For at that very moment,

a Robot was headed to Planet Earth...

a Robot programmed to do one thing...

- He was the Baby Robot from outer space!

- Get ready, Planet Earth,

because you're all about to become

cute little babies!

That Robot made Stripes baby.

Look, Crusher, we babies.

Something's turning all our friends into babies.

It's some kind of Baby Robot from outer space.

- Thanks to me, Planet Earth will soon become Planet Baby.

- Yeah, and make everyone big again.

I'm gonna need some special upgrades.

Time to become... Special Mission Blaze!

- Check it out.

These are Blaze's Special Mission upgrades.

This button activates ice blaster mode.

- With an ice blaster, I can make super slippery ice.

Woo-hoo!

- All right!

- This button turns on force shield mode.

- With a force shield,

I can block whatever comes our way.

- This last button activates smashing hammer mode.

- My hammer's got the power to smash through anything.

- Woo-hoo! - Yeah!

- OK, babies, you stay here and play till we get back.

- We're gonna go stop that Baby Robot.

Then we'll have the power to make everyone big again.

- Yeehaw! - Woo-hoo!

No one can stop me from turning everyone in Axle City

into babies.

- [gasps] Special Mission Blaze?

- That's right.

And I'm gonna put an end to your plans.

- Oh, yeah?

Well, if you want to catch me,

you'll have to get past seven Giant Bumper Bottles.

[laughing]

- Whoa!

[bottles babbling]

- Oh, man.

How are we gonna get past seven Giant Bumper Bottles?

- Hey, I've got an idea.

What if we make the ground slippery

so the bottles go sliding away? - Yeah.

We can use one of my Special Mission upgrades

to help us.

Remember, this button gives Blaze a slippery ice blaster.

This button gives him a force shield.

And this one gives him a smashing hammer.

To make the Bumper Bottles slip and slide,

which button should we press?

The ice blaster button. Right!

- Now let's go make some ice.

- Look out, Blaze.

Two Bumper Bottles headed this way.

- Ice blast!

- It worked. They slipped on the ice.

- Yeah!

-Now let's use subtraction to figure out

how many Bumper Bottles are still out there.

- Yeah, subtraction is when you take things away

and figure out how many are left.

- There were seven Bumper Bottles

and two slipped on the ice.

How many are left?

Five, yeah.

- 7 take away 2 equals 5.

- Get ready.

More Bumper Bottles heading this way.

Ice blast!

[bottles babbling]

- Woo-hoo!

- We got rid of four more bottles.

- Check it out.

There were 5 Bumper Bottles.

And now, 4 are gone.

How many are left?

- 1, yeah!

5 take away 4 equals 1.

- Hmm, I wonder where that one last bottle could be.

[bottle babbling]

- [gasps] Blaze, behind you.

- Whoa!

- Woo, we did it.

- Yeah, nothing's gonna stop us

[babies babbling and laughing]

[alarm rings]

- Ooh, alarm.

That means it's nap time.

- Nap time!

- Mm! I don't wanna take a nap.

I want to play on the slide.

- But Crusher, it's nap time.

- I'm big Crusher.

I'm not tired. [yawns]

- [giggles] Nighty night, Crusher.

- [laughs] More babies coming up.

Oh! I've got to stop him.

[laughing]

They may look small now, but just you wait.

These are Get Bigger Blocks. [laughs]

- Blaze, watch out.

- Whoa.

- Uh-oh, it's a Get Bigger Block.

- How are we gonna get past it?

- Hey, I know.

What if we use one of our Special Mission modes

to smash them away?

- Yeah.

Remember, Blaze has three new powers we can use.

- This button gives him a slippery ice blaster.

This button gives him a force shield.

And this button gives him a smashing hammer.

- To smash the blocks, which button should we press?

The smashing hammer button, right.

When you see a block coming, say "block."

- Crusher, bottle time!

- Crusher, babies no eat pizza.

- [laughing]

More babies.

- Ooh! [giggles]

- That blast from the Robot's baby ray

almost turned us into babies.

- How are we gonna stop him?

What if we block those blasts

with one of our Special Mission modes?

- Yeah. To block the baby ray,

should we use the slippery ice blaster,

the force shield, or the smashing hammer?

The force shield, right.

- Not giving up, eh, Special Mission Blaze?

Well, let's see what you think about

[laughing]

- Quick, let's use subtraction to see if we blocked them all.

- The Robot launched 5 blasts.

And we just knocked away 3 of them

with our force shield.

- 5 take away 3 equals this many.

What number is this?

There are 2 blasts left.

- Not for long.

1, 2!

- Woo-hoo! - Nice going, Blaze.

- Oh!

Well, if that didn't turn Blaze into a baby,

then this will!

It's 7 blasts from my baby ray. [laughs]

- Force shield power!

- Check it out.

There were 7 blasts.

- But we blocked 4 of them with our force shield.

- Yeah. - Good going, Blaze!

- Oh!

This is my last chance.

I've got to turn Blaze into a baby

with 10 blasts from my baby ray!

[laughs]

- And we blocked six of them.

- Yay! - Yeah, all right.

- Oh, I give up.

I'm getting off of this planet

and going back to outer space!

[rockets blasting]

- Hey, look.

The Baby Robot has a big button on his back.

- Yeah, that must be the button to make

all the babies big again.

- But we've got to press it fast

before the Robot gets back to outer space.

- It's time to use Special Mission Blazing Speed.

[exciting music]

To give me blazing speed, say, "let's blaze!"

[musical car horn honking] - Woo-hoo!

[button beeps] - Huh?

[whimpering]

- All right!

- We did it!

- Ooh!

Gee, that feels much better.

Thank you, Special Mission Blaze.

- Look, the Baby Robot's been reprogrammed.

- Now, instead of turning everyone into babies,

I feel like doing this:

making everyone big again.

- All right! - Yeah!

- Come on. [giggles]

- And so it was that all the Monster Machines

who had been turned into babies

were changed back again.

The Baby Robot was now a make-everyone-big Robot.

Axle City was back to normal.

And as for Blaze and his pals,

why, they had a brand new friend.

- Whee!

- A Robot friend from outer space.
