A group of complete strangers from across New Zealand have arrived
at this isolated lodge to play the game of a lifetime,
with the ultimate aim of winning up to $70,000.
Hidden amongst them, though, are the traitors who will each night
secretly murder their fellow players.
Eliminating from the game.
It's up to the surviving players to work out who the traitors are...
I really trust that guy.
I'm not making this up.
..and banish them.
See you in hell!
Because if a traitor remains undetected,
they take home all the money.
Previously.
I'm going to do it because I don't think
I'm going to get another opportunity.
A new traitor emerged...
Hey!
Alive!
We think someone's been...
..and quickly spun a web of deceit...
You're going to have to move like ten people against someone
that's really likable.
I'm trying to slow it down a bit just to see if it's stoppable.
..as a bitter feud between faithfuls...
I heard something lead me to you, Robbie.
What is that?
..put the truth to the test.
You said there was a traitor in our team.
Fili, I didn't say anything.
But one voice spoke above the rest.
Matt, I won't beat around the bush.
I am suspicious.
And the faithful banished another traitor.
- (all cheer) - See you in hell!
But how long will the celebrations last?
I think we need to murder...
- Keep them on the back foot. - Yes.
This feels mean.
- What? - What?
First time.
I'm shocked walking into breakfast because I'm the first one there.
It's the first time I've been the first one.
I still can't, like, fathom
that Matt Heath was a traitor.
Really?
He pulled the wool over the parts of my eyes that work,
which makes me concerned I don't know who the traitors are at all.
The... Yeah, the whole.
Just not understanding how things went.
Right.
I'm worried for everyone who had Matt's name on the slate
because they are all heading in the right direction, doing
a great job of playing this game.
- And did terribly. - And...
Ah!
- Show me the pastry. - (all cheer)
- Welcome. - Hello.
- Good to see you, buddy. - Croissants. Bread.
- And we've got strawberries. - Here we go.
It's a good little memory, thinking about that mischievous smile
that Matt kind of, like, busted out.
- Oh, yeah. - That is ingrained in my mind.
I feel so bad for Matt, but he was exhausted, pretending
to be something he wasn't.
Sorry, Matt, buddy, you're just not trader material.
People react are when they see their name up on...
(all exclaim, cheer)
Oh, this is my earliest arrival yet.
I still have suspicions about Julia. I don't know why.
And then there was the thing that Fili did
at the table last night.
He came and said that thing about Robbie,
and Robbie was adamant, 100% adamant,
no such words came close to exiting her mouth.
That got me close to writing Fili's name
on the board last night.
Because it was just such a wild card move.
It was the only time we've seen someone accuse someone of something
that they straight up deny.
That never happened, Robbie said,
I think Robbie is surely a faithful.
I'm a little bit convinced.
I think, like you, Sam, that's kind of...
- You think that's the what? - That she might be a faithful.
So if she's a faithful, though, that would that would confirm
that Fili has lied.
- And that leads us closer to... - Ah.
You're playing... You're the chess master.
You're, like, three steps ahead.
We will confirm I am not the chess master.
I've lost every game I've played.
Number one frustration is they don't know who the traitors are
and I'm bonding with them on that on a daily basis,
like 18 times a day.
(all cheer)
It's us.
Matt being banished,
I have to really think of a good way to use that to our advantage.
- I knew you'd be here. - Great to see you.
- Yeah. - How'd you know?
One way I can think of is to maybe see the idea that Colin
is the puppet master behind the traitors.
Sure that has to be one big guy who's like the puppet master.
Someone has to be, like, conducting the whole entire shebang.
Have that building in the back of everyone's minds
and have that leak through the groups.
(all cheer)
Oh, man, that was so nerve wracking.
Did you have a shield? Did you have a shield?
You guys didn't have it?
I didn't have it so Robbie must have had the shield.
Robbie's got the shield. No wonder why...
You know, after the round table, she was like this.
She was actually super...
- Ah! - Yeah.
Wow. So Robbie's got it.
Robbie was safe last time.
You know, I had that argument with Robbie.
There is a pattern of Robbie saying things she doesn't mean,
and then she, you know, magically forgets.
Oh, my gosh.
It was traitor talk.
Okay, so Robbie is definitely coming?
- Meaning it's Colin. - Robbie is definitely...
So Matt...that's some big...
That's some big names on there.
I mean, Brodie is a strong, obvious choice.
But we all agree that she's a strong, obvious choice,
which makes her maybe not the best choice for the traitors.
- Here we go doubling... - Yeah.
There's two sides every time.
You can look at it either way.
(all exclaim)
Oh.
Oh, no.
- Sorry. Just figuring out... - Yay.
Is it Brodie?
- Or Juzzie. - It's Brodie or Juzzie.
Or Juzz.
Robbie, you got the shield?
Yeah, I did.
- Hi. - Hello!
How did it feel to get it?
Even though I had the shield, I probably had my worst
night's sleep here.
We've lost Juzzie or Brodie but I'm happy you're here, buddy.
- Oh, my God. - Who's not here?
Brodie and Justine.
Okay, I'm just going to make this real quick.
I'm going to get a couple of things off my chest.
It was just something I wasn't landing on that felt
comfortable with me.
From day one, I have felt like it's been a bit of a beat up on me.
I am here 100% authentic, 100% faithful, 100% not a traitor.
I'm being judged for saying I'd kill for a drink, you know, like, I mean,
you're not focusing on so many other people, you know?
We're here to play a game.
I'm here to do it for the right reasons, for my family, to make
a difference to my life.
And I just feel beaten up on.
I feel for her because she feels like she's been picked on.
And it's not nice to feel that way,
but no one's doing it trying to be mean.
It's just genuine concerns or suspicions people
have and they've got to voice it.
You know, Vanda, you had 5 minutes worth the other night
and you cried and everyone left you alone.
- You know? I've had days of it. - Yeah.
No one can prove that they are a faithful until they stand
up and they've been banished and say, I'm a faithful or not, you know?
Robbie, I just wanted to say, you know, sometimes you just,
you know, slip of the tongue, and it means absolutely nothing.
I never said what you may have thought you heard.
- Yeah. - I've never said that.
And I didn't even think I said anything.
But that's...that's why I just wanted to hear some clarification.
And I think that, you know, I went about it wrong.
You know, I felt really bad and I just wanted
to keep on apologising.
But then I had to remind myself that, you know,
this is still a game.
I think the best way to describe how you've come up with everyone
is like you do these little social cues.
And because we're all on hyper alert.
That's me. I am...
I would make the worst traitor, apparently.
- Yeah, but that's...we're learning. - You know? But that's...
Maybe we're picking things up unreasonably.
And I think maybe she sometimes just doesn't filter her words enough.
Would you like some fruit?
Yes, please.
- She'd kill for some fruit. - I'd kill for some fruit.
Going to kill for some fruit.
I don't feel like it's resolved yet for me personally.
Can I borrow one of those?
I'm still keeping an eye on her.
The conflict between the faithful is extremely good for the traitors.
As long as there's conflict between the faithful,
we are going to be safe for much longer.
As much as I would like to seduce today,
I think we need to murder to just maintain...
- Keep them on the back foot. - Yes.
Right?
I think Brodie is like your prime target.
She runs the roost.
I don't disagree.
She has too much power, too much control of the game.
If she says one of our names tomorrow morning, we're done.
We're just done. That's unstoppable.
- She's the general. - Agreed.
Well, this feels mean.
It feels mean but we are murdering the strongest player in the game.
Oh, shit.
Oh, no.
I don't want to do it. I want to know what...
Oh, oh!
I understand why. I understand why.
Ruthless, hey?
I have a thought and you know
I could well, well, well, well, well be wrong,
but, but the way Brody threw herself up,
I thought, God, that is the fastest way to make herself a target
by going, I'm really good at this game, you know,
because I was like, "No, don't do that."
There was a little bit of hubris in there, guys, too, though,
because she was very much claiming it wasn't...
(raps on door)
Oh!
(all exclaim)
Brodie. Brodie's gone!
- Brodie's gone. - Brodie's been murdered.
Brodie's been murdered?
Oh, was it was between me and her?
Yeah.
I didn't realise I was last in.
It was really shit.
I hope that there wasn't disappointment that it was me
and not Brodie, and perhaps there was.
Oh, my God.
Brodie, Justine and I were great little trio and tight.
And yeah, it's...it's really, really sad.
Oh, man, what a shocker.
I just didn't expect that.
You know, I did.
If you're a traitor, you would look at her and go sensibly...
She's a ringleader. She's a ringleader.
She's... She's intelligent. And she is...
I'm going to really miss her so much.
Anyone who was super surprised to see Justine walked
through the door last at breakfast...
..isn't paying attention.
- But you trust a lot of people. - I trust a lot of people.
Yeah, that's right.
You feel lost. Oh.
Good morning.
Top of the morning to you.
Good morning.
I don't know about you, but I slept like a baby last night.
By that I mean I was awake every 2 hours hungry.
(all laugh)
Congrats to the faithfuls.
You're really getting the hang of this.
But the traitors wasted no time.
And after a quick head count, Brodie...
MIA.
- Wow. - No!
Now, one of you would have had a great night's sleep last night
after a trip to my armory.
That lucky soul will be fighting fit this morning.
In fact, you'll all need to be fighting fit.
Today's mission is going to be a barrel of laughs.
- Oh. - Fili.
It's an absolute corker.
I need Brodie for this one to help.
I'm so gutted by Brodie
because Brodie was my trusted person to go and talk to.
- Yeah, exactly right. - Now I'm like, I don't know!
I think that was the case for all of us.
Oh, yeah.
It's terrible that we've lost Brody, but we have to start
really seriously thinking about people we maybe had kind
of been pushing aside.
It would be like if you went, we'd just be...we would be so sad.
We'd just be... Because you're like our camp teddy bear.
- (all laugh) - Can I say something to you?
That is when you say to people, "Hey, great gameplay, hey, great plan,"
you know, to someone else,
they've thought you're putting an X on their backs
and you're upsetting people by doing that.
Brooke, stop congratulating people and saying, "This is you.
"You've done that."
Because other people are unsettled by it.
It is putting them in danger.
Yeah, sorry. I'm trying to be like a team person.
Yeah, but what you're doing is actually making someone do
a Brodie, you know?
See, the thing about this game is it's all the subtleties.
You've got to step forward, step back, step sideways.
We ended up getting her killed, right?
She got herself killed. You didn't... You didn't do it.
Your teeth. I just saw her...
A bit of Brodie's blood.
I don't know whether I'll survive because I might sidestep
into a trap door.
Tastes good.
I was trying to think who I thought the original three traitors were.
They were Matt and Lauren, obviously, and I think Vanda.
Neither occasion does she vote for the traitor.
And I was like...
- And also unknown entity, right? - Yeah.
And writes crime stories, thinks in a gamified way.
Is there anyone in this vehicle who has got, like, red or grey flags
flying for anyone else?
I think Dan. Again, quiet.
Dan is starting to get a little bit of spotlight.
So I immediately pick that up, divert everyone.
All of the seduction targets to me are the people in the background.
Yeah.
Justine, Fili, Dan, Sam, would all be so good.
But I say, listen, I'll pick up the conversation with Dan
and I make sure that Colin is aware that I'm going to do that
because during the mission and the rest of the day,
I'm going to try to get some alone time with Dan
to talk traitors strategy.
I haven't kicked it with Dan enough.
And I had a vibe with Dan from the first day.
Do you know what? I'm going against that vibe.
Dan has been rock solid with me.
I have no idea of anything anymore.
I don't even know who I am. I might be Robbie.
I might be a hairdresser from Christchurch.
I saw him when he voted Mike out.
He was literally gutted.
I haven't had any sleep.
I don't even know if my girlfriend is my girlfriend anymore.
My daughter's had two birthdays.
I don't know. I don't know.
Can I just say, I am so glad that strong man right here...
Oh, I beat you.
Dude, I heard you doing, like, 90 push-ups or something.
How many was it?
- Only 200. - 200!
I did seven this morning, and that's my record of all time.
- I knew it. - OK.
- Wow. - OK.
What are we doing here?
If there's an opportunity for me to get the shield today,
I'm gunning for it, bro.
Fili, I don't care if you got abs, I'm going to spear tackle the shit...
If it's barrels, I'm kicking you down.
This is like a Donkey Kong type situation.
I'm throwing you off the hill.
Players. Something truly terrible has happened.
My latest consignment of rouge has inadvertently been delivered
to the wrong place.
Quelle horreur.
I need you to get it to me tout suite.
The courier has dropped wine barrels all over the estate, all different
sizes, worth varying amounts of money.
Your job is to get as many barrels as you can to me in under 20
minutes, ensuring that the wine level stays above the white line
in the barrel.
The first three barrels to reach me in satisfactory condition
will entitle the carrier or carriers to a trip to my armory.
(all gasp)
No more than two players per barrel, which, if you play your cards right,
allows a total of six players into my armory.
OK.
The shield is so important to win today, I'm worried
that I could be taken out.
My game plan is win. Win, win, win, win, win.
Now, I'm going to warn you - and this will matter
more for some of you than others -
it is a bit of a hike.
However, you could quite possibly save yourself from murder.
Something to weigh up.
I want to win so badly because I need a shield
and I'm going to play my heart out in today's mission.
There is a potential $5,000 to add to your prize fund.
Not exactly chump change.
Remember, only a drip wastes a drop.
- Ready, set... - (honk!)
Let's do some planning. Let's do some planning, guys.
I suggest that we get two big guys on these
and get the bigger ones as we head up.
The greatest tragedy with this mission will be spilled wine.
I would not want wine to be the loser on the day.
- Three 750 should be the focus. - Yeah, yeah, of course.
I think we should get all of these and bring them... Wait, wait.
We should get all of these and bring them to just before the line.
And then when we get to the line, we should decide who has done
the best job and should get the money.
And how many we want to get across.
So don't the lines with them.
Wait. So no-one's crossing a line?
Don't cross the line.
Fili and I are scouting. Yes, Fili, go!
100 coming up!
Fili were sent ahead, so I passed 100. We ditched that.
Move it. Let's move it...
First 750 we found we picked it up.
- Ready. One, two, three. - Together. One...
Don't get me wrong, I like the mind games.
But throw me in the mud, make me run up the hill, carry something heavy.
I'm here for it.
- We've got a 750, by the way! - Come on, guys.
What would Brodie be saying?
She's dead. Shut up.
(all laugh)
They'd better be quick. Time is a-running out.
We're good. That's right. We're good.
Dan and I, we sit out and try to separate ourselves, and it gave us
a good conversation about what our strategy is next.
Now, the question is armoury, mate, because you and I want to get
in that armory.
Yeah.
The hottest thing in this game is it's nonstop, and it's impossible
to get time alone with Dan.
I don't mind Fili getting the armory, right?
Because they ain't getting murdered tonight.
Nice. Doing a good job.
"Who's going to get murdered tonight?" is the question.
- There's another 750 up here! - There's another 750!
We're going to take that 750.
No, no, no shit, OK, and we got to get to the armory.
We take it. We take it. We take it.
It's the best play for, for...
- For the team, OK. - For the team.
No-one's overtaken us and they've got hundreds.
And team MS coming up the rear.
Oh, I can make out some tiny, tiny specks humping wine.
Hey. Should we do a swap?
Oh, oh, right, guys. Careful, careful, careful.
The barrels are not steady, so spillage is not good.
Poor Henry does not want to lose his wine.
Quickly, my children.
I'm happy to run a bit of cover for you, man.
Because people...people are thinking you'd make the perfect seduction.
But the perfect seduction has to be someone like Vanda.
Someone like Robbie.
Take it a bit slow if you need.
- Can we swap? - Yeah, we'll swap it out.
This is us.
- You good with that? - Yep.
Fuck. That's a lot heavier.
Yeah. 350 is coming up.
Okay, slowly up the hill.
It is hard, but we're going to try to snake the armory,
so we are mark 10ing.
At the end, after you carry that far up the hill,
I was like, I really want to cross this line.
I'm fucking crossing that line. (pants)
Oh, there's another 750 up there.
What a machine.
Hold it, hold it.
Will they go over the line?
Wait, wait.
Do you want to wait or do you want to cross?
- Wait, wait, wait. - Can we cross the line?
- Cross the line, guys. - Thank you.
Congratulations, both of you.
You will both be visiting my armory, and I can confirm
you have not spilt a drop.
Let's go back.
I knew that I'm taking an armory spot,
that I need to get back in there and pull my weight and help
as much as possible.
That's not the finish, isn't it?
Yeah, that's the finish.
And Brooke and Dan will also be in the armory, and they also
appear to have not spilt a drop.
Who wants to grab a 750? Colin?
Are we taking them across or stacking them by the finish?
Fili is about to cross the line for the second time.
So it looks like Colin is going to be the last person
into the armory.
Congratulations.
Dylan and Kings.
Guys, guys, you've got to go back and get the other one.
Just across the line...
And yes, that counts.
- Congratulations. - Yeah.
However, neither of you will be in the armory.
Everyone crossed the line. What the hell?
Yeah, I need to...
- We were going to talk about it. - I just think it's too much.
I was working so hard.
We've agreed at the beginning that we're going to put the buckets
just before the end and then decide as a group who crosses the line,
who has, I guess, earned the right to earn a shield.
They've already gone across the line.
I don't understand, Sam, how you were going to choose it.
How are you going to choose it?
We were just going to talk about it democratically.
You've already done... You just ignored what I said.
Feeling a bit miffed about that, to say the least.
This is not primary school.
We don't hand out participation awards.
I'm so sorry. I love you, buddy, but you know, I'm here to win.
- That's not the finish, is it? - Yeah, that's the finish.
We've agreed at the beginning that we're going to put the bucket
just before the end and then decide as a group who crosses the line,
who has, I guess, earned the right to earn a shield.
They've already gone across the line. Just ignored what I said.
Feeling a bit miffed about that to say the least.
Just 5 minutes remain and there are still buckets that haven't
crossed the line.
Guys, there's more buckets. We need more people.
This must be expensive wine to be hand-delivered to Paul Henry.
They did, however, squander one opportunity in my armory.
Fili might have walked two over, which maybe gives him a double...
I don't even know how that works.
We had a plan to line all the barrels up...
- And then work it out - ..and then work it out.
And when we got there they were already being put over the line.
And you know what? Fili, he walked me over the line.
So I'm the fourth person for the armory.
Colin blamed Fili for walking across the line.
My observation is that he's an adult that can walk with his own legs.
The thing is, what we've learned now is...
- Yes. - ..all for one.
- Yeah. - And one for none.
Yeah, one for none.
It's three grand in the big ones.
- Just watch it doesn't spill. - Ooh.
They've actually done pretty well.
(cheering)
Just in time. Quick, quick.
Absolute monsters.
We are a great overall team.
We're doing a great job.
Let's give them a cheer! Come on!
- Can I get a hoorah? - Hoorah!
Slow. Slow and steady.
Just over a minute to go.
And congratulations.
Well done.
I don't know what happened to your plan.
- Yeah. - That was awesome, everybody.
What the fuck happened to my plan?
- Yeah. - The one thing I suggested.
That was... Sorry, guys, that was... I just...
I'm looking at Sam, and he is fired up.
Our sweet Sam has turned into, like, a very angry dude.
Who ended up getting it? Who were the... Who were the...
The first three buckets. It was me and Fili.
Yeah.
- But Dan and I... - And I don't know...
- Yeah. Six people. - Fuck...
Fili went across twice. So that's five people.
What the fuck, everyone?
One moment we were celebrating, and the next we were like screaming.
(all talk at once)
No, no, no, guys, guys. You're fitter.
You've got an advantage on this.
Just like if you're better at puzzles.
We're not going to stop the puzzling and get everyone to go, Wait, guys.
Let's get the puzzle in.
I also think that if we had everything here...
Look, we only just got it all over.
We wouldn't be having this conversation.
and not actually got the money.
I think we would have talked as a team and figured it out
rather than doing this.
I'm part of it.
I walked across that line.
I knew what I was doing.
In this game, we can't always play it like, okay,
we're all going to go to the finish line
then we're all going to discuss who's going to do it,
because I really don't know how we would have done that.
We all just worked our arse off.
If you guys can tell me right now in 2 seconds
how you would have chosen it, I'll stand aside.
Like I said, I'm happy to give you this.
I could have said we'd bring...
- Paper, rock, scissors. - No, no, no.
I honestly believe I could have got to the line before everybody else.
But I stopped at the bottom because I thought that was the goal.
So he doesn't get to go into the armory.
Yeah, yeah, I feel let down.
I had an opportunity to get that armory spot and I didn't.
Maybe that was a bad move on my part. I'm not sure yet.
It's the thing.
It's just a chance, it's just a chance for us to talk about it.
Yes. Yes.
Brooke, Brooke, I didn't hear you disagree to it.
That's the thing. That's the clincher for me.
This is pretty bad.
It's not good for me to be the subject of that kind
of negative energy.
I should try to calm it down.
If you guys are thinking that we're going to play a game here
and we're going to try to democratically sort out who wins
each of the missions' armories, you're crazy.
I felt like Brooke really shit the bed on that, hey?
He just didn't go with the plan that everyone had agreed to.
Well, thank God for that.
Supplies were really dwindling.
Now my cellar will be full.
And your prize fund has also had a healthy top up.
In fact, something that has not happened to date has just happened.
- You got all the money. - (all cheer)
A total of $5,000 has crossed the finish line.
And Dan, Anna, Colin, Brooke, Fili,
the five of you have won a visit to my armory.
Protection from murder at this point in the game.
How good would that be?
Of course, nothing can protect any of you from banishment,
and the bell for that is soon to toll.
Oh.
Wow.
- That was fun. - Good work, everyone.
Yeah, good work, everyone.
What a stitch up.
I firmly remember like a hoorah, let's go kind of thing.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
So that it was automatically forgotten was a bit shit.
Felt a little bit like Brooke was gaslighting you a little bit.
- Yeah, he was. - Right.
I understand 100%.
Before Brooke was clearly a faithful.
But now that...that sort of changes.
It's one of those weird things that he's done
that now makes me feel strange about him.
So hands up. Who's going to the armory?
No, they've already gone. That's why they're not here.
- Oh. - Five others.
So, Anna, Fili, Dan, Colin, Brooke
were the five that crossed the line first.
We could have had a sixth person in there as well, which...
I think it's evident that people are playing for themselves.
Wow.
I'm outspoken.
I'm worried that I could be murdered by the traitors.
So I want to have that level of protection and need the shield
so I can sleep peacefully tonight.
I really wanted that.
There's nothing in there.
I really wanted it. So I'm gutted.
Fili's ultra competitive in anything.
Yeah.
Fili's probably feeling nervous as well. Yeah.
I was a little bit selfish in today's mission.
And I feel like I'm going to have a big X on my back tonight.
Throwing a little prayer in there because I had more on the line
this time.
I actually got a bloody shield.
You know, I'm not safe here, but I know I can sleep well tonight.
Roundtable is going to be coming up very, very shortly.
And today's probably confused matters more than anything.
Yeah, does anyone... Does anyone have a...
I think we have to...
Honestly, we have to stick together. I think it's important for us.
To now separate us into a group of five and a group of seven.
So we now have the numerical advantage over those people
who we feel a little bit cheated by.
Hello, armory, my old friend.
Brooke really just took it into his own hands.
- If I was Brooke... - Ah! Oh, man.
..I would be quite nervous.
Crossing that line twice with two barrels.
I was a little bit selfish, but I actually found a shield.
And if I can get through the roundtable
tonight, I'm going to be sleeping like no worries in the world.
We've really lost a lot of cohesion in the group.
Everyone should have had a chance at that shield.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends.
Well done on today's mission.
For the first time, you took full advantage, making $5,000.
That is impressive.
It's added to the prize fund, bringing the grand total to $21,600.
I couldn't help but notice some disenchantment amongst your number
at today's mission.
The problem with preconceived plans is preconceived expectation.
And when you add human nature into the mix, things
can quickly go awry.
But perhaps, players,
you saw things differently to me.
The floor is yours.
Who would like to begin?
Oh, look, I'll start.
Well done, you know.
Well done. This was hard.
And we really collectively joined together, used our strengths
and our intelligence to team up.
And I saw lots of compassion for each other.
I was impressed.
So congratulations.
Let's be honest, though, it was a bit of a hot mess at the end.
There's a lot of shouting, a lot of accusations.
A lot of people thought they hadn't been heard.
A lot of people had different plans.
I don't think any mission is a huge success if there's heaps of shouting
and anger and disappointment at the end of it.
And I've taken...I've said I want to take the heat for it.
Even the sense that when Fili and Anna were approaching the line,
I said, "Go for it."
I want to apologize.
I really wish there were ways that I knew we were all safe tonight,
especially Sam and Kings and everyone that slogged
their guts out there.
I get that it's an advantage going to the armory.
Some of you got it. Some of us didn't.
But I think there's a sense of unfairness if we feel we've agreed
to do it one way.
And even though you feel you didn't agree to do that...
I've taken that. I should have spoken up and therefore I've taken
it on the nose.
- Yeah. - I messed up.
So all we... Let's not waste our time here.
Because we'll do better. We'll do better.
I'll try to be less selfish.
But I also want to say, guys, I don't need the charity
from you in a mission.
I don't think it's charity. I think it's...
If we all use that mentality the fastest of us would've just...
Yeah, we were would've just bolted.
No, I understand that. I said that as well.
Guys, I can't say it again. I stuffed up.
We needed to cooperate.
You know, I'm a competitive person.
I'm not going to blame anyone for trying to stay in the game.
Exactly.
You can sit there and say, listen, I wouldn't do it that way.
And the truth is, a bunch of you guys probably would have.
I don't think Brooke feels he's at risk in any way
of being banished.
I just want to remind you guys, we've got a limited amount of time
to actually figure out who traitors are.
He's certainly much louder than I am being at the moment.
I have no beef with people being competitive.
We are all here to win.
I just think there's something ugly about the way it was done.
And I was trying to open a platform.
Please, please, please, please.
Let's get our game play right.
We're talking around this a lot, and I'm just going to jump it forward
because Paul said we took full advantage of the challenge
and we did - we got all $5,000.
But what we didn't get was all six potential passes to the armory.
Yeah, that's right.
I've spoken to you, Fili, about what happened there
because you crossed the line twice and there was an opportunity
for someone else to have a slot to the armory.
And you've said you got confused by the rules
or you just caught up in the heat of the moment.
- It was the heat of the moment. - And that's...
He asked a question to Fili, so let Fili answer.
Yeah, so, you know, even crossing the line with the first barrel
was like a confusion, but the second one was like that...
That was like a no brainer.
And I was just in the heat of the game.
I saw Colin the nearest person there, and I saw another 750
and all I wanted to do was get as many buckets
over the line as possible.
I looked selfish, you know, going over twice, but, you know,
what was the...
And I think anyone that saw Fili on the day would know that that...
His motivation was just how do I get as much across the line?
All of our motivations. That's the thing. Come on.
The majority of noise seems to be coming out of Brooke.
I think you're a master communicator. Communicate.
There's a passion to make us communicate and to confuse us.
Again, I'll go back to the fact that Fili crossed the line twice,
and there's a part of me that's like,
it is in the traitors' interests to have fewer people in play
potentially holding the shield.
And the thing that happened at the roundtable last night,
which was wild and unexpected, that almost had me writing your name
down last night, those two things are weighing on me
as I sit here now.
Do you remember what you said to me when we went over the line
and you went...we went back?
No.
Think.
For a second.
I... To be honest....
You said you'd gone over twice. "Can I go to the armory twice?"
Yeah.
That...
And that knocks out other faithfuls.
I don't know what to say. I just feel like... Yeah.
Well, that's the thing. If you, you know...
This was what happened to Robbie.
Little mistakes. And it's...it's on you, man. You know?
All I can say is, if you choose me, I can guarantee I'm not a traitor.
And I'll say this again. You know
I spent a lot of time with you. Dude, I believe you.
Who are you going to vote for, Fili, today?
Robbie yesterday.
I don't know. I'm still suspicious about the name that I used yesterday.
I don't know.
Sure.
Robbie, I don't think you've said a word today. How are you...
Listen, I'm feeling just as confused as everyone.
I said what I had to say this morning, I think, to everyone.
It's like, hey, guys. It's just...
Let's play the game.
I think you're going to regret it if you put his name down.
Who's your read for, then?
I don't know, man. I have no idea.
The time for talk is over.
It's time to vote.
Who would you like to banish?
It's now time to reveal who you think is a traitor.
Fili, I'll start with you.
Like I said, I have no idea who I was going to choose tonight.
And...
No offense. Robbie.
Kings.
Um...
Love you, brother, but I put Fili up today.
I felt like being weird.
No worries, mate.
Vanda.
So, Fili, I had raised your name at the previous roundtable.
I'm standing by my original conviction.
So that's two votes for you, Fili.
And Robbie, one vote for you.
Colin, who did you vote for and why?
Well, today was a...an interesting day because we were
in a very competitive environment.
The only thing that caught me was the double armory.
I really hope you are a traitor.
Fili.
My friend.
Julia.
The way that I have been raised is that there's no man left behind.
And I'm really sorry, Fili, but you took that opportunity away
from lots of people that deserve that.
And whether or not that was a slip up, that's all I can go on.
Just with Colin's comments, I'm really sorry.
So four votes for you, Fili.
Robbie, one vote for you.
Justine, tell us why you chose this person.
This person does act really different during the day, then at the table.
But that's what I'm going on.
Fili, I will miss you smashing me at pool if you go.
But my vote's for you, buddy.
So the game is starting to turn against you, Fili.
Robbie.
Ultimately, after last night and today, I just don't trust
you 100% as a faithful.
I'm sorry.
Dan?
Uh, today's my turn to be the one who didn't get the memo.
I voted for you, Vanda.
You worked so hard in the challenge.
And then when were in the huddle, you weren't even part of the huddle.
Like, it just didn't mean anything to you.
So it just made me really suspicious.
I just had to stick with my integrity vote.
And that's where I'm at today.
So six votes for Fili.
One for Robbie. And Vanda, one vote for you.
Dylan, who did you vote for and why?
I think for me, what happened last night at the table nearly had me
write your name on the blackboard.
And what happened today, unfortunately, brought it back
to the slate.
So.
I hope you're a traitor.
We'll find out.
Anna?
I'll rip the band-aid off and then I'll tell you why.
Fili, sorry. It's not about today.
I have also found your composure in here is really different to outside.
That's just why I'm going with my gut.
Brooke.
I'm going to drop a really big bombshell here, guys.
I think Sam is not his faithful.
I know for sure this guy over here is faithful.
I honestly looked around the room.
I'm happy to not be a part of the pile-on. Boom.
We're at the round table. We're here to find traitors.
So he's essentially saying he has no clue.
That threw me. I found that weird. I don't like it.
Sam. Who did you vote for and why?
I voted for Fili. Yeah.
Sorry, buddy.
It's all the same reasons that everyone has been saying.
Oh, yeah.
Also, please be a traitor. Please.
Fili. Yeah.
So a tsunami of support for you to leave, Fili.
You are banished from the game.
Please come and join me.
Come on.
Fili, before you leave the game for good, please reveal
whether you're a faithful or a traitor.
I just want to let you guys know first before I reveal that.
It's good to see some support amongst the circle here.
And, you know... Choked up.
Yeah, I'm a faithful.
- Told you. - I'm sorry.
Good bye, Fili. It's time to leave the game.
No.
And so another one bites the dust.
A good night for the traitors that's about to get even better,
as they speculate on the fate of the remaining faithfuls.
I'll see you tomorrow at breakfast.
Or will I?
Uh.
We're going to miss having Fili around. Definitely.
He did things that were weird and we have to pick up on that.
And we did. But we just made a mistake.
Fuck.
Boy, oh, freaking boy.
Were we wrong.
Vanishing Fili is great for us.
It puts the light bang on Robbie.
It keeps the heat off us for at least another day.
And as the game kind of progresses, we can move in different ways
and come up with new strategies.
I'm glad someone is, like, happy. That was a hard day.
It was a hard day, but that didn't work out bad for us.
I think it was really close there.
People were pissed off with me and it started coming my way.
I think it didn't work out badly as far as you being a traitor.
I think people were just pissed off with you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's right.
But they... It fit perfectly within your character and persona
and your inability to kind of manage the chat, and it like, you know,
it actually helped you.
That's good to hear.
"Brooke would definitely do that because that's Brooke."
I think it's good.
Brooke does have a habit of speaking a lot.
Keeping that level of chat up as a traitor will be exhausting.
We're looking at, you know, do we choose to seduce?
Do we choose to murder? And who?
Who was the biggest danger to us?
- Justine. - Justine. Agree.
Justine is really the only person
that no one has ever tried to shade on.
And so this just moves a really strong player
out of the game really fast.
- Dylan. - I agree.
I think he's the smartest guy in the room.
He has the biggest chance of solving who the traitors are,
but he has the least influence over people because he isn't connecting.
Agreed. Agreed. Those are two really good points.
Yeah.
Okay, let's get on to seduction.
I'm going to throw a crazy, crazy spanner in the works.
I've got to pitch down on a pretty crazy idea here.
And so I'm hoping that he's being as adventurous as me.
This needs to be something creative.
Not just, like, simple, boom, murder.
Robbie.
Okay. So...
It's a... It's a giant risk.
But if she sees the writing on the wall, she accepts it,
we give her a solid conversation.
"This is your only way out.
"You're at least going to get to live as a traitor for a day."
Robbie is the perfect seduction.
It's almost sure that she's going to get voted out.
They'll all feel like, "Oh, mystery solved."
"Robbie, done. We got a traitor.
"She was the OG trader, right?"
The faithful will think they're geniuses, but they're one,
maybe two steps behind us.
Yeah.
So we sacrifice her, and then they have the numbers of traitors wrong.
Right.
The key in poker isn't necessarily to have the best cards.
In fact, that's not that important.
It's to have your opponent make mistakes.
Put them into situations where they make an error.
And that's what Dan and I are trying to do
to these poor, poor people at the moment.
No one, and I mean no one, is going to see this coming.
Next time.
That is taking way too long.
She has to say, yes.
A faithful grapples with destiny.
I'm pretty tempted to become a traitor.
The players set their sights on a new target.
I said from day one that Kings was on my question mark list.
Big time. He's always been on my radar.
My gut tells me that he's not faithful.
He's probably one of the most popular dudes here.
And the final fight for survival.
I just stop you right there. This game has been on since day one.
I believe I'm an asset to the team. That's how I feel.
