(laughs):

I hated the position
I was in tonight.

I think I literally
stopped breathing.

It was a complete shock.

Although I'm thankful
that I'm still here,

I hate that Pati
was voted off in that way,

especially when we have
people like Dennis

still hanging around just...

being just a little bit
of a snake.

NICK:
Tonight, with Pati voted out,

I did lose a number
in our alliance,

and as the group shrinks,

the-the votes are gonna
get harder, right?

And that's where you really
have to make sure

you have the numbers.

NICK:
Dusty has kind of made his way
into our alliance,

but at the same time,
the problem with Dusty

is he's a threat.

So I'm a little worried
right now.

Right now,
my mind's all over the place.

Anything can happen

100-mile journey to the summit,

the unforgiving terrain

has taken a steep toll
on the group.

DENNIS:
My God. I am sore.

MANU:
While some injuries sustained

are mere flesh wounds...

PUNKIN (Australian accent):
I have broken toenails, mate.

MANU:

-THERRON: Dennis.
-(bleep)

(shouts)

JENNYE:
I am hiding

a significant knee injury.

(shouts)

Holy (bleep).

MANU:
If the injuries slow
the group down,

it will jeopardize
their chances of making it

to the summit
by the 14-day deadline.

(wind whistling)

BECKYLEE:
So, Dusty, you're back in front?

-BECKYLEE: I think you're

DUSTY:
I've been chosen as a leader,

so I'm really concerned
about time at this point.

We have a checkpoint to make.

We're definitely not making

to keep everybody

figure it out along the way?

we're going mostly downhill.

-JEANNIE and PUNKIN: Day nine!

PUNKIN: Almost $100K each
that we're carrying around.

BECKYLEE: You can definitely
tell it's getting heavier.

MANU:
Starting at checkpoint
camp five,

the group now faces
a challenging seven-mile trek

to reach a breathtaking
alpine lake

that marks
their next checkpoint camp.

From there,
they must cross the lake

and attempt
a harrowing glacial traverse

in order to reach the final
three checkpoint camps

on their way to the summit.

The stress on their bodies
is taking a toll.

To make matters worse,

today they must navigate
steep downhill terrain,

cross a deep ravine via ropes,

and ascend a rigorous incline
to reach Lochnagar,

which marks checkpoint camp six.

DENNIS:
My God.

Ooh.

Pati got eliminated last night,

and that vote yesterday
easily could've been me.

Not everyone is as lucky as me.

I think every step I take,
I feel in my glutes.

So now I need
to build relationships

and do a lot of damage control,

because this next elimination...

...I think my name
is gonna get brought up,

and I don't want that to happen.

-JENNYE: Ooh.
-THERRON: Ooh, this one's

(Amy grunts)

(shouts)

DUSTY:
I felt so bad

because Amy came rolling down,

and I wasn't sure
if she was hurt.

JEANNIE:

It's a big hole.

-Ooh. Ooh!
-Whoa.

-NICK: Are you okay?
-PUNKIN: Are you okay?

AMY:
I'm okay. Yes.

-I just wanted a shortcut, bro.
-(laughs)

-(laughs)

I'm trying to make it
to final eight, Amy.

Oh, my gosh.

DUSTY:
I personally respect Amy a lot
because she started off slow,

and she really toughened up.

BECKYLEE:
I am so impressed that
you're not injured from that.

-(laughter)
-DENNIS: Did you fall?

(bird screeches)

BECKYLEE:
I think we're going

JENNYE:
On day two,

I fell and hurt my knee.

People know about my injury,

but what I don't think people
understand is how severe,

because I know that...

people can be, you know, hyenas.

So I need to keep it quiet.

PUNKIN:
We got to make sure
we watch for Jennye. Her knee.

Oh, yeah. Have you talked
to her about it recently?

She says she's fine.
She won't talk about it.

DENNIS:
With Jennye,

she has a knee injury.

People should look at Jennye
to get voted out,

but if I call her out on this,

I'm just backstabbing

and being more deceiving,

We got a little bit

there's no way to do this
without looking straight down."

-DENNIS: Whoa.

-JEANNIE: We got to look down.

DUSTY:
Oh, swell.

Oh, my God.

(sighs)

I never thought
it could get harder and harder.

I have to crawl and see heights.

Every other obstacle,

I closed my eyes,
and I don't think I'll be able

to close my eyes on this one.

I mean, holy geez,
this is insane.

(Dennis exhales)

(wind whistling)

Mentally, I'm in a great spot.
Physically, I'm not so good.

Okay, Dusty, let's go.

My toes are very bruised.

Again, the obstacles
take a long time,

and we know we need to make
checkpoint tonight,

because the conditions
are getting

a lot more treacherous.

MANU:
Given the precariousness
of this ravine crossing,

each group member
must navigate it alone,

leaving the weighty
responsibility

of transporting
the entire group's money...

...on the last person to cross.

So the last person
is responsible

for getting $900,000
across to the other side.

So, does anybody feel

especially comfortable
with handling the bags?

So, now we have to decide

who we want to send all this
money across to the other side.

I'm really struggling.

This game is so unpredictable,

and we've had several encounters
with the mountain's keeper.

She could kick someone
off the mountain

or reward someone's gameplay,

so there is more
that goes into this decision

than just picking who goes next

because the money is everything.

Ultimately, we have to decide

who we kind of trust
in this game.

DENNIS:
I-I would be fine with it.

-BECKYLEE: You'd be? Okay.
-DENNIS: Yeah.

I played this game
really hard from day one,

but at the point
we are right now,

I think it's really important
for my game

to show that I am a team player,

but man, if that mountain keeper

comes along
and there's an advantage,

bring it on.

-We just can't screw this up
and lose everything.
-DENNIS: Yeah.

It looks like a drop from here.

JENNYE:
Oh, Dennis.

Having someone you absolutely
100% know you can't trust

in charge of the money
is terrifying.

I don't know what happened,

but we need
to change the consensus.

AMY:

so I could get it over with,

but I don't have too much time
to get across this.

(grunts)

I could not look forward
because I had to see

where my hands were going.

I'm staring straight down
into this creek,

and I realize how high
I really am,

and just seeing nothing
but a straight fall.

This is not fun.

Guys, guys, look how
wobbly the rope is right now.

(chuckles) There's no way
I'm gonna make it.

-PUNKIN: Yep.

DENNIS:
That's gonna be really hard.

(Nick chuckles nervously)

I'm trying to be
in, like, a reverse V.

I realize there's no way
that I'm gonna be able

to make it all the way
to the other side

with this strategy.

NICK:
So, I drop to my knees,
get off my feet,

and kind of just shuffle
across this thing.

(panting)

The ropes are digging
into my legs,

and it's tough to keep going.

(whoops)

And you know it gets wobbly
in that middle.

(groans)

BECKYLEE:

NICK:
Awkward spot.

It's still wobbling
a little bit.

Yeah, he's still rolling.

(whoops)

you have to look down.

(panting)

-BECKYLEE: Good job! Whoo!

DENNIS:

Halfway, you realize your arms

are about to fall off.

One slip and you may not be

so I'm very worried
that not everyone

is gonna make it across
and we lose their money.

I was so afraid
I couldn't do it, but I did it.

any of these situations.

The very first obstacle,
when we're holding hands

But that rope and the cliff

and this cat crawl, too high.

It just feels like the end.

I didn't prepare myself
to jump off of cliffs

over and over again.

It makes me want to leave.

Damn, I feel like
I'm underestimating myself.

a lot of my fears.

I think Dennis is not

I had ovarian cancer.
