[Under the Skin Ⅱ]

[Episode 14]

Don't help me, don't help me.

Sister,

will you come to lead us again tomorrow?

I'd like to learn more from you.

Keep it up.

Do your best, do your best.

Ms. Ao Li.

M- Ms. Ao Li.

Be careful.

Your condition today

is really quite dangerous.

Your health is important.

I can handle it.

I need to make money.

But you can't risk your life for money.

You care about me?

If you want to pity me,

you won't even be able to do this job!

Don't think I don't know

what you're up to.

If you want me to take you under my wing, just say it.

Stop acting innocent here.

Doing laundry is what you should be doing.

Who's the sick one?

I care about you out of kindness.

Even if you don't need me,

you don't have to be like this.

You're sick.

Who do you think you are?

How dare you?

Du Cheng.

Why does this person

look so much like Jiang Feng?

[Feng loves sports]

Hello, my lovely viewers,

are you having trouble sleeping again?

Insomnia, maybe?

Instead of tossing and turning in bed,

why don't you

follow my heartbeat

and let's get our DNA fired up together?

Come on,

let's get moving!

[Public Security]

[Beijiang City Public Security Bureau, Beijiang Branch]

Let me tell you guys,

I've never seen

[Palmfire Streaming]

anyone like her.

I was being nice to her

but she just blew up at me.

Her face changed faster than flipping pages.

What's worse,

[Beijiang Criminal Investigation Team]

she took the clothes in her hand

and threw them right in my face.

It still hurts even now.

I don't even know

what I did to offend her.

Why was she so mean...

I'm so upset that

I'm feeling unwell now.

I think I'm coming down with a cold.

Jiang Feng, Jiang Feng.

[Palmfire Streaming]

We'll appreciate you instead.

Here, take this.

Thank you, Yan.

Let me make you a cup.

No need, I'll do it myself.

[Palmfire Streaming]

At this point,

Ao Li must be exhausted, both physically and mentally.

She no longer had the energy

to hide her fatigue

and resentment.

As a result of being forced to relax,

her aggressive dark side

emerged immediately.

[Beijiang Criminal Investigation Team]

Then shouldn't this aggressiveness of hers

be directed at

those who disrespected her?

Why was it aimed at me

when I was being kind to her?

Think about it.

She's been in this kind of

work environment for a long time.

Being insincere

is her normal state.

It's rare for someone

to treat her sincerely.

But your

sudden and sincere concern

made her feel at a loss.

It's as if someone had caught a glimpse of

the vulnerability she hid deep inside.

So,

aggression

became her defense mechanism.

This also represents

some of the uncertainty

in her state.

Shen Yi, then do you think

Jingjing might

become

her attack target again?

These are all just my speculations.

They don't represent facts.

If we want to accurately predict

Ao Li's behavior,

this information alone is not enough.

Why are you all here after work?

Captain Cheng,

you're back.

If I hadn't come back,

the police station would have turned into a live-streaming room.

Feng.

Don't you have anything better to do

while I'm not in the office?

It's not like that.

Well, this matter

is not Jiang Feng's fault.

He just wanted

to help Jingjing.

But I assure you,

it was all done after work hours.

It didn't interfere with work at all.

Really.

Actually, this is my fault.

I was the one

who arranged it.

This isn't Li Han's fault.

If anyone's to blame, it's me.

I insisted on going.

I just wanted to help Yan.

As for Ao Li,

I find her quite interesting.

I wanted to study her a bit.

I asked someone to look into it.

This is Ao Li's resume from before she became

a streamer, right?

We were just thinking of getting this.

Captain Cheng, you're a godsend.

Thank you, Captain Cheng.

Are you satisfied?

You don't look as

overbearing as you do

in the live stream.

Do you like this outfit then?

I wore it especially for you.

It does have a certain appeal.

If you're willing

to wear it every time in the live stream,

I would definitely send lots of...

It's ruining the mood.

Let's talk about it another day.

Little dumpling.

Did I say you could leave?

Stand still.

I'm sorry.

Please punish me.

If you want to look, just look openly.

But you can also

watch my livestream

and send me gifts.

If you become the top gifter,

I might go on a date with you.

Jingjing and Yan told me

that you were very popular

during your college years.

You were a loyal friend

and an excellent student.

You shouldn't be like this.

You're using self-destructive ways

to hurt yourself.

So you're a police officer too.

I didn't know there were such handsome cops.

Alright,

no need to beat around the bush.

They don't mean much

to me in my heart.

They're the ones being pathetic,

insisting on disgusting me.

So I have no choice

but to disgust them back.

Why can't I get a cab?

Taxi!

Taxi!

Taxi!

Taxi!

So?

Do you think I'll be grateful to you?

It's hard to get a cab here.

I asked my colleagues to pick us up

and send you back.

Take the police car?

People might think

I'm a murderer.

But would you become one?

Guess.

If I had never

met Luo Yifan

and Yan Jingjing,

what would I be like now?

You're right.

I was a top student.

I was that kid other parents envied.

If I hadn't chosen to pursue arts,

maybe I'd be

at Peking University now.

It's still not too late to become

who you want to be.

Not too late?

It's way too late!

You saw it just now.

This is who I am now.

I'm rotten to the core.

Every choice I made

was a mistake.

I was doing well in school.

Why did I have to

study landscape design?

The clothing store was doing well.

Why did I have to give all my money

to that bastard

to help me find a designer?

I wanted to start my own brand.

Then I wanted to get married.

I chose to marry a jerk

who transferred his assets

to his ex-wife and daughter

before our wedding.

I thought

I was marrying for love.

Ao Li.

Calm down first.

The rain is too heavy now.

You should-

Don't come near me!

Every choice

has led to this

miserable life.

Every time I trust someone,

I end up completely hurt.

I'm so stupid.

I'm just a fool!

Ao Li.

It's too dangerous in the middle of the road.

Come back quickly.

Don't bother.

Don't bother with me!

Come back quickly. It's too dangerous.

Ao Li.

Who are you to me?

Are we close?

Listen, Ao Li.

Let's go back first.

If murder weren't illegal,

would you have thought about it?

Get in the car.

Get in first.

You can stop here.

Thanks.

Why did she come here

instead of going home?

That's about it.

Anyway, according to Jiang Feng,

Ao Li's state is

relatively normal at work.

There are occasional extreme behaviors,

which might be

to relieve stress.

If that's the case,

there shouldn't be any problem.

Have some pizza.

Good food solves a thousand worries.

Thank you, Yan.

Let me do it.

Shen Yi, come.

[Every pizza is made to order]

Mr. Shen,

have some too.

I think we still haven't found

the root cause of the illness.

The information Du Cheng found shows that

after the incident

with Jingjing and Luo Yifan,

Ao Li's life has endured great ups and downs,

and she's encountered

quite a few other hardships.

So why is she still fixated on

Jingjing and Luo Yifan's matter?

Hasn't this resentment

lasted for too long?

Shen Yi,

from what we can see,

Ao Li hasn't gone looking for Yan Jingjing again.

Why don't we just let it go?

We can't let it go, Yan.

Ao Li's emotional fluctuations

are too unstable.

Her personality

is filled with danger,

even self-destructive tendencies.

She could

be provoked at any time.

Comrades.

I...

Is this a celebration party for my return?

Why are you back?

Have a bite.

I resigned from Palmfire.

Let me tell you,

that job was simply inhuman.

Dancing day and night,

who could endure that?

Eat more,

you've lost weight.

Who bought this?

-Yan. -It’s from Yan.

You've been working hard.

Thank you, Mr. Yan.

Oh, right,

Ao Li also resigned from Palmfire.

When she left,

she made a big scene.

Stop right there.

Give me that.

Hand it over.

Everyone,

take a look!

Quick, look at this.

Don't look! Don't pick them up!

What do you want?

I've already prepared a copy

to send to your daughter's school.

I'll let her classmates see

how her father is involved

with multiple female streamers.

So,

do you still want that

penalty fee?

If you do this, you're finished too.

Infamy is still fame, isn't it?

Stop!

Stop it!

Destroy those she hates,

including herself.

If murder weren't illegal,

would you have thought about it?

I think a violent incident might happen soon.

Where are you going?

I want to go

check out where Ao Li got off.

Shen Yi, I...

I'll go with you.

Then we'll go too.

I'll contact the police station

to coordinate with the property management.

I'm from the local police station.

This is the warehouse Ao Li rented.

What kind of

style is this?

For Ao Li, this is

like a child's

secret base.

It's a world

that completely belongs to her.

So,

her most authentic self

must be locked in here.

Her most authentic self?

She likes these dolls?

Then she must be quite innocent.

These are bisque dolls.

Bisque dolls

are products from over a hundred years ago.

Although the same face mold

was used to produce hundreds or thousands,

other things like

the hair,

makeup,

and clothing

were all created by

different designers.

So in a sense,

in this world,

no two bisque dolls

are identical.

They're considered art pieces.

These dolls

have a common feature:

their eyeballs

are blown from glass.

They all have a mechanism

in their heads.

When they sit up,

their eyes open.

And when they lie down,

their eyes close.

But why did Ao Li

deliberately

glue this doll's eyes

shut?

Its eyes are glued shut.

That's really creepy.

You just said she was innocent,

and now you're calling her creepy.

Innocent?

Creepy?

Lilith.

Ao Li has disguised

her most innocent side

as a demon.

No, Shen Yi, she...

Why did she

do these things?

This is her murderous intent.

Where's Jingjing?

She didn't tell me.

I think she's taking wedding photos tomorrow.

Wedding photos?

It's my first time dressing so formally in my life.

I'm not used to it.

Aren't you going to button up?

This one?

They said I don't need to button it.

How do I look?

They're here.

Dad.

Uncle.

Jingjing,

you look beautiful.

Thank you.

Very nice, very nice.

I want to figure out

Ao Li's specific plans as soon as possible.

You guys go ahead first. Keep in touch.

Let's go.

L-shaped curve road.

Turning mirror.

Sharp heavy object.

Beautiful.

Come on.

Do a heart pose.

Come on.

Sweetheart pose, that's right.

It's essential.

Okay, good.

Good.

Groom, hug the bride.

Tighter, tighter. Come on.

Smile, that's it.

Beautiful.

Double shot Americano.

This outfit.

I think it looks pretty good.

Why are you looking at me?

Look at the bride.

I am looking.

Jiang Feng.

Come, have some coffee.

Fresh coconut latte.

Americano.

-Thank you. -Thank you, Yan.

You've started buying

things that young people like.

Face each other.

Good, very nice.

Groom, make more eye contact

with the bride.

Show your love.

Smile brighter.

Good.

Beautiful.

Du Cheng.

Can you not

tell Jingjing about yesterday?

It's a once-in-a-lifetime event for her.

I, I...

I want everything to go smoothly for her.

Good, nice one.

You can also raise it up, yes.

Don't cover your face. Good.

Look happy.

Bright and sunny.

Good.

Beautiful.

The rearview mirror at noon

will reflect intense light.

When the wedding car reaches the turn,

the driver will be dazzled

and have their vision impaired.

There will be a momentary blind spot,

causing them to crash into a building.

Sharp, heavy objects will then fall.

The brooch

represents Ao Li herself.

She intends to cause an accident.

Her furnishings

are a preview of her crime.

Du Cheng,

I got it now.

The sun's glaring today.

Is Jingjing alright?

You didn't take that step.

[Strictly regulate fair and just procedures, legality, objectivity, and fairness]

Because there was a risk

of a major accident occurring,

we've asked you to come in to assist with our inquiries.

You learned about Yan Jingjing

and Luo Yifan's itinerary

through the alumni group, didn't you?

Why did you search for the watering schedule

of Baicui Road last night?

At nine o'clock this morning,

you went to Baicui Road

and lingered near the construction site

for more than ten minutes.

Were you planning to use

the road conditions and environment

to cause a car accident?

You calculated in advance

the time and location.

If you had rushed onto the road

and the wedding car couldn't dodge in time,

it would have swerved off the road

and crashed into the scaffolding.

If.

Maybe.

Officers,

you sure are good at making up stories.

But the second half of this story

didn't happen, did it?

What were you really doing

at Baicui Road?

Of course, I was there to send my blessings.

Only those with guilty consciences

would mistake a surprise

for a scare.

[Beijiang Branch, Beijiang City Public Security Bureau]

Yan,

I know you're anxious,

but try to calm down.

No,

but this girl Ao Li,

I originally thought

she was just a bit extreme and temperamental.

Who could have imagined

that she would be heartless enough

to do such a thing?

I dare say that

Du Cheng and the others

won't be able to get anything out of her.

This kid is just too slick.

You didn't see

how pitiful she looked

when she apologized to me before.

And now look at her.

But fortunately now,

Jingjing and the others haven't suffered

any substantial harm.

Right now, this child

is just a lunatic.

If she's let out,

I... I...

I'm afraid Jingjing won't have

any peace in her life.

Then why don't we just go all out?

How do we do that?

Dig out her true inner self

and resolve the toxic tumor in her heart.

Have Luo Yifan and Ao Li

confront each other

about what happened five years ago.
