In a freak mishap, Ranger 3 and its pilot, Captain William Buck Rogers,

are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life

support systems and returns Buck Rogers to Earth 500 years later.

bringing with it a mysterious message from another universe.

Buck and Dr. Hewer are faced with the task of deciphering

the message and understanding its hidden meaning.

Very unusual kind. When Princess Ardala learns of the mysterious orb,

she begins her own campaign to steal it from Earth.
