this game fighting for myself.

I made an enemy out of Bananas.

I've been burned so many times

by so many people
close to me in this game.

But I was able to pull out wins
at very important times.

I really did come into this
and I just wanted to see

where did I fall
amongst the best?

Who am I in this group?

What am I going to learn
about myself?

And I am learning a lot

Checkpoint number five
is called Submerging Terror.

Our goal is to swim
to the checkpoint first

and then we'll understand
the rules of the game.

So, basically, we don't
really know anything

until we swim there,
and the goal is to get there

as quick as possible.

MICHELE:
I need to focus on

doing as well as I possibly can

and start winning some
of these checkpoints today.

Jenny had a bit of a mental
breakdown last night,

and she placed it in third
in the coin counting,

probably as a reflection
of that.

So, I need to make sure

that weakness that she's shown

is an opportunity for me

to pull into
that number one slot.

JORDAN: The start of day two
is ridiculously tough on me

because I am depleted.

I've been beasting these swims,

but it takes a lot of energy.

(gasps)

And we have to jump back in
and do it again

and again and again.

because I feel like
I'm putting in a good stroke

and Jordan's basically

But I'm hoping
that what I'm able to do

is to make up some of the ground

on the boat race
back to Sinister.

However, I'm really
gonna have to step it up

because Derek is literally
right next to me.

(grunts)

KYLAND:

As a fan of The Challenge,

competing in the final
against all people

who have been there before,

most of whom are actually
Challenge champions already,

I'm realizing that this is
just way harder than it looks.

There's no training
that compensates for experience.

I know this is going
to be another rough day.

Can we talk about
how much better

the women are than the men
in the final?

All these women
are extremely strong,

and I'm looking around, like,

why do I have to compete
against the girls?

We're crushing it.

fitness models

Fortunately, I've got
a little bit of a lead,

and try and catch my breath
as much as I can

before I start trying to hold it

that if I want to be

in the running for this at all,

so hard in my life.

I got to say, this is growth.

Because Derek, Bananas

and Jordan are still here

and I can row a boat
pretty well.

So, right now, I'm thinking
that I might have a chance

Here I am,

alone on an island,

all by myself.

Math has just never been

my strong suit, especially
against a guy like this.

This ain't a race anymore, so...

I'm gonna conserve
as much energy as I can

and, uh, really contemplate
my next move.

Ah.

If I have any shot to place,
I'm going to have

to get a first place
here at some point

in this godforsaken final.

I've never had
a challenge season

like this ever.

Early on in the game,

I was just put

in a very good situation
being on Era Two.

Even though I think

we had the most dysfunctional,

chaotic bunch, somehow,

when we showed up to challenges,

we just put it all together
and because of that,

I was able to really
fly under the radar

for a lot longer than I'm used
to be able to doing.

But eventually,
I had to hunker down

and take grenades
in the trenches.

But I've never been able
to do it

with, uh, angels on my shoulder.

The fact that I am here

with such strong female support,

that means the world to me.

I'm really gonna have
to step it up.

Come on!

JENNY:

Me and Jordan again

Like, this is the third time now
that him and I

are just swimming together,
going back to the boat.

First place is about to be won

and I'm so (bleep) glad
that I've done it.

hoping that I can secure

This really levels
the playing field.

and all I can think about is,

There's definitely a technique

to these underwater scooters

that I'm not privy to.

so that the karma vote

would pull me out
of this position.

MICHELE: We started this game
with 40 people,

40 legends of this game,

40 Challenge beasts.

It was not an easy journey
for any of us to get here.

We had to get through the eras.

Then it was getting
through the individual portion.

And now that I'm in the final,
I'm among

the best of the best.

And little old me, I just swam
my heart out and gave it my all.

I feel really, really proud.
I'm so proud.

And my family's gonna be like,
