In every town
or village,

there used to be
the hidden people

those who for one
reason or another

are shut
away from life...

or who for some
strange reason

shut themselves away
from the world.

My quest for a car
in which to drive

back and forth
to college...

was eventually
to lead me

to two of those
hidden people.

Well, Daddy, she's not exactly
in mint condition...

but between you and me, we
could probably fix her up good.

She needs a new paint job,
some work on the upholstery.

How much is Buck asking?

I didn't talk money with him.
I wanted to speak to you first.

we'll chop it up
for firewood later.

we'll go see about it.
