But at his age, and with the extent of
involvement of his aorta,

and the hit his heart's already taken,
the mortality for that surgery's over 50%.

So what's the alternative,
conservative management?

Yes. But we keep strict tabs
on his heart rate and blood pressure.

And hope the tear in his aorta clots off.
It's a long shot and still risky.

He said it himself.
It's a Type-1A Gray Zone.

Medical management and surgery
have similar outcomes.

So, we have to convince the man
who created the surgery

not to have the surgery,

and hope the world's
most famous heart surgeon

doesn't die in Chastain today.
