Hey, glad you're here.

Me and my buddy A.J. are going for a drive,

and we-- - [crabs clamoring]

- Look, it's a bunch of little crabs.

- Hey there, crabs. Where you headed?

- Oh, hiya, Blaze.

- We're on our way to a really big race.

- A really big race?

- We don't see a race anywhere.

- That's because the race is under the water.

- Yeah. Check it out!

- [cheering] - Whoa!

There really is a race under the sea.

- Welcome, race fans!

Today, all the fastest swimmers in the ocean

are here to compete in the world's only race

across the bottom of the sea. [cheering]

Our racers will swim through shipwrecks

and coral reefs.

All the way to a finish line at a giant sandcastle.

It's the Deep Sea Grand Prix! [cheering]

- That looks like one incredible race.

- Sure is. - You can race, too.

- Yeah, everyone's welcome at the Deep Sea Grand prix.

- Come on, everybody. The race is gonna start soon.

- Bye, Blaze! - Hope to see you there.

- Man, I sure wish we could be in the Deep Sea Grand Prix.

- Hey, maybe we can.

We just have to turn me into an underwater vehicle.

- Yeah, and I know the perfect vehicle

for racing underwater:

a submarine!

- Come on. Let's get building.

First, we need a hull.

That's the body of the submarine.

To make the hull, say, "Hull."

Hull!

Next, we'll need a propeller

to make our submarine move fast through the water.

To build a propeller, say, "Propeller"!

Propeller!

Last, we need a ballast tank,

That's the part that makes the submarine

move up and down in the water.

To make the ballast tank, say, "Ballast tank"!

Ballast tank!

Whoo-hoo!

I'm a submarine monster machine!

- Wow! - Hop in, A.J.,

and give me some submarine speed!

Deep Sea Grand Prix, here we come!

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

[fanfare]

- Wow, isn't this exciting, Crusher?

We're gonna race in the Deep Sea Grand Prix!

- You mean we're gonna win the Deep Sea Grand Prix.

[laughs] None of these racers can move faster

than me and my submarine.

- What about that big red fish?

He looks pretty fast. - Big red fish?

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- It's Blaze, and he's a submarine.

- Oh! You made it!

- And boy do you look fast. - Thanks, Grabs.

Wish me luck. - Good luck!

- Hey, look, it's Blaze! - Welcome to the race.

- Oh, I can't believe he's gonna be in the race, too.

- Oh, it's okay, Crusher.

Submarine Blaze may be fast,

but you've got something he hasn't got.

- Yeah? What's that? - [beeps]

- Windshield wipers! [laughs]

Swish, swish, swish, swish. - [groans]

[fanfare] - Undersea racers,

on your marks, get set...

- Let's tell Blaze when it's time to tart racing.

When the light turns green, say, "Go!"

- Wow, isn't being under the sea amazing, Crusher?

I mean, just look at all these shipwrecks.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't have time

to look at shipwrecks.

I've got a race to win.

Now speed us up, pickle.

- Aye, aye, Crusher, sir.

I just have to find the go faster button.

Oh! Here it is.

- Pickle, that's not the go faster button.

It's some kind of big nose button.

- Ah, oopsie.

This must be the go faster button.

- No, that's the silly sunglasses button.

- So it is. That means the go faster button

must be right here.

Whoops. That's the giant mustache button.

Though may I say Crusher, you have never looked better.

- [groans]

[musical car horn honking]

- [gasps] Oh, no.

That sounds like...

- I gotta stop that guy,

and I know the perfect way to do it.

I'll cheat!

[laughs]

Say hello to my trapper fish.

- Trap, trap, trap, trap.

- [laughs] Blaze can't win the race

if he's trapped inside a trapper fish.

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - Blaze, watch out!

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. [munches]

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - Whoa!

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - [gasps]

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - Whoa!

Phew. That was close.

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - Trap, trap, trap, trap.

- Oh, man, there are so many trapper fish.

What do we do, Blaze?

- Hmm. We need some way to get past 'em,

and I've got an idea.

What if we float the trapper fish away?

- Yeah. When you put something in the water,

it either sinks down or floats up.

And we know something that always floats up in the water:

air!

If something gets filled up with enough air,

it'll float up in the water.

Then, if a trapper fish traps it,

it'll make the trapper fish float away, too.

- Hey, I bet something in this old shipwreck floats.

Look, I found a balloon and a rock.

Which do you think will float? The balloon or the rock?

Okay, let's test 'em and see.

The balloon is floating. Yeah!

That's because it's full of air.

- Quick, here come the trapper fish.

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - Let's give him the balloon.

- Trap, trap, trap, trap. - [grunts]

- [munches] - All right!

- It worked! He's floating away.

- Uh-oh, another trapper fish. - Trap, trap, trap, trap.

We've got to find something to float him away, too.

- Quick, let's look in here.

Hey, check it out.

I found a brick and a beach ball.

Which do you think will float?

The brick or the beach ball?

All right, let's find out.

The beach ball is floating.

- Yeah, beach balls are full of air, too.

Oh, trapper fish! - Trap, trap, trap, trap.

[munches] Ohh!

- Now there's just one trapper fish left.

- Hmm, I wonder

- Ahh!

Phew. - Blaze, look.

I bet something in here can float that trapper fish away.

- Let's see.

There's a tire tube and a spoon.

Which do you think will float?

Okay, let's find out.

- The tube is floating.

It must have lots of air inside.

Here you go, trapper fish. - Trap, trap--[munches]

Ohh, ohh! - Yah-hoo! We did it!

We got past the trapper fish.

Now let's hurry so we can catch up with the other racers.

- Yeah!

- Submarine, go!

- Don't worry, Captain Crusher,

I can make us go faster.

which is right here.

- Pickle! That's not the go faster button.

That's the floppy ears button.

- Oh! Then this must be the go faster button.

- Oh, Pickle, that's the huge hat button.

- Oops. Well, then this has to be the go faster button.

- [groans] [musical car horn honking]

- Oh, I can't let Submarine Blaze

get ahead of me now.

I--I need to find some way to cheat.

Aha! The race sign.

It says we're supposed to follow the track

that goes this way.

But if I turn the sign,

it'll tell Blaze to go the wrong way.

Then I'll win the race for sure! [laughs]

- Look, Blaze, a race sign.

- And it says we should go this way.

Come on!

Hmm, that's strange.

I don't see the other racers around here anywhere.

- Me neither. We must've made a wrong turn...

Look out! - Ohh! Whoa! Yikes!

- Oh, man. Those things are blasting

giant balls of seaweed.

- If we're gonna get back in the race,

we've gotta find some way past those seaweed blasters.

- Hi-ya! Huh! Ha! Yah! - Whoa!

Did you hear that?

- Yah! Wha-ha!

- Wow! - Huh! Ha!

- It's a sea star. - Hi-yah!

- And it looks like she knows karate.

- Huh! Ha! - Hey, Sea Star.

- Hi-yah! - Can your karate

help us get past those giant balls of seaweed?

- Huh, ah, ah, hi-ya! Ha-day!

- Whoa! Nice karate chop.

- Ah! - Come on, Sea Star,

time to chop our way outta here.

- Hi-yah! Hi-yah!

- Submarine go! - Yah!

- Look out, those blasters

are about to blast more seaweed.

- Let's count how many balls of seaweed are headed this way.

- Three chops, coming up! - Ha-hoo!

- Wha! - One!

Two! - Ahh!

- Three! Whoo-hoo! - Hi-yah!

- That was amazing!

- Get ready. There are more blasters up ahead.

Let's count how many seaweed balls

there are this time.

- It's chopping time!

- Hi-yah! Hi-yah! - One!

- Huh! - Two!

- Huh! - Five!

- Hey, look. We're almost back to the race track.

- But to get there, we'll have to make it past

these last seaweed blasters.

Count the seaweed with me.

Now let's get chopping!

- Ha-hi-yah! Hi-yah! - One!

- Hi-yah! - Two! Three!

Four! Five! - Hi-yah!

Six!

- All right! - Whoo! Yeah!

Thanks for your help, Sea Star.

- Yeah, you helped us get back in the race.

- Hi-yah! Ha! Ho! Ah-yah!

- Now come on, A.J.,

let's hurry so we can catch up to the other racers.

- Submarine, go! - Go!

- Hi-yah!

- [laughs] Move aside, guys.

- Ahh! - I'm winning this race.

♪ ♪

- Wow, Crusher. I think you're in first place.

- [scoffs] Of course I am.

I'm the fastest racer in the ocean.

But I could be even faster.

Pickle, hit the go faster button.

- You got it, Crusher, sir!

- No! That's the wacky wig button.

- Whoopsie. This must be the go faster button.

- Pickle, that's the goofy glasses button.

- Never fear. Here's the go faster button.

- [mumbles]

[musical car horn honking]

Oh, no! It's Blaze!

[spits] But Submarine Blaze can't win the race!

He can't, he can't, he can't!

- Shh, Crusher,

you should probably try and be a little quieter.

This tunnel is full of sleeping shark flowers.

And trust me, you do not wanna wake

a sleeping shark flower.

- [snoring] - Or do I? [laughs]

It's perfect. All I have to do is wake up these shark flowers

and they'll chomp Blaze right out of the race.

[horn blares]

Wakey, wakey, shark flowers!

Submarine Blaze is coming.

- [laughter] - [flowers chomping]

♪ ♪

- Blaze, look out! - [gasps]

[chomping]

- Hubcaps, those look like chomping shark flowers.

- Oh, man. They're everywhere, Blaze.

They're growing out of the floor and the ceiling.

♪ ♪

- The only way we're gonna get past those shark flowers

is to steer past them,

and we can do it with the power of floating.

- Yeah! Remember, things float

when they have enough air inside.

And a submarine has a special part

that can fill with air,

a ballast tank. - Yeah!

When air goes into the ballast tank,

it pushes the water out, and we float higher.

♪ ♪

Then, if we wanna sink lower,

we push the air out again

and let the water come back in.

- Come on. Let's use floating and sinking

to steer past those shark flowers.

How should we steer to get past them?

Should we go over or under them?

Over, yeah!

- Adding air to our ballast tank.

Ahh!

- Yeah! - We got past it!

- More shark flowers!

To get past them, should we go over or under them?

Under! - Getting rid of air

to sink under.

- Yeah! - Whoo-hoo!

- Shark flowers! Should we go over or under them?

Over! [chomping]

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- Look, there's the end of the tunnel.

- But to make it, we'll have to get past

those last shark flowers.

Should we go over or under them?

Under!

- Yeah! - Oh, yeah!

See you later, shark flowers.

[grumbling]

[laughter]

Blaze, look. It's Crusher's submarine.

There's the giant sandcastle.

That's the finish line to the Deep Sea Grand Prix.

If we don't hurry, Crusher's gonna get there first.

- Oh, no, he's not!

'Cause we've got submarine blazing speed!

To give us blazing speed, say, "Let's blaze!"

both: Let's blaze!

- Whoo-hoo-hoo! - Yah-ha-hey!

[both yelling]

[cheers and applause]

- We did it, Blaze! We won!

- Yeah! - Congratulations, Blaze!

- That was some race. - Thanks, little crabs.

- And for coming in first place,

look what you've won!

- Whoa! It's a trophy.

- That's right. It's the undersea trophy.
