25th wedding anniversary,

and we were planning
a surprise party.

Except the surprise is on
us. They didn't show up.

that I wangled a weekend
pass, I borrowed a car, here I am.

But I had to remind
myself that you were real

and not just something
that I made up in my mind.

I'm very real.

I sure don't want to hear
about that young doctor

hanging around with you anymore.

No more cute nurses.

No, I think that you're
all that I can handle.
