Wait! Look at them in a circle!

[Alfonso] They look like they're having the best time ever.

I feel like I want to join the Hokey Pokey right now.

I wish I knew the choreography.

We'd be right out there with them.

? Where all the lights are shining... ?

[Julianne] Oh, look at Geppetto.

? While all the bells are chiming ?

? Ding-dong-dingle! What a merry sound! ?

[Julianne] What a way to start the parade.

[Alfonso] It is awesome.

- [? song concludes] - [crowd cheering, applauding]

Happy holidays from...

[all] Walt Disney World!

[crowd cheering, applauding]

[? upbeat festive music playing, "Jingle Bells"]

[Alfonso] All I want for Christmas is K-pop.

- That was awesome. - [Julianne] Yes, it was.

And on a scale of one to ten,

I'm giving that performance a SEVENTEEN.

That was incredible.

? Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh ?

[Julianne] Oh, look over there. Look.

[Alfonso] Hey, Olaf.

- Dancing Olaf. Look at that. - [Julianne] I love Olaf.

[Alfonso] The holidays are all about sharing time

with your family and friends,

especially right here in Walt Disney World Resort

and all the Disney parks.

Oh yeah, and that's why

it's another perfect Disney holiday tradition

that we take time to honor some of the very special families.

We get to meet one of them right now.

Take a look.

- [? soft piano music playing] - I'm Jenny Kennedy.

I've got two kids, Justin and Shelly, and four grandkids.

They're Harper, Palmer, Landry, and Owen.

When my kids were young, I got breast cancer.

I was pretty sick for quite a while,

and I had a lot of people do for me.

I just always thought it'd be so nice someday

if we could do back for others.

[Harper] Every year we do a lemonade stand

to donate all of our funds to a different cause.

It's a great family tradition.

[Jenny] We've been doing it for nine years

and each year has gotten bigger.

[Harper] I look up to my grandma. She's a huge role model.

She's done so much for everyone in this community.

She started the lemonade stand when I was two,

and she started Project MKC.

I was the founder of Project MKC.

[Shelly] We started back in 2010

with birthday parties for kids in homeless shelters.

And we were able to add our basic needs bank

and our comfort kit program for kids going into foster care.

[Imani] MKC. They're our main resource.

All of our diapers that we provide for our clients,

we're able to get through MKC.

If it wasn't for them, we probably wouldn't be able

to do a lot of the things that we do in the community.

[Shelly] My mom likes to be incredibly humble

and act like she's just doing what everyone should do,

but not everyone does do that.

She was a single mom going through breast cancer,

working two jobs,

and she taught us from an early age,

take nothing in life for granted,

give back, work hard, and just be kind to others.

[Shelly] She's just the best.

[? soft upbeat music playing]

[Justin] The whole family's

about to come over for ice cream.

They have no idea

there's a surprise waiting for them,

and when they see the surprise, it's going to be unbelievable.

All right, come on in, guys.

- [Shelly] Hi. - [kids] Hi.

[? energetic upbeat music playing]

Shelly, Jenny, Mom, for all that you guys do

with Project MKC and for our community,

our entire family has been invited

by Disney Cruise Line to set sail for an adventure

on their all-new Disney Treasure.

- [kids cheer] - [Jenny] Are you serious?

- [chuckles] - So, pack your bags,

- we're going on a Disney Cruise. - Oh my God.

I don't really know what to say.

Wow! This is the best thing in the world!

Aw, it's the best thing in the world.

[kids] We're going on a Disney Cruise!

[? energetic playful music playing]

[announcer] Disney Treasure, please welcome aboard

the Marlowe, Coffin, and Kennedy family!

[crew applauding]

[kids] Hi.

[Shelly] Is that Minnie Mouse?

[Landry] This is the best day of my life.

[Shelly] Our kids are living their best life right now.

I like the ice cream place and the slide.

[cheers]

[Justin] AquaMouse was awesome.

It's so pretty! [laughs]

[Justin] Everything about the ship,

the characters, the things to do,

it's been awesome.

[Shelly] I love watching Landry singing the songs

that she knows at Plaza de Coco.

There's so much for everyone to do,

no matter how old or young you are.

[all] Thank you, Disney Cruise Line!

[all cheering]

[? upbeat festive music playing "That Time of Year"]

[Alfonso] Grandma Jenny is passing down kindness

and giving to her family.

- That is a great legacy. - Yes, it is.

Thank you so much to all of the Marlowes.

And we have more holiday magic on the way.

[narrator] Still to come...

We've got incredible Christmas Day performances

from a capella superstars, Pentatonix.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elton John.

And next,

the cast of the record-breaking Disney original movie

Descendants: The Rise of Red makes this a red Christmas.

From all of us at Shifting Gears,

happy holidays.

From the cast of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place...

[all] Merry Christmas!

- Hi, I'm Charlie Cox. - And I'm Vincent D'Onofrio,

wishing everyone happy holidays

from the cast of Daredevil: Born Again.

Coming soon to Disney+.

[? upbeat festive music playing, "That Time of Year"]

? Happy, merry, holly, jolly season's greetings here... ?

[Julianne] All right. Well, we are back

on Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.

And last year, we celebrated the 40th anniversary.

And I am so glad to be kicking off another 40.

[crowd cheering, applauding]

[Julianne] Well, I hope everyone has a cozy sweater!

Because we're heading to a winter wonderland right now

with who else? Oh, you know,

the characters that we love so much from Frozen.

[? upbeat festive music playing, "That Time of Year"]

[Alfonso] And Elsa is riding

on the Wandering Oaken's Trading Post float

and it's inspired by a shop in the film.

[? upbeat festive music playing, "Jingle Bells"]

[Alfonso] On foot, Kristoff and Anna

and six citizens from Arendelle.

[Julianne] When the movie came out,

I took all of my nieces. That's a lot of nieces.

- That's like 13 nieces. - That's a lot of nieces.

[Julianne] And I remember listening to the song Let It Go

for the first time and I was brought to tears

and I have not been able to stop singing it since.

- Elsa, look how beautiful. - [Alfonso] Hello, hello, Elsa.

Well, we're in the most magical place on earth,

but Disney magic can also be found at sea.

Right now, we have a sneak peek

at some of the exciting experiences

coming to Disney Cruise Line.

[? upbeat music playing]

I'm Carly Scott, cruise director for Disney Cruise Line,

and I'm so excited to tell you a little bit about the next ship

to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Destiny.

She's going to be setting sail next year,

featuring Disney's larger than life heroes

and villains with brand-new venues

and fan-favorite experiences for our guests to enjoy.

With construction underway in Germany,

our Disney Cruise Line cast members are working their magic

to bring this brand-new experience to life.

[Jay] I think when guests arrive for the first time

on the Disney Destiny, I think they're gonna be blown away.

They're going to be greeted by Black Panther himself.

And the stern character for the Destiny is like

the coolest part of the whole ship, right?

And what's better than Spider-Man

and some Spider-Bots hanging on the back of the stern?

So there's just this different

heroes and villains sort of story

that immediately hits you, which is really exciting.

One of my favorite villains, of course,

is the fabulously over-the-top villain Cruella de Vil,

inspires an all-new piano bar,

guests can also experience

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King,

Disney's first ever restaurant that brings the story to life.

We cannot wait to welcome guests

when the Disney Destiny

sets sail next year.

[crowd cheering]

Guests can embrace their own destinies

when the ship sets sail in November 2025.

Now, we've all heard

the classic song White Christmas,

but we have something very special for you right now

because it's time for a red Christmas.

Descendants: The Rise of Red is the fourth film

in the hugely popular series.

The first three movies have been watched

for over 780 million hours.

And The Rise of Red had the biggest premiere

for a Disney original movie on Disney+ ever.

The cast is here today with a medley of the new songs,

Red Christmas and Jolly to the Core.

Right here at the Town Square Theater

on Main Street, USA.

Give it up for the cast of Descendants: The Rise of Red.

Give it up for Malia, Kylie, Dara, Morgan, Joshua, and Peder.

Kylie, what is it like performing

here at Magic Kingdom?

This is unreal. It's like my childhood dream come true.

And to have everyone here

celebrating with us, it's so special.

- [crowd cheering] - Very beautiful. Beautiful.

Malia, what are you thankful for this holiday season?

Honestly, just this experience, being a part of this.

I was such a big fan growing up, and having everybody here,

this is the best present you can ask for.

- Absolutely, absolutely. - [crowd cheering]

All right. Thanks again.

Catch The Descendants: The Rise of Red on Disney+,

and see Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour

live in summer 2025.

Julianne, how'd you like that performance?

Oh wow! I loved it.

I love that movie,

and I love watching the cast in person right here.

Wow, that was incredible.

And we have so much more holiday fun

and more great holiday surprises coming up.

[? whimsical music playing]

[narrator] Still on the way, superstar singers Pentatonix

with their a cappella rendition of Twelve Days of Christmas,

a medley from the biggest shows from Disney on Broadway,

a once-in-a-lifetime holiday performance from Elton John.

And Anika Noni Rose from Disney's new movie,

Mufasa: The Lion King,

at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is next.

All on Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.

Aloha all, it's Auli'i Cravalho from Disney's Moana II.

From the Moana family to yours, happy holidays.

Disney's Moana II is now playing only in theaters.

[Moana] Maui and Moana, together again.

[both] Wahoo!

[? upbeat festive music playing]

[Alfonso] Welcome back to our Christmas Day celebration.

Julianne, it's my first time here hosting the parade,

but you have been here quite a few times.

[Julianne] And might I say you're doing a very good job.

But yes, and I am so thankful to be back

for... Are you ready for this?

- The seventh time. - [Alfonso] Right on.

- [Julianne laughs] - [Alfonso] Now, do you have

a favorite memory?

[Julianne] I actually do.

It was actually back in, like, 2007.

I remember coming here for the first time

with the cast of Dancing with the Stars,

and we performed live

right in in front of the Cinderella Castle.

And it was magical.

And I'm sure you nailed it like you always do, right?

- Thank you. - [Alfonso] Yes, you do.

Yes, you do. All right. Right now, someone else

gets to make a holiday memory.

[Julianne] She is a beloved member

of the Disney family we all first fell in love with

when she was the voice of Tiana in Princess and the Frog.

And now she's the voice of Mufasa's mother

in Disney's new movie,

Mufasa: The Lion King, which is in theaters now.

All right, performing at the Tree of Life

there's another big celebration on the way.

The Disneyland Resort 70th celebration.

[Alfonso] Wow, can you believe?

Seventy years of celebrating the happiest place on Earth.

- You know it's going to be huge. - [Julianne] Right?

I can't wait to experience the return

of the Paint the Night Parade

and Wondrous Journeys Fireworks Spectacular

at Disneyland.

[Alfonso] And also at Disney California Adventure,

the return of Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!

As well as the brand-new

World of Color Happiness! Nighttime Spectacular.

[Julianne] Oh, and look at Mickey and Minnie's new outfits.

I love the holidays because...

It's a time to reflect.

It means community.

It's a really wonderful time with the family, with friends.

To eat all the good eats.

One thing I look forward to

during the holiday season is the music.

? We go together ?

We wish you all the happiest of holidays.

May it be filled with family, friends, and lots of good music.

[crowd cheering]

[Julianne] Welcome back to our holiday celebration here

at Walt Disney World Resort.

Here come Chip and Dale on foot with two candy makers.

Hey, guys.

[Julianne] Right now, we have a performance from a group

that always makes me think of two things,

- a capella... - [Alfonso] Mm-hmm.

...and Christmas.

[Alfonso] Okay, I like those two.

They have so many great Christmas songs,

and they are about to grace us with a classic Christmas carol.

- ? Eight maids a-milking ? - ? Seven swans a-swimming ?

? Six geese a-laying ?

? Five golden rings ?

- ? Four calling birds ? - ? Three French hens ?

? Two turtle doves ?

? And a partridge in a pear tree ?

- [all vocalize] - [? song concludes]

Thank you guys so much.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays

from all of us here at Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

- Merry Christmas. - Merry Christmas.

- Happy holidays. - Merry Christmas. We love you.

[? upbeat festive music playing]

[Alfonso] I want to be on Aulani time ASAP.

I think I'm going to make that a new holiday tradition

- in my family. - Um, can I come?

- [laughs] - Yes, you can. Yes, you can.

- You're part of the family. - [laughs]

[Alfonso] Speaking of my new favorite traditions,

one of my favorite parts of the parade is on the way.

It really brings to life one of the best things

about the holidays at Disney Parks.

[Julianne] You know what that is? The food.

[Alfonso] And Clarice, Chip and Dale's friend

is riding on the candy house.

[Julianne] You know, Clarice was one

of the first characters in Disneyland

when the park opened back in 1955.

? Scent of candy fills the air... ?

[Julianne] Did you know that the holiday cookie recipe

is officially top secret?

- [Alfonso] Really? - [Julianne] Yeah.

What do you think that's in it?

[Alfonso] I don't know, but I know it's made with magic.

- [gasps] I mean... - Hello.

That was a really good answer, Alfonso.

- [Julianne laughing] - [Alfonso laughing]

? Almost cookie time... ?

[Julianne] Right now, we get to meet another special family

we're celebrating the holidays with,

the Thomas family and their mom,

the Marine-turned school-teacher Jade.

[? mellow guitar music playing]

[child screaming]

Are you guys ready to make cookies?

- I'm hungry. - Come on, I'll carry you.

My name is Jade Thomas and I'm a fourth-grade teacher.

I served in the Marine Corps for eight years.

[Jamarcus] See what color the ocean is on this part?

So find light blue.

[Jade] I deployed three times, and it was a great experience.

That's where I met Jamarcus,

and now we have our three beautiful children.

[Jade] Right after I got out the Marine Corps and graduated,

I was hired here in Georgia.

[Joy] My mom is the best mom ever.

She is also a really good teacher.

- [? soft music playing] - [Jade] Good morning.

- [Zaina] Hi, Miss Thomas. - Hey, good morning, Zaina.

I think the military taught me to be adaptable

to my surroundings and working in stressful environments.

So, the transition was pretty smooth.

And I'm like, "Okay, I know that the Marine Corps was hard.

"If you can handle this, Jade, you can handle fourth graders."

I see a little Malaya.

[overlapping chatter]

- Look, there's Ms. Thomas. - [kids cheering]

She's very engaging and she's just so infectious

with her personality and her passion.

We're very proud of her for being selected

as the County Teacher of the Year. That's huge.

- How's gymnastics going? - Good.

Ms. Thomas started the Military Kids Club

to support our military kids.

I'll be deploying in January.

It's nice that I have the experience

with going on deployments and being away from my children.

And there are students here

who are going through that same exact thing.

Jade understands what it's like to be in the military.

Khloe was actually born in Germany.

So, she's the one that's had to move around the most.

[Anthony] She's been real sad to leave

all of her friends that she made.

So, we got Khloe in the club,

and Jade really has helped our daughter.

She's always happy and excited. She'll just make things better.

[Sandra] Ms. Thomas's commitment

to living a life of service is what inspires me most,

because she not only served her country as a Marine,

but she's now serving her community as an educator.

And it just makes me proud to work alongside her.

[? whimsical music playing]

This time of year, we celebrate by putting up a Christmas tree.

[all shushing]

[Tami] And so today, not only is it the big reveal for that tree,

but Ms. Thomas has no idea

that she's about to be gifted a trip to Disney World.

What is going on right now? [chuckles]

[kids cheering] Ms. Thomas!

[sniffles] Oh my God.

[Tami] Ms. Thomas,

because of your service to our country

and your dedication to our students

and the countless hours

that you have given them day in and day out,

Disney Parks would like to invite you and your family...

- [sobs] - ...to the magic

of Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate the holidays.

[kids cheering]

- [kids shouting] Ms. Thomas... - Oh my God!

...you're going to Walt Disney World!

[cheering, applauding]

Oh! I'm so excited to take my kids

to Walt Disney World for Christmas.

Yay!

[? exciting music playing]

[chuckling]

[all gasp]

- JJ, it's Mickey! - [Jade] It's Mickey!

I like Mickey Mouse. He was so sweet.

I love that here at Walt Disney World,

time kind of just slows down with my family.

The safari ride was so fun. We saw all the animals.

[JJ] I like when we went in the water.

Flamingo!

[? gentle music playing]

[laughs]

Wow! JJ, look at that. It's a gingerbread house.

[gasps] Oh my gosh, look inside.

This has just been so great, this whole experience.

So, I just want it to last forever. [chuckles]

[all] Thank you, Walt Disney World.

It's just incredible what they've done connecting

those children. So, thank you so much

to the Thomas family.

? Snowball treats ?

? Frosted sweets for you to eat... ?

[Alfonso] Oh, look, here comes Clarabelle.

[Julianne] Oh, we want those cookies.

Oh! Oh, she's sassy.

- [Alfonso] Yes, she is. - [Julianne] Oh, I love it.

[Alfonso] We'll be back with more stars

and more of your favorite Disney friends.

[Julianne] Happy holidays.

? Almost cookie time! ?

[narrator] More Christmas Day performances

are coming down the chimney, from country star Carly Pearce.

Plus, for the first time ever, Elton John performs

at Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort.

Okay, I wonder if he goes fast enough,

we could get

I just wanna know how many gumballs are in there.

- [Alfonso] There's a lot. - [Julianne] A question for next year.

[Alfonso] That's a good question. We'll have that next year. Absolutely.

[Julianne] Look at him just riding that bicycle!

[Alfonso] I mean, that's a lot of work.

[Julianne] That's easy for Goofy.

Well, it is for Goofy. For me, I think I would be fi-

I mean, my legs would be dead by this point.

Goofy!

That was so great!

[Julianne] And that island? Whoo! Looks incredible.

? Of all the trees that are in the wood ?

? The holly bears the crown ?

[Julianne] We have more exciting news

for the first time ever today.

The NBA will have a fully animated live broadcast

that will feature a game between the New York Knicks

and San Antonio Spurs.

[Alfonso] That's right, and it's set right here

on Main Street, USA in Magic Kingdom Park.

And it will also feature a halftime dunk contest

with Mickey Mouse and friends.

You can catch it all on ESPN2,

and Disney+ right after the show.

I'm gonna dunk that basketball.

- [cheers] - [exclaims]

[narrator] Coming up, we keep the holiday tradition going

as country star Carly Pearce performs

from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

And Elton John brings the holiday spirit

to Cinderella Castle with a performance of one

of his biggest hits,

all on the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.

[? dreamy waltz music playing]

[Alfonso] We are right in the middle of the magic

here today, and if I'm being honest,

there is nothing like a trip with family and friends,

especially when there's Disney magic involved.

[Julianne] Well, right now, we all get to meet

another family with a story that is sure to brighten up

our Christmas morning.

It's an inspirational tale about a young boy

who is a true survivor and has found a way

to support other children facing the same battle he went through.

Let's meet Niam.

- [? uplifting music playing] - [Niam] My name is Niam.

I'm eight and I live in San Diego.

When I was three, I had cancer. It was blood cancer.

You can also call it leukemia.

[Rena] We could have probably lost him at any moment.

We spent a lot of time in the hospital.

He had surgeries and treatments to his brain and chemotherapy,

- but he was a trooper. - [laughs]

[Niam] I had it until I was six and a half,

and I got to ring the bell, and I was in remission.

I learned to always be brave, and that that wasn't the end.

- It was just the beginning. - [? gentle music playing]

[Rena] Niam rang the bell and said,

"So, Mom, now what do we do? We gotta help kids with cancer."

[Nayla] He just wanted to make sure that no kid

had to go through the same thing that he had.

And he really wanted to raise money

for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

to help them find a cure for cancer.

[Rena] All right, committee?

So, Niam has a slideshow that he's going to present,

and then we're gonna talk about the run.

"Every year, over 16,000 kids get cancer

and 1,600 do not survive."

"So, that means we need to raise money

to help these kids." And that's why we need you guys.

[? inspiring music playing]

We had over 350 volunteers and people that showed up.

Way more than we can even believe.

[Rena] As a parent, I don't think we often think

we're gonna learn from our children

or we're gonna be inspired by our children.

[Niam] You don't have to be, like, 20 to change the world.

You can be any age.

And just remember, this is just my beginning.

- [? upbeat music playing] - [all] Three, two, one, go!

[all cheering]

[Rena] Niam's first run for kids with cancer

was so successful, he decided to host another run.

We have our whole community with us, all of his friends,

and today we have a special surprise for him

- at the finish line. - [crowd cheering]

Niam, for everything that you have overcome

and all that you've done for kids with cancer,

Disney Parks is inviting you and your family to Disneyland!

[all cheering]

[Niam] I'm really excited to go to Disneyland

and spend time with my family.

I've never been to Disneyland.

[? regal music playing]

Here we go!

[Ajay] Being here at Disneyland,

there's so many little details and so much love.

Smile!

[Nayla] My favorite ride is Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

[Ajay] Oh, that's Captain America!

Captain America! Hello!

Captain America, Sam Wilson here.

Nice to meet you.

[Niam] There's a lot of adventures

- and the rides are super fun. - [all screaming]

[Niam] You go, like, high-speed crazy.

I'm just really grateful to spend time

with my family at Disneyland.

[Rena] Especially during the holidays,

it just takes magical to another level.

[all] Thank you, Disneyland!

[? upbeat festive music playing]

[Alfonso] Wow, what a great story.

And Niam, a real-life hero.

[Julianne] Yes, another wonderful parade moment

is heading our way right now.

[Alfonso] All of our favorite Disney princes

and princesses are here.

[? dreamy waltz music playing]

[Julianne] These dancers are welcoming us

- to a holiday ball. - [Alfonso] One, two, three.

One, two, three. One, two, three.

- Oh! Hi, Cinderella. - [Alfonso] Hi, Cinderella.

Prince Charming, I love you, dude.

[Julianne] Did you know that

Cinderella's dress transformation in the film

is said to be Walt Disney's favorite piece

- of animation ever? - Wow.

Can you imagine that?

Everything that Walt Disney has created...

[Alfonso] Has ever made, that's his number one.

- Wow. - [laughs]

[Julianne] All right, well, I have to take a moment

to shout-out our special guests,

the veterans and Marine Corps service members

here with their families, many of whom have been working

with Toys for Tots to bring happiness

to so many children during this holiday season.

[Alfonso] With help from fans and families across the country,

hundreds of thousands of toys have been collected for donation

this holiday season through the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive.

Thank you so much for your service.

Let's give them all some love.

- Yeah, love, love, love, love. - [Julianne] Whoo!

[crowd cheering]

[Alfonso] Right now, we have a real

special holiday gift for you.

I know us Disney fans like to be the first to know about things,

so here's a special treat

from Disney's upcoming live action film, Snow White.

[? whimsical music playing]

? My father told me long ago ?

? I braved a bitter storm of snow ?

? Is that a girl I'll ever know again? ?

? I'm waiting on a wish ?

? Beneath a thousand treetops ?

? And as the silver sky stops ?

? I long to leave the walls behind me ?

? Waiting on a wish ?

? Holding out for some day ?

? Hoping somehow, someway ?

? There comes a miracle to find me ?

? I close my eyes ?

? And see the girl I'm meant to be ?

? Is she a part of me? ?

? I've had to hide ?

? Waiting on a wish ?

Do you think the Fairy Godmother...

- Give her lots of love. - ...will give me

a Prince Charming in my future, Alfonso?

There is a Prince Charming.

He's coming. He's coming to your future.

He might be right there on that float.

[Julianne] Alfonso, before we get to the final performances,

I do want to take a moment and tell you

that it has been so wonderful

to be creating Disney memories with you.

Aw, I feel exactly the same way.

I've had so many cherished moments

at Disney Parks with my family,

and now we got to have this day together here.

I'll never forget it.

? [upbeat festive music playing, "Once Upon A Christmastime"]

[Julianne] Now it's time for us to head back

to the Tree of Life.

- [? song concludes] - [crowd cheering]

Happy holidays from all of us at Animal Kingdom.

[crowd cheering]

[? festive marching band music playing]

[Julianne] Carly Pearce is really bringing

the country vibes to this party.

[Alfonso] And we've got more holiday festivities

with another tradition

that is a pretty big deal in my house.

- In your house? - Mm-hmm.

Honestly, mine too.

That's right. It's NBA on Christmas Day time.

You can see the biggest teams go head-to-head on ESPN and ABC

immediately after this show.

Mm. So spend all of Christmas Day

with the NBA.

Here's more from Malika Andrews and Chiney Ogwumike.

- This parade is everything. - Tell me about it.

And aren't we lucky that the holiday traditions

continues on ESPN and ABC?

Oh, yes, we are. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.

A jam-packed day of NBA games.

Well, we're going to start

with the San Antonio Spurs versus the New York Knicks.

[? upbeat festive music playing, "Jingle Bells"]

[Chiney] And then we, of course, have the Timberwolves

versus the Dallas Mavericks.

[Malika] After that, a rivalry matchup

between the 76ers

and the defending champ Boston Celtics.

But you cannot forget about the ultimate matchup

with LeBron James and Steph Curry.

[Malika] Ooh!

And a grand finale,

the Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns.

[Chiney] I mean, just look at this tree.

It has me so excited for a day full of basketball.

Same! And until then, we're going to toss it back

to our friends at Disney Parks.

Make sure you stay tuned for tip-off.

[narrator] Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade

will be right back

with a finale performance you do not want to miss,

as Disney legend Elton John

takes the stage in front of Cinderella Castle.

Hi, I'm Kaitlin Olson,

and from all of us at High Potential,

we wish you happy holidays.

- Hi, I'm Ginnifer Goodwin. - And I'm Jared Bush.

Happy holidays from us

and the entire Zootopia 2 family.

[? upbeat festive music playing, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas]

[Alfonso] We've got some of Disney's very own superstars

Now, the Toy Factory float has Buzz Lightyear and Woody,

Bullseye and Jessie.

Hey, Buzz. How are you, buddy?

"To infinity and beyond."

This part of the parade is inspired by the North Pole

and its most famous resident.

? Down the chimney with good Saint Nick ?

[? festive marching band music playing]

[Alfonso] The beauty that I have right now is sitting here,

watching all of the soldiers

with Cinderella's Castle in the background.

The backdrop is beautiful.

I salute you.

? We wish you a merry Christmas... ?

[Alfonso] Oh, man, here we go.

The moment we've all been waiting for.

- It's Santa and Mrs. Claus. - Ho ho ho ho ho!

[Alfonso] This is beautiful.

Oh, ho ho ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, Alfonso.

Santa Claus just gave me a shout-out.

He gave me a shout-out. I love it.

Hey, Santa.

Hey, I've been really nice this year.

Mrs. Claus, take care of the big guy.

Ah! Did y'all see that? Did y'all hear that?

I did see that, Alfonso. And I am so lucky.

I am here right now with a legend, too. Elton John.

Oh my goodness. We are so excited to have him here,

celebrating the holidays with us.

You can actually watch the new documentary,

Elton John: Never Too Late, streaming on Disney+.

And I can't believe

I get to introduce him right now for our final performance

of this incredible holiday celebration.

We've got the man whose music helped turn

The Lion King into an all-time classic.

Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Tony winner, and Disney legend,

here with the song that we all know by heart,

performing right here at Magic Kingdom, Elton John.

[crowd cheering]

[Elton] Thank you so much.

Happy Christmas, everyone, from Disney World in Florida.

? Jesus freaks out on the street ?

? Handing tickets out for God ?

? Turning back she just laughs ?

? The boulevard is not that bad ?

? Piano man Oh, he makes his stand ?

? In the auditorium ?

? Looking on She sings the songs ?

? The words she knows The tune she hums ?

? And oh, how it really feels ?

? Lying here with no one near ?

? Only you And you can hear me ?

? When I say softly, slowly ?

? Hold me closer, tiny dancer ?

? I count the headlights on the highway ?

? Lay me down in sheets of linen ?

? You've had a busy day today ?

? Hold me closer, tiny dancer ?

? Oh yeah ?

? Count the headlights on the highway ?

? Lay me down in sheets of linen ?

? You've had a busy day today ?

[crowd cheering]

? Blue jean baby, LA lady ?

? Seamstress for the band ?

? Pretty-eyed, a pirate smile ?

? You'll marry a music man ?

? Ballerina Oh, you must've seen her ?

? She was dancing in the sand ?

? And now she's in me Always with me ?

? Tiny dancer in my hand ?

? And oh, how real it feels ?

? Lying here with no one near ?

? Only you And you can hear me ?

? When I say softly, slowly ?

? Hold me closer, tiny dancer ?

? Oh yeah ?

? I count the headlights on the highway ?

? Lay me down in sheets of linen ?

? You had a busy day today ?

? Hold me closer, tiny dancer ?

? I count the headlights on the highway ?

? Lay me down in sheets of linen ?

? Oh yeah ?

? You had a busy day today ?

[crowd cheering]

Wow, wow, what a song.

Give it up again for Sir Elton John.

Amazing.

Well, from all of us here at Walt Disney World Resort

and our friends at the Disneyland Resort

and all of our Disney families around the world,

thank you for spending your holiday with us.

This was a dream come true.

Thank you for letting me be a part

of your Christmas morning.

Honestly, it wouldn't be Christmas without all of you

- or without you, Alfonso. - Thank you.

I honestly am so glad that I got to be here

with one of my very best friends this year.

Thank you.

Selfie?

Oh, yeah. Selfie.

All right.

Merry Christmas.

- And happy holidays. - And happy holidays.
