Only one man and one woman are gonna claim

the title of Challenge champion.

You're gonna have to either choose to protect her

and to ride with her to the end or the girls on this side.

The angels are really strong.

It's gonna be difficult

to get them out of this game.

If I'm gonna take anything away from this Challenge,

it's that I met you.

I've come here to play the game.

I haven't come here to get a girl.

Nia just couldn't get it done.

But, Michele, by winning,

I need you to select three males

to be the new targets

who will be at risk of elimination.

So we have our targets set.

Michele actually targets Jordan.

So one small victory, I would say.

That's a spicy one.

There's way too many underdogs.

So I need all of the underdogs to pack all of your bags,

because this is gonna be an underdog bloodbath.

Everybody's got that face like someone just stole their puppy.

I'm not gonna act like I, uh, don't enjoy it.

I had to make some tough decisions in the Arena,

but I'm still here to play, so it's a good day.

Now we have to win.

-100%. -Because now we've pissed off

-a lot of people. -Yeah, but you know what?

It doesn't matter if you piss off people

that were already gonna say your name anyways.

A lot of people wanted me

to put in Josh, but it just wouldn't have felt right.

Because Michele won,

she now gets to select three targets

to potentially go into elimination,

and she chooses Johnny,

Nehemiah and Jordan.

These are some big names we're talking about here,

but it's really a numbers game at this point.

And I think

that although Michele is friends with a lot of people,

she isn't on their top list.

I mean, if we look around,

who does she really have other than Kyland?

She has no one. She's told me.

I think she'll be a really, really easy one to pick up.

We need more bodies at this point. There...

Banana's angels are good.

Those girls are gonna win things.

We can all become our own weird unit,

- and just try to win things... - Mm-hmm.

...and scrape by as long as we can.

Well, here we go again.

Jordan and Nehemiah are now

the new targets, which is

really awkward for me because I'm working

with all of them.

So if I win the next challenge,

I'm not so sure that I want to be making this decision.

I've been doing nothing but doing yoga,

chilling, burning palo santo.

This guy's been raising holy hell the entire time.

And just because we were on the same team,

- I'm collateral damage. - I shouldn't have called

I just started feeling like

I was really getting some momentum in this game.

But now there's a chance I may have to go

against, you know, Jordan,

who's one of the greatest,

or Bananas, who's one of the greatest.

But, um,

I already had to go against CT,

so why not add Bananas and Jordan to the list?

and I don't know what that's gonna be.

And at this point, I can't stand on my heel.

I'm really just hoping that it's anything but running.

Even though it's men's day,

the female that loses

the challenge is going to have a penalty

coming into the next challenge,

so I just can't get last.

I'm not leaving on plantar fasciitis.

You know?

I'm leaving 'cause one of you beats me.

It's no secret.

There's so many strong women here this season.

And I've been having these feelings,

like, "You're Cara Maria. Where are you?"

When it comes to Aviv, not only is she just, like,

this little powerhouse

in different challenges, but...

she won on her first damn challenge.

Then there's Rachel, Laurel, Jenny, and Tori...

...to possibly go against in a final.

Great. Fantastic.

This 40 and over is for the birds.

What,

are you allergic to handsomeness?

No, they haven't said a word to me.

Then if I go, then I go, but at least I went out

-trying to do something. -Taking a stand.

Obviously, at the end of the day, it's like, yes,

I'm here fighting for me, but it's like,

you know, representing for my dad, too, you know?

Coming out of The Challenge All Stars Four

has now put me in a position that hardly

any veterinary students can say they are, which is,

I have zero debt.

So it's not necessarily about the money for me,

but I can assure you,

I'm definitely gonna do something

that's gonna try and make a change for the world,

for the animals,

for the communities, like the one

that we're in right now in Vietnam,

where I see stray dogs walking around

with hanging nipples, knowing that that mother dog

has puppies somewhere, and she's searching for food.

Every season, they're like,

"What are you coming to fight for?

-What are you coming to win for?" -Mm-hmm.

Like-- And it's hard, after you've won multiple times,

it's like, I don't know... It's like...

For this guy.

-This one's for you, Dad. -Yay. I love that.

I mean, it's obviously no secret

Johnny wants you out of this game.

Well, you know, Johnny is not

one of the people who talk about

having good people in a final, and, you know,

being a respectable competitor.

He's all about making it as easy

-as possible... -Yeah.

...and having other people do it.

Yeah, but is there a way

for him to get to you?

Uh, maybe. This... I mean, like,

there's a couple people that, that I feel comfy with winning,

and then there's a couple people I'm, like...

Heading into the challenge

as a target with Bananas and Nehemiah.

We're all here for it.

But Bananas and I, we're probably

gonna have a lot of the same allies,

because strong women are gonna want strong men.

So that leaves Nehemiah.

If he loses, that takes him off the board of targets,

and he goes straight into elimination.

Therefore,

one of these strong gals,

they're going to have to choose

between Johnny Bananas

and Jordan Wisely.

And they don't want to do that yet.

And I don't blame them.

I just need to win

so I take myself off of the target board.

I want to be known as the competitor.

I agree.

You know, world champs was cool,

but I want to get another win here.

It'd be five. I'd be in the same boat as CT

-and only CT. -I'm over here, like,

"Can I get one more, sir?

Can I get number two, please?"

You have five. I think that would be good for me.

Just wait. I told you, once you got your first one,

I told you they'd fall.

I'm gonna win tomorrow, too.

This game reminds me a lot

of The Duel II that I ended up

doing very well in

because the guys wanted to keep the strong girls.

That's my push to, like, you and a lot of the other guys.

It's like, listen,

I-I get that, like,

we haven't played our game side by side,

and maybe we're on the opposite sides of the house,

but gonna let a few people go home and then,

you know, maybe we will have a talk.

-Yeah. -You know.

Anybody with two eyes can see

-that you guys are falling hard each other. -Yeah.

Yeah. This is not the Theo that we know.

I think it's clear, I mean--

- In a good way? - Yeah. In a real way.

In-in a way, but I-I want

this, this softness

with the competitor that we know.

- Yeah. - 'Cause I-I feel like he doesn't know

what to do with all of this now.

I root for love.

I would hope that Theo and Olivia have

something out of this.

Realistically, though,

I mean, he's in the UK, she's in America.

They need to enjoy what they have while they have it

in the moment, and not think too much

outside of it, because the main point of being here is to win.

which I'm obviously gonna try and do,

I'm safe.

here in the beautiful Vietnam sand dunes.

It's gonna be hot as.

Congratulations, Michele. On winning the elimination,

you had to choose three new male targets.

You chose Bananas, Jordan and Nehemiah.

As targets, you need a win, or it's "go in."

So, you three targets are on the line today.

Also,

one thing that I failed to mention,

today is a staple on The Challenge:

the mini final.

it's a double elimination day.

Today is a purge.

Second-to-last-place woman, you'll get a significant

disadvantage at the next challenge.

We're about to go into a bloodbath.

This is my first time

meeting a purge.

I don't know if we're gonna be friends or not.

Damn. Mini final?

Purge?

I'm a target? This is just like

a full sandwich

that I was not prepared to eat right now.

I've lost two individual challenges now.

I'm usually scrapping for the top,

but the way I'm feeling right now,

I'm worried that I might even get purged,

so, you know, I-I don't know.

This is gonna be a 50-50 for me.

Today is a purge.

So, no matter what, I would think about winning.

Today's challenge is called Duned.

To begin, you're gonna race over to checkpoint one.

When you get to checkpoint one, you're gonna dig deep

and find a key.

Grab that key

and race over to your checkpoint two,

where you will unlock your paddleboards.

You're then gonna paddle down the river for one mile,

ditch the paddleboards, go up the hill

to your checkpoint three.

At checkpoint three is a memory game.

Complete that memory game, and it's a sprint to the finish.

The first man and woman to get to that finish line

will be safe from elimination

and head up the table in the Chamber.

Theo, as you got last place at the last challenge,

you got a two-minute penalty in today's challenge.

- Oh. - , dude. - You can do it.

Going into a challenge with a penalty

really tests your mental strength

and your desire and hunger to be in this game.

And listen, I'm gonna stand up for my man

and say that he's amazing at everything.

You got this, baby. It's all you.

You never want to get last,

but today, you really don't want to get last.

That means you're out.

This season, I'm focusing a lot of my energy

and my chi into Olivia.

And I've been chilling.

You know, this has kind of been like a holiday so far.

But the bad thing about holidays is that you get complacent,

relaxing a little bit too much,

and my fitness is showing that.

So I need to really engage now before it's too late.

This isn't about coming in last.

You can't come in last or second to last.

But I also need to win, because if I do,

I'm not going into elimination.

People want me out.

So if I have the ability to win today,

I am safe from being picked

as a target on a girls' day,

which is what I'm trying to avoid.

As far as Bananas and Jordan go,

we need to see one of those guys in elimination.

I have what it takes,

so let's put it into high gear and get the job done.

and it's a purge.

That means bringing out all my strengths, you know?

Every time there's a fast run, I know I'm gonna be up front.

I'm not necessarily so worried about last place.

I'm more worried about first place.

The person who cannot win is Tori,

because if Tori wins, I know for sure

Bananas will be going into the elimination.

But let's be honest,

Bananas is the most targeted man in the house...

...so if Bananas goes into an elimination

and wins, guess who's safe?

Who would've thought two minutes was so long?

And if I lose by one minute 59,

I'm gonna absolutely hit the roof.

So, um, you know, I'm gonna have to tap into the old Theo now.

I'm not making any progress right now.

I'm excited for a mini final.

I honestly just want to see how I match up

- with other girls. - Yeah, Rachel. Yeah, Rachel.

There's still

too many people in the house,

let's just trim the fat.

The sand just starts refilling everything I've dug.

All right, you've all timed out on this checkpoint.

But I am trying to stay positive

because I know that there's still a ways to go.

And I know the memory game is gonna be my opportunity

to make up this time.

"Find all the matches

in the memory game, mark them down at your station."

Get to the memory puzzle station.

What we basically have to do

is to match letters and numbers of different seasons

that are hidden under boats on different ends

of this very long sand field.

I've done well and I've done terrible

at these in the past.

What I've found is important

is to not bite off more than you can chew.

So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna try and go

three at a time and hope that I'm able to methodically

make this through before anyone else.

I was right behind Bananas

heading into this puzzle station,

but everybody's starting to kind of pile in right now,

and I'm doing my best to remain calm, but I'd be lying

if I was saying I didn't get a little nervous.

If I don't win, there is a high probability

Jordan could be thrown into elimination,

and I am 100% getting targeted.

Jordan and Bananas, I know they will be going 100%.

This isn't a situation where they can afford to not win

and guarantee their safety, which kind of has me excited,

because I am a threat in the final.

And-- oh, there we go.

My mum always said, growing up, I had the worst memory ever.

So this game is definitely challenging for me,

but the heat is making this so difficult.

Hell cannot be any hotter than it is today.

At this point, I found myself

and we need this in this game because

this is where people like me and Nehemiah,

this is where we come back, you know?

it's like hitting the jackpot.

It's basically a foot race to the finish line.

And all I can think about is holding this lead

and finishing this race.

I'm leaving the memory game in second,

but I can just see Kyland

at the top of the dune.

And let me tell you,

Kyland has got a pretty good gas tank.

However, I am, in fact, faster.

This is going to be really, really tight.

It's safe to say that Jenny's weakness

is memory and endurance.

I don't think Jenny can run

more than a half a mile without her inhaler.

This is something that can benefit me

in the final, and I know everyone is taking note of.

I'm like, just put me out of my misery.

Because if she wins, I'm 100% going in.

Just take me out the pasture, put two in the back of my head,

and let me just leave this hellhole.

I'm basically hobbling around on this one leg,

but I am noticing that the other girls are tired as well.

And what I do know about myself

to get to the end no matter what.

And that's where I'm seeing other people fall short,

and that's where I'm gonna have an opportunity...

...to surpass them.

In no way am I gonna let this go to my head.

But it's hard not to feel confident,

especially when we are probably

right around the corner from the final.

Obviously, I have a big decision on my hands, Kyland and I do.

But looking at the targets, like, unless Bananas

it's probably just not gonna change the way

my heart goes in this decision.

So, I am not one of Bananas's angels.

I am Bananas's nightmare this season,

and I'm coming in hot.

I don't even want to do this anymore.

If I've proven to myself one thing today,

it's definitely not that I'm good at memory puzzles,

uh, but it's that I don't have it in me to, uh, to quit.

And I'll keep pushing.

This is all coming down to me and Laurel,

and I'm seeing this game slip out from my fingers.

Everybody's finishing this challenge.

I just battled last night in the Arena

to keep my spot here.

It's supposed to be a guys' day,

and I don't want a purge

to be the reason that I go home.

Today is not only just a mini final, it's a purge.

Not only are the last girl and guy going home,

the second to last guy is going directly into elimination,

and the second to last girl

is getting a disadvantage at the next challenge.

Right now, Michele and Laurel are the last two girls.

Theo, Derek, and Nehemiah are the last guys,

and that means one of them is going home.

Check.

It's just me and Nehemiah left.

I am so exhausted. My mind is absolutely gone.

So now I'm panicking.

It's Battle of the Seasons.

What did I have? Not that.

Where do I go? Up?

This is it, baby.

Yeah, I'm done. I'm good. I want to go home.

This is not something I want to do anymore. Yep.

I haven't played this game with Laurel

in such a long time, but I know that

when she has her mind made up, she has her mind made up.

And I can't get down because I never quit.

I am peaceing the out.

This is actually torture.

So, I do not want to be tortured.

- Derek doesn't want to go home. - Nope.

- Come on, Derek! - Derek don't want to go home!

Now it's just between Theo and Nehemiah.

I mean, everything's on the line at this point.

Whoever comes across is going into elimination,

and whoever doesn't come across next is being purged out.

So, stakes couldn't get any higher.

- Come on! - You didn't give up!

Michelle crossing the finish line is just like, whoa.

Even though she's gonna have a penalty on the next challenge,

she's still in the game. And that means that probably

the best female competitor of all time

is purged out of the game.

Where is Nehemiah?

Oh, Nemo.

Come on, you're almost there.

- With the penalty. - Come on, finish it!

To lose Nehemiah is gonna be a big hit.

I don't really have any, like, top guy friends in this game.

I feel like I'm alone.

Everyone is so worried about Laurel.

Little did I know that Laurel

would take care of Laurel herself.

I'll give you a Rachel Fitness subscription,

Laurel has never done a challenge

with this caliber of women

and the fitness levels

that all of these women have.

She knows she's not

in the condition to run,

and I know she does not want

to embarrass herself in a final,

but Laurel's gone.

The competition's tough,

but I think I'm a little bit more ready for it than Laurel.

You did what you needed to.

One of us is still here.

-You know what I mean? That's a win to me. -Yeah. Yeah.

It's so bittersweet to end like this.

You work so hard. It was an uphill battle

this whole time, and I thought that I would

be able to push through

every single thing that was thrown at me,

but I wasn't able to.

And I'm happy to represent all of those yogis out there,

people who come from hardships,

pushing through

everything that has been thrown

and being able to, you know,

still stand strong in life.

And none of you beat me.

I beat myself.

I think that even in losing,

there's a silver lining, so you just have to

look at all of the lessons that are being presented.

You a funny-ass cat.

And we're gonna connect after this, bro.

As for our winners, Tori and Kyland,

you two put on a clinic

on how to run a final.

Now, Bananas, Jordan, as the only two remaining targets,

will have to go into the Chamber

and plead your case with the winners as to why

you should not be sent into the Arena to go against Theo.

Since this is a male elimination,

Tori, you will have the final say.

and that's actually a happier place

than where I am at.

regardless of what has led me to this point

with Bananas, even if the decision

was between Bananas and Jordan,

I'm still gonna ride with Jordan

at this point in the game, so it is what it is.

I've definitely grown to love Theo, and I hate

seeing him in this situation.

But I also know that part of him

would rather face

either of these guys, Jordan or Bananas,

in elimination than in the final.

So this can possibly give him

a leg up in this game.

He needs attention or he'll die.

And he's bratty as

when he doesn't get his way.

But now, in this moment,

people are really seeing him for who he is.

The fact that I actually have a feud with Bananas

is kind of a good thing,

because the other guys are gonna want to keep me

in the game because I'm a girl who's willing to try

to take a shot at him.

On the other hand, it's tricky

because I've taken shots at Bananas,

and he's obviously a great competitor, too,

so he's gonna fire back.

So,

I'm praying to God that, this time around,

when I put Bananas into elimination, he just goes home.

As someone who doesn't have

a lot of people having his back in this game,

I consider the people that are close to me

and that I am loyal to,

to be special, and then, you know,

to just be disappointed again, it's par for the course.

That's why this heart of mine got a big callus around it.

This game here that I've played for the last 18 years.

That's how you run a mini final.

Now, our two losers of the challenge,

Laurel and Nehemiah, were cut instantly.

Second to last place became last place.

as the remaining targets, you didn't win or lose.

So, now, Tori, who's it gonna be

to go against Theo?

Uh, I didn't really have a speech planned for tonight

'cause I just assumed this person

was gonna talk over me anyway,

so tonight's Bananas.

Shut up. Really?

It is good for my game if Bananas wins.

He has the biggest target on himself,

but the sickest thing about it

is I think he likes it.

Because he just feeds into it,

and his head just does one of these.

Just gets bigger and bigger.

You know, is it good that he's here as a shield? Yes.

But if I have to keep hearing about this man

and all his angels or whatever you want to call them,

I'm gonna go crazy.

So, tonight, you are playing

Cramping Out.

As you can see, there are two giant cylinders

right here in the middle of the Arena.

They have a bunch of holes in them.

There are also two stacks of poles.

To begin, you're each gonna get eight poles

to sabotage your opponent's cylinder,

making it more difficult for them to get through.

Then you're gonna race.

When you race through it,

you come back here

and you start playing a game of high-low with me.

Whoever makes it back here first

is gonna cut the cards and go first.

Win the round of high-low,

you get to add two poles,

and they only get to add one.

Then I'm gonna give you

one minute to get through that tube,

but eventually, it's gonna go down to 30 seconds.

Make it all the way through, you get another round.

We will switch off playing high-low

and adding poles until someone eventually loses.

Get stuck in there, you're going home.

-It is going to be tight in there. -Got it.

Height and size is a massive disadvantage.

My shoulders are a lot wider than his,

so I'm gonna have to be clinical

with positioning the poles, otherwise,

he's gonna be able to slide through and cut me off.

I'm the underdog, for sure.

Stakes don't get any higher

tonight to stay in the game, but, um, there are a lot

of girls that I've been riding with that I need to protect.

I think I might have gotten under a few people's skin.

I want to go back and continue

to make all their lives hell.

Whatever I place in now is not gonna be enough

to prevent him from going through,

but I want to start plotting a strategy

I really want Theo

to win this because I feel like

this is our way to get Bananas out of the game.

Theo is a strong competitor and can do it,

but honestly, having Bananas win this elimination

is kind of beneficial for my game, too,

because I know who he's targeting.

He's going to target, like,

my three best girls in this house.

So, if my girls are targeted,

that means that I'm pretty much safe

for the next guys' challenge day.

You're rooting for your friends, but you're also

rooting for this guy who you really want out.

or else they're out. Then, they play high-low.

Whoever wins the high-low will get two poles

to add to their tube,

and the other person will only get one.

I know that Theo is a badass beast of a competitor.

If we have any shot

of getting Bananas out, this is a perfect opportunity.

If he gets his eighth championship before my boy Cory

gets his first, I'm gonna be mad, but probably

not as mad as Cory and his baby mama.

I do feel bad giving Johnny a one.

I mean, this is exactly what you need

to go through in order to win the final.

This mini final was exactly right, and,

um, I gave it my all.

The hardest part was, I couldn't get the key.

If I would've been able to just get that key,

I would've got to the puzzle sooner and I think

I would've been able to finish quicker.

I'm proud that I was able to compete at the level that I did,

and on top of it I was able to send CT home.

I mean, what else can you ask for

besides making it to the final?

This is the first time-- one-- that I've ever

lost an individual challenge and-- two--

that I've ever been a part of a challenge with a purge.

I'm used to have a fighting chance in the elimination.

You know, I wish I was going into the Arena tonight

to, um, to still fight to be in the game.

I want Cory to really get this win.

I know how hard he's worked for other Challenges.

I know he has the family.

Mama, I didn't do it, but I'll be back.

Still got some more in me, so, um, this isn't the last

you'll see me, and I know

I'm gonna bring that win home for us.

I just came out of,

I'm peacefully going out very happy.

You know, you need a bit of luck in the game.

I hadn't had much.

High and low wasn't the only factor in the end

'cause most the poles

got used up, but my strategy

could have been a bit better, I guess.

Bananas was getting through a bit easier than me,

but he's narrower than me,

shorter than me, so he can navigate

a bit faster.

But there was no space left,

so I got stuck, and I guess

that extra five seconds

cost me.

But, you know, season 40.

It's an honor to even come in the first place.

This has to be the highest level Challenge there's ever been.

You know, I usually come and dominate in most seasons.

The only good thing about leaving right now,

just before the final, is, uh,

I get to save my body and my toenails and my bones

and my sanity, at least.

I'm sure, when I get home and a month or two goes by,

the, uh, eagerness will come back,

so, uh, yeah, I'm sure I'll be back.

Whoever wins, they deserve it.

Second, third, even to make the final in this game is

a hell of an achievement.
