and was taken to hospital.

Paris, about a year ago.

When she was in hospital, she picked up
with an old Scotswoman in the next bed.

A little later on, the two of them
started an old English tea room...

in Menton in the South of France -
you know, just for English visitors.

That's where I ran into her by accident.

We were doing a summer cruise, and the
ship I was in laid off there for a few days.

A couple of pals and I went ashore
for a cup of tea. There she was.

Is she there now?

And it made me sick, and that's a fact.

And I only hope to goodness we've got
guts enough to learn one lesson from this...

and we shall never find ourselves in a position
again where we have to appease anybody.

All you men ever think about is having guts
and being top dog and killing each other.
