their old late working views

oh I'm sorry miss perma well that's

quite a ride mr. C I've seen the men in

his bathroom no idea

ETA about an hour 20 hour 25 it must be

over the Alps by now it's the problem

well there's been a strange transmission

from doctors seven Joseph seven the

biologist yes he's been in charge of an

experimental farm project for the world

food organization I helped fund that

seems that our project control in

Toronto has lost all radio contact with

and missed provide we'll meet you at the

photo shoot yeah well thank you very

much better

I'd like to you two

with additional funding from mr.

Eddington dr. Severn took over an

abandoned village and the surrounding

farmland so what did he do it bush fever

and crack-up oh we don't know he's been

there for about one year everything

seemed to be all right until now and is

this the tape of his last transmission

yes everything for the last two weeks

okay we've got our emergency clearance

mr. van you go unless you like a break

from the office well another time mr.

Sinclair I really prefer the Far East to

the northwest

bud sauce smooth Pete

just thought you'd like to change

our timings perfect are we back to Lin

we just took off are we no idea it's

done

yummy jj-just over there Scotland I have

a dinner in Paris tonight

not anymore you don't coffee

don't worry

I'm sure it'll wait yeah black

poor Joseph virtually isolated up there

and such plans brought that small group

of migrant workers and that children up

there to work the land

he's gonna give them the land of the

project succeeded you have been overly

generous with your money if I may say so

sir no no no I believe in his work he's

had extraordinary success with his

farming methods he can grow things were

no one else can oh sure he's a bit of a

dreamer but he's a genius of a sort

genius does what it must talent what it

can it's a pretty fine line

he has such guts it took a lot of

chances and made a lot of enemies

because of it we both know this was his

last chance

I guess the pressures were too much yes

but without dreamers what would this

world peace

over the last 20 years seven resigned

from half a dozen universities in 1984

he started an agricultural project in

Zion man in 86 he was expelled and a

year later he was expelled from Nigeria

we have to read between the lines in

each case he was expelled when he made a

major breakthrough in his research two

years ago his hospitalized for

psychiatric reasons and how's that for

reading between the lines you're trying

to make a point stone I figure the

points already been made just listen to

the tape

see what I mean guys definitely fruit

bar

what is it a fruit bar you know what

puzzles me he starts perfectly rational

and and suddenly just snaps Gabrielle

would you phone the office and ask

Bennet to run an analysis of the

original okay okay here is Sanders Falls

it's the closest place for the runway

long enough for me to bring this baby

down okay well that means it's just

about 70 miles to the farm

the turnoff is another 8 miles up this

road and then it's about 20 miles to the

farm

just another day in the country

I took it upon myself to bring your

breakfast kippers no just coffee Bennett

here's the list of supplies shipped to

severance farm in the last month

oh good I think you should have some

kippers sir pesticide spray no kippers

just coffee Bennett two shipments well

if you want kippers what about a fresh

glass all just coffee

what's he spraying Kansas what about a

nice slice of toast

Bennett coffee black and hot I mean this

doesn't make any sense what doesn't make

any sense though point behind his

project was the fight against pesticides

and chemical fertilizers oh well I used

them now exactly natural farming

bugs they like dead stuff it makes sense

we use certain insects to attack the

pests that attack the crops and you

encourage the growth of certain weeds

that aside other ways sounds like work

to me well I do think best asides are a

good thing whatever puts the bread on

the table even if it poisons the

environment should all be responsible

for what happens in this world

I'm all for the environment I'm a

natural kind of a guy

Pete why don't we park it here and walk

the rest of the way

see if you can reach JJ

got anything well there's a farmhouse up

there with a few outbuildings got a

quarter of a mile

I can't even get a line on this but we

must be out of range probably in a relay

station okay

let her try the radio in the truck

eight

you know what this is yeah it's of use

yeah they use dynamite to bring these

things down JJ

do you read JJ we have visitors

Chuck Connors is a rifleman weekdays on

Lone Star spoiled produce not again stop

throwing away your money introducing

debbie meyer's greenbags the remarkable

new way to save your produce and your

money

hi I'm Debbie Meyer and I no longer lose

hundreds of dollars in waste of rotted

fruits and vegetables now you can share

my secret with debbie meyer's ever fresh

greenbags just look at the difference

between eighteen days and traditional

storage and eighteen days in my

greenbags storage do you want this or

this these strawberries were bought at

the same time just look at the

difference look at iceberg lettuce after

just eight days watches these bananas

age look at the difference the bunching

my green bag is still fresh after nine

days air is not the enemy

it's the ethylene gas that's naturally

given off by produce which causes them

to spoil old containers and bags trap

the gas inside actually speeding up

rotting but greenbags are made with a

natural mineral that absorbs and removes

the harmful ethylene gas so now your

produce stays fresh up to 30 days over

40 million greenbags have already been

sold and now you can get 10 of debbie

meyer's greenbags for just fourteen

ninety five whether they're on your

countertop or in your fridge my

greenbags are the ultimate produce saver

and that saves you money look at this

broccoli after 21 days peppers after 16

days here are baby carrots after 26 days

you'll get five medium and five large

bags for just 1495 they're reusable up

to 10 times each and they're guaranteed

to pay for themselves in just one trip

to the grocery store but wait call now

the shipment of pesticides sent to

Severns farm was ordered by dr. Karl

Luther King Severns assistant is from

the University of Munich who's been

studying

Severns farming methods any lab analysis

on these tapes well they managed to

isolate two distinct background sounds

air hissing which of course could be

some kind of static the other was that

of a small aircraft climbed very low

with no fashion rotary engine they

thought it might be the kind they use

for crop dusting sir

I'm gonna check upstairs

I'm sorry

what are what happened to them mean

deserve dinner and then they disappear

yeah it's very strange

we got the s-curve errors here all the

way up from Mexico probably one of the

migrant families

it's game

look at this

where did you find the fish a picture

the outbuildings

found the woman I don't think you want

to see this the man's in the back is he

dead

yeah and by the look of it he shot her

then killed himself

don't know my planes not equipped for

that Jamaica Tosh

we're from the world food organization

thank goodness you've arrived my name is

moment he went into Sanders Falls his

behavior has been very erratic lately

and I'm afraid he's been drinking

where's everyone else oh you mean the

workers

well considering the situation we

thought it best to give them some time

off

they're probably in their homes

look we found two bodies in the farm

just up the road bodies yes their name

was SK Vera oh my god perhaps we could

use your radio I'm afraid it was badly

damaged by dr. seven well then maybe you

great to come it's flew in over the

field doesn't this get raw energy and

spread everyone working in that field

que paso could I see so it's a local is

time there who program a mientras the

consequences will be severe consequences

sir and Sara

there's nothing okay let's go

where did you get this that's a

duplicate of a passport photograph a

duplicate of a fake passport what do you

know about this man well I was hoping

you could tell me colonel that's

classified

now what's your interest in him you

quizzing me I call this meeting damn it

this isn't a game mr. addington if you

know where he is if you know anything

about him you have to tell us and

declassify some information I'd be glad

to oblige you no I can't do that

I don't have the authority you wouldn't

be here unless you had that authority

his name is Stella he's a trained

chemist he studied in Munich under

looker

we don't have definite proof but we have

reason to believe he killed him why I

guess there was nothing else the

professor could teach him about

pesticides

amongst other things his specialty is

bonding chemicals in the past Stella has

helped certain middle-east concerns

develop chemical and biological weapons

capabilities you're gonna have to be

more specific than that colonel if it's

not the media you're talking to what the

hell is your relationship to military

intelligence you knew the answer to that

one before you came here now continue

please we know that Stila helped develop

nerve gas for Saddam according to the

last good intelligence we had on him he

was developing a synthetic hallucinogen

and trying to bond it with pesticides

you know that pesticides are basically

just nerve gas for bugs

yes combine the nerve gas and the

hallucinogen and the effect would be

madness homicidal madness that's the

idea anyway

if he finally got it to work yeah I'm

afraid he just might have

captain Johnson mr. Macintosh

I see

well thank you for letting me know that

I'll see you in an hour

buh-bye

I was talking on the radio as this plane

was coming towards me suddenly I had

this nightmare feeling of fear and rage

I should have seen what Luca was doing

sooner that you ever get involved with

this guy though he had excellent

credentials he has created something

monstrous truly monstrous these people

came here to start a new life and all I

brought them is death and destruction

besides Luca how many others are there

three others they came four days ago to
