should be streamlined.

There's no need to overthink
what you're shooting.

Your main job is often to reflect

a mood in a particular situation.

You're quickly telling a mini-story

so you must keep your direction simple.

One quick tip while
shooting B roll with talent.

Let them have real conversations.

If you actors stage a conversation,

their body language might look fake

and show up in your frame.

Let them talk to each other
and the performance will fade

into the scene and not distract
from your B roll's purpose.
