and there has just been so much work put into this event.

Well, this is a celebrity pool tournament

that we plan to hopefully raise a lot of money for the community

to give back to charity.

Reggie pulled an amazing crowd together.

Everyone from Shaquille O'Neal and Vivica Fox and Paul Wall,

Terrell Owens,

and even the Black Widow, Jeanette Lee.

to try to rebuild the city that we all love.

Their houses are gone.

we find out they're actually not doing that great.

They've been living in a FEMA trailer for two and a half years.

I mean, I think it's important that you see it,

and it'll give you a better sense of

exactly what New Orleans is about right now.

[Khlo�] You should be our tour guide.

I'd love to be you guys' tour guide.

-Do you mind? Would you guys do that? -[mother] No, I really don't.

I just called to tell you that I got a call from Cici.

She's gonna come spend the weekend with us.

devastated.

It seems like every time I try to plan something,

something goes on.

There goes my weekend.

[Kourtney] There's so much history in this town.

-[Khlo�] Like, every place here is unique. -[girl] Yeah.

[Khlo�] LA, everything like, looks the same and it's like a mold.

[Kim] So, we're driving around in New Orleans,

and it's just really different for us and really interesting

to see things that we've never seen before.

[Kourtney] Is that true, that the X's on the doors and the number

It's like, how many people died or like if anybody was found.

[Rob] The houses are just crumbled into pieces.

It's literally just blocks and blocks and blocks

of just trash.

Whoa. Look at that house, you guys.

[Kim] I wanna go inside one.

[Kim] So, we get to the Ninth Ward,

and it looks like...

It looks like it did the day Katrina hit.

[mother] It took over two weeks for someone to get here.

-[Khlo�] Wow. -[mother] You know.

And they had no electricity.

[Kim] It's a complete ghost town.

Not a soul lives there.

All of the homes, if they haven't been completely destroyed,

look like old haunted houses.

[Kim] Oh, my gosh.

Wow.

[Kourtney] Look at the ceiling, how it fully just flew down.

[girl] This is similar to what ours looked like.

It's just really hard to believe that this is someone's home,

and these are someone's personal belongings

that are just blown all over the floor.

I was told our house, we only had a few shingles missing.

But, um, when we first got out of the cars

and got to the house, unlocked the door,

the door wouldn't open.

When we finally forced the door open,

the ceiling had caved in.

-[Kourtney] Is your roof fixed? -My roof is fixed.

-[Kourtney] OK. -And before the roof was fixed,

every time it rained, it rained in my house.

[Kim] Oh, my God.

I would say about 80 to 90% of everything we had, we lost.

Furnishings, clothing, pictures, everything.

[Kim and Khlo�] Wow.

Everything. It took three 40-yard cubic dumpsters

to pretty much haul 20 years of us away.

[Khlo�] They lost everything.

Now, they are living in a FEMA trailer,

which is on the other side of their home.

[Kourtney] So your trailer's just right out front?

-[Lisa] Mm-hmm! -[Khlo�] It's almost like,

torture. You see your home,

but you can't go in it, because there's nothing there.

-[Lisa] Protect yourself from the mud. -[girl] Watch out.

[Kim] The whole trailer is...

as big as probably my bedroom.

-Aww. -[Lisa] OK. Look around.

Right. So how long have you guys lived in here?

-[Lisa] Next month... -Mm-hmm?

[Lisa] ...it'll be two years.

-[Kourtney] Without living in a house. -Two years.

It's so odd that people aren't trying to like help.

[Khlo�] The whole day that we've been with this family,

they have not once complained,

not once did a "woe is me" or "we want help."

We really, really wanna do something for them.

She's, like, you know, a single mom with these three kids.

[Kim] We should help them get furniture.

we learned so much and we took so much home with us.

and they're not complaining that they're in this trailer

and have been living in a FEMA trailer for almost three years.

It just put everything in perspective

and it makes you realize that we're so blessed and so lucky

to have what we have.

Being in New Orleans and experiencing what we went through

and meeting this family has really helped my whole family remember

that we have good times, bad times,

we've been through so many ups and downs...
