just put them aside.

Here.

I want to make sure you take them.

Thank you.

You should make her fall in love with her nemesis, Lu Tian Xing

and not just Xiao Lu.

Love is in OZ's air!

Don't you think so, Miao Miao and Leo?

We'll need to present our script to Samsung in a few days.

Can you go through the rundown with everyone, Leo?

Okay.

Please familiarize yourselves with the product first.

Then we'll start making the props for the presentation.

Here you go, Boss.

So the script that we'll see...

Why did you give me so many pens?

I thought you'd need them for this.

Weirdo.

Leo, let's start rehearsing after our meeting.

Okay, so can I go on now?

- Sure! - Please.

Okay, we'll have to make the props...

Here you go.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to eat.

Just then, you said a copywriter must be honest.

That's right.

When you're a copywriter, you can't lie to yourself.

You must believe in the value of the product.

That's why Leo Burnett said

this is a good product and not just a good ad.

Get it?

I haven't heard that before and didn't know I had to think about it like that.

That's okay, take your time.

I'm sure you'll also become a great copywriter one day.

It's got shallots.

- Thank you. - You're welcome.

You must be very tired. Eat more, okay?

It's okay, I'm on a diet.

Diet?

- You don't need to go on a diet. - I do.

- Eat up. - You silly girl.

Eat your capsicum.

Or I'll make sure you eat it.

Here.

Remember to have a balanced and regular diet, okay?

Leo.

What's the matter?

I like you.

I'm so full.

- Then let's do some exercises. - I'll teach you one.

I think we better just walk normally.

- Xiao Lu... - Tao Zi...

- You go first... - Go on...

- What did you want to say? - What did you want to say?

I was going to say...

Then why don't I go first?

I was going to say...

So what did you want to say?

How should I tell you

that I'm Lu Tian Xing?

Let's go home.

Let's go.

[Tao Ran Chinese Clinic]

Miao Miao, let's go!

Let's go.

Miao Miao, what's wrong?

Did something happen?

Nothing.

Then why are you crying?

Can you please tell me what happened?

I told Leo yesterday that I like him.

I like you.

Why are you suddenly telling me this?

Because I really like you.

You should have noticed, right?

Miao Miao.

Since it's really busy in the office now...

I just want to focus on my job

and start making money for OZ.

Let's talk about this later, okay?

Aren't you going to give me an answer?

Leo.

Why haven't you had any girlfriends?

Why are you suddenly coming up with all these ridiculous questions?

I don't have time... I...

I have to go home now

because I think my storyboard's not perfect enough

so I have to go home and improve it.

Why don't you go home as well?

Don't be so upset.

Leo didn't exactly reject you, right?

He didn't give me an answer.

I take that as a rejection.

Perhaps it's not the right time now.

What made you want to suddenly tell Leo that you like him?

Actually...

when I was walking Mi Bao the other night

I saw you and Xiao Lu walking hand in hand.

I'm sorry that I didn't tell you straight away.

But since I saw you two holding hands

it means you two are together, right?

So I thought...

that it would also work for me and Leo.

That's why I went and told him that I like him.

Alright, stop crying now, okay?

I think Leo's just a bit shocked.

You're a fine girl, I'm sure he'll be touched by you.

You're lying.

I mean it.

Have confidence in yourself.

Okay?

Really?

Yes.

- It's your phone. - It's okay, don't worry about it.

Go and see who it is.

Maybe it's Xiao Lu.

- [Arrogant Creep - Lu Tian Xing] - See you at the same place in 30 minutes.

Do you know him well?

What does he mean by the same place?

She didn't reply to my message.

Is she going to show?

Maybe she won't?

She did get the message, right?

[Tao Le Si]

Hello, you're calling to tell me that you're running late, right?

Hello?

Hello?

Say something.

Lu Tian Xing.

I've got a lot of work to do.

Also, I'm not obliged to fulfill your unreasonable requests.

- Goodbye! - Hey...

Hello?

[Tian Ji Advertising]

- Helen, Ting Wei, please come in. - Sure.

- COO. - COO.

I've decided to officially invite Leo to join Tian Ji Advertising.

But I thought he already rejected you several times before.

COO, he already said no when you went to OZ's office the other day.

I don't think that'd be possible.

Don't you get it?

We've already lost 20 to 30 percent of our clients to OZ.

I can't just sit and watch that happen.

Then should we notify CEO?

It's concerning his department's staff after all.

Do you think that's necessary?

For someone who doesn't give a damn about Tian Ji's operation at all

do you think he'd care about that?

Helen.

I think I know what COO means.

All OZ has now is Leo.

We must do whatever it takes to make him one of our own

so that our clients come back to us.

That's right.

Okay, I'll get to it right now.

Yes, COO.

Master, please have some tea.

Are you thinking about Miss Tao?

So the person that she likes now is...

Xiao Lu.

The cheerful, friendly, and thoughtful guy

that you and I have created.

Xiao Lu.

I can't believe Tao Le Si actually stood Lu Tian Xing up.

This has never happened before.

Uncle Fu.

Did you know that when I asked her out this morning

she sternly said no.

I...

So you're really upset right now?

Upset?

Come on!

I'm Lu Tian Xing, why would I...

I just don't know what I should do.

[Lance]

There's still work to do.

Hello?

Tian Xing, do you have time to come into the office tomorrow?

Why?

I'd like us to officially invite Leo to join Tian Ji Advertising

as the CEO and COO of Tian Ji.

Lance.

I don't think that'd be possible.

Don't worry, it'll be different this time.

I'll give him the best offer there is and the strongest reason

and let him know that by staying at a tiny company like OZ

it would only limit his career achievements.

Remember to come tomorrow.

Bye.

Alright.

The assistant of Tian Ji's COO just called and asked me to go to their office tomorrow.

But I thought you already rejected them.

He said they'd like to officially discuss their offer and benefits with me.

Tao Zi, come with me tomorrow.

Me?

Why?

I want to give Tian Ji a stern rejection

in the presence of OZ's boss.

Leo.

You're such a cool dude!

Is that okay, Tao Zi?

- Can you come with me tomorrow? - Okay, count me in.

CEO, here's your coffee.

Please have some snacks.

I asked Helen to get them especially for this meeting.

Thank you.

I guess Ting Wei already told you the reason I asked you...

Lance.

Mr. Lu.

I guess you must be wondering why I've brought OZ's boss to this meeting

when you only invited me to come.

Essentially, I want to let you know

that OZ is the only company I'll work for.

Now and forever.

Other than that...

I won't consider any other company's offer.

So I don't get a chance at all?

That's right.

Pity.

What a great pity!

Leo, I sincerely want to work with you.

Miss Tao.

I really didn't expect you to come to this meeting

so please accept my sincere apology.

Sorry for trying to headhunt Leo in front of you.

I really admire his talent.

But since he has such a sense of belonging at OZ

if I keep on insisting

then you might get offended.

Miss Tao, I must say that you're certainly a great boss.

Because your staff is so loyal and passionate about your company.

It's something that I've failed to do.

I appreciate and admire your leadership.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Since we're all here today

let me put it this way.

Perhaps there are different ways in which our companies can work together in the future.

Hopefully Miss Tao won't treat me as her enemy then.

I've never treated you as my enemy.

I think you're the one who kept treating OZ as your enemy.

It's what you've got to do in a fierce competition.

I really meant it when I said I hope to work with OZ.

In what ways are you planning to work with them?

OZ may be a small company but they're certainly very creative.

Since Tian Ji has a lot of clients

perhaps we can outsource the production to OZ

as well as work together in other ways.

I think we better go now.

Please wait a moment.

I'd like to talk to Miss Tao in private for a moment.

What's there to talk about?

In regards to working together as proposed by Lance just then

I'm very interested in that.

Okay.

Leo, I'll be back in the office real soon.

- Your coffee. - Thank you.

CEO.

So how's it going to work?

I asked you how it's going to work.

I haven't thought about it yet.

So it's just an excuse for you to keep making fun of me and OZ, right?

Not at all.

Since you wouldn't see me

it's the only way for me to make you stay.

What are you trying to say?

Yesterday was the first time you dared to reject seeing me.

That's because I don't want to have anything to do with you.

Why?

Perhaps I've been over-analyzing

and you don't really mean what I think you mean.

But I must tell you

that there's someone that I like.

That's because I don't want to have anything to do with you.

Why?

Perhaps I've been over-analyzing

and you don't really mean what I think you mean.

But I must tell you

that there's someone that I like.

Who?

Xiao Lu.

I like Xiao Lu.

That's because I don't want to have anything to do with you.

Xiao Lu.

I like Xiao Lu.

Xiao Lu's someone who doesn't exist.

So I think you should make her fall in love with her nemesis, Lu Tian Xing.

Brother Tian Xing!

Let go of me.

But I miss you so much!

Stop fooling around.

I'm really tired today.

I know you might not want me to annoy you

but I can also be a quiet girl

and stay by your side without making a sound.

Huan Huan.

It's okay for you to stay cheerful.

You don't have to change yourself for me.

Really?

Brother Tian Xing, you're so sweet.

I have to go now.

Why are you following me?

I said I can stay by your side without...

I really don't want to see anyone today!

Please go, okay?

Okay, then I'll leave you alone.

Just think of me when you have time.

Here.

Call your Brother Tian Xing and ask him out for dinner.

No.

Aren't you upset because he's ignoring you?

Just call him.

Brother Tian Xing was in a really bad mood this afternoon.

I thought he's on vacation.

Why would he be in such a bad mood?

If he really cares about me

then at least he'd have coffee with me.

But he just wanted me to leave him alone.

It's okay.

Why do you like him so much anyway?

I've liked him and nobody else since I was young.

Then how about this?

Why don't we get Mom to call him?

He'd never say no to Mom.

Let's get Mom to talk to him.

Forget it.

Even if Brother Tian Xing listens to Mom and asks me out

he still wouldn't truly like me.

It's okay.

Lu Tian Xing.

I've got a lot of work to do.

Also, I'm not obliged to fulfill your unreasonable requests.

Xiao Lu.

I like Xiao Lu.

Who is it?

Xiao Lu, it's Tao Zi.

Wait a minute.

Hi.

Can we have a chat?

Of course.

I bought cake and coffee.

Sure.

I had to wait in line for this cake.

It's a new flavor and goes really well with this coffee.

When you and Leo came back from Tian Ji

you seemed a bit awkward.

I did?

A little.

You seemed like your heart was empty.

Was it because of Lu Tian Xing?

Not exactly.

I just told him a secret by accident today.

Xiao Lu.

I like Xiao Lu.

I hate him so much

and yet I just told him my secret.

Maybe you already see him as a friend deep down.

I don't know either.

Maybe.

But even if that's the case, he's just a friend.

Can I ask you something?

Has Lu Tian Xing ever done anything to try and damage OZ?

No, he hasn't.

But he did try to buy off the remaining 70 percent of OZ's shares.

Based on my observation

his ads actually give me a feeling of honesty.

There's also a sense of true youthfulness.

He may not be as arrogant and superficial as we think he is, right?

Why are you suddenly sticking up for him?

I just thought maybe there was a misunderstanding between you two.

No, there isn't.

- No? - No.

He loves making fun of me.

Xiao Lu, can we not talk about him?

Okay.

Aren't you curious about the secret that I told him?

You want to tell me?

I told him...

Aren't you curious about the secret that I told him?

You want to tell me?

I told him...

Tao Le Si, are you sure you want to tell him you like him?

I told him that I'm going to ask you out for dinner tomorrow night.

This is the secret that you told him?

Not exactly.

Since I think we'll be so busy once the script for Samsung's ad is done

we might not even have time to sleep.

So I'd like to treat you to a nice dinner now

to thank you for being there for me

as well as telling you what the secret is.

Okay.

Let's eat the cake over there.

You can grab the coffee.

Why are you so worried about me?

Because...

you're a nice person.

Because...

you're really nice to me.

Because...

Because you mean a lot to me.

How am I supposed to make Tao Zi fall in love with Lu Tian Xing

just like she did with Xiao Lu?

Xiao Lu.

Why do you look so happy?

You haven't forgotten about our dinner tonight, right?

Of course not.

Here's the address.

Don't forget.

Thank you.

Relax.

You just want to let him know how important he is.

What a coincidence.

Before your date arrives

why don't I keep you company?

I don't need your company, thank you.

You're very welcome.

Since I'm such a nice person

I'd be happy to chat with you.

So who's your date?

None of your business.

Tao Zi.

Something urgent has come up so I can't make it tonight.

I'll treat you to dinner next time.

I also want to hear what your secret is.

Judging from your look

I don't think he's coming, is he?

Goodbye.

Sit down.

It's not easy to get a reservation at this restaurant.

Let's have dinner together.

I've already made it very clear to you.

Didn't you get it?

Are you waiting for the person who stood you up?

Aren't you angry that he didn't show up?

You'd never understand what trust is.

He's my most important friend as well as my...

Anyway, I'd never doubt him no matter what.

That friend of yours...

is Xiao Lu, right?

That's right.

You said you like Xiao Lu.

But I don't think you know him at all.

That's right, I don't know him very well.

I don't even know myself.

Then that's it.

Just like you said

you don't even know yourself.

Then let me tell you.

I think...

you don't actually hate me that much.

You said I'm an arrogant creep

and I have nothing to say to that.

But there's something that I must ask you.

Have I ever done anything to try and damage OZ?

Has Lu Tian Xing ever done anything to try and damage OZ?

Do you know that I like you?

I don't want to know.

Do you know that I like you?

I don't want to know.

What happened to you?

I thought you were having dinner with Xiao Lu.

Where are my parents?

They've gone away.

Where to?

I don't know.

When I got home, I saw them packing their bags

and said they were going to visit your aunt.

Hey.

Is everything okay with you and Xiao Lu?

It's not Xiao Lu.

Boss.

You've already been in there for an hour.

Are you okay?

I wonder if she's...

Tao Le Si.

Just answer one question for me.

Should I be worried about you right now?

No.

I'm fine.

Are you sure?

Why did you kiss me?

I said I like you!

Tao Le Si.

Are you asleep?

Not yet.

Did Xiao Lu do something to make you angry?

It's okay if you don't want to talk about it.

Just get some good rest.

You haven't slept well for the past few nights yourself.

Don't worry about me.

That's because...

I've got too much on my mind...

for the past few days.

A lot of things on my mind.

Why do we have so many worries...

and so much weighing on our minds?

I don't know either.

I just...

want you to be really happy.

I want to be really happy as well.

But...

why is it so hard...

to achieve something as simple as that?

I don't know either.

Don't cry.

Xiao Lu.

Hi.

Was everything okay last night?

I got a little worried about you.

I'm okay.

I had to take care of something.

I'm sorry.

How come Xiao Lu seems so odd?

Last night

I actually bumped into Lu Tian Xing.

Last night

I actually bumped into Lu Tian Xing.

So...

was everything okay?

Yeah, nothing happened.

I was more worried about you.

Thank goodness you're okay.

It's my fault.

You didn't get to share your secret with me.

I'm sorry.

Don't say that.

It's no big deal.

We see each other every day anyway.

I'll find another time to tell you.

I guess so.

I'm actually quite curious.

What's the secret?

We're presenting to Samsung today, right?

Are you nervous?

I would've been in the past.

But now...

I'm not.

I better go and prepare for the presentation.

Okay.

Are you okay, sir?

Let me help you get up.

Quick, hold on to his bike.

Here, careful.

Can you move his bike to the side?

Walk slowly.

Careful.

Are you all right?

How strange.

Leo's always early.

Why isn't he here yet?

Today's presentation is very important.

Let me call him.

Get some rest, wait here.

[Tao Zi]

Hello, Tao Zi.

An accident just happened.

A motorcyclist has been hurt.

I can't leave him right now.

I'll rush over once he's been taken to the hospital, okay?

Wait, let me call the ambulance.

Okay.

Boss, what should we do?

Leo's still not here.

The presentation is starting in 15 minutes.

Samsung's manager really favors Leo.

If he doesn't come, it'll be very hard for us to convince him.

Tao Zi, you want to try calling him again?

Okay.

Sorry, I need to take this first.

- Hello, Tao Zi. - Leo, where are you?

I'm still doing a police statement at the hospital.

But we're about to start.

Tao Zi.

Get Xiao Lu.

Let him do the presentation on my behalf.

Xiao Lu?

You want Xiao Lu to present on your behalf?

I know, Leo.

But Samsung's manager really favors you

so they'll definitely ask why you're absent.

I'm sure they really want you to personally do the presentation.

- Can't you... - Tao Zi, calm down and listen to me.

Let Xiao Lu start the presentation.

I'll rush over once I'm done at the hospital.

Okay.

Boss, what did Leo say?

Is he sure he wants Xiao Lu to lead us in the presentation?

No, but Samsung's our big client for Q1.

Yeah, Xiao Lu's still too green.

What if he makes a mistake or something?

I'm sorry, Xiao Lu.

I know you're a great copywriter

but Samsung's a very important client to us.

Xiao Lu doesn't have any presentation experience.

- Actually, I... - Excuse me, our managers are ready.

Please come through to the conference room.

Boss.

I also don't think Xiao Lu's up for it.

Looks like I'll have to get Lu Tian Xing to help.

Boss.

Welcome.

How may I help you, sir?

Hello everyone, I'm Tao Le Si, OZ's boss.

On behalf of OZ...

I'm going to present the ad script that we've come up with for Samsung.

It's about lying.

Where's Director Leo?

Why isn't he here?

He's...

He's not here.

He's at...

I think you should know

that we only picked OZ

because we saw the ad that Director Leo did for Jia He.

If he's not here

then please tell me how we're supposed to go on with this meeting.

Hi, everyone.

Sorry I'm late.

Lu Tian Xing?
