to the back of the house
and show you the kitchen.

chandelier on that stairwell.

[Tom] Well, I was really thinking
of putting a mission bell up there

and have it wired as light.

This is or will be the kitchen. Heh.

It's very small.

Yeah, well, it, it won't be
once we knock out this wall

and widen the kitchen and breakfast room

to be even bigger than the den.

for breakfast everyday.

Hey, dad, the house is real far out.

Thank you, it's pretty far
out from the city, too.

You know, it, it just
feels sorta closed in.

Well, uh, it won't.

Once we, uh, widen all these windows

so you get a beautiful
view of the garden.

It needs a little landscaping.

Norman, I never would've

thought of a, of a house, especially one

as big as this if it
hadn't been for you.

that leads into the entry hall

that becomes a powder room.

original plans to the house.

some mental alterations here.

That's where we put the powder room.

Norman, that's the
entrance to my kitchen.
