concerned C.T. checked in

on his ailing partner Diem.

(Diem) You should go out.

You should have fun.

(C.T.) Is that an order?

(Diem) Yeah, it's
a teammate order.

make her feel better,

she wants to be left alone.

Diem was feeling pretty sick

and so she wanted
to go to the doctor,

and I find out Diem got
rushed to the hospital.

So I go into panic mode

and all I wanna do is see her.

Okay, let's go there.

I'll meet her there right now.

How's she doing?

Let's go.

I'm waiting in Diem's bed

'cause she's been out all night,

and I got some
questions to ask her

about where she's been.

(moans), buying this
whole hospital thing.

If you ask me, it
sounds a little shady.

Next morning, I go to check
up on D, see how she's doing,

and I don't think
she's feeling so hot.

(Zach) Has anyone
heard about Diem yet?

(Woman) She's back.

(Zach) She's back?

(Woman) Is she okay?

(Sarah) Nothing's working
in her digestive system.

>>: I'm getting really worried

and I'm just hoping
that she can continue,

but at the end of the day,

her health is her
first priority.

>>: I'm gonna take her myself

and really see what's
really going on.

>>: Production's gonna take
Diem to the hospital.

I know Diem's gonna
be in good hands.

Everybody loves her here,

and they're gonna make
sure she gets the best care

that she needs.

But having a partner

to play the game for her.

This is your third
challenge on this season

of Battle of the Exes II.

(applause)

Today's challenge is
called On Again, Off Again.

(laughing)

As you can see, there's
a giant structure

with a 30-foot high zip line
all the way across the pond.

On that zip line,
there's a wheel

spinning you guys
out of control.

♪♪

(horn blowing)

(Bananas) Here we go!

>>: Momentum is
like, wooh, wooh.

(screaming)

>>: My hands, my
hands, my hands.

>>: Alright everybody,
today's challenge

is called On Again, Off Again.

As you can see, there's
a giant structure

with a 30-foot high zip line
all the way across the pond.

Your goal today,

hold onto that zip
line as long as you can

in order to get as
close to that red buoy,

jump off, swim
around the red buoy,

come back, and ring the bell.

♪♪

But the whole time
you're on that zip line,

there's a wheel spinning
you guys out of control.

It's a timed event.

Now the team with
the slowest time,

going straight to the dome.

No questions asked.

The team with the fastest time

will win today's challenge,
become the new power couple,

be safe from elimination,

and also be sending
any couple you want

to go against our losers.

>>: I'm finally getting
to relive my childhood

and swing from a fan,

but this fall's
gonna hurt a lot more

than the one on my bed.

>>: For you exes that
can't seem to let go,

perfect challenge for you.

(applause)

Alright, first things first.

Bananas and Nany, since you guys

were the last power couple,

you guys get to choose
the order today.

(applause)

>>: So let's do
John and Simone,

and then we'll do Jay and...

>>: Yeah.

>>: I am super nervous
that I'm gonna be

spinning over the
water, very high up,

where I could fall
and bust my face.

For modeling, this
is the money maker.

If I screw this
up, then it's over.

>>: You have more
upper body strength,

so I'm gonna wrap
my legs around you.

We're just trying to
figure out a strategy

to make sure that
we both can stay on

'til we really need to fall,

and not fall ahead of time.

>>: Hopefully,
we're not last,

and if we aren't last, then
hopefully we're not sent in.

>>: Alright guys, you ready?

>>: The momentum of me falling

And it's the most pathetic
I've ever looked in my life.

(yelling)

My only goal is
don't come in last.

So I stay right behind her,

just keep giving her motivation.

>>: I honestly don't really
listen when he's talking to me,

as horrible as that is,

but I'm trying to concentrate
and make it to the bell.

(Bananas) Look

(laughing)

(Sarah) Speed
demon in that water.

They are kinda like
the worst two teams.

I'm hoping one of them is
just a little bit worse

than Simone.

use their leg strength

so we can try to get
farther down the zip line.

We don't want last place,

so I have faith in my partner.

>>: We had the choice of either
putting my hand above the knot

or below the knot.

Being the more
experienced challenger,

I'm thinking my best
bet is to put one hand

above one knot and one
hand below the other knot.

>>: Aight, Wes and Theresa,
Adam and Brittany, ready?

>>: Yeah.

(horn blowing)

(Bananas) Here we go!

is swimming a lot better

a pretty big weakness,

but being too competitive

Your partner is
eating that food.

If you finish all the food in
the three minutes allotted,

you're good.

You get a point.

But if you don't
finish the food,
