I'll introduce you to my family.

My daughter, Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

My wife, Amanda.

We'll be here for you…

WEBVTT FILE

Like you're our own.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Good afternoon.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

It's okay.

WEBVTT FILE

This is Matthew.

He's gonna stay with us from now on.

WEBVTT FILE

Hi, Matthew.

My name is Amanda, Robert's wife.

She's our daughter, Mica.

Mica, say hi to Matthew.

Hi, Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

Hi, Matthew.

Come inside.

How was your trip?

Hope it was good.

You must be hungry.

WEBVTT FILE

You must be hungry.

We have food for you.

Your room is ready too.

Come inside.

WEBVTT FILE

That was us when we got married.

And that is Mica.

She's cute, isn't she?

WEBVTT FILE

Hi, Matthew!

WEBVTT FILE

Don't worry.

This will be your new home.

We're your new family.

You will live here now.

WEBVTT FILE

Let's play!

Go ahead. I'll prepare your things.

WEBVTT FILE

You have a new son.

- Juice? - Sure.

WEBVTT FILE

- Juice? - Sure.

Here you go.

WEBVTT FILE

You know what?

I think I like him.

Come here.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Why aren't you talking?

Are you mute?

Mama wants us to get close,

WEBVTT FILE

since you'll be living here.

Why are your eyes so sad?

Papa told me, you miss someone when your eyes are so sad.

WEBVTT FILE

Papa told me, you miss someone when your eyes are so sad.

Who do you miss?

My father.

I'm all alone now.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm all alone now.

You're not alone.

I'm here.

I won't leave you.

We're your new family.

WEBVTT FILE

Success.

Growing up, I've always heard of that word.

Success.

WEBVTT FILE

Do good in your studies so that you can be a successful lawyer later on.

You need to do this and that,

to attain success.

But what accounts for success?

WEBVTT FILE

But what accounts for success?

Wealth?

Possessions?

Is it the ability to wear designer labels,

expensive sports cars?

WEBVTT FILE

expensive sports cars?

What people don't know is that success can even be in the simplest form:

Such as discipline, determination, good values…

WEBVTT FILE

Such as discipline, determination, good values…

Success is about passion.

Passion to do good, to succeed, to compete,

to make a change in this world.

WEBVTT FILE

to make a change in this world.

All of this,

I saw it when I was young—

in the form of my father, Domeng.

He was a peasant leader.

WEBVTT FILE

He was a peasant leader.

He fought for the rights of his people.

He did not stand down even to the most powerful people.

He was passionate for justice.

WEBVTT FILE

He was passionate for justice.

As well as the man who took me in,

raised me to be the man standing in front of you.

Can I see yours?

He's one of the very best human rights lawyers in the country.

WEBVTT FILE

He's one of the very best human rights lawyers in the country.

And this is no exaggeration.

He could've gone to other places,

gone to other companies to earn more,

WEBVTT FILE

but he chose to stay here in our town,

because he wants to help his people.

He is passionate about helping.

WEBVTT FILE

As future lawyers, that is what we should aim for.

To have that kind of passion in helping and fighting for justice.

WEBVTT FILE

Make your purpose clear and free from self-promotion.

Have that kind of passion in helping and fighting for justice.

WEBVTT FILE

Have that kind of passion in helping and fighting for justice.

To the Class of 2015.

May you find your purpose and have that passion for it.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Thank you.

I think this calls for a celebration!

Of course!

WEBVTT FILE

Of course!

Here we go!

Congratulations!

- Here, Ma. - Thank you.

- Here you go. - Thank you, Pa.

WEBVTT FILE

- Here you go. - Thank you, Pa.

Thank you very much, Matthew.

Congratulations, child!

WEBVTT FILE

Congratulations, Matthew.

You had a beautiful speech.

Thank you!

Congratulations, Matthew.

You graduated top of your class.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Thank you.

I owe this to you.

Matthew, don't forget your father's case.

Remember, our win paid for your studies.

WEBVTT FILE

Remember, our win paid for your studies.

It helped a lot.

Your sacrifices are a whole lot bigger.

WEBVTT FILE

You are worth all our efforts and sacrifices.

Of course, look at our topnotcher!

- Thank you! - Cheers!

Cheers!

WEBVTT FILE

Cheers!

Pa, we are actually going out with friends.

Wait, we thought you wanted to celebrate with us!

WEBVTT FILE

Wait, we thought you wanted to celebrate with us!

Ma, please? Just this time.

Let them be.

They want to be with their peers.

You really favored them, huh?

WEBVTT FILE

You really favored them, huh?

- Thank you, Pa! - Alright, go ahead.

Matthew, I know you'll take care of Mica.

Yes, I will.

WEBVTT FILE

Yes, I will.

- And don't get too drunk! - Yes.

Let's go!

Take care and behave!

Behave!

WEBVTT FILE

Careful!

WEBVTT FILE

- Cheers! - Cheers!

- Congrats, guys! - Congrats.

Congrats to us.

WEBVTT FILE

Congrats to us.

Thank you.

So what now, Mica and Matthew?

We have graduated already,

and neither has admitted anything.

WEBVTT FILE

and neither has admitted anything.

Just say if you're together, or not.

Guys, we have nothing to say about us.

Nothing?

WEBVTT FILE

Nothing?

Nothing at all?

Don't make any issue out of it!

We don't believe you.

WEBVTT FILE

We don't believe you.

You're always together

and no feelings developed?

We see each other as siblings.

- Rejected! - Rejected!

WEBVTT FILE

- Rejected! - Rejected!

Is it just you who feels that way?

I told you already.

He told you we're like brother and sister.

They don't want to admit it.

WEBVTT FILE

They don't want to admit it.

Guess there's really nothing.

Not even a chance?

Stop messing with us.

Let's celebrate.

Okay.

- Cheers! - Okay.

WEBVTT FILE

- Cheers! - Okay.

- Cheers! - Cheers!

Congrats to us!

This place is amazing!

WEBVTT FILE

This place is amazing!

Hey, slow it down.

Is it bad to drink?

Take it slowly, okay?

WEBVTT FILE

Take it slowly, okay?

They might scold us.

Congrats!

You should be happy.

I'm single.

[laughing]

WEBVTT FILE

[laughing]

Let's just drink up.

Exactly.

Cheers!

Hell, yeah. Damn it!

That was so exhausting, wasn't it?

Drink hard!

WEBVTT FILE

Drink hard!

Fix yourself.

Let's drink more, Matthew!

They might hear you.

So be it. I've graduated already!

I told them I'd watch over you.

WEBVTT FILE

I told them I'd watch over you.

- Fix yourself. - Let's drink more!

WEBVTT FILE

Let's drink some more.

Hey, stay quiet!

What you said earlier, is that true?

WEBVTT FILE

What about?

That you see me as a sister.

We are siblings, aren't we?

WEBVTT FILE

We are siblings, aren't we?

Snap out of it, Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

Well,

I don't see you that way.

I love you, Matthew.

I always have.

WEBVTT FILE

I always have.

I've never told anybody but...

It's the truth.

I love you.

WEBVTT FILE

What? You won't answer?

I love you, Matthew.

- You must sleep. - I hope—

WEBVTT FILE

- You must sleep. - I hope—

You love…

WEBVTT FILE

My god…

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

[knocking]

[knocking]

Mica?

WEBVTT FILE

Mica.

Oh my god.

Mica, wake up.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica, wake up.

Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

My head hurts.

I told you not to get drunk.

Good thing, you were with Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

What happened?

Ma…

I think I admitted it last night.

What?

WEBVTT FILE

What?

Admitted what?

That I like him more than a brother.

Mica.

Mica, he's almost your sibling.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica, he's almost your sibling.

We raised the both of you together.

I see him as a son. You know that, right?

I know that, Ma.

But I can't help it.

WEBVTT FILE

But I can't help it.

I love him.

Alright.

I will still support you.

WEBVTT FILE

I will still support you.

Matthew is a good kid.

I'm sure he'll never hurt you.

WEBVTT FILE

These books have extremely helped me.

I'm sure they'll help you too.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sure they'll help you too.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

- Thanks again. - You're welcome.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want this anymore.

Why do we even have to take the bar exam?

I'm just so tired.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm just so tired.

You can do that.

We can't be legitimate lawyers, if we won't take it.

Tell me which part you're struggling at.

In everything!

WEBVTT FILE

In everything!

My head is full.

Information overload!

WEBVTT FILE

You're lucky you're smart.

That's why Papa likes you more than me.

What are you talking about?

That's not true.

Okay?

WEBVTT FILE

Okay?

That can't be. You're their child.

It's true.

They've always wanted me to be as smart as you.

I'm not smart.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm not smart.

Imagine, the daughter of the top human rights lawyer in town is not smart.

That's why Papa is prouder of you.

WEBVTT FILE

He is proud of you.

How did you know?

Did he tell you?

He did last time when he handed down his review books.

WEBVTT FILE

He did last time when he handed down his review books.

See?

He gave his old books to you and not to me.

Will you read them?

WEBVTT FILE

Will you read them?

You never know.

I know you.

As for me, I study hard to get high grades.

WEBVTT FILE

As for me, I study hard to get high grades.

For sure, when you try a little harder,

your grades could be higher than mine.

WEBVTT FILE

your grades could be higher than mine.

Just review.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew…

Yes?

What happened last night when I was drunk…

You were just drunk.

WEBVTT FILE

You were just drunk.

I meant what I said.

Mica…

I love you, Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

I see you as a sister.

No. I don't believe you.

The way you take care of me…

WEBVTT FILE

The way you take care of me…

The way you look at me…

I know, there's something in there.

Do you think your parents can accept us?

WEBVTT FILE

Do you think your parents can accept us?

Can they accept what we want?

What would they say?

Uncle Robert?

WEBVTT FILE

Uncle Robert?

I don't care.

I already told Mommy that I love you.

For sure,

Papa would accept us as well.

WEBVTT FILE

Papa would accept us as well.

Mica, what the hell!

WEBVTT FILE

Don't do that in public!

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Hurry up!

Okay, okay.

WEBVTT FILE

Mom and dad might scold us.

Hurry.

WEBVTT FILE

Hurry.

Come on.

WEBVTT FILE

Good morning, sir. Good morning, ma'am.

Good morning.

WEBVTT FILE

- Good morning, Pa. - Good morning.

- Good morning, Ma. - Good morning.

You came home late.

WEBVTT FILE

You came home late.

- Ma, Pa, I have— - Sorry. It's just that…

We didn't notice the time spent studying.

WEBVTT FILE

We didn't notice the time spent studying.

Let's come inside first. Come in.

Let's go.

Have some coffee.

Dolores, coffee for the kids, please.

WEBVTT FILE

Dolores, coffee for the kids, please.

My child, you were about to say something.

WEBVTT FILE

My child, you were about to say something.

- Yes, Ma, last night— - Yeah, Mica had…

…high scores in our practice tests.

WEBVTT FILE

…high scores in our practice tests.

Yes, Ma.

I'm getting better with my scores last night.

That's fantastic! Keep it up!

WEBVTT FILE

That's fantastic! Keep it up!

Don't be complacent.

The bar exam is different.

Yes, Pa. I'll go upstairs now.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm tired, Ma...

- How about your coffee? - I’m good.

- Sure? - Yes.

I'll go upstairs too.

Excuse me.

WEBVTT FILE

Go ahead.

Continue tutoring her.

Yes.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

[mumbling]

Mica, what are you doing here?

WEBVTT FILE

Mica, what are you doing here?

Someone might see you.

Mica!

Why did you stop me earlier?

WEBVTT FILE

Why did you stop me earlier?

What do you mean?

When I was about to tell them what's going on between us.

WEBVTT FILE

They might hear you!

And so what?

It's the truth, isn't it?

What's keeping you from telling them?

I don't want to hear bad things from other people.

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want to hear bad things from other people.

You know this house.

News spread like wildfire.

I don't care what they will say.

I am not yet ready to tell them.

WEBVTT FILE

I am not yet ready to tell them.

Especially to your father.

- Tell me why! - I don't want to disappoint him.

He fended for me…

WEBVTT FILE

He fended for me…

only for me to what?

Screw his daughter?

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sorry.

Just give me time to tell them.

WEBVTT FILE

I should be the one to tell them...

because I'm the guy.

Please?

WEBVTT FILE

Okay, but do it soon.

WEBVTT FILE

Leave now before they see you here.

WEBVTT FILE

Leave now before they see you here.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew is a good example to our daughter.

I agree.

It's nice that someone teaches and helps Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew is a good person and he's kind.

I forgot to tell you something.

That night Mica got drunk…

WEBVTT FILE

That night Mica got drunk…

What?

- What about? - Wait.

Dolores!

- Yes, Ma'am? - Give us some snacks.

Hold on.

WEBVTT FILE

What happened?

Well…

Apparently, our daughter confessed...

WEBVTT FILE

Apparently, our daughter confessed...

her love for him.

Mica confessed her love for Matthew?

WEBVTT FILE

Mica confessed her love for Matthew?

I won't let that happen.

Thank you.

But why?

WEBVTT FILE

But why?

Because…

Because they're siblings.

Robert, I treat Matthew as my own…

WEBVTT FILE

Robert, I treat Matthew as my own…

But we can't control their feelings.

WEBVTT FILE

What did Matthew say?

He said he sees her as a sister.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Hey!

WEBVTT FILE

Hey!

Why don't you study?

Come here.

I don't want to study anymore.

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want to study anymore.

I know I won't pass my first take.

Mica, someone might see us.

So what?

WEBVTT FILE

So what?

Stop it!

We discussed this already.

Mica,

WEBVTT FILE

please...

let's study first.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Are you ready?

Yes, I'm ready.

WEBVTT FILE

Oh, my god! Matthew, we're lawyers!

I told you. You can do it!

WEBVTT FILE

I told you. You can do it!

Wait, let's check if you're in the top ten.

There's no need.

At least, we passed.

WEBVTT FILE

Oh, my god!

Oh, my god! Matthew.

Seriously?

You're top one!

Oh, my god!

WEBVTT FILE

Oh, my god!

Hey.

Kids, oh, my God!

I just saw the results! Congratulations!

WEBVTT FILE

I just saw the results! Congratulations!

Thank you, Ma!

You're so good!

I can hear how happy you are from outside!

- Thank you. - And you! Top one!

WEBVTT FILE

- Thank you. - And you! Top one!

Thank you.

Your father would be very proud.

Does he know now?

I'm so excited to tell him!

I'm sure he's waiting for the results in his office.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sure he's waiting for the results in his office.

Wait a minute!

Speaking of… Here you go!

Hello, Pa?

Hello, Ma! Where are the kids?

WEBVTT FILE

Hello, Ma! Where are the kids?

I'm with them. You're on speakerphone.

Congratulations to the both of you!

I'm so proud of the both of you,

WEBVTT FILE

I'm so proud of the both of you,

especially you, Matthew.

Thank you!

Top one in the bar exam!

Robert!

Congratulations to Matthew and Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

Congratulations to Matthew and Mica.

- Follow to the house, Michael. - I will.

Thank you. I'll see you!

- Congratulations! - Thank you.

Michael, don't forget to follow!

- I will. - See you.

This calls for a celebration. Tell your mom to fix lunch.

WEBVTT FILE

This calls for a celebration. Tell your mom to fix lunch.

Yes, Pa. Don't forget our gifts.

Of course, both of you deserve it!

Thank you pa!

I'm on my way there from the office. I'll see you soon.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm on my way there from the office. I'll see you soon.

- Alright. Bye, Pa! - Bye, Pa!

I'll prepare now before your father gets here.

WEBVTT FILE

So, kids.

Have you been eyeing companies?

WEBVTT FILE

Have you been eyeing companies?

Pa, let them enjoy the moment first.

Ma, they must not be complacent, or they'll get outrun.

I was thinking of resting for six months.

WEBVTT FILE

I was thinking of resting for six months.

How about you, Matthew?

What's your plan?

Being the Top 1 might go to waste if you will just take a break.

WEBVTT FILE

Being the Top 1 might go to waste if you will just take a break.

Perhaps next week, I'll look for a job.

There's no need for that.

I'll set up an interview with Michael.

You can work for us.

You've always wanted to become a human rights lawyer, right?

WEBVTT FILE

You've always wanted to become a human rights lawyer, right?

Yes.

That's unfair.

You offered him a job. How about me?

- Robert! - Michael!

WEBVTT FILE

- Robert! - Michael!

- Hello, everybody. - What a coincidence!

- Nice to see you, Michael. - Same here.

Have a seat.

- This is for you. - Oh, thank you.

No need. I just passed by.

Kids, I want you to meet Michael,

WEBVTT FILE

Kids, I want you to meet Michael,

my long-time coworker and friend.

- You know Amanda. - Of course.

Michael.

Hi, Amanda. How are you?

Long time no see.

I know. I'm doing great!

WEBVTT FILE

I know. I'm doing great!

I miss hanging out with you.

We'll do it soon.

Is this the child of Domeng, your old client?

WEBVTT FILE

Is this the child of Domeng, your old client?

He is.

You're all grown up now.

WEBVTT FILE

- Sir. - No need. Sit down.

You know my father?

Yes, he was Robert's client a long time ago.

WEBVTT FILE

Yes, he was Robert's client a long time ago.

They were always together when Robert was fighting for your land.

In fact, you look exactly like him.

WEBVTT FILE

In fact, you look exactly like him.

Perhaps, that's why Robert is fond of you.

Michael, I'm setting up an interview for Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

Michael, I'm setting up an interview for Matthew.

I want him to come work for us in the firm.

Of course!

Anything for Domeng.

And Robert's excited for you.

WEBVTT FILE

As he should.

Matthew is such an intelligent boy.

Your firm would be very lucky to have him.

I'm sure of that!

Anyway, I have to leave.

WEBVTT FILE

Anyway, I have to leave.

My wife is waiting for me in the car.

- Send my regards. - I will. Thank you.

See you soon!

Back to eating.

WEBVTT FILE

Back to eating.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Come inside.

When you're on top of the bar exam,

WEBVTT FILE

When you're on top of the bar exam,

that calls for a drink!

We just had dinner.

That's different.

This is different. It's something else.

WEBVTT FILE

This is different. It's something else.

Heart-to-heart talk.

One lawyer to another.

WEBVTT FILE

When your father was still alive,

WEBVTT FILE

When your father was still alive,

we usually drank…

When we were hanging out or when the case was rolling well.

WEBVTT FILE

I recall having you as our visitor.

Your father always invited me for a drink.

WEBVTT FILE

Why?

I just remembered what Michael said…

WEBVTT FILE

I just remembered what Michael said…

about your resemblance to your father.

WEBVTT FILE

Does it still hurt when you think of him?

WEBVTT FILE

Of course.

Me too.

WEBVTT FILE

I miss Domeng.

Were it not for those selfish fools,

WEBVTT FILE

Were it not for those selfish fools,

we never would have lost him.

WEBVTT FILE

What do you mean?

Matthew, this is the perfect time...

that you learn why your father died.

WEBVTT FILE

that you learn why your father died.

Wasn't it a terrorist attack?

WEBVTT FILE

No. That was a coverup.

It was the opposing company of your father's.

Your father was a fierce leader.

WEBVTT FILE

Your father was a fierce leader.

That opposing company wanted to seize their land.

So your father built an organization and I offered to represent it.

WEBVTT FILE

So your father built an organization and I offered to represent it.

I offered to represent it.

You see, Matthew…

I'm good at my job even when I was young.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm good at my job even when I was young.

Your father and I got along, much to the opposing company's dismay…

WEBVTT FILE

so they decided to fight dirty.

I was shocked when I received Michael's call…

WEBVTT FILE

I was shocked when I received Michael's call…

with the news that Domeng was shot…

WEBVTT FILE

By two men.

From a motorboat.

WEBVTT FILE

When I got there,

WEBVTT FILE

I saw you...

holding your dead father...

WEBVTT FILE

crying.

Domeng!

- What happened? - Domeng was shot.

WEBVTT FILE

They are all cruel.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew…

Your anger won't take you anywhere.

If you want to avenge his death,

WEBVTT FILE

then be a human rights lawyer, like I am.

We're becoming too poetic.

We came here to drink and we'll do that.

WEBVTT FILE

We came here to drink and we'll do that.

Cheers!

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

You resemble your father a lot.

WEBVTT FILE

All the more I remember him.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

My achievements are all because of you…

WEBVTT FILE

for taking me in, for taking care of me.

I owe everything to you.

WEBVTT FILE

I owe everything to you.

No, Matthew.

I can't neglect Domeng's son.

WEBVTT FILE

I remember him more.

WEBVTT FILE

- Do you miss him as much as I do? - I do.

Since I look so much like him…

WEBVTT FILE

Since I look so much like him…

Can I…

replace him?

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Wha—

WEBVTT FILE

Where did you go? It's late.

WEBVTT FILE

Where did you go? It's late.

Ma…

I just went out with Matthew for a drink.

An extension of the celebration!

WEBVTT FILE

An extension of the celebration!

That's nice.

You two bonded?

Yeah.

Our children make me proud!

WEBVTT FILE

Our children make me proud!

We just have one child.

Robert, Matthew is our child too.

We've raised him since he was young.

I treat him as my son.

WEBVTT FILE

I treat him as my son.

But you allowed your child to fall for him.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Robert?

Wait a moment!

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Wait!

I'm tired, Ma. I'll go to sleep.

It's been a while and we don't get to spend time with each other.

WEBVTT FILE

It's been a while and we don't get to spend time with each other.

- You're always busy— - Ma, I'm exhausted and drunk.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sleeping.

Next time.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, wake up.

Matthew.

Wake up.

WEBVTT FILE

What are you doing here?

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Mommy is worried.

You didn't go down for breakfast.

It's lunch now and you're still in bed.

What happened to you?

WEBVTT FILE

What happened to you?

Your dad invited me for a drink...

and we got drunk.

But Papa is not drunk.

WEBVTT FILE

But Papa is not drunk.

Really?

Yes, he's sober.

He woke up early for work.

WEBVTT FILE

Dig in.

Mama sent the food for you.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew…

Oh?

WEBVTT FILE

When do you plan to tell them?

Tell what?

What's going on between us?

WEBVTT FILE

Mica…

you know I'm not yet ready.

It's been too long!

WEBVTT FILE

How much longer before you're ready?

One year? Two years? Ten years?

Mica…

WEBVTT FILE

Mica…

You're something. Do you really love me?

I do.

Why do you look hesitant?

WEBVTT FILE

Why do you look hesitant?

Mica...

I'm dizzy and I just woke up.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm dizzy and I just woke up.

I was drunk.

I'm confused.

You say you love, but you don't show it.

WEBVTT FILE

You say you love, but you don't show it.

You can't even hold, or kiss me!

What's the matter?

WEBVTT FILE

Hold yourself together.

I'm scared of what people would say.

WEBVTT FILE

Why are you so scared?

If you truly loved me,

you wouldn't think of them.

WEBVTT FILE

you wouldn't think of them.

Mica...

You know I love you.

Give me more time to tell your parents.

WEBVTT FILE

Give me more time to tell your parents.

Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Mica, my child.

WEBVTT FILE

Are you okay? Why are you crying?

Ma, it's Matthew.

Did you fight?

WEBVTT FILE

Something happened to us, that time we came home late from the review.

WEBVTT FILE

So he likes you.

What's the problem? Why are you crying?

I'm so confused!

WEBVTT FILE

I'm so confused!

He doesn't want to tell you, or to anyone.

He asked for time, but it's been too long.

WEBVTT FILE

He asked for time, but it's been too long.

If anything, he became distant after that night.

WEBVTT FILE

If anything, he became distant after that night.

Do you want me to talk to him about it?

WEBVTT FILE

Hi, Pa, Ma.

I'm sorry it's been a while since I last visited.

I got busy with reviewing.

WEBVTT FILE

I got busy with reviewing.

Everything is worth it.

I'm a lawyer now.

I didn't expect to be the top-notcher.

WEBVTT FILE

I didn't expect to be the top-notcher.

It's such a waste you're not here.

I miss you so much.

WEBVTT FILE

I miss you so much.

What are you doing here?

Same as you,

WEBVTT FILE

visiting Domeng.

WEBVTT FILE

About last time...

- I apologize. - Don't mind it.

WEBVTT FILE

- I apologize. - Don't mind it.

It was the alcohol.

Can I ask you something?

WEBVTT FILE

Can I ask you something?

What is it, Matthew?

Why did you push me away?

WEBVTT FILE

As I should.

It was improper.

Why improper?

WEBVTT FILE

I'm not that kind of person.

I think you're not like that as well.

But I saw you with my father.

WEBVTT FILE

But I saw you with my father.

What are you saying?

Like you said,

WEBVTT FILE

you always drank with my father.

Right?

I saw the two of you kissing.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

You were too young then.

It was just your imagination.

Then why did you kiss me back?

We were both intoxicated.

WEBVTT FILE

We were both intoxicated.

You were not. Don't deny it.

This is not going anywhere.

I'm in love with you!

Matthew,

WEBVTT FILE

I see you as my son!

That's not true.

I notice how you look at me.

WEBVTT FILE

You still remember my father.

Am I not enough to take his place in your heart?

Matthew, I'm not—

WEBVTT FILE

I have my own family.

Don't fool yourself!

Like how you fool yourself.

I know who I am and what I am.

WEBVTT FILE

I know who I am and what I am.

WEBVTT FILE

What about Mica?

WEBVTT FILE

I did it for you.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew.

I love my family.

WEBVTT FILE

Robert—

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

May I come in?

WEBVTT FILE

Let me help you.

I used to just help you with your school uniform,

WEBVTT FILE

I used to just help you with your school uniform,

now you're off for a job interview!

Thank you.

I want you to always know, how proud we are.

WEBVTT FILE

I want you to always know, how proud we are.

Your father himself would have been prouder.

WEBVTT FILE

Thank you.

Were it not for you, I wouldn't have been here.

It's not a big deal.

WEBVTT FILE

It's not a big deal.

They were close friends,

so Robert took you in.

WEBVTT FILE

Thanks again. I'll go ahead.

Wait. Mica told me something about the two of you.

WEBVTT FILE

Wait. Mica told me something about the two of you.

Don't worry.

It's fine with me.

I'm in favor of you.

WEBVTT FILE

You're not mad?

Why would I?

WEBVTT FILE

How about Rob—

How about Papa? Does he know?

Not yet.

Mica told me you want to tell him yourself.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica told me you want to tell him yourself.

I'm just afraid that he would get mad at me.

WEBVTT FILE

How can he get mad with his favorite?

WEBVTT FILE

Let's continue our talk later.

You might be late.

- Alright— - By the way…

WEBVTT FILE

Once you come back, can you go to Mica in her room?

She's sulking.

You're the only one who can get her out.

WEBVTT FILE

You're the only one who can get her out.

Alright, I will try.

Thanks.

Thank you too.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Excuse me, miss.

I'm here to meet with Atty. Michael Pineda.

Come here.

WEBVTT FILE

He's looking for Atty. Pineda. Is he inside?

Yes, ma'am.

Come inside.

Thank you.

WEBVTT FILE

Sir, someone's looking for you.

Come in.

Matthew, how are you?

- I'm good. - Have a seat.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, I'll be frank with you.

This is more of a formality since you are Robert's adopted son.

WEBVTT FILE

Thank you, Attorney.

But I don't want to get hired because of connections.

No need to worry about that.

Everybody knows you as the topnotcher.

WEBVTT FILE

Everybody knows you as the topnotcher.

Your integrity won't be compromised.

In fact, you're doing us a favor for choosing us.

We could use a protege like you.

WEBVTT FILE

We could use a protege like you.

Poor people need you more.

Can we rely on you?

Yes, you can.

WEBVTT FILE

Yes, you can.

[knocking]

Come in.

- Michael. - Robert!

Are you done with the interview?

Of course!

Or else, someone might snatch the top one in the board!

WEBVTT FILE

Or else, someone might snatch the top one in the board!

Matthew.

I'm so excited to work with you.

Thank you, sir.

WEBVTT FILE

[knocking]

WEBVTT FILE

[knocking gets louder]

WEBVTT FILE

Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica.

Can we talk?

If you don't want other people to know,

we have nothing else to talk to.

WEBVTT FILE

we have nothing else to talk to.

Mica, you know the reason.

Why are you so concerned with other people?

I don't want to disappoint your father!

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want to disappoint your father!

You always talk about Papa.

Why are you so scared?

WEBVTT FILE

Why are you so scared?

Hold on.

WEBVTT FILE

Why? Don't you like it?

Let's keep it easy.

I still respect you.

WEBVTT FILE

I still respect you.

But I'm ready.

I've always wanted this.

I told you.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica!

If you really love me,

WEBVTT FILE

If you really love me,

you would do this for me.

But…

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

What are you doing in my daughter's room?

WEBVTT FILE

Alright, everyone.

I asked for all of you to introduce Atty. Matthew Santos.

WEBVTT FILE

He graduated at the top of his class.

And he's this year's topnotcher.

I'm sure he'll be a great asset to our firm.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sure he'll be a great asset to our firm.

For your first assignment,

you'll be assigned to Atty. Delos Reyes' current case.

- With Uncle Robert? - Yes.

WEBVTT FILE

- With Uncle Robert? - Yes.

He needs help, but is too stubborn to ask for it.

I figured that since you're his stepson,

it would be okay for you to help him.

WEBVTT FILE

it would be okay for you to help him.

- Attorney! - Michael.

I assigned Atty. Santos to be your junior associate

for the case you're working on.

WEBVTT FILE

for the case you're working on.

There's no need, Atty. Pineda.

I work alone.

Attorney, we all need help sometimes.

I'd be reassured if two great lawyers will handle that case.

WEBVTT FILE

I'd be reassured if two great lawyers will handle that case.

Is there a problem if I assign him to you? There's no problem, Michael.

Follow me to my office.

I have some documents for you to sort out.

WEBVTT FILE

I have some documents for you to sort out.

Back to work!

Follow me to my office.

WEBVTT FILE

See these?

Study these for the deposition.

WEBVTT FILE

Study these for the deposition.

And here, take it to the paralegal.

Ask for help.

I need that as soon as possible.

WEBVTT FILE

Is there a problem?

None, Attorney.

I'll go now.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

I'll go now, Attorney.

WEBVTT FILE

I'll go now, Attorney.

Okay. Take care.

We're leaving, Attorney.

Take care.

WEBVTT FILE

Take care.

WEBVTT FILE

Atty. Santos, I'll go now.

- Okay, sir. - I’ll see you.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Come in.

Attorney.

WEBVTT FILE

Attorney.

I'm done.

Good.

Put them there.

Now finish these.

WEBVTT FILE

Go now.

WEBVTT FILE

[knocking]

Come in.

WEBVTT FILE

I finished everything.

WEBVTT FILE

Did you want my approval to go with that?

Go look for it somewhere else.

I don't have time for that.

WEBVTT FILE

Are you taking things too personally?

WEBVTT FILE

I don't know what you're talking about.

Tell me I'm wrong.

You're making things hard because you're angry at me.

WEBVTT FILE

You're making things hard because you're angry at me.

Because I'm in a relationship with your daughter.

Matthew, listen to me.

Whatever it is going on between you two,

WEBVTT FILE

Whatever it is going on between you two,

I'm out of that.

My daughter is an adult.

- She can make her own decision. - Bullshit!

Excuse me?

WEBVTT FILE

Excuse me?

Why don't you admit your feelings?

I know you like me.

If you'll continue spewing lies,

WEBVTT FILE

you better get out and go home.

I don't have time for this.

Talk to me!

Are you out of your mind?

What's happening to you?

WEBVTT FILE

What's happening to you?

Just admit that you like me…

that you love me!

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, listen closely.

I have a wife and a daughter.

A wife…

that you don't love.

WEBVTT FILE

that you don't love.

Okay!

If you really love your wife,

why did you have an affair with my father?

WEBVTT FILE

why did you have an affair with my father?

We didn't have an affair.

Okay.

WEBVTT FILE

Lie to yourself.

I know what I saw.

I know what I felt when you kissed me, that night.

WEBVTT FILE

I know what I felt when you kissed me, that night.

I know you like me too.

WEBVTT FILE

Why do you insist that I like you?

Listen carefully.

I don't like you—

WEBVTT FILE

I don't like you—

You're disrespectful!

What's happening to you?

Why can't you acknowledge who you are?

Until when will you fool yourself?

WEBVTT FILE

Until when will you fool yourself?

And your family?

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

So, what now?

What do you mean?

WEBVTT FILE

What about Mica?

Should I end our relationship?

Don't. Don't.

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want to see my daughter hurt.

What?

WEBVTT FILE

What?

You want us to continue?

That would be a burden for me.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, Matthew...

I'm begging you,

don't quit your relationship.

I know my daughter.

WEBVTT FILE

I can tell that she really likes you.

What about us?

No one should know.

WEBVTT FILE

No one should know.

What would other people say,

especially Amanda,

when they knew that one of the best human rights lawyer is gay,

WEBVTT FILE

when they knew that one of the best human rights lawyer is gay,

let alone sleeping with his adopted son?

Matthew…

WEBVTT FILE

We need to keep this as a secret,

WEBVTT FILE

for the both of us.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

You came home late.

- Good evening, sir. - Good evening.

WEBVTT FILE

- Good evening, sir. - Good evening.

Ma, we had to finish stuff in the office.

Yes, you know Uncle Robert, he's a workaholic.

WEBVTT FILE

Yes, you know Uncle Robert, he's a workaholic.

Well...

Sleep now.

We have more stuff to do tomorrow.

WEBVTT FILE

We have more stuff to do tomorrow.

I'll go now.

- Alright. - Good night.

Good night.

Good night.

WEBVTT FILE

Let's go!

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, we'll be working late tonight.

We need to complete the requirements for the client.

WEBVTT FILE

Alright.

How much longer until you finish that case?

They haven't released a date for the hearing.

WEBVTT FILE

They haven't released a date for the hearing.

Then why don't you just use your connections to expedite the process?

You know I don't do that.

WEBVTT FILE

But that's exactly what you did for Domeng.

Used your connections.

Pa, Matthew and I have something to say.

WEBVTT FILE

Pa, Matthew and I have something to say.

What is it?

We've been in a relationship since our review days.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm glad.

Finally, you're together.

I'm sure people will be glad as well.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm sure people will be glad as well.

Finally.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Until when should I continue my relationship with Mica?

WEBVTT FILE

Until when should I continue my relationship with Mica?

For as long as you can.

I also love Mica as a sister.

WEBVTT FILE

I also love Mica as a sister.

It hurts that I'm cheating on her.

WEBVTT FILE

Let her enjoy what you have now.

Eventually,

WEBVTT FILE

we will slowly,

let her fall out of love.

How about your wife?

WEBVTT FILE

How about your wife?

I'm not leaving Amanda.

Why?

WEBVTT FILE

Do you see all of this?

Everything I have, they came from Amanda, and her family.

WEBVTT FILE

Everything I have, they came from Amanda, and her family.

I would not attain this without her.

WEBVTT FILE

So you married her for money?

What do you know?

It's difficult to be like this during my time, Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

It's difficult to be like this during my time, Matthew.

We were treated as social scourge.

I would not be enjoying the good of life.

WEBVTT FILE

I would not be enjoying the good of life.

I'm sorry.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm just tired of hiding what we have.

WEBVTT FILE

I know it's exhausting but it's needed.

WEBVTT FILE

I know it's exhausting but it's needed.

WEBVTT FILE

I know it hurts, but we're together, aren't we?

WEBVTT FILE

Girls.

WEBVTT FILE

Girls.

What are you doing there?

It's late at night.

Sit down first.

You look too serious.

WEBVTT FILE

You look too serious.

What happened?

My daughter will say something.

Pa…

WEBVTT FILE

I'm pregnant.

What do you mean?

What else could it mean?

WEBVTT FILE

What else could it mean?

I'm pregnant, and you're the father!

You have no shame after all I did to you!

- This is what you'll do? - Robert!

WEBVTT FILE

- This is what you'll do? - Robert!

Stop it! Enough!

Stop it. We can't do anything about it!

WEBVTT FILE

What are you saying?

We will now arrange for their wedding.

WEBVTT FILE

We will now arrange for their wedding.

Wedding?

Wedding?

Wedding?

Yes, wedding.

WEBVTT FILE

Yes, wedding.

What do you think?

What do you want?

Our very first grandchild to become a bastard?

What will they say about our daughter?

That she's a flirt and got pregnant out of wedlock?

WEBVTT FILE

That she's a flirt and got pregnant out of wedlock?

You know what's worse?

That people would refer us as the messed family we are,

who's marrying their own children!

WEBVTT FILE

It's incest, Amanda!

Well, Robert,

that's better than other people saying bad things about your daughter.

Anyway, people know that Matthew's our adopted son.

WEBVTT FILE

Anyway, people know that Matthew's our adopted son.

Then we can say that we've fixed their marriage since they were young.

What's the problem?

WEBVTT FILE

- But Amanda— - My decision is final.

You can't break that.

Mica and Matthew will get married as soon as possible,

unless you have other reasons...

WEBVTT FILE

unless you have other reasons...

for them not to.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, talk to me, please.

Talk to me, please.

WEBVTT FILE

Talk to me, please.

Mica, I'm sorry.

I need space.

WEBVTT FILE

Is it okay? I'll get some air.

I need to think things clearly.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

You also went here.

What are you doing here?

WEBVTT FILE

You always ask that.

Am I prohibited from visiting your father's grave?

WEBVTT FILE

How about you?

What are you doing here?

I told Mica,

WEBVTT FILE

I just need space to clear my head.

I want to think peacefully and alone.

WEBVTT FILE

Do you want me to leave?

No, it's fine.

It's better that you're here.

WEBVTT FILE

What a mess we made.

WEBVTT FILE

I'm in love with you too.

WEBVTT FILE

The first time we met here,

you told me you love me.

WEBVTT FILE

Now I'm telling you, I love you too.

It's difficult but I can't help it.

WEBVTT FILE

It's difficult but I can't help it.

My heart cries out for you.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Mica!

WEBVTT FILE

Mica!

Mica!

Mica, please.

You're shameless!

Let me explain, please…

WEBVTT FILE

Let me explain, please…

Since when?

Since when have you been fooling us?

Let me explain.

You're so dirty!

WEBVTT FILE

You're so dirty!

You're disgusting!

I can't believe my own father is having an affair with my boyfriend!

WEBVTT FILE

I can't believe my own father is having an affair with my boyfriend!

I thought you became distant because you don't like me anymore.

All along, it's my father you like!

WEBVTT FILE

All along, it's my father you like!

You're so disgusting!

I didn't want to hurt you.

WEBVTT FILE

Fine! Let's discuss this.

WEBVTT FILE

Fine! Let's discuss this.

Who's better in bed?

Me, or papa?

Or is it like father, like daughter?

WEBVTT FILE

Or is it like father, like daughter?

Is that it?

Is that why you double-crossed us?

It's not like that.

I've always wanted to end our relationship but your Papa hindered me.

WEBVTT FILE

I've always wanted to end our relationship but your Papa hindered me.

He doesn't want you to get hurt.

Wow!

Wow! I need to thank you for being concerned with my feelings!

WEBVTT FILE

Wow! I need to thank you for being concerned with my feelings!

- Please… I'm sorry. - You're filthy.

I can't hide my true feelings.

WEBVTT FILE

And who I really am.

You still did it. You hurt me!

WEBVTT FILE

You made a fool out of me all this time!

Matthew, you have to choose.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew, you have to choose.

Who do you love more?

Mica, please, don't make me do this.

I will, and you need to choose.

WEBVTT FILE

Papa, or the baby I'm carrying.

Mica…

I'll give you one last chance.

WEBVTT FILE

I'll give you one last chance.

I don't want to lose the father of my child.

Think about it until tomorrow.

Please…

WEBVTT FILE

Please…

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

I'm so stupid.

WEBVTT FILE

- I'm so stupid. - Amanda.

Deep inside, I've known for so long.

WEBVTT FILE

I've noticed a lot.

I've seen a lot.

WEBVTT FILE

But I chose to dismiss them.

I chose not to put meanings of my own.

WEBVTT FILE

Every touch, every stare…

You don't look at me that way.

You don't even touch me that way!

WEBVTT FILE

I knew from the moment you asked me to marry you,

I knew you were just marrying me for my family's money.

I still chose to dismiss that.

WEBVTT FILE

I still chose to dismiss that.

I still chose to forget it, because I love you!

Even if I know, from the bottom of my heart, that you're gay,

WEBVTT FILE

Even if I know, from the bottom of my heart, that you're gay,

I still chose to love you!

I still chose you…

I still chose to have a family with you.

Because I thought I could change you.

WEBVTT FILE

Because I thought I could change you.

I thought your feelings would fade away.

I let your affair with Domeng slip away.

WEBVTT FILE

I let your affair with Domeng slip away.

Yes, I know your affair with Domeng.

You thought I didn't?

I feigned not knowing it.

WEBVTT FILE

I feigned not knowing it.

I still chose to forgive you.

WEBVTT FILE

I still chose to forgive you.

All because I love you!

I love you that much!

It's my choice to accept Matthew into our home.

Because I love you!

WEBVTT FILE

But to think you would go this low, to have an affair with a child you raised,

who happened to be your daughter's boyfriend, you're disgusting!

WEBVTT FILE

who happened to be your daughter's boyfriend, you're disgusting!

- I'm sorry. - You're disgusting!

- I'm sorry. - No! No!

WEBVTT FILE

- I'm sorry. - No! No!

I've been hiding these feelings, and what I really am.

WEBVTT FILE

I've been hiding these feelings, and what I really am.

I tried…

WEBVTT FILE

I tried…

Amanda, I tried to love you.

I tried to love you…

I tried to see you a certain way…

WEBVTT FILE

Feel you a certain way…

but I just can't!

I can't—

I can't change who I am.

Sorry. I'm sorry.

WEBVTT FILE

Sorry. I'm sorry.

No!

- No! No! - Sorry.

No!

No!

I don't need your apologies!

Right now, we're going to keep this as a secret…

WEBVTT FILE

Right now, we're going to keep this as a secret…

from everybody including every person in this house.

WEBVTT FILE

from everybody including every person in this house.

I won't let you ruin my name. Do you understand?

Stop it.

Do you understand?

- I can't pretend anymore. - No! No!

You will act like the perfect family man that you used to be.

WEBVTT FILE

You will act like the perfect family man that you used to be.

And I will bring Mica and Matthew…

WEBVTT FILE

And I will bring Mica and Matthew…

I'll arrange for their wedding in the States.

That's the right thing to do.

No one should see her pregnant.

Amanda.

- I'm sorry. - You can't change my mind.

WEBVTT FILE

- I'm sorry. - You can't change my mind.

Don't do this!

Amanda, please don't do this!

WEBVTT FILE

Amanda, please don't do this!

You can't do anything.

Amanda, please!

I don't give a damn about what you feel!

- My decision is final! - Sorry!

WEBVTT FILE

- My decision is final! - Sorry!

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Please forgive me.

What are you doing here?

I owe you so much. Please forgive me.

WEBVTT FILE

I took you in as my own son.

WEBVTT FILE

Even if I knew about Domeng's affair with Robert.

Even if you're Domeng's son...

WEBVTT FILE

the man I share my husband's heart with.

Auntie...

Can you imagine how painful that is?

WEBVTT FILE

Can you imagine how painful that is?

Please forgive me and my father.

You've always been my mother.

WEBVTT FILE

You've always been my mother.

I ask for your forgiveness.

I’m begging you.

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew…

I want to ask you one thing.

WEBVTT FILE

I want to ask you one thing.

Mica's happiness, and your baby.

Just that. Give that to me.

WEBVTT FILE

Marry her.

Forget about everything.

No one must know.

WEBVTT FILE

Live in another country. We can do that.

Just promise to forget my husband.

WEBVTT FILE

Just promise to forget my husband.

I promise, Auntie.

What matters most now is our baby.

WEBVTT FILE

What matters most now is our baby.

I will stand up for this.

WEBVTT FILE

I promise you.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

You wanted to talk to me?

WEBVTT FILE

You wanted to talk to me?

Mica asked me to choose between you and her with our baby.

WEBVTT FILE

Mica asked me to choose between you and her with our baby.

What did you say?

WEBVTT FILE

What did you say?

I wasn't able to answer.

She will wait until tomorrow.

WEBVTT FILE

Have you decided yet?

I have.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Matthew...

Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

Let's end this.

Let's end this…

WEBVTT FILE

Are you sure?

Is that your decision?

WEBVTT FILE

Is that your decision?

It is.

It's difficult but I need to.

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want my child to grow up like me without a father.

WEBVTT FILE

Wasn't I enough?

As a father, you did not.

WEBVTT FILE

As a father, you did not.

But we both know we didn't see each other like that.

WEBVTT FILE

But we both know we didn't see each other like that.

WEBVTT FILE

The funny thing is…

WEBVTT FILE

I thought of leaving everything just for you.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Do you truly love Mica?

WEBVTT FILE

That's not important now.

What's important is the welfare of our child.

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

WEBVTT FILE

Sir! Sir!

WEBVTT FILE

Sir! Sir!

Ma! Ma!

Papa!

WEBVTT FILE

Papa!

Ask for help!

Papa!

Papa!

WEBVTT FILE

Papa!

Ask for help!

WEBVTT FILE

To my Mica.

WEBVTT FILE

To my Mica.

I ask for your forgiveness and your mother's.

I don't know if you can still forgive me

but I need you to know that I never wanted to hurt you.

WEBVTT FILE

but I need you to know that I never wanted to hurt you.

I don't know how to explain it or where to start…

WEBVTT FILE

I don't know how to explain it or where to start…

but always remember

that you were the greatest thing that ever happened to me.

That is why it pains me the most that it's you I hurt immensely.

WEBVTT FILE

That is why it pains me the most that it's you I hurt immensely.

I tried to hide it.

I really did.

I hid who I really am.

I pushed myself to think I am otherwise.

WEBVTT FILE

I pushed myself to think I am otherwise.

We just can't prevent the truth and what our hearts feel.

It was never my plan to have an affair with Matthew.

WEBVTT FILE

It was never my plan to have an affair with Matthew.

Worry not, he chose you because he loves you.

It's not his fault.

WEBVTT FILE

It's not his fault.

Blame me for what happened to us.

It was all me.

WEBVTT FILE

It was all me.

He reminded me of Domeng so much.

I gave in to my feelings and did not think of you and your Mama.

WEBVTT FILE

I gave in to my feelings and did not think of you and your Mama.

I hope you could give Matthew a chance for the sake of your child.

Leaving you and your mother was one

WEBVTT FILE

Leaving you and your mother was one

of probably the hardest things that I needed to do.

Everything was a mess because of me.

I don't want you and your mother to get hurt because of me.

WEBVTT FILE

I don't want you and your mother to get hurt because of me.

Just always remember that your Papa always loves you.

You will always be in my heart.

WEBVTT FILE

You will always be in my heart.

Love...

Papa.

Forgive me.

WEBVTT FILE

Forgive me.

I will carry your love and understanding.

I love you and Mica so much.

WEBVTT FILE

I love you and Mica so much.

I hope you can forgive me.

Goodbye.
