in all the world!

and whoever wins the most sports,

wins the ultimate sports prize...

the gold medal!

Now let's meet the monster machines

competing for the gold medal.

- It's game time!

- It's the greatest sports stars in all the world!

[car horn honking] - And also... me!

Crusher! Sorry, everyone.

But I'm totally gonna win that gold medal.

[shouting]

- Hey, A.J., you and I love sports.

Why don't we try to win the gold medal?

- Yeah, we can do it! We'll be a team.

- Hold on, folks, it looks like there's

one last team competing for the gold medal.

[musical car horn honking]

[cheers and applause] - You the truck.

- Oh... I can't let Team Blaze win.

To get that gold medal, I'll have to play sports my way.

rocket ball!

- [yelps] - [shouts]

[both shouting]

- I think so, but that rocket ball

took us really, really far from the Monster Dome.

How are we gonna play in the Gold Medal Games now?

- Well, we may be far away, but we can't let that stop us.

We've gotta try to get back and win that gold medal!

and we never give up.

[engine revving]

for dodging booby traps.

We'll do gymnastics!

Check it out. We can do a gymnastics flip

over the rollers, swing through the spikes

and cartwheel past the snappers.

- Then we just repeat those moves

in the same order every time.

- Come on, Blaze. Let's go for it.

- Hiya, Crusher. I'm here coaching tennis

with my friend Wheelie Jean King.

He's teaching me to be the best tennis player I can be.

That makes a lot of sense, Coach.

- Hmm, it sounds like...snoring.

- Hubcaps! This cave is full

of sleeping bears. They must be hibernating.

- And, look! One of the bears

is blocking the way forward.

[all snoring]

- To get to the Gold Medal Games,

we need some way to lift that sleeping bear

and move him out of the way.

- I know! We can do a sport

to lift this bear. We'll do...weightlifting.

Weightlifting's a sport where you lift big, heavy things.

And to lift a bear, we can transform Blaze

into the ultimate weightlifting machine,

a forklift!

- Yeah, let's get building.

First, we need the boom arm.

That's the part of the forklift that moves up and down.

To make the boom arm, say, "Boom arm!"

Boom arm!

Next, we need the forks.

The forks slide underneath things,

so the forklift can pick them up.

To make the forks, say, "Forks!"

Forks!

Last, we need the hydraulic pistons.

Those give the forklift the force to pick things up.

To make the hydraulic pistons, say "Hydraulic pistons!"

Hydraulic pistons!

Oh, yeah!

I'm a forklift monster machine.

- All right. Let's get weightlifting.

Activating forklift.

♪ ♪

- Oh, yeah! - Whoo-hoo.

- Now, to lift this bear up off the ground,

I'm gonna need a force of five.

Which of these is the number five?

That one, yeah.

[grunting]

- Whoa, great weightlifting, Blaze.

- Sweet dreams, bear.

- [snoring]

- Watch out!

Another sleeping bear.

- This one's even bigger.

- To lift this bear, Blaze needs to lift

with a force of eight.

- Which of these is the number eight?

There it is!

- Check it out, only one more sleeping bear.

- And he's humongous.

To lift this last bear,

I'm gonna need the most force yet.

I need one more cheat to stop him.

a super sticky slime bot!

[laughing]

Looks like Blaze is in for a good slime.

[tires screeching] - Whoa!

- Where do you think it came from?

- I think I know where. It's that slime bot.

- [shouts]

If we get stuck in that sticky slime,

we'll never make it to the Gold Medal Games.

- Hey, I've got an idea.

We can use a sport to get past that slime bot.

We'll play...basketball!

- Yeah! If we throw our basketball

into that round hole in the slime bot, we can block

the hole and stop it from blasting anymore slime!

- Yeah!

Hop in, A.J. It's basketball time.

[upbeat music]

Now's our chance to block up the hole in that slime bot.

We just need to throw our basketball

with the right trajectory.

- Yeah, trajectory is the path something follows

when it's flying through the air.

- If I throw the ball like this,

it'll fly through the air and land here.

Will the ball go in the hole?

No, that's not far enough.

- [retching]

- Watch out, Blaze!

- Come on, let's try that again.

Check out this trajectory.

Now will the ball go in the hole?

Uh-uh. That's too far.

- [retching]

- Look out!

- Here, let's try this trajectory.

Now will the ball go in the hole?

Yes!

Okay, here goes.

[grunts]

- [blubbering]

- Yeah! - We stopped the slime bot.

Uh-oh, but listen.

It sounds like the Gold Medal Games

are about to start!

- If we're gonna make it in time,

we better use blazing speed.

To give me blazing speed say, "Let's blaze!"

- [laughing]

The Gold Medal Games are starting.

Now I can win a gold medal and nobody can stop me.

Not even... [musical car horn honking]

- You made it. - We're back.

- And we're ready to try for the gold.

- Well, now that everyone's here...
