Master Naofumi.

We're here!

Master Naofumi, look there!

They've changed the emblem to the Four Heroes Church's.

This kingdom is starting to change.

Yes. Now, we can finally get those class advancements we needed.

We need to thank Her Majesty, the Queen, for this.

The Queen has assigned us to guard the Dragon Hourglass.

Come, right this way.

We shall now conduct the class advancement ritual!

ADVANCED CLASSES UNLOCKED

ALLOW TARGETS TO SELECT CLASSES? YES

Is there some sort of problem?

Yes. Thanks to you, we were able to advance classes, but...

Is it over?

CLASS UP COMMENCED ALLOW THE TARGET TO CHOOSE?

YES

CLASSES ADVANCED

This is amazing!

Hey, Master...

What is it?

I couldn't pick what I wanted.

Me too. I couldn't pick one.

Hey, what does this mean?

That shouldn't...

They say that certain items

can influence class advancement.

I'll bet that this hair that Fitoria gave you did it.

No!

Fitoria?

The Filolial Queen?

I wish Your Majesty could have seen her.

She was truly a divine sight--

Melty.

Can you tell me more about her?

Yes.

In bird form, Fitoria was about as large as the Tyrant Dragon,

and she had sky-blue feathers.

Tell me more.

She had ornamental plumes like a crown on her head.

She allowed me to ride on her head, and it was like a dream come true!

Oh, how divine!

Oh, how I wish I could even once do the same!

-Like mother, like daughter. -It must have been so wonderful!

Excuse me.

So what did you call us here for?

I have invited the Four Heroes here for a conferral of awards.

You should've told me that beforehand.

I believed you would not come if I had told you.

However, the conferral is something of a ruse.

I have something to ask of the Heroes.

It is extremely important.

Sorry you couldn't advance classes the way you wanted.

No, that's all right.

I wanted you to choose for yourselves, so you'd be all right when I'm gone.

Shield Hero, please come this way.

See you later.

Master Naofumi...

I didn't think I'd see you again so soon, Filo.

Me too!

Oh, Melly, let's explore the castle together later!

Okay!

I'm hungry...

Where's Master?

Master Naofumi has an important meeting, so we should eat first.

Okay!

What is up with them?

If Master Naofumi were to go away...

The presence of filthy Demi-Humans ruins my liquor.

You may be part of the Shield Hero's party,

but don't let it get to your head!

Listen up, all of you!

Sir Itsuki is all we need! The other Heroes are unnecessary!

Especially that shameless Shield Hero!

Tell that useless master of yours to disappear before he gets hurt!

You hear?

Who is really going to get hurt?

I wonder.

What's the commotion?

A fight in the main hall!

That pie.

Who were you going to feed it to,

my dear sister?

I would like to begin this meeting,

but it appears you are not pleased to be here.

Did you really try to get along with them?

This again?

Did you try to clear their suspicions?

It's rare for us to come together.

Wouldn't it be a good time to talk to each other?

Go ahead and start.

You were all greatly burdened

in the incident involving the Three Heroes Church.

We would like to provide compensation for your efforts.

Soon, Cal Mira Island will enter a period of activation.

Really?

Will there be a bonus field in effect?

"Acceleration"?

A period of activation occurs once every ten years.

The experience earned in the area increases during the phenomenon.

You didn't even know that, Naofumi?

Excuse me.

Enter.

I was right not to attend the reception.

Mal...excuse me. Bitch attempted to poison the courses served to Sir Iwatani's party.

Lies! Myne--

I mean, Whore would never do that!

No, Malty--

Bitch has confessed under her slave seal.

No way...

Sir Kitamura, the slave seal is under your power as well.

You may confirm this yourself later.

Whatever, just keep the meeting going.

The incident was brought about by my own daughter,

and the quarrels between Heroes have certainly interfered with your levels.

And so, in order to maximize raising your levels on Cal Mira Island,

perhaps you could speak frankly and share information?

There's no need for that.

There isn't any information for me to share, anyway.

It's a waste of time.

These guys still haven't learned anything.

It seems you have not fully understood,

so I will be frank with my explanation.

As you are, in the next Wave,

apart from Sir Iwatani,

the Heroes will lose their lives.

What do you mean by that?

Precisely what the words mean.

In the most recent Wave, some Heroes were defeated.

I doubt that they could survive the next Wave.

In order to survive the Waves, the Heroes must join forces.

Please consider this meeting a step towards doing so.

The Queen's completely right on that,

but can these guys actually work as a team?

First, we have a question for Naofumi.

Where did you get that cheating-level shield?

What?

Just try saying it again!

I'll say it as many times as you want!

Shit Shield! Loser! Zero Hero!

If you don't like it, why don't you do something?

Come on! Bring it on!

I understand how you feel, but please be calm.

Yes. I am calm.

I will remain calm...

as I dispose of this trash.

Listen up.

There is no cheating shield.

I worked day after day to do what I do.

All right. I'll share all the information I know with you.

But in exchange,

you share your information first.

What should we do?

We have to share it with him.

Guess I have to.

First, the basics.

If you touch the same type of weapon

as your legendary weapon,

you can copy it using the Weapon Copy system.

I managed to obtain a powerful weapon at the start, which was very helpful.

Yes.

Hold on.

You only need to touch it?

Yes.

Naofumi, don't tell me you didn't--

Okay, continue.

Then if you acquire crafting skills and the recipe,

then feed materials to your weapon,

it will automatically craft items for you.

Hold on.

I've been crafting by hand--

What are you doing?

And then there's a teleport skill.

It lets you teleport to any location that you've registered at will.

Don't tell me you didn't know about that either.

What was all the work I put in for?

It seems you don't know much, so I'll tell you the secret to getting strong fast.

In this world,

the rarity of the weapon is all that matters.

So if you work on a rare weapon--

Don't lie.

A weapon is only as strong as its weapon level.

No!

The enhancements and bonus effects are what matter.

What are you saying?

Every weapon has a rarity--

No, they don't. There's no such thing.

I'm telling you, it's about enhancing the weapon!

Will you stop lying?

I'm not lying! Just read the help!

There's nothing about that in my help!

Everyone! Please stop--

You lying hypocrites!

-What was that? -What?

You're just trying to act all cool!

Draw your sword.

-This is pointless... -Sword? I'm the Spear!

Cut it out!

I'm the Bow--

You people...

Enough!

...aren't worth talking to!

I'm sorry.

They were insulting you, Master Naofumi,

so I...

I see.

It was basically the same for me.

Oh, right. Where's Filo?

She's sleeping in Melty's room tonight.

Those two really do get along well.

Yes, they do.

Getting along?

HELP

There's nothing in here about any "Weapon Copy."

But they didn't seem like they were lying.

If all of the weapon improvement methods they mentioned

were only for their own Cardinal Weapon?

Maybe I'll trust them on it.

WEAPON COPY UNLOCKED

It exists.

Where are the other Heroes?

They left ahead of you.

I was going to tell them what I discovered last night.

Guess I can do it later.

There is a good distance to the port where the ship is anchored.

Please do hurry, Sir Iwatani.

Then should we head out?

-Yes. -Okay!

Best of luck.

Thanks.

Naofumi!

Go out there and raise your level!

Did you want to go with them?

No.

There are things that I must do as well.

Hey, kid!

One heck of a trial the other day, wasn't it?

What? What are you doing?

WEAPON COPY: BLACK IRON SHIELD COPIED

BLACK IRON SHIELD RARITY: C LEVEL: 0

I did it.

Oh, no, you didn't!

You're going to put me out of business by doing that!

How did you do that?

Master, you're amazing!

No, he isn't!

He's just a criminal!

Sorry, mister.

Hey, wait! That one's expensive!

That one's rare!

Wait! That shield...

This one too!

Here's another!

Oh, just do whatever!

You done yet?

Yes. I'll pay you back for this someday.

Man... I'll put it on your tab.

Go make some good money on Cal Mira Island.

Yes.

SOUL EATER SHIELD +6

SOUL EATER SHIELD IMPROVED +6

SOUL EATER SHIELD IMPROVED RARITY INCREASED FROM R TO SR

Okay, guess that's enough.

Master Naofumi.

-Yes? -Would you mind if we took a detour?

Welcome home, Rifana.

So this was Raphtalia's village?

Did you bury them?

Yes.

We all buried them together.

Raphtalia...

Let's rebuild this village one day.

Yes.

Just like these two,

the survivors of this village must be out there somewhere.

If I can, I would like to do something for them all.

Do something for them?

Hey!

Hey, are you from this village?

No, we were just passing through.

I see.

It's a terrible sight to see.

Rubble as far as the eye can see.

You must've been through a lot, kiddo.

What? What's up, kiddo?

I might not look like it, but I'm 20.

Oh, sorry!

I call anyone I think is younger than me that.

No hard feelings?

L'Arc, it's about time we left.

Yes, okay.

We have to win.

Yes.

See you!

Are you sure you're done?

Yes.

I said goodbye to Mom and Dad, and Rifana.

Okay.

What's wrong?

Master Naofumi...

You won't leave us, right?

I can't imagine a world without you, Master Naofumi.

Master, are you going away?

Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere.

Really?

Yes.

Do you think I can leave this world in the hands of the Three Stooge Heroes?

Right?

Yes.

At least until these two can be happy.

Master Naofumi?

What's wrong?

No, it's nothing.

Hey, Master, what were you just thinking?

Oh, be quiet.

Let's go.

What? Why?

Filo, don't be stubborn, now.

What? But I'm not as stubborn as you.

When was I ever stubborn?

I'm not telling!

Filo, please stop that! You're bothering Master Naofumi.

No, I'm not!

Yes, you are!

You're bothering him too, Raphtalia!

We'll be riding that ship?

The ships in port have to stick to the schedule.

Fools will be fools.

Let's go, Master Naofumi.

Right.

We are extremely sorry!

We did have a private room for you,

but...

The Heroes who arrived earlier took over all the rooms...

Taking out their impatience on me?

It does make me concerned for the journey...

I hope you don't mind sharing a room with other passengers...

It's fine.

Come in.

What?

Oh, kiddo!

We meet again!
