I was just trying to pick a blanket up.

Head on back to your room, Hilliard.

Go on.

You can put the knife down now.

He tried to get up on me. He's just a boy.

Oh, a man trying to rape me.

I don't need to hear that right now.

Well, he need to hear it.

Just trying to sleep.

I can see now that having you here was wishful thinking.

That's on me.

Should've known better between Healy's age and you being.

Oh, what?

You pretty girl.

Robin.

Pretty young thing.

Walking around half naked.

Boy can't sleep.

How's that?

You tell me you don't want me to.

My mama gave me this. Not.

I know how hard it's been for you.

You dating and killed in an old man your mother had in the house.

My mama loved me. And I loved her.

She was my best friend.

It's why I wanted you here.

But now I got to think about what's best for Haley

and you, too.

You got all your girlfriends from the equivalency test team as well.

As you can see, all over.

I know.

And then by what you did is about what?

You are a woman. Enough to see it.

It's our duty to make sure these black men don't go crazy.

Right or wrong.

It's what we can do.

Mr. gray.

Mr. gray.

We know.

Who are you?

It's my house.

It's me.

Robin.

Bird spray.

Are you gonna help her?

I still got your key from last night.

I came to bring it back.

And when I knock, you started screaming. Hey,

but you dream about

who it was you said it was.

It's true.

Yeah.

What happened?

Hey hey, wait wait wait.

Don't you follow that?

Let me get some water for your face.

What are you today?

Toilet, toilet

In the kitchen.

No, no, ma'am.

We toilet it.

It's this, this is this down at running down.

It's at least that's where it used to be.

Not going to jump out on me,

You sure.

Nuh nuh. No.

That ain't right.

Oh! Whoa whoa.

Stop stop stop.

Stop doing what you're doing. And go close that door.

No, no, you listen that don't give. No.

I'ma be haunting you. Understand?

Haunted him so much.

What are you talking?

Yeah. Every time Reggie said he going to clean up, he.

And he end up throwing away all.

All my best thing. My best thing.

Oh, yeah?

Like what?

Oh, come on, don't do that.

I'll show you

that. Oh, you're moving too fast.

Oh. I'm sorry. He's sorry.

I'll tell you what.

I'll show you everything before I toss it out.

You get to decide, You like that?

Yeah. Yeah.

You like that?

Okay.

You ready?

I guess.

You won't keep this funky old toothbrush?

No. Now, you do that thing where?

Yeah.

We give you a bit of that.

Take it.

We can get rid of this to say goodbye.

All right then.

Throw that in.

You can,

What, what that is.

Cough and cold.

I ain't got no one now.

Oh, hell no.

Like this.

You can always go back over to Mrs..

I'll let in no more.

Why don't you?

Yeah.

How come?

Oh, you matter.

You stay here.

I got plenty of tabletops.

You infested. Hear all these panels?

All these boxes? Breeding ground.

You had to put a start on

that right now. Yes.

Before you.

Just.

Jet around the Middle East on Main Highway.

What started as a civil split into violence.

An eyewitness account of.

People.

Come on.

Let me show you how bad things supposed to look like.

Oh. Are you also fed beef?

Voila.

Just.

As magic.

Your floater was just been. Yeah.

Junk in the toilet bowl in the sink. But I ain't take much.

But how do you know? How do I. How old is you?

My mama used to get sick, and we had no money, so it'd be on me to fix things.

Oh, your mama sick.

She died.

Oh, that's too bad.

Oh. Oh, I got to go.

What? I got to go now.

Oh, but. Well, just because there's people on the world, I mean, you get to

work with the angry buddy here.

Oh, I love that. You.

You had some milk?

Go back in and wash your hands.

Yeah. You.

Can. Can't do this by myself.

Did you think about going way more?

My stuff?

I'm just trying to make things better for you.

They don't sound so bad.

Do it.

So can you be.

Can you be cool and be clean?

No, don't fizz and smack yourself.

Yeah.

You got the key for them pal.

No no no no no.

Not that. No.

You ain't got the key or.

Look I got to go in here.

Too many roaches. I got an insect bomb.

Not in there and everywhere.

That's the point.

Oh, that's her room.

Since, you know, since I was.

I was married to her, and and and then she died.

You know.

Look, he killed like a beggar.

Was. I'm done.

You could trust me.

Here.

You can.

It'd be like it never, ever happened.

I promise.

Don't worry.

I'm gonna make this quick.

Here.

Everything. Is nice.

You need to come out of there.

Come on in.

This.

Do you come in or what?

Why are you standing outside the.

And luckily, he does not have any lung damage at this time.

Let me know if you need help in.

Right.

Hey, you're not going to use a suitcase, are you, Mr.

Gray?

You leave my travel case alone and leave my bookcase alone.

And don't mess with my sounds.

All my team.

Okay, okay, sir, we got you.

Come out the closet and don't take my book, M.D., all right?

They get the message,

but we're almost there.

Now we have my clock.

I don't want to go in your closet without.

It was in it.

It was in a little trunk made out of.

Made out of wood and metal.

And that's what it was in what was,

the, the, Oh.

Come on.

Oh, I forget it looks pretty good in here.

I must agree.

Hey, I'd like to take the alligator suitcase.

I mean, he ain't going nowhere.

Oh, leave my alligator alone.

No, he don't need it.

Hey, hey, it's his bag he going to keep.

That's right.

See, that tote ain't got nothing to worry about.

And what your name is again? Robin.

First birds prey.

Well, if you want them to take this stuff down to recycling, we got to go.

Yeah, I hear you.

I'll be out in a minute. Man. All right.

It was.

It was.

It was a little box

made out of metal and wood behind a red rock.

Way down in the well.

There are no toxic.

So we agreed on

way more than bargained for.

I get it, but don't worry.

I got you. Cool.

Hey, Billy and Jack about to go.

Oh. We can't do them like that.

We got to pay them first, and I will not.

Not record our treasure. That ain't.

That ain't what it's for.

And guess what?

Well, you're going to bounce off.

Didn't. Don't let nobody in with him.

She lucky I ain't cut her.

For what you said to the men.

And how is stuff

Yeah, yeah.

Just what we live for now.

And, we just have for tonight.

He'd be back home tomorrow.

No, they ain't got no business being here.

Is that I.

I shouldn't have kept it.

I belong to your wife.

She did.

Maybe.

Maybe maybe you can.

You can take them.

Treat them like a woman.

All to.

You should go to bed.

You can,

listen to the TV.

Which parts of the United States

will be subject to increasing extreme rainfall and flooding?

Meanwhile,

is also

reaching record highs with temperatures surging across the region.

The loss of ice from melting

not only the animals and wildlife they rely on habitat for survival,

but also impacts the polar stream, which is also directly.

If we go home now, you'll be coming later.

Not just you and me, but Reggie do want you to go see this doctor.

So I guess we had enough hours.

Tell him, doctor ahead to the woman with the heat

growing out of it. Sir?

What's up?

Y'all ready?

Watch your step.

Are you doing all right, Mr.. Great?

Yes, I am good. Oh,

Billy.

Billy.

Yeah.

Great.

Hey. Oh, hey.

Hey, you up at your mama and what you.

My way.

Every single way.

Might be.

Oh, I said yeah, but I don't like you.

All right.

You great ice truck. Shh.

What kind of doctor are you going to,

counting down?

They got doctor Pepper.

I hope.

Hey, y'all need me to come with. No.

You running late as it is. I got it from here. Right.

I'll just, Well, I'll bring your bags by later.

All right, if you need me. All right.

Mr.. Great.

Welcome me.

That night.

You ever seen anything like it?

Oh yeah.

Yeah.

Oh come on.

Oh that's.

The doctor will be right with you.

Can I get you something to drink?

Doctor, please.

Hello, Mr.

gray,

I'm Doctor Rubin.

It is so nice to meet you.

Please, have a have a seat.

Reginald.

Lloyd.

No, no. Reggie.

Robert Burnett.

Reggie passed suddenly.

I'm so sorry to hear that.

Mr. Lloyd was Mr.

Gray's caretaker.

Yes, I guess you could call him that.

What should I call you?

Just a family friend helping up.

Okay, good.

Mr. gray, it is so great to finally meet you.

Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.

Well, as you should be.

And that's why you referred to me. Because you're so strong.

He's damn right I am.

Although I haven't been told that

you have been forgetting things.

I, I remember what's important.

Such as?

Know what's right and and and what's wrong.

That is very important.

But do you remember what you've had for breakfast this morning?

Or the chores that you had planned for today?

Do you remember the way home, Mr.

Gray, there's one thing you need to remember.

Sometimes I just want to forget.

I understand.

Miss.

Miss Barnett, I,

I should tell you a little bit about what I do.

I work with a group of specialists who are trying to cure

certain aspects of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, senility.

And we've come very far in our research.

We can virtually, if only temporarily,

eliminate almost all forms of dementia.

When we going to go home? Doc?

After two doses of the drug that we've developed or administered.

Mr. Gray, within a week's time

will remember everything that he has

ever known.

He'll know details that you or

I or any normal person couldn't possibly remember.

Did you tell Reggie all this?

Certainly.

No, no, we were saving this discussion for today's

consultation, where we would have also broached the more

complicated

aspects of this decision, namely that the drawbacks.

What's the drawbacks?

I think that that conversation is best left.

And one on one between Mr.

Gray myself.

Oh, one on one.

Had I supposed to work? Oh.

Thank you.

Go, go.

Early on in our research, we developed another treatment.

It doesn't provide 100% lucidity, but it does provide cognizance.

You might say in a simple English,

in short, the treatment will give Mr.

Gray the ability to think clearly and

to make his own decisions.

Maybe we could,

you know, come back next week and tell you then.

Miss Barnett, if I if I may, I know that this is very difficult,

but his own doctor's reports tell me that he's on the very edge

of what this procedure can reverse.

And next week, maybe even tomorrow,

he won't be too far on.

So what would you give him?

Like. Like a pill. So.

No, no, it's, it's a single shot.

The effects lasting 12 to 24 hours, approximately.

There are no side effects, but the treatment

will only work once.

Once it wears off, treating him again will do absolutely

nothing for him.

This may seem like a help

you remember again.

Even if we're caught out, crazy is at.

We want to give you a shot to help you make sense?

All this is crazy shit for you. So

is that what you,

Oh, I don't know.

I want to know.

Don't.

Yeah.

Do you do, Mr.

Gray? Oh.

You're good.

Yeah. You.

Discharged

through the short time. This.

Did wrote to them.

Drinking water regulation.

You turn to.

Oh, yeah.

So that's trying to do.

You ain't worry.

You gonna lose the channel.

I'm gonna lose at the end of TV.

Well, do you know who I am?

You are my, No. You,

niece's best friend's daughter who sent over here

to help me clean up.

I used to have a lot of stuff in here.

Yeah. Me and Billy first. Clinton.

Billy? Yeah.

Registration.

Yeah, right.

And Reggie is dead.

Somebody killed him.

You remember that?

They know who?

No. Nobody know for sure.

The cops don't even care

where you get killed.

They're down in the alley by Delmar Circle.

You got a car?

Nuh. Make a call on.

Do that.

I'm going to go see where Reggie got killed.

But the shot the doctor gave you only going to last

maybe a half a day, and then you forget again.

And you had about four hours already.

Well, I guess you better hurry up then.

Is it?

Yes, sir.

You okay?

It's just. Oh.

So different. Ruth.

I don't feel no different.

Why are you walking so fast?

Excuse me, sir.

What?

There was a, a shooting around here not long ago.

Man got man got killed.

I was wondering if you know anything.

What's your name?

My name?

Town man who died was my nephew Reggie.

My great nephew.

Uncle. Why?

Whoa.

Some.

It's a pile of shit.

You're drinking it. But,

Zelda?

Yeah.

Okay.

You, you saw what that man got shot, right?

Maybe it's due to his.

His, uncle.

He. Okay.

It's, second

puddle down there who's a brown colored man with spiky hair.

You ever seen him before? You want him?

Never seen either one look like they was meeting or something.

You hear anything?

You, him, they say anything, like name.

I heard shooting, and I run.

I think the shooter had a zigzag like scar where his left.

I think.

Thank you.

God bless you all.

Yeah.

I've seen enough here.

We need to go back.

I already told you.

Doctor Rubin is expecting us.

Listen to me.

You need to talk to this man.

Let me tell you everything you need to know about this treatment.

So you can make a clear choice how far you want to go with it, I already know.

What are you going to tell me already?

Yeah, well, that's just crazy.

It's crazy because I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

Did you discuss this much

when the doctor said there's going to be job next to the next shot?

I don't make no difference. Why not?

For Reggie.

But you.

For me?

I remember when he made this for me.

He blow it up so he can write the names on it real big.

So I remember.

Did it at his computer home

for me.

He was always doing to me.

So how folk forget his name.

What kind of man would I be?

If I didn't

recognize the injustice of his passing?

Well, that is telling my whole.

Does Ptolemy Gray live here?

Yeah, but he sleep. Oh,

I'm sorry I am so late, but I had to work,

so come back in a few days, a little early next time.

Okay? I'll come again.

Would you please tell him that

I stopped by?

He'll remember.

Oh, well.

Such a nice man.

Uncle.

Are you okay?

I had,

I had a picture.

Look.

Yeah, it was blown up

by my nephew made for me.

And, and, now, I can't find

Uncle.

Look at me.

Do you even know where you are?

Oh, no.

I'm. I'm.

Well, to see what's it up to?

This way.

Bruh.

He started losing it so fast. I don't know what else to do.

Not worry.

I've brought it with me.

Ain't no rules and no laws.

No rules.

And why is this happening?

It ain't even been 12 hours yet.

He's way worse than he was before.

Pushing.

What is that way with you?

You you want to, sister Reggie, maybe we should stop for us,

If you feel like that.

The very first first day. So,

can you die some years?

Still not as many now, but you mean not as many.

You can spend your life, man.

He's willing to take the chance to wake from this condition

if that's what he wants.

No, I know God.

I don't doubt God at all. No, no.

You on the.

It's on.

You burning up?

It's all right.

I'm right. You know, not my.

Oh, God.

Stay with me, boy.

You know what you gotta do? Got up.

Oh, no.

Oh, no, no, I can't do this.

My, If you died and everything is lost, do you understand that

there's no laws and no rules for black men like you and me?

There's right and is wrong as far as the white people can see.

The crown we breathe in air. You, You understand me?

Yes. Yes, sir.

Yes. All right.

Whoa,

whoa!

What is happening?

Bird?

What you doing

to me? I'm.
