In the criminal justice system

the people are represented by two
separate yet equally important groups,

the police who investigate crime

and the district attorneys
who prosecute the offenders.

These are their stories.

a month in the hospital.

That's how she got involved
with us, I handled her case.

Of course, New York doesn't
do executions anymore.

If there ever was a guy
who deserved the needle.

Is he still locked up?

A reasonable inference
can be drawn.

Only if the question of my

And in this case, the People did
investigate, and none was found.

Common sense says that the
perpetrator could not have assembled

this list of targets without
the assistance of Mr. Barnes.

These murders benefit only him.

murders don't help my case.

for real facts.
