I just want you to be happy.

>> Bill: That is so sweet.

>> Justin: Yeah.

>> Bill: And I want you to be happy.

So, how are things going with you and Donna?

>> Justin: Touché. Moving on.

Here is the estate waiver for Quinn, though I don't

think it's necessary.

She doesn't have -- >> Bill: Yeah, I'm -- I'm --

I'm -- I'm well aware.

But since Wyatt's back at the company, he stands to gain more,

and since his mother is still listed as his power of

attorney...

I'm not taking any chances.

>> Justin: Okay. Fair enough.

But she might take offense considering it specifically

excludes her from something she had no right to in the first

place.

>> Bill: That's why I will charmingly handle her

personally.

Though it's not a visit I'm looking forward to.

>> Quinn: So, after telling you about Shauna the other day,

I couldn't stop thinking about her.

I was remembering how close we were.

I don't have to tell you that I don't have many --

I don't have any female friends.

And I really miss that.

So I reached out to her.

>> Eric: [ Chuckles ] You did?

>> Quinn: I did.

>> Eric: I'm glad to hear it.

>> Quinn: Yeah.

>> Eric: Did you make a plan to see her?

>> Quinn: Well, no, we hadn't, but she just texted me telling

me she's in L.A. to see her daughter, Flo, so I told her to

come over here.

She's on her way right now, and I can't wait to see her.

>> Flo: [ Sighs ] [ Knock on door ]

Wyatt! [ Giggles ] >> Wyatt: Hi. Uh...

>> Flo: Hi.

>> Wyatt: Should I have called first?

>> Flo: If one of those is for me, then no.

>> Wyatt: Here you go.

>> Flo: Thank you.

>> Wyatt: [ Chuckles ] >> Flo: What are you doing here?

Not that you need a reason to come over.

>> Wyatt: Oh, I mean, Sally was out of town visiting her

grandmother.

I had a little time on my hands.

Thought I'd come by and see how you were.

See if you got any results from the DNA test.

>> Flo: No. No, not yet.

I've been checking my phone every two seconds, but nothing.

I'm so nervous.

I can't believe today might be the day that I

actually find out who my dad is.

getting along okay?

>> Bill: Great.

'Cause I have zero contact with her.

[ Knock on door ] >> Bill: Hey, you guys.

>> Will: Surprise!

>> Katie: Is this a bad time?

>> Wyatt: So, how are you feeling?

>> Flo: I'm excited. [ Sighs ] >> Wyatt: Mm-hmm.

>> Flo: A little scared.

I mean, what if my dad turns out to be some serial killer or

something?

>> Wyatt: I highly doubt that.

>> Flo: It's possible.

I-I've heard about it happening.

I mean, he could be anyone, really.

>> Wyatt: So you go to "serial killer" first?

>> Flo: Well, may-- >> Wyatt: Huh.

>> Flo: Maybe not that.

>> Wyatt: [ Chuckles ] Okay.

>> Flo: But my mom has been so adamant about keeping him a

secret from me for my whole life that...

I kind of keep thinking there -- there must be a reason why.

>> Quinn: How do I look?

>> Eric: Y-you look stunning, as always.

>> Quinn: Yeah?

What about my jewelry? It's -- It's not too much, right?

I mean, Shauna and I were in such a different place

when we were friends.

>> Eric: Uh-huh.

>> Quinn: Ohh.

Pam, I'm expecting her.

>> Shauna: [ Gasps ] >> Quinn: [ Giggles ]

>> Quinn: [ Squeals ] >> Shauna: It's really you!

>> Quinn: My God, it's really you!

Oh, you look exactly the same!

>> Shauna: What are you doing at Forrester Creations?

>> Quinn: I do, I do.

>> Quinn: Alongside my husband.

Eric Forrester, this is Shauna Fulton.

>> Eric: How do you do?

>> Shauna: Good.

You're kidding me!

You two are married?

>> Quinn: We are.

>> Shauna: Quinn, I had no idea!

>> Quinn: I know.

Well, a lot of time has passed, a lot of things have changed.

I am so ecstatic to catch up with you.

>> Justin: Well, I was quite impressed with your

resourcefulness, setting your parents up that way.

>> Bill: [ Chuckles ] >> Will: Thanks.

I just didn't expect to be found out so quickly.

>> Bill: Yeah, well, you're a smart kid, but don't forget who

made you.

>> Katie: Yeah.

We will always find out what you're up to.

>> Will: I'm cool.

I had a mission, and I got it done.

>> Justin: Oh.

And what was that?

>> Katie: [ Chuckles ] >> Will: To give Mom and Dad

some alone time to help them remember how good they are

together, and how they make each other laugh.

>> Justin: Ohh.

>> Bill: We did enjoy ourselves.

That was a smart move.

>> Katie: Yeah.

No doubt about it -- we are definitely raising

a brilliant boy.

You know how much we love you.

>> Bill: That's for sure.

>> Flo: Was it hard for you to connect with your dad

once you found him?

>> Wyatt: No, not at first.

He pretty much welcomed me with open arms.

I was the son that was most like him, so he pitted me against my

brother from time to time, which I didn't mind.

But, uh, connecting with him got harder as time went on.

Especially when I realized we were more different than I

thought.

>> Flo: Yeah.

So he's not a -- he's not really a good man?

>> Wyatt: Not always.

Um...

Look, I'm not perfect by any means, either, but...

he has just -- he's done some things with no regret that

I could never do.

And it bothers me that it just -- it comes so easily

to him.

>> Flo: But what about fundamentally?

>> Wyatt: Well, I mean, he's -- he's trying to be better, right?

I mean, that's -- that's got to count for something, right?

>> Flo: Yeah.

Are you sorry that he's in your life?

>> Wyatt: No.

>> Flo: And, Quinn, she -- she eventually came around,

right?

>> Wyatt: Once Dad was present and accounted for -- meaning

alive and well -- there's nothing she could really do

about it.

>> Flo: If this, um...

If this DNA test comes through and I find out who my father is,

I just -- I-I really wonder how my mom is gonna react.

>> Shauna: I still can't believe it.

I mean, look at you!

So sleek and polished.

>> Quinn: Aw, come on.

It's just me. [ Laughs ] >> Shauna: Yeah, but "just you"

is now Mrs. Eric Forrester.

>> Eric: No, I'm the lucky one.

She's the light of my life.

but, Eric, your conference call is about to begin.

>> Eric: Yes, of course.

Shauna, it's lovely to meet you.

>> Quinn: Oh.

>> Eric: I hope we get to spend some time together.

we fell out of touch and let so many years go by.

That's what happens when you just kind of disappear in the

dead of night, never to be seen or heard from again.

You know what?

I look back at us then -- single moms raising our kids together.

>> Quinn: Oh, I know.

Hanging out, venting, spending all day doing

absolutely everything and absolutely nothing with

each other.

If I haven't said this before, you're the best friend

I've ever had.

>> Shauna: Aw, same here.

>> Quinn: Aww.

And, by the way, I saw Florence the other day.

Oh, my! You have to be so proud.

>> Shauna: Oh.

>> Quinn: She is such a beautiful, personable young

woman.

Of course, I'm not surprised because she was always so

special.

Yeah, she's a good girl.

>> Quinn: Yeah, she's a good girl.

You're very modest about her.

Unlike me, who would just take every moment to

brag about my son.

>> Shauna: Okay.

So how is Wyatt?

>> Quinn: Wyatt is just great.

He's grounded. He's gorgeous.

He's -- he's successful.

And -- I don't know.

He's perfect in spite of me.

>> Shauna: Oh, stop.

Wyatt is who he is because of you.

You need to take the credit.

You're an awesome mom.

>> Quinn: Oh, thank you.

Those two were so close.

>> Shauna: I often wondered what would have happened between Flo

and Wyatt if you didn't have to leave Vegas when you did.

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] We could have been in-laws all

these years.

>> Shauna: Yeah, but you wouldn't be living large in L.A.

I mean, oh!

Quinn, I'm so happy for you -- all the positive changes

in your life.

>> Quinn: You think my life has changed?

Wait till you hear about Wyatt.

>> Shauna: Ahh.

>> Will: Do lawyers make good money?

>> Justin: Well, they can.

It just depends on what kind of law.

>> Katie: You want to be a lawyer?

>> Will: Keeping all my options open.

[ Katie and Justin chuckle ] So, what kind of lawyer would

I not want to be?

I want to make lots of money.

>> Katie: [ Sighs ] >> Bill: Well, if you actually

become a lawyer, you're gonna work right here with me.

>> Will: What about Justin?

>> Bill: Justin?

We'll get rid of him.

We'll put him in a rocking chair somewhere.

>> Katie: Maybe he'll be traveling the world, enjoying

the benefits of retirement.

>> Will: You and Aunt Donna.

>> Justin: Yeah...

>> Bill: [ Chuckles ] What can I tell you?

The kid's relentless.

He takes after his daddy.

>> Will: You and Mom can travel with them.

I'll run things here with my brothers.

>> Katie: Oh!

>> Bill: [ Laughs ] >> Katie: Really? Gosh.

He just doesn't give up, do you?

>> Flo: I've always been so grateful for my mom.

I love her.

I can talk to her about anything -- anything

except my dad.

>> Wyatt: [ Scoffs ] So she won't go there at all?

>> Flo: Nope.

I mean, I've spent years trying to get information about him.

You know, trying to piece it all together.

But every time I bring it up, she just completely shuts me

down.

>> Wyatt: Well, maybe with this DNA test, it'll answer some of

the questions you've always had.

>> Flo: Yeah, I'm just, um...

I'm just trying not to get my hopes up too much, you know?

I-I just -- I -- For him to even be found,

he has to be in this database, right?

I-it feels like finding a needle in a haystack.

>> Wyatt: But you never know, right?

These DNA tests and the databases and everything,

they're becoming more and more popular every day.

Like, we could find a-a relative -- Distant.

Twice-removed, you know?

Look...

people want to know where they come from.

Just like you and me.

And some are even collecting third-party data --

which, with any luck, he could be there.

And then you could maybe finally meet your dad.

>> Shauna: Look what I brought.

>> Quinn: Uh-oh. Oh, no!

I remember that night.

That was more you than me.

The kids were away at middle-school camp, and we sure

made up for lost time.

>> Quinn: We did.

We couldn't wake up the next morning, could we?

>> Shauna: [ Laughs ] Right.

>> Quinn: [ Gasps ] Oh, my. Oh!

>> Shauna: Awww.

>> Quinn: Oh, look at them.

They were so cute together.

>> Shauna: They were.

They were thick as thieves.

>> Quinn: Mm.

Wyatt was always sure that he and Flo would

get married one day.

>> Shauna: Well, they may have if you didn't have to leave so

suddenly.

>> Quinn: I know.

That mistake cost my son and your daughter.

>> Shauna: No.

I really believe things happen for a reason -- the way they're

supposed to.

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] Yeah.

So, what about you, huh?

Come on.

What have you been up to?

>> Shauna: [ Chuckles ] Uh, well, I still work at the

casino boutique.

>> Quinn: Yeah?

>> Shauna: I got a small condo in a nice community,

good neighbors.

>> Quinn: Nice.

>> Shauna: Yeah.

>> Quinn: And are you involved with anyone special?

>> Shauna: Mm, no.

Not at the moment.

So, you see my life didn't turn out as exciting as yours.

>> Quinn: [ Laughs ] >> Shauna: I mean, Quinn, how

did you end up with all this?

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] When Wyatt and I moved to L.A.,

we were working on my jewelry line.

And, uh, we weren't setting the world on fire, but we were

doing fine.

And then, amazingly, I got involved with

Forrester Creations.

And then, when I married Eric, I really got involved with

Forrester Creations.

>> Shauna: Oh!

You seem so happy.

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] I am.

I am happy.

I mean, his family didn't really approve of me at first.

>> Shauna: Mm-hmm.

>> Quinn: I'm not sure that most of them approve of me now.

But, you know, that never stopped Eric.

He was -- he was as committed to me as I was to him.

>> Shauna: Wow.

Quinn and Wyatt Fuller, after all these years.

>> Quinn: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

>> Shauna: Well, Quinn Forrester.

>> Quinn: Yeah.

And Wyatt isn't even a Fuller anymore.

>> Shauna: Oh?

>> Quinn: Yeah.

That's the other big thing that happened when we moved to L.A.

Wyatt found his dad.

>> Shauna: [ Gasps ] Flo mentioned something to me.

>> Quinn: Mm-hmm.

>> Flo: But you told me his dad died.

>> Quinn: Yeah, well, he was dead -- to me, anyway.

But, you know... [ Sighs ] When Wyatt became an adult,

it wasn't really my call anymore.

>> Shauna: Well, did they hit it off?

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] It's been kind of up and down.

I mean, look, Wyatt really loves his dad, but...

meeting him was...

it was life-changing.

You know, that's the other thing that Flo and Wyatt always had in

common, is neither of them knew their dads.

But... I don't know.

Maybe it's time that she does, you know?

I mean -- I don't know.

Have you ever considered bringing her dad

back into the picture?

>> Justin: Well, I have got lawyer things to take care of.

It was good seeing you, Will.

>> Will: You too.

>> Justin: And, Katie.

need to -- to clarify.

>> Bill: Well, "never say never," that's definitely a code

to live by.

I mean, you know, I certainly do.

But sometimes determination isn't enough.

All right?

The stars have to align.

Especially when -- when the outcome that you desire involves

other people who might have different ideas about how they

want things to turn out.

I-I guess what I'm trying to tell you

is that I-I honestly don't know what the future holds for

your -- for your mom and me, buddy.

>> Katie: Uh, your father and I don't want you to get your hopes

up over something that might not happen.

>> Will: If you two don't get back together, I'll give you

both $500.

>> Katie: [ Laughs ] What kind of bet is that?

>> Bill: What, you want to blow $1,000?

>> Will: That's what I'm saying.

I won't have to.

>> Bill: [ Chuckles ] >> Katie: Oh, my gosh.

You!

>> Bill: Yeah, right?

>> Katie: I want to know where your $1,000 is.

>> Wyatt: Can I give you a piece of advice?

>> Flo: Yes, please.

>> Wyatt: Try not to pre-worry about this.

You're just gonna make yourself crazy.

And -- and like you said, it might be for nothing.

As you pointed out, he might not even be in the database, anyway.

>> Flo: I know.

I know, I just...

There's this really big part of me that would be so relieved

if he was.

If I could just put an end to all of these questions and

finally have the answers.

I mean, I just -- I see how much finding your dad has changed

your life.

And I by no means think that mine is gonna be some rich,

famous guy, but...

>> Wyatt: [ Chuckles ] >> Flo: It would just be nice to

know who he is, you know?

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: Talk to him and...

look in his eyes, see if they're the same color as mine.

>> Wyatt: I totally get that.

>> Flo: You know, I am so happy that you're on this weird,

crazy journey with me.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Flo: I would be terrified to do it on my -- I wouldn't even

be doing it on my own.

>> Wyatt: Stop.

>> Flo: You, you -- Having you here, having my back,

it just, um...

makes me feel like I could handle anything.

>> Quinn: That's the first moment of awkwardness we've had

since you walked through the door.

I mean, I mentioned Flo's father, and you practically

recoiled.

Look, I-I know that we agreed never to talk about the kids'

fathers when we were younger -- >> Shauna: Obviously my attitude

towards him hasn't softened over the years, and if anyone could

understand, I would think it would be you.

>> Quinn: I completely understand.

But, you know, I-I -- I've learned to coexist with

Wyatt's father because it's what Wyatt wants.

So what was it like, seeing him again?

>> Quinn: [ Sighs ] [ Scoffs ]

Wyatt's dad...

is a colossal jerk.

He is arrogant.

He is condescending.

He is such a big bully.

[ Sighing ] And then, every now and again, eh,

just a little bit of a decent human being peeks out.

You know, but that's really because of his sons.

He has two other sons.
