How did we meet? Well, I was doing her mum's roof,

and I really, really needed to go to the toilet.

So I knocked on the door,

and this beautiful woman answered the door, Millie.

And three years later, on a trip to Disney World,

Harley popped the question.

Since then, there have been break-ups...

I just appreciate everything she does for me and the kids.

But this young couple have come through it all.

And just six months after that proposal,

a final visit to the wedding venue is crucial.

And fear of a family fallout is keeping Harley awake.

So I just feel like that's gonna be on top of me as well.

final wedding dress fitting.

It's very pretty, isn't it? I knew this was the one.

But even where the dress is concerned,

things haven't exactly gone to plan.

So, the dress that I first tried on is the dress that I wanted.

Ancl then Harley lost his job,

which meant that we didn't have a massive amount of expense

to spend on the wedding.

The situation was not ideal,

but luckily, I found another dress that I loved.

It's really special, isn't it? When your...

when your daughters get married, when your children get married.

But, yeah, I can't wait to see N0el's reaction when he sees it.

It's quite emotional.

It doesn't seem five minutes since Millie was a baby.

'So, it's been quite a while since we've had a wedding in this house.'

So, nine years since I saw Sophie trying her dress on,

and all of the same emotions.

'I think when it's one of your daughters that's getting married,

'it's very special, isn't it?'

And that parental relationship is just as significant to Millie

as it is to Noel and Sue.

It's always important to have your mum's opinion on stuff, isn't it?

Ancl it's always nice to have your mum with you

for special things like this.

Three miles away, back at home, Harley is writing his wedding speech

and thinking about the important people in his life.

Namely his mum.

As a little kid, I've always wanted to be around my mum.

I've always been a mummy's boy.

I never used to leave her side, like.

Every time she went shopping, I'd always want to go shopping.

I'd always want to go out the house with her.

Before my sister and my clad passed away,

she'd always do stuff.

She was just, like, a very... loving mum, I guess.

But such tragic loss has had a profound impact.

When my sister passed away, it obviously hurt her.

It'd hurt any parent.

So I feel like when she died, I didn't have that support as much.

She'd help us. But, like, I just feel like

I lost my mum as well, when I lost my sister.

Like anyone who's suffered loss,

it means happy events can be challenging.

Millie doesn't think she's gonna come,

but I'm positive that she will come.

If Harley's mum doesn't come to the wedding, yeah,

I'm not sure how it's gonna be.

I think Harley having a perfect wedding

is just as important as me having a perfect wedding.

I've got all my family there,

so I think it is really important that Harley has his mum there.

I will do as much as I can to convince Harley's mum to come.

But there's also someone else

Harley will be relying on on his wedding day - his best man.

I'm writing about my best man,

just to say how much I appreciate what he used to do for us.

When my clad was really poorly, he'd always help out as much as he could.

He's very supportive. He's funny.

He'd be very good at a speech. That's what I'm looking forward to.

He's always there if we need someone to talk to, and that.

I give you my heart. My heart.

It's been nearly ten years since Sophie,

the oldest Radford daughter, got married.

Very emotional now.

I'm proud of them both.

I never want to experience that level of stress again.

Obviously, it's been stressful along the way, planning the wedding.

Harley has been so excited for, like, the last four weeks.

I just feel like it is important

and I seen it had been snowing and raining,

I knew instantly that I was not going outside at all.

Millie's daughter, Elodie, has come down with a fever.

I don't think she's well.

Yesterday morning, when I woke up, I thought,

I was all shivery and just really didn't feel great at all.

I just hope it's enough to get me through the clay.

I was a bit annoyed. I definitely did think

that I had escaped the illness that everybody else had got.

But when it came to Friday morning,

and I was starting to feel not quite right, I just thought,

"This is just typical timing,"

but I think you've just got to grit your teeth

and get on with it, haven't you?

But despite illness and the weather, the whole family is buzzing.

It is very exciting.

I couldn't sleep last night, actually.

First comes love,

second comes marriage.

Third comes the baby and the golden carriage.

He wasn't as fat as he is today, and I met Harley through friends.

It was brilliant, actually,

cos then, after that, we all connected. It was like brothers.

From growing up in an estate and...

marrying into, like, the world's biggest family,

it is crazy, like, yeah. It's amazing.

Yeah, it was heartbreaking, but I thought to myself,

"Don't let it bother me. I'm getting married."

I've got to have a smile on my face.

And with 90 guests waiting to watch this young couple get hitched...

...there's no time to dwell on what might have been.

Six months of planning have come down to this one moment.

a huge, significant moment in his life...

The first people who I'd want to thank in my speech

is obviously my in-laws,

because if it wasn't for Sue and Noel,

I don't think the wedding would've happened.

Even just without the wedding, they do a lot for us.

Ancl I couldn't thank 'em enough, like, honestly.

Harley and Millie have planned

a specially choreographed routine for their guests,

Against all the odds,

the first Radford wedding in a decade has been a triumph,

and now there's just one question on everyone's lips.

She's been with Jake for a while.

Yeah, we love our kids to bits,

but there are times where it is challenging.

You know, they test your patience.

Well, it's 35 if you include the grandkids.

Either way, it's a lot,

but most of them would turn up for the opening of an envelope.

It really has been a clay to remember. It's been lovely.

The stress, the expense, and everything

it's been getting to this point. Yeah.

It's been worth it all, hasn't it? Yeah, it has, yeah.

And, yeah, we've gained a son-in-law.
