\hYou can see stars and the moon and--

[jets booming]

Whoa! Look over there.

Spaceships.

[aliens laughing]

\h- I don’t believe it. Look who’s flying them.

Creatures with googly eyes \h\h\h\h\hand wiggly arms.

They must be space aliens.

aliens: Whoo!

[spaceships blasting]

[tires screeching] \h\h\h\h\hCome on.

Let’s say hello to them.

Hello, up there! \h\h\h- Yoo-hoo!

- Hey, aliens! \h- Down here.

- Look. Someone is calling us.

- Ooh. They’re over this way.

- Hi there, aliens.

\hMy name’s Blaze and this is A.J.

- Well, hello, Blaze and A.J. \h\h\h\hYou can all me Zork.

- I am Oola.

- Oh, and that’s Zuzu.

- Zuzu!

- Nice to meet you all.

- Where are you aliens headed?

- Behold!

We are headed to the starting line

for the biggest race in the galaxy.

- It’s the Great Space Race.

[sci-fi fanfare] \h\h\hall: Whoa.

- That race looks amazing.

- Sure would be cool to fly \h\h\h\h\h\h\hthrough outer space.

- Well, you should come \h\hbe in the race too.

- Yes.

Anyone in the galaxy can join.

- Zuzu!

- Just grab your spaceship and \hmeet us at the starting line.

\h\h\h\h\h- So long. [spaceships blasting]

- Zuzu!

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Oh, man. I wish we had a spaceship.

\h\h\h\h\h\hThen we could go be in the race with those aliens.

\h\h\h\h- Hey, I have an idea. Why don’t we build a spaceship?

\hI’ll be the world’s first spaceship monster machine.

[engine revving]

First, we’ll need to give \h\hour ship delta wings

to help with takeoff \h\h\h\hand landing.

To make the delta wings, \h\h\hsay "delta wings."

Delta wings!

[upbeat rock music]

Next, we need the fuel tanks.

They hold the fuel that gives \h\h\h\h\h\hus power to fly.

To make the fuel tanks, \h\h\hsay "fuel tanks."

Fuel tanks!

\h\hLast, we’ve gotta have rocket engines.

They burn up the fuel \h\hand blast it out,

which makes us fly really fast.

To make the rocket engines, \h\h\hsay "rocket engines."

\hRocket engines! [engine revving]

Oh, yeah!

\hI’m a spaceship monster machine.

[futuristic engine blast] \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Whoa!

- Hop in, Astronaut A.J., and prepare for blastoff.

[upbeat rock music]

[buttons beeping]

[rockets burning]

Space Race, here we come.

[rockets blasting]

[both cheering]

[sci-fi fanfare]

- Whoo-hoo! [laughing]

\h- Look. Our friends from Earth are here.

[laughing and cheering]

- Excellent spaceship.

- Glad you made it.

- Zuzu!

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Thanks. We’re glad to be here.

- Yeah. We’re so excited to be \h\h\hin the Great Space Race.

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h[discordant music] - Well, don’t get too excited,

because we all know who’s gonna \h\hbe winning the Space Race.

Me. Space Crusher!

- Wow. Crusher, you’re gonna be in the Space Race too?

\h\h\h\h\h- [scoffs] Of course I am.

I’m Space Crusher, the greatest \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hracer in the universe.

[laughs]

[boing]

[trumpet calls]

\h\h\h\h\h- Come on, everyone. Let’s get to the starting line.

[engines blasting, \h\hgroup laughing]

- Space Racers, start your \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hrocket engines.

[futuristic engine revving]

get set,

blast off!

- ♪ Rocket blast, \h\hspeed it up ♪

\h\h\h\h♪ Moving fast, engines are working ♪

♪ Navigate through the stars ♪

♪ Supercharged, energy surging ♪

- Whoa, check it out.

All the other racers are flying into that big glowing tunnel.

- Yeah. It’s a star tunnel.

We better hurry and catch up.

- Rocket engines, full speed ahead.

[sci-fi fanfare]

- [laughing]

\h\hWinning this Space Race is gonna be easier than I thought.

Nothing’s gonna slow me down.

Not even--Pickle? \h[radar beeping]

- Greetings, Space Crusher.

- Pickle, what are you doing in outer space?

- Well, I’m trying \hto find something

no one has ever found before:

the undiscovered space hamburgers.

- Space hamburgers?

Pickle, there aren’t any \h\hhamburgers in space.

Space is planets and stars,

not--hamburgers?

- Now that’s what I’d call \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\ha rare find.

[giggles]

[musical car horn honking]

- Oh, no. It’s Spaceship Blaze.

- Whoo-hoo!

- [warbles]

Oh, I can’t let him win \h\h\h\hthe Space Race.

I need an out-of-this-world \h\h\h\hcheat to stop him.

I need...

a space cowboy!

- Yee-haw!

[country western music]

[laughing] Yahoo!

- Whoa. I’m caught in some kind \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hof giant lasso.

- [laughing evilly] \h\h\h\h\h\hYeehaw!

- Oh, no. It’s a space cowboy.

And he’s slowing us down.

- Sorry, Blaze.

\hLooks like you’re at the end of your rope.

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h[cackles] ♪ Space Crusher! ♪

- I’ve gotta break out \hof this rope somehow.

\h\h- You can do it, Blaze. You just need more thrust.

Thrust is a force that pushes \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hyou forward.

Spaceship engines make thrust \h\h\h\h\h\hby burning up fuel

and blasting it out the back.

The bigger the blast, the more \hthrust pushes them forward.

\hSo if we can make a big enough blast,

\hwe’ll go forward with enough thrust

to break the cowboy’s rope.

- Hey-yaw! Yeehaw!

- Come on. Let’s try it.

\h\h\h\h\hLet’s increase our engine blast to five.

Count to five with us.

[upbeat rock music]

- Yeehaw!

- It’s working, Blaze.

\h\hThe cowboy’s rope is starting to break.

- Huh? Yeehaw.

- Now to get even more thrust,

\h\h\h\h\hlet’s increase our engine blast to nine.

Count to nine with us.

Start at five.

[upbeat rock music]

- You’re doing it, Blaze.

\h\h\hThe cowboy’s rope is breaking even more.

- Yee? Haw.

- We just need a little more \h\h\h\hthrust to break free.

\h\h\hHelp me increase our engine blast to 15.

Count to 15 with us. \h\h\h\h\hStart at 9.

[upbeat rock music]

[snapping]

- Yee!

- Whoo-hoo!

- We did it.

- That space cowboy couldn’t \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hstop us.

- Oh, hey, Crusher.

You’re just in time to see \h\hmy greatest discovery,

for I’m about to find

\htacos in space! [triumphant music]

- Tacos in space?

Pickle, that’s ridiculous.

Everybody knows that space \h\h\hhas comets and stars.

It doesn’t have--tacos?

[groans]

- [crunch] Mmm. Outer spicy.

[laughs]

- Yuck.

[rockets zooming] \h\hWhat’s that?

Oh, no. It’s those alien racers.

They’re ahead of me.

To get past ’em, I’ll have \h\hto do what I do better

than anyone in the universe:

cheat.

[laughs]

\h[beeps] - Oh, my.

My engine has been turned off.

\h\h\h\h\h\h[beep] - Oh, my. Mine too.

[beep] - Zuzu.

\h\h\h\h- [laughs] ♪ Space Crusher! ♪

\h- Without thrust from our engines,

\hwe can’t control where we’re go...

[all warbling]

[upbeat rock music]

Wait!

- We need help! \h\h\h\h- Zuzu!

- Oh, no. That sounds like \h\h\h\hour alien friends.

They must be inside these space clouds.

- But there are so many.

How are we gonna figure out \hwhich clouds they’re in?

\h\h\h\h\h\h- I know how. Activating space scanner.

[sci-fi fanfare]

Our space scanner will help us see inside those space clouds.

- Yoohoo! I’m over here.

- That sounds like Zork.

- Remember, Zork and his spaceship look like this.

Help us find him.

- Let’s check this cloud over here.

- Is that Zork?

No, that’s a balloon.

- Let’s check that cloud over there.

- Is that Zork?

Yeah! We found him.

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Hang on, Zork. We’re pulling you out of there.

- [cheering]

You saved me.

- All right.

- Blaze, I am over here.

- Hey, that sounds like Oola.

- Remember, Oola and her spaceship look like this.

Is that Oola?

No, that’s an umbrella.

- Let’s try this cloud.

- Is that Oola?

- Uh-uh, that’s a shoe.

- Quick, look in here.

- Is that Oola?

Yeah! There she is.

- Whee!

Hooray! You have located me.

Now there’s just one friend \h\h\h\h\h\hleft to rescue.

- Zuzu!

- Remember, Zuzu and her spaceship look like this.

- Let’s check over there.

- Is that Zuzu?

No, that’s a pizza.

Is that Zuzu?

Yeah! She’s right there.

- We got you, Zuzu.

- Zuzu!

[laughing and cheering]

- You have done it, \h\h\h\h\hBlaze and A.J.

- And now we just have to turn \h\h\h\h\hyour engines back on

so you can fly again.

- Zuzu!

[cheering]

\h\h\h\h- Whoa! Yeah! - We’re flying again.

- Great work, Astronaut A.J.

- Thanks, Blaze.

- Now, come on, friends.

It’s time to get back \h\h\h\hin this race.

- Engines to max thrust.

[futuristic engines revving, \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hall cheering]

[rock music]

[radar beeping]

\h- Interesting. Very interesting.

- Pickle, what are you still doing in outer space?

- Ah, space.

\hThe final frontier for finding bananas.

- Finding bananas? Pickle, there are no bananas in space.

- No bananas in space?

Are you sure?

- Of course I’m sure.

\hYou could search the whole universe

\h\hand you’d never even find one single--banana.

- Space bananas. [giggles]

Mmm. How appealing. \h\h\h\h\h[giggles]

- Yuck.

[musical car horn honking]

Oh, no. It can’t be.

[laughing and cheering]

\hIt’s Spaceship Blaze and those alien racers.

\h\hI’ve gotta find some way to cheat.

Something to stop them \h\h\honce and for all.

Something like--

\h\h\h- [snoring] - Space bighorns.

\h\h\h[laughs] This is great.

All I have to do is wake up \h\h\h\h\h\hthese bighorns,

and they’ll knock Blaze \h\h\hand those aliens

right out of the race.

[air horn blasts]

[grumbling]

[air horn blasts] \h\h\h\h\hHa-ha.

Rise and shine, bighorns. \h\hTime to get bopping.

♪ Space Crusher! ♪

[epic sci-fi music]

[spaceships zooming]

[bighorn bleats]

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Whoa. Something just bumped me.

[bighorns bleating]

- We, too, have been bumped.

- Zuzu.

- [laughing]

- [yelling] \h\h- Whoa!

- We’re all getting bumped by--

both: Space bighorns.

[bleating]

- Oh, man, this is bad.

- We cannot finish the race

if we cannot fly past the space bighorns.

- Zuzu.

\h\h\h\h- Don’t worry, aliens. We’ll get past those bighorns.

- Yeah. We just need \hto steer our ships

so the bighorns can’t bump us.

We need to use thrust.

both: Ah. \h- Zuzu.

- Right now, our engines are \h\h\h\h\h\h\hmaking a thrust

that pushes us forward,

but if we turn our engines,

the blast will create a thrust \h\hthat can push us up or down

or any direction we wanna go.

\h\h\h- [bleating] - Look out, Blaze.

That bighorn’s headed right for you.

- Quick, change thrust direction.

[annoyed bleating]

[confused bleating]

\h[cheering] - All right.

- Nice flying, Spaceship Blaze.

- Now come on, everyone. \h\h\h\h\h\h\hFollow me.

[laughing and cheering]

[upbeat music]

\h\h\h- Help me look for the other space bighorns

so we can steer past ’em.

When you see a space bighorn, \h\h\h\hsay "space bighorn."

- Change thrust direction.

- Keep a lookout.

There are still two more \h\h\hbighorns out there.

That’s where the finish line is.

[laughing]

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- [laughing] I’m gonna win the Space Race

and be the champion \hof the universe.

- Aw, we’ll never win the Great Space Race now.

- Zuzu.

- Hey, don’t give up, aliens.

There’s still a way we can \h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\hwin this race.

- But how?

- By flying with the most \hthrust we’ve ever had.

\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h- Yeah. We’ll use Blazing Speed.

[upbeat rock music]

[triumphant fanfare]

- Well, friends, the race may be over,

but we’ve still got our spaceships.
