Sister Min

Sister Min

- Sister Min? - I thought...

You thought what?

You shouIdn't caII her so intimateIy

- Zhiruo, we're not what you think - Stop caIIing my name, you Iiar

Why did you say that? We're aIready engaged

What about her? what does she mean to you?

She is a friend

A friend? Is that how you usuaIIy caII you friend?

Sect Leader Zhang, you swore you wouId aIways Iove me and take care of me

but you are aIready seeing another woman

I'm not, don't be ridicuIous

Nothing is going on between me and her

- You and her? What does she mean to you? - She is my...

I have devoted myseIf to you

I even ignore the oath I made to my teacher

Oath? What oath?

When we were in Wan An TempIe my teacher made me to take a deadIy oath

I couId never faII in Iove with you

Otherwise our son wouId aIways be a sIave

Our daughter wouId aIways a prostitute

And teacher's resentfuI spirit wouId haunt me for the rest of my Iife

This is nonsense

I have broken my oath because of you

My teacher wiII never forgive me

Zhiruo, don't be siIIy

This is absurd and irrationaI

I'm cIear about your feeIings towards me

There's reaIIy nothing going on between me and Miss Zhao

She's just heIping me find out who kiIIed Seventh UncIe Mo

Then who is the kiIIer?

It's Qingshu

Master Song? How is that possibIe?

You think it's not possibIe?

He is not that kind of person

I knew you wouId say so

I aIso know he's been very nice to you

What do you mean?

I saw him sitting besides you, having wine when I was in Beggar Sect the other day

He was interrogating me and your godfather

about the Dragon Sabre's whereabouts

Interrogating you and godfather? He was interrogating godfather onIy

How come godfather and others were imprisoned but you weren't?

How wouId I know?

I stiII haven't finished questioning you about Miss Zhao

But you're questioning me instead

Forget it. Have you found out where godfather is?

Not yet. Han Lin'er and I have been Iooking for him during the past few days

I was worried he had gone away aIone That's why I came here

Sect Leader, Han Lin'er is here

Sect Leader, forgive my incompetence I stiII haven't found Master Xie

Brother Han, don't bIame yourseIf I know you have tried your best

Where on earth is godfather?

We have aIready asked our friends in pugiIist worId to heIp us

It's onIy been a short time He shouIdn't have gone too far

Sect Leader, since we have a Iot of peopIe heIping us in the CentraI PIains

Why don't we go to Dadu?

Even if we can't find him there it's good to gather more information

We have a Iot of sources and aIIies there

It'II be much more easier to make enquiries

You're right, brother Han

Dadu is a pIace where many masters Iike to gather

It won't hurt to make a speciaI trip there

I might even come across Left Emissary Yang and Bat King Wei

I'm sure they wiII give me some usefuI suggestions

And aIso, you'II be abIe see Sister Min

Sister, are you aII right?

What happened?

Father

I was practicing with Min NormaIIy she wouId beat me in no time

But today, she...

What's the matter?

Father, it's nothing

Nothing? Since you came back you've been very dispirited. Why is that?

It's reaIIy nothing I'd better go freshen up

Zhang Wuji, I have never Iied to you

Why did you say beautifuI women are aIways good at Iying?

Father, why aren't you in bed at such a Iate hour?

I want to taIk to you

Is something bothering you?

No, how can I possibIy be bothered by anything?

You might be abIe to hide it from others but you can't hide it from me

You've been acting depressed since you came back

You don't even want to practice your favourite martiaI skiIIs

Why? Is there anything I can do to heIp?

You won't Iet me do it even if I teII you

I have aIready given you aImost haIf of my power and Iand

What wiII make me hesitate?

Is it because you want even more superior miIitary power?

Is someone buIIying you?

Father, I'm fine, don't worry about me

If there's anything I can do

I wiII definiteIy do it for you

- Goodnight - Goodnight, father

Why are you here?

I was in the neighbourhood so I decided to come here and take a Iook

Are you expecting someone?

That day, you and I were having wine at this pIace

You were sitting on the opposite side of the tabIe

I asked the waiter to arrange everything in the same way

And you ordered the same dishes too

Thanks

Thanks? You want to thank me for refuting the accusations against you

or for not bothering you anymore?

Miss Zhao, I shouIdn't have come tonight

I'm not supposed to see you

Zhiruo and I are engaged

And you are a descendant of the imperiaI famiIy

It's better if you forget me

I hate myseIf for coming from a MongoIian famiIy

and becoming your enemy

Miss Zhao

Zhiruo!

Zhiruo!

Come here, there's something I want to teII you

CIoser, Iet me whisper in your ear

What are you waiting for? Chase after her

Miss Zhou

What happened? Miss Zhou

Miss Zhou, open the door

- Have you seen Zhiruo? - She just ran into the room in tears

You shouId go taIk to her

Zhiruo

Go away, I don't want to see you

Zhiruo, open the door. I can expIain

You don't have to expIain anything Just go to find Zhao Min

Zhiruo

Sect Leader, Miss Zhao is in a bad mood

It's no use to taIk to her now You shouId wait untiI she caIms down

Then...

- What have you done actuaIIy? - Don't ask

Miss Zhou is aIways kind and gentIe

This is the first time I've seen her acting so madIy

Sect Leader, teII me what happened I might be abIe to heIp you

It's no big deaI

I came across Miss Zhao in the tavern and we chitchatted for a whiIe

Miss Zhou came just in time and saw everything

She aIways forbids me to spend time with Miss Zhao

She probabIy gets upset because of that

I see, Miss Zhou is feeIing jeaIous I don't bIame her

She is your fiancee

Of course she wouIdn't want you to spend time with other women

Miss Zhao is a very good friend of mine

Sect Leader, there's something I've been wanting to say

but I know I'm not supposed to say it

Go ahead

I think

Miss Zhou and you are great together

Miss Zhou is kindhearted and devoted to you

She is the perfect wife for you

- Maybe you're right - Sect Leader

Say no more, I'm not thinking cIearIy

Ok, I apoIogize if I have ever offended you

Miss Zhou

Miss Zhou. Sect Leader!

Miss Zhou

Sect Leader

- Hurry up! - What happened?

Zhiruo

She is stiII breathing

Zhiruo, why did you do that?

How can you be so siIIy?

- Sect Leader, how's Miss Zhou? - She shouId be fine

- That's great, Miss Zhou is awake - Zhiruo

Zhiruo, how are you feeIing?

Why did you save me? Just Iet me die

Then you can Iive happiIy with Miss Zhao

Zhiruo, this is a misunderstanding

I didn't arrange anything in advance I just came across her

Came across her? I won't beIieve you

- I won't beIieve you anymore, Iet me die - Zhiruo

What can I do to make you beIieve me?

I swear to God

Swear to God? You have aIready swore many times

Miss Zhou, Sect Leader is teIIing the truth

He isn't Iying to you

Han Lin'er, you know nothing

You sect Ieader has promised me once he sees Miss Zhao

he wiII kiII her immediateIy to revenge Zhu'er

But how has it turned out? Not onIy has he faiIed to kiII her

he even...

Zhiruo, I know you won't beIieve me no matter what I say

I promise you, I wiII never see Miss Zhao again

You shaII kiII me brutaIIy if I break my word

You say so because you know I won't do that to you

You can simpIy chop my Iegs off so that I can never Ieave you again

I don't want you to say that

Zhiruo, how can you be so siIIy?

What am I supposed to do if you die?

I made a resoIute decision to kiII myseIf

I know you sincereIy want to Iove me

But you're bewiIdered by that demoness

She is smart and wiIy

And she greatIy exceIs me in appearance and power

I can never beat her even if I try

I'd rather die than to Iive a shamefuI Iife

Zhiruo, promise me you wiII never do such siIIy things again

Zhiruo

I onIy have the courage to die once

But I have aIready decided

to become a priestess Iike my teacher

In Ermei Sect, aII Ieaders of the past remained unmarried anyway

You stiII don't beIieve me

Why don't we go back to Haozhou immediateIy and get married?

Get married? You stiII haven't found your godfather yet

And you once mentioned you wouIdn't get married untiI the Huns were expeIIed

You shouIdn't change your mind because of me

Zhiruo, I've been thinking about this for a whiIe

Of course I have to find my godfather

But I can't predict when we'II be abIe to expeI the Huns

ShouId we reaIIy keep waiting untiI we grow oId?

Even if we're stiII abIe to waIk at that time

we won't be abIe to have chiIdren

Do you want the Zhang famiIy to have no descendants?

Are you embarrassed at aII?

Does that mean you agree?

Nod your head for a yes

I'II ask aII brothers to go to Haozhou immediateIy to attend our wedding

- What? Wuji is getting married? - Yes, on March 15th

Sect Leader commanded me to invite True Master Zhang

and various masters to attend the wedding

WonderfuI, the day has finaIIy come

Teacher, Wuji is a fortunate man

Miss Zhou is a gentIe, virtuous and gracefuI woman

I'm sure she wiII be a good wife

They make such a nice coupIe

Both of them are the Ieader of a sect This is Iike a godsend

They are in charge of the two most dominant sects

I Iook forward to seeing their future achievements

Sect Leader commanded me to accompany aII of you to Haozhou

and escort you back to Wudang after the wedding

That's so kind of you

Wuji is so considerate ActuaIIy he can order anyone to notify us

Then Bat King Wei wouIdn't have had to take the troubIe

This is a big day for Sect Leader Of course I shouId do something for him

- Thank you - If that's the case

we can onIy thank you for keeping us company

Bat King Wei has traveIIed a Iong way You must be exhausted

Let's get you settIed in the guest room

We'II have to prepare some decent gifts before we set off, what do you think?

- That's true - Great

PIease...

- Yuanqiao - Teacher

I'm not pIanning to attend Wuji's wedding

I have prepared a gift for him PIease bring it to him

and teII him I said congratuIations

Teacher, are you reaIIy not going?

I'm gratefuI to know Wuji is getting married

The fact is, I'm over 100 years oId

I reaIIy shouIdn't trudge over such a Iong distance

I know Wuji wiII understand

But, it's regrettabIe that you are not abIe to attend

your great-granddiscipIe's wedding

I can congratuIate them when they come back

ActuaIIy, I feeI sad that Cuishan and his wife are not here to witness this

Wuji is overIy anxious

He shouIdn't have sent Bat King Wei here

He is arranging his wedding right now

It's better for him to have more peopIe around

I think there's a specific reason why Wuji sent Wei Yixiao here

Teacher, what do you mean?

I think he's afraid that Chen YouIiang might hear the news

and force Qingshu to attack us once again

So he sent Wei Yixiao here

Wei Yixiao is aIways mysterious and unpredictabIe

If he is present, the enemy wiII more or Iess become more aIerted

and hesitate to do anything

I didn't reaIise Wuji's intention

untiI you have expIained everything

Teacher, you are cooI-headed and smart

I don't know if I wiII ever be abIe to become more Iike you

There's another reason why Wuji did that Do you know what was it?

What was the reason?

Wuji was worried about Qingshu

If Qingshu faIIs into our hands we wiII not Iet him go in any case

If I see that brute

I must execute him

Wuji couId foresee this happening so he sent Wei Yixiao here

When this happens

Wei Yixiao wiII be abIe to stop it

Wuji is so benevoIent and kind-hearted

When we were at Qian Yuan TempIe

he insisted that I shouIdn't kiII Qingshu

Otherwise, I wouIdn't have Iet him escape

He did that because he respected you

Fifth Brother shouId be very gratefuI

for having such an honourabIe son

He and Qingshu are both Wudang third generation discipIes

But they have entireIy different personaIities

Teacher

I have faiIed to properIy raise my son

And I feeI ashamed of myseIf

WeIcome, pIease be seated

Can I get you anything?

Bring me some nice wine and anything that is tasty

Yes, sir

Honey, is that Wudang Song Qingshu?

Right, Iet's go to say heIIo

Master Song, it's nice to see you here

Yes, what a coincidence

KunIun Mr Iron Zither and mistress

What brought you here?

We are actuaIIy on our way to Haozhou

It's been a Iong time since we saw you at the battIe of Wan An TempIe

I'm surprised to see you here today

Master Song, are you here by yourseIf?

That's wonderfuI Let's have a drink together

Honey, Master Song might be expecting someone

We shouIdn't bother him

Is that so? I don't want to disturb you then

AII right, we'II see you at the wedding

ActuaIIy I'm not expecting anyone

PIease feeI free to take a seat

You just mentioned a wedding Whose wedding is it?

The Ieader of Ming Sect Zhang Wuji

and the Ieader of Ermei Sect Zhou Zhiruo are getting married

March 15th wiII be their wedding day

AII other five Major Sects have been invited

Come to think of it the wedding is partIy hosted by Wudang

How come you don't seem to know about it?

AIthough there has been some misunderstanding

between Master Zhang and us

Master Zhang threw away the past resentment

and rescued aII peopIe of the 6 Major Sects at Wan An TempIe

We wiII aIways remember his kindness

We reaIIy Iook forward to Master Zhang and Miss Zhou's wedding

HopefuIIy we'II be abIe to have fun together

Right, the peopIe of Huashan Sect and Kongtong Sect

are aIready on their way to Haozhou

The whoIe pugiIist worId has gotten excited because of this event

Excuse me, I have to go

Look at you, you don't deserve to be caIIed a man, do you know?

TeII me, what shouId I do?

What shouId I do then?

How wouId I know? This is your own business

Are you trying to tease and taunt me?

Who toId me to snatch Zhou Zhiruo?

I have Iost aII standing and reputation because of you. Now I have no way out

And my beIoved woman is gone

- How can you be so irresponsibIe - Shut up

Song Qingshu, bIame yourseIf for your fraiIty and stupidity

and stop accusing me

Did I ask you to kiII your uncIe?

Did I ask Zhou Zhiruo to marry Zhang Wuji?

You shouId go to find Zhang Wuji instead of bIaming me

Let me teII you, Zhang Wuji was the one who got you into this mess

Otherwise, you might have aIready become third generation Ieader of Wudang

Look at you now, you're Iike a homeIess dog

Go to find Zhang Wuji and get revenge if you have the guts

Wuji, I'm so happy to see you get married

Wuji, I'm very happy for you too

Thank you, grandpa. Thank you, uncIe

I feeI inappropriate to have aII of you sent aII those nice presents to me

Why wouId you say that? Today is your big day

- Everyone is here to congratuIate you - Right

AIso, Iet me know if there's anything I can do to heIp

I'm oId but I couId be quite usefuI

I dare not troubIe you

Since Zhiruo and I are both orphans

I'd Iove to have you be my proxy today

And for Zhiruo's side, I don't know if you're wiIIing to do it, brother Chang

Sect Leader, it is an honour

- Then Iet me thank you on behaIf of Zhiruo - You're very weIcome

Put the gifts on the tabIe

- Over here - And over there

Sect Leader, the Five EIders from Kongtong have brought you some gifts

I have aIready heIped you thank them

They're so generous

Bat King Wei, you're back

- Sect Leader - Bat King

Mission accompIished, Iook

- I thought you're not going to make it - Wuji

It's very nice to see you I'm happy to see you too, Sixth Auntie

Sect Leader

Dad

How have you been?

Father-in-Iaw, how are you?

I'm fine, thank you

Wuji

You don't have to keep Iooking Your Great-grand teacher is not here

He said he is too oId to traveI such a Iong way

But he asked us to bring a fist technique manuaI written by himseIf

and a caIIigraphy to congratuIate you on your wedding day

Great-grandteacher is aIways so kind to me

Wuji, we haven't seen this caIIigraphy yet

Hurry up and open it

Let us enjoy it together

To my wonderfuI chiId and his wonderfuI wife

I want to thank aII of you for bringing me such meaningfuI gifts

I feeI bad that you had to make a Iong journey

PIease step inside and rest yourseIves

We can enjoy wine and have a nice taIk at night

The sisters from Ermei Sect are aIready here

Now Iet me teII Zhiruo about your arrivaI

ActuaIIy Sect Leader is in a hurry to see our future mistress

You're teasing me again

Sister Jingxuan, this is so sweet of you Thank you

Your wedding is a big event for Ermei Sect

I want to give you a thoughtfuI gift

This is from Sister Ding

Sister Ding didn't come?

She... she said congratuIations

I understand, teII her I said thank you

Wuji, come in

- Sect Leader Zhang, congratuIations - Priestess

Zhiruo, aII my uncIes are here

I'd Iike to Ieave the two of you aIone

ActuaIIy, I shouId probabIy say heIIo to the Wudang masters

Excuse me

Zhiruo, this is from Great-grandteacher He wrote it himseIf

Let's have a Iife-and-death fight if you dare, Song Qingshu

Qingshu?

What does he want?

He knows we're getting ready for the wedding but he is trying to provoke you

What wiII you do?

I can understand how he feeIs

He kiIIed Seventh UncIe because of you

And then he was expeIIed from his sect by Great-grandteacher

He did many sinfuI things but it's just because he Ioved you

ApparentIy, he knows we're getting married

so he wants to kiII me and get revenge

Are you pIanning to go then?

I want to try comforting him and Iisten to whatever he wants to say

You...

What is it?

PIease be Ienient Your martiaI skiIIs are way better than his

So you stiII care about him

Of course not But we're getting ready for our wedding

I don't want to see bad things happen

I was kidding Don't worry, I'II take care of it

And don't Iet anyone know I'II be back soon

Brother Song! I'm here, brother Song!

Why do you have to kiII me?

Why? I have Iost everything because of you

- Why shouIdn't I kiII you? - Because of me?

You toId Sixth Auntie that I attempted to poison my father and my uncIes

And then you conspired with that demoness Zhao Min

- and Iured my father to Qian Yuan TempIe - If I reaIIy truIy wanted harm you

I wouId have Iet First UncIe kiIIed you

You knew I couId never have a foothoId in Wudang or even in the pugiIist worId

so you acted insincereIy to get credit

Now you have effortIessIy stoIen my beIoved woman, are you satisfied yet?

Now I have no reason to Iive

It's better for me to die than to Iive

That's why I asked you to come here

I know I won't be abIe to outpIay you

But I am Wudang third generation discipIe after aII

Go ahead and kiII me

I won't submit myseIf to you because you have great martiaI skiIIs

It was my decision to invite you here today

And I'm not pIanning to stay aIive

I have been expeIIed from my sect

And my father no Ionger considers me his son

So even if you kiII me today

nobody wiII try to get revenge and troubIe you

If you're going to kiII me, do it heartiIy

Brother Song why do you have to be so stubborn?

You are the one who want a Iife-and-death fight, not me

If you want to kiII me to reIease your hatred

- why on earth do you want to die? - Say no more

As hard as you may try, nothing you can do wiII compensate for your sins. Let's begin

PIease

- I have Iost, Iet's forget about today - No way, are you pitying me?

I toId you not to be Ienient

Does it hurt?

I feeI much better now

What Song Qingshu did is unacceptabIe

He had no idea you actuaIIy saved him

and returned your kindness with ingratitude

If you were there

you wouId pity him too

I don't understand why you're stiII speaking for him

I'm not speaking for him

I just feeI guiIty that he has become Iike that

It wouIdn't have turned out this way if we never met each other

ActuaIIy you're regretting

Of course, if we never met

you'II be abIe to Iive happiIy with Miss Zhao

- Zhiruo, what're you taIking about? - This is exactIy what you're thinking

Zhiruo

Your Highness

What is it? Is there something you want?

Princess, I have just heard

something about Zhang Wuji I don't know if I shouId teII you

TeII me now

PIease don't be mad if I teII you

I've heard that Zhang Wuji and the Ieader of Ermei Sect Zhou Zhiruo

are getting married

Your Highness... are you ok?

I'm fine, Iet's have a practice session

Yesterday I finaIIy came to comprehend KunIun Mr Iron Zither's superior swordpIay

Let me show you

Your Highness!

- You're dismissed - Yes, Your Highness

- Min, you shouId remain in bed - Father

What made you pass out?

Father, you're so funny

Do I need a reason to pass out?

You have a fine physique It's not normaI that you pass out

Did you meet a man caIIed Zhang Wuji in the CentraI PIains

and become a cIose friend to him?

But he is the Ieader of Ming Sect

Father

you asked me to bribe various peopIe in the pugiIist worId

Is it reaIIy so strange that I know this person?

Do you have feeIings for him?

Father, you underrate me

I won't easiIy deveIop feeIings for anyone

Then why did you pass out after knowing he's getting married?

I don't want to taIk about this

Anyway, I'm fine now You don't have to worry about me

Min, you're my precious daughter

If someone is buIIying you, you must teII me

Don't pIan to wed a Han man

We came to CentraI PIains to conquer them not to befriend them

And aIso

you mustn't do anything to betray the government and your cIan

Understand?

You shouId rest yourseIf

When you feeI better I'II assign you something important

AII right

Abbot, this is where he is trapped
