who will be this week's targets and be at risk of elimination.

LAUREL: Nehemiah's selecting me to be

a target for the second time.

I can't catch a break. (scoffs)

-TJ: Era Three. -TINA: Cory. -NEHEMIAH: Jonna.

-TJ: Era Four. -NEHEMIAH: Jenny. -TINA: Josh.

TJ: Okay, we've got our targets.

BANANAS: Getting involved in a relationship

on The Challenge is a horrible idea.

We have Nia and Kyland,

Devin and Michele, Olivia and Theo.

And I'm all for it

because it's gonna make the other eras weaker

when their judgment gets clouded by love.

-You are so... You are... -You are, you are being an asshole

to everybody in this (bleep) house.

...screaming again. You're screaming again.

-Do you realize you're screaming again? -Because you are

-(bleep) manipulative. -Do you realize?

Cara kind of started this fight.

It's hard for me to listen to

all the things Laurel are doing wrong,

as if there's not two people involved.

-I had your back and you came at me. -Don't you say that about me!

TJ: Okay, boys, let's get it done. Good luck.

(applause)

This game is gonna get dirty.

I think players are gonna bleed, they're gonna get injured.

I mean, this game looks deadly.

-All right. Let's do it. -Make it happen, man.

TINA: Whoo...!

Looks like we nailed each other.

(laughs)

DEVIN: Tina and Nehemiah, there's a bit of construction,

actually, in Era Three we could use help with.

-I'll fix it, I'll fix it. I got it. -Oh, yeah, we got all this.

TINA: Era One is down CT

and they've gained me.

I'm not sure how my era feels about that.

I'm happy,

but we're losing way too many people.

We're on life support.

It's bad, guys.

And now Rachel's butt is on the line.

She's a target this week. So is Brad.

So we need to get in gear and start winning these things.

-I got you. (laughs) -I can nail anyone and anything.

LAUREL: Do you know when, like,

your little sister goes like this

to you?

You're in the backseat of the car,

-and then the big sister goes... -Yeah.

-And then the little sister goes, "Mom!" -Yeah.

-And then the big sister gets in trouble? -Mm-hmm.

Case in point.

BANANAS: Laurel's really put me in a spot.

Not only am I now the target with her.

She has basically the entire house against her.

But I'm just hoping that I've made enough connections.

Josh and Jenny both been nominated as targets.

I'm close with both of them outside

of this game and can rely on them

having my back usually.

LAUREL: Anyway, you have kids, so you understand

what it's like to be around children with red hair.

CARA MARIA: After everything

that's gone on with me and Laurel,

and knowing that Laurel already threw it to get rid of Emily,

there is every fiber of my being

that as soon as TJ blows the horn,

I'm sitting at the starting line.

"(bleep) you guys. Figure it out."

JENNY: No one gives a (bleep) about me in here.

-(overlapping chatter) -That's not true, Jenny.

-Why are we over here, then? -Yes, we do.

Why was no one just volunteering,

thinking, "I've not had a go yet"?

I'm the most vulnerable on our team,

and no one wants to (bleep) step up,

so guess who's gonna do it every single week. Me.

No one's gonna stick a neck out for me, not one person.

(bleep) my era.

Like, I just feel like I'm so (bleep) disposable.

I've been targeted twice now.

Meanwhile,

Michele.

She just sat there not doing anything.

I'm just annoyed that

I'm gonna be putting in all this work

more than anybody else here.

I get it. You're-you're feeling blindsided,

you're feeling really upset right now.

You're saying you don't have connections,

all this stuff. You're also going in with Josh,

who does actually have all of those things.

OLIVIA: I have to admit that Jenny has been

the scapegoat for our team recently, but unfortunately

we came in with alliances previously.

Michele is my best friend,

and Kaycee is the best female on our team,

so we just can't lose her at the moment.

Sorry, girl. It is what it is.

We are a team. We're gonna bust our ass at the challenge.

I'm gonna fight my ass off for us.

-And you have Josh. -And we're gonna (bleep) win.

KAYCEE: Jenny

complains about not having

the same amount of connections that we have.

I mean, that's the name of the game.

You need to have relationships. You can't expect people just

to come up to you and tell you everything.

Jenny just likes to be in here and talk

about... snacks...

I had six chocolate pain au chocolates

yesterday on the couch.

...her guinea pigs...

I spent an hour talking

about my guinea pigs by the pool yesterday.

Everybody knows all their names.

...working out.

I'm really muscly.

I mean, this is my life.

The gym, working out.

(laughs)

I believe in us, and I know that we can win.

So let's leave all this (bleep) right here

because tomorrow we're locking in.

Real quick. I feel like me, you, Dev and Kayce

-all have to get on the same page. -Yeah.

Like, I think

the only people outside of our core four

that I feel like would have our back...

Like, Rachel's gonna ride for us, I feel like

-Jordan's gonna ride for us. -For sure.

And Johnny-- what do you think?

Angle, yeah.

We had this alliance going with Era Three,

but then I have Johnny

and Laurel, that are really good friends, on the line.

Johnny is somebody that has been nothing but good to me.

He kind of, you know, took me under his wing.

But on The Challenge: USA 2, I did cross him.

-I'm sorry. -You put my name in?

What the (bleep) is wrong with you?

(Josh sighs)

I don't know where we stand in the game,

but I'm realizing that

I can't make everyone happy.

Obviously, you, Kaycee, Devin and I--

like, we're always gonna be like this.

-Yeah. Yeah. -We're the V.A.

Vacation Alliance, kid.

-Ah. -(laughs)

-We got to keep it alive, kid. -Yeah, we will,

we will, we will.

So we got a lot to talk about, Brad.

I don't think it's a for-sure bet,

the way that you see it, that,

oh, we'll be the automatic choice if we don't win.

If Johnny and Laurel get put in last place,

we're statistically going in against 'em.

NIA: Myself-- I have concerns now. We're a team.

We're a unit. We move as a unit.

This was Jonna's plan to go in on this next one.

To me, that was such a blatant sign of disrespect.

-AVEREY: No one wants to be a target. -I know.

AVEREY: It was, like, super selfish.

NEHEMIAH: So, right now you think that they are trying to target

-you and Jonna? -100%.

Jonna's the weight that's holding me down right now.

CORY: Tension is at an all-time high

on Era Three.

Jonna said she was going to volunteer

and then didn't

and still got chosen.

That is terrible.

This is not how I pictured me being a target-- tied to Jonna.

We need to get this win so I can protect myself.

If I had a partner that didn't make the decisions

that she made yesterday,

which rubbed a lot of people on my own team wrong.

So now I'm sitting back like, is my own team

gonna give me 100% tomorrow?

JONNA: Well,

didn't see this coming. (laughs)

Did I make you sad?

No, I just had trouble speaking up.

I never expected Nehemiah

to choose me as a target.

Honestly, I feel like Nehemiah

had a huge part in me getting my first win on All Stars 2.

Um, he should have voted me in in the end.

Because we are the tiebreakers,

our vote is unfortunately going to be

-for Darrell and Janelle. -(sighs)

JONNA: He probably would have won the whole season

had I not been there.

But it's just... it's so hard because

there's so many feelings, so many ups and downs that happened

in my life from the very beginning.

Whether it be my biological mother

who gave me up for adoption, or my adoptive parents,

the people that are closest to me are the ones

that end up screwing me over.

So, when I'm put in high-pressure situations,

I always revert back to,

"Trust no one, only trust yourself."

It's just, there's too many variables of how people can stay

in and out based on deals they make.

Like, it's just, it's risky.

Yeah, if I go in.

JENNY: I have loyalties to people on my team, but

I don't want to feel like I'm here doing all this, giving 90%,

and they're just, like, sitting back.

All you're gonna do is you're gonna

-keep helping your team win. -Well, yeah.

And then you're gonna continue being the fall person.

JENNY: The only person here

pretty much right now who I feel like

I can trust is Johnny Bananas.

I've done two seasons with him, and he has never let me down.

We are both targets, and I just hope

that we can work together

to protect each other.

I'll say this.

Michele being booed up with Devin--

-that's a bad combo, dude. -Yeah. I know.

BANANAS: She's also doing exactly what he tells her to do.

JENNY: Yeah.

I reckon that he's the one who said to her,

"Don't nominate yourself."

For sure, 100%.

Michele and I are good. We've been good for a long time.

And I'm starting to see a very concerning pattern,

which is this relationship that she has with Devin.

I just kind of want to put it on her radar

that, "Michele, you know

where this road leads."

I think she really likes him,

and he's just using her for,

-like, as a pawn in his game. -Yeah.

-BANANAS: I need to break that up, man. -JENNY: Yeah.

All right, everyone, welcome to your fifth challenge

this season of The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras.

(applause and cheering)

Congratulations to Nehemiah and Tina.

By winning the elimination,

you got the power

to select new targets for each era.

We have Rachel and Brad for Era One.

Era Two, we have Bananas and Laurel.

Era Three-- Jonna and Cory.

And Era Four-- Jenny and Josh.

So, all of their asses are on the line.

DEREK: The way that Laurel treated Cara Maria-- I can just

tell Cara Maria's fed up with it.

So it would be of best interest

for Cara Maria to throw

this challenge in order to get Laurel into an elimination.

Today's challenge is called Cloud Catcher.

As you can see, there are giant helium balloons all connected

to color-coded poles.

To begin, you're gonna select

three players to run this race. When I say "Go,"

you will race across this field,

through the obstacle,

and start grabbing your color-coded balloons.

One at a time, you'll race 'em back

and through a giant pergola.

Be safe because that pergola has a sharp roof.

It'll pop those balloons instantly.

You're going to continue this process,

connecting those balloons

to your station until all

of your era's balloons have been retrieved,

which will then raise

a giant riddle.

Solve it.

The era to solve the puzzle

with the most balloons

connected to their station

in the least amount of time will win today's challenge,

and their targets will be safe from elimination.

The losing team's targets-- straight into the Arena.

Yay! Cloud Catcher!

JORDAN: This is a great challenge for Era Three.

We've got speed,

we got brains.

Oh, and we got brawn. Let's go, Cor.

I mean, it's my turn in rotation, right?

Everybody here has stepped up to the plate.

You know, sometimes you got to take a risk,

and that's what we're doing today.

If we stay calm and composed, we can do this.

LAUREL: There definitely has been some turmoil.

I've been the center of it.

I apologized to my whole team for what happened.

I did not want it to get to that level.

The most important thing moving forward today is

that we are a team.

I think that this team right here has the capacity

to (bleep) kick ass, and I still...

I still believe in that.

Um, I'm not gonna lie.

After what happened, I definitely was like,

"I'm just gonna (bleep) sit at the starting line.

"I'm not gonna do (bleep).

"Why am I gonna fight

for someone like that?"

But then I thought about it, and I'm like,

"Maybe... maybe she's thrown challenges

in the past when it came to me."

But I don't have that in my character,

and I will not be like her.

Everyone ready?!

-Go! -(air horn blows)

TINA: Get it, boys!

CORY: The strategy today is:

protect your balloons.

(grunts)

CORY: For some reason,

Jordan thinks that speed is gonna be a factor.

All you need to do is protect your balloons.

Treat that balloon like a newborn baby.

And if anyone knows about newborn babies, it's your boy.

DEREK: Oh, it's tangled. (bleep)

-I'm tangled. -(mutters)

DEREK: For today's challenge, we need a lot

of patience and we need teamwork

and we need to be able to communicate.

Era Two definitely does not have those qualities.

We're tangled, Jordan. Be careful.

We just rush through things

as fast as we can 'cause we want to get done.

But let's get it together, you know, like, let's do this.

(yells)

RACHEL: Derrick!

(yelling)

TINA: Oh, my God.

I hear nothing but screaming...

(Derrick yells)

...and pain.

Goddamn it! I think I broke my leg.

-BRAD: Are you serious? -TINA: Oh, my God.

-BRAD: Oh, my God. -RACHEL: Can we help?

Good God.

(yelling)

(Derrick yelling)

-RACHEL: I can pull through. -BRAD: You okay, Derrick?

TINA: Oh, (bleep). Derrick's (bleep) hurt.

DERRICK: Era One had already been dropping like flies.

And guess what.

It's my turn.

-(Derrick yelling) -Hey.

-I can go through. -Are you okay?

BRAD: Derrick-- No, no, no!

Rach, Rach, turn around and help me.

DERRICK: It is like

a circus act.

Be strategic.

Oh, (bleep).

DERRICK: And I am now a part

of the carnival.

But Rachel and Brad-- we can't

risk losing them.

So I need to do everything I possibly can,

even if that means I'm gonna have

to crawl through this.

-(yells) -Tell you what, just unclip.

-No, no, I got it, I got it. Go! -Unclip, Derrick.

-I got it, I got it. -Are you sure?

Go!

TINA: Medic!

JOSH: The one thing

that we really are putting into play within our team

is that it's not about how fast we move,

but being effective and making sure

that we protect each and every balloon.

So I'm doing the best that I can

because my ass is on the line.

You got to hook it first. You got to hook it.

You got to hook it. Go!

-Okay. -Got it?

-You have to clip. -We got it.

Good job, Devin.

DEVIN: This is really

an attention-to-detail challenge.

The balloons are massive.

These things are tangled. If you drag this thing

on the ground, it's gonna pop.

If you hit a spike, it's gonna pop.

If the wind blows too hard, it's gonna pop.

And with Cory and Jonna as targets,

I don't envision

Brad or Rachel saving them.

Laurel and Bananas certainly will not.

This is a huge challenge

for Era Three or Four.

(screams)

All right, move, move, bring it,

bring it, bring it, bring it,

bring it, bring it, next person.

LAUREL: Down. Down. Down more. Down more. Down more.

CARA MARIA: I'm absolutely done

with Laurel, but when we're on the playing field,

I'm Era Two,

and with that comes Laurel.

Keep it down!

CARA MARIA: You're lucky me and Ryan

are not like you and will never be like you.

So 100% is what we're gonna give.

LAUREL: Come up, Cara.

-DEREK: You're clear. -LAUREL: Clear!

Got you, bitches. Where we at?

-Watch your carabiners. -Squat. Squat.

Hey, watch your wristbands.

-Squat. Squat. -I am.

BANANAS: Era One--

they, at this point, should just change their team name

to the Bad News Bears.

It popped in my hand.

JORDAN: You see that, Cory?

Yeah, down.

-Nia, stop! Nia! (bleep) stop! -Nia! Oh, my God.

(bleep) God. Listen!

JONNA: Even though today I'm the one

on the line, there's other people

on the team that are in charge.

-Goddamn it. -(bleep)

JONNA: Right now Era Three's

doing everything except for communicating clearly.

Hey, we got to stop (bleep) around.

Jonna, stop! Pull it down and connect it first.

JONNA: Stop yelling at me. Just go.

JORDAN: No, we can't go.

Grab it from the top. Now unclip the bottom.

Jordan, shut the (bleep) up.

JENNY: Honestly, my era-- like, I swing

from being like, "(bleep) hate them all,"

to, like, "I (bleep) love these guys."

MICHELE: Oh, straightforward.

When it comes to, like, working as a team,

everyone just seems to really want

to perform their best.

NIA: It seems like Era Two, Three and Four

are doing really well. It's probably neck and neck.

I'm trying to eyeball the other teams' balloons.

Some of them have popped floating in the air

but still count,

so it's kind of confusing to get a proper count.

DERRICK: I'm gonna finish the game.

-I got it. -Are you okay?

-Who's going? -Yeah, let's go.

-Let's go. -No hands.

RACHEL: At this point,

Derrick is now trying to run on one leg.

(groans)

RACHEL: He believes he can carry on

in true Derrick fashion.

(groans)

TINA: He really wants this.

He wants this as much

as anybody else on this team.

(groaning)

He's a balls-to-the-wall type of guy.

DEREK: Good job, Johnny.

(overlapping shouting)

Oh, (bleep).

CORY: This is

coming down to the wire

between Era Three or Era Two.

But Era Two cannot win.

Bananas and me-- we haven't liked each other

for 24 years.

The target couldn't be any bigger

on myself and my team,

so we need to win.

Just like that. Just like that.

(balloon pops)

You're good. Go, go.

That's our last one.

-You got it. -Go slow, you got it.

-JORDAN: Hold, Cory. Hold on. -AVIV: Okay.

Up! On the other side is the riddle.

It's this side.

JONNA: "I am always hungry, I must always be fed.

The finger I touch will soon be red. What am I?"

KAYCEE: We hear Era Two and Era Three figuring out

the riddle, and we're like, "Oh, my gosh, this is crazy,"

'cause we still have balloons that are out in the field.

But the amount of balloons is more important than the time,

so this is crucial

that we get these two

through the course.

JONNA: "I'm always hungry,

"I must always be fed.

The finger I touch will soon turn red."

JONNA: Just try.

Time is 7-8-1-4-6.

-7-8-1-4-6. -DEVIN: Stop. Let me try.

LAUREL: Four letters.

Rice. No. Red.

Pasta?

DERRICK: Right here, right here, right here, right here,

-right here, right here! -DARRELL: Okay, hold on.

MICHELE: Great job. All right.

JENNY: That's it, that's it.

JONNA: "I'm always hungry."

Baby? "Must always be..."

Fire, fire. Fire's hungry. Fire's hungry.

Okay. "I must always be tired." Yeah.

Fire. Fire.

Oh, yep, that's it. That's one.

NEHEMIAH: That's it?

-TORI: Yeah. -(cheering)

CORY: What did I say? What did I say?

-(bleep) yeah. -We are Green!

BANANAS: We have solved the riddle,

but Era Three also has opened their chest,

so we know we're right around the same amount of time,

and it's really difficult to determine

who has the most balloons.

Some of them are popped, some of them are dangling.

So it's anyone's guess right now

who won today.

JOSH: We can't get last place. Come on.

-Go, go, go. -Right, here we go.

No, we got it.

-Let's go. -We (bleep) got it.

RACHEL: "I am always hungry, I must always be fed."

JENNY: Wait, "I'm always hungry..."

THEO: Stop, stop.

-Fire. Fire. -(cheering)

-Yes! -Yeah!

JOSH: We have a lot of balloons up there.

I'm just hoping

we did the best job at protecting our balloons,

but I think that it's gonna be really close.

TINA: Are we last?

BRAD: Goddamn it.

-DARRELL: Did you try "fire"? -Try that.

Oh, (bleep).

TINA: That's it, that's it.

Whoo!

DARRELL: Is it too late?

(sighs)

Well done. Two and Three,

the fastest getting it done.

However, slow and steady

got the most balloons,

and that was Era Four.

(cheering)

JENNY: Winners, baby.

I'm just like, that's how I feel right now.

Especially after that low

of being targeted again

and Michele not stepping up.

How can you stay mad

at my team?

Like, those guys pulled it out the bag.

So, Jenny and Josh,

you are safe from elimination.

Era One, I'll be seeing you-- Rachel and Brad-- in the Arena.

DARRELL: I know everybody thinks that we're about to be extinct

'cause we're playing like (bleep), I get it,

but I'm at the point-- I'm desperate.

I don't care if I got to jump out of a plane, I...

Ugh.

We need a "W." I will do anything.

I don't care if we got to jump out of a damn plane.

Please don't make us jump. (laughs)

So, Laurel and Bananas, Cory and Jonna,

it's time for you to go back to the house

and plead your case in the Chamber with Jenny and Josh

why you should not be sent

into the Arena to go against Rachel and Brad.

BANANAS: When you survey the landscape here,

I've obviously got a very great relationship with Jenny.

Any other season,

I would totally have faith in Josh,

although the last time him and I

competed together, after swearing up and down all season

that my name would never come out of his mouth,

he went back on his word and put my name up for nomination.

As much as I want to have faith that Josh

is gonna look out for me,

it's anyone's guess.

CORY: At this point I'm a little worried.

Even though Era Three

and Four are working together,

it's wishy-washy with Josh.

But we know we got to get Bananas out of this game.

Brad's a strong opponent.

He's coming in, he means business,

so get Bananas down there.

Let's do this.

RACHEL: Like, we had

the proper strategy,

we just didn't have luck on our side.

-We had the odds stacked against us. -We basically did

that entire challenge with four people almost.

And kept up.

If we're not gonna be first,

I'd rather know we're going in

and not be in that Chamber room

trying to negotiate against another team

when, at the end of the day, we'd probably be picked anyway.

At this point we're not offering anybody safety,

we can't win.

And honestly, one more "L" and I'm ready for a flight.

THEO: Jenny.

MICHELE: Winner, winner.

-Chicken dinner. -I'm glad you could make this one, Jen.

-(moans) -For later.

JOSH: First off, I want to say I (bleep) love

working with y'all, man, it just feels so good

to know that, like, I have a team

that's gonna back me and I'm gonna back you guys.

So I don't even want to make this

solely my decision and Jenny's decision.

I want y'all's input, and I'm telling you,

I want to do what's best for our team.

OLIVIA: We have to think, like, long-term, like,

when are we gonna have Bananas and Laurel together?

This is the one time that our team is entirely

100% safe going against Laurel.

So, I mean, that's the time to get her out.

KYLAND: This shouldn't be a discussion.

Johnny and Laurel are two of the biggest threats in this game,

not to mention the fact that

we just built

this relationship with Era Three.

And why would we start

to go back on that?

LAUREL: I have no idea what to expect from Josh and Jenny.

Thank God that I am paired with Johnny as a target because

if it was just me with any other person

on Era Two as a target,

I would get sent in.

So I kind of want to hear,

-who do you guys want to go up against? -RACHEL: I don't feel

comfortable, like, saying specific names.

BRAD: I've got too much respect for both of these men

to actually say a name, so I just would like

to respectfully withdraw from that.

CORY: Um, I'll just jump right into it.

Jenny, I know how close you are with Bananas--

Josh, you as well-- but I feel like last time,

we started to see a little bit of shift in direction.

Eras starting to work together.

The vibe that I was getting is, One and Two

were working together, and then Three and Four

was working together.

You guys, tell me if I'm wrong.

-Uh, I will neither confirm nor deny. -(laughter)

-But that's news to me, I mean... -Okay.

CORY: I'm just here to tell you how I can provide you guys

an easier way to go farther in this game.

I came into this game with two relationships

that I believed I would never have to go to

to say, "Hey, please don't say my name,"

but that is the very reason why I'm here.

I realized at that moment, this is a new game,

and if there's any way I can help you

or Jenny in the future,

if ever I'm in that position, I will.

When I did The Challenge before,

I never made it to the end, I was always

almost there to the final.

After seeing success in The Challenge: All Stars,

I'm now back to prove that I can be

the Challenge champion.

But Rachel's a beast, so...

I'm just...

doggy-paddling, trying to stay afloat.

(chuckles)

LAUREL: We've placed first and second

in almost all of the challenges.

I'm more able to pay you back because I'm gonna win,

-most likely. -Within Era Three?

Yeah. Two.

BANANAS: Jenny, I don't need to sit here

and tell you that I have your back

and that I'm trustworthy.

that me and Jenny decided,

I know he was under a tremendous amount of pressure

What I've done now is created

this mountain of guilt

that I've set squarely on Josh's shoulders

to the point where he won't say my name,

All right. So, tonight,

you are playing To the Point.

Here's how it's gonna work.

You're each gonna have a side

inside this giant course.

There's walls on either side with spikes coming out.

There are also a line of balls.

Your goal is to throw that ball

to the opposite wall, landing onto the spikes.

Once a ball is between the wall

and the designated line, it's dead.

You're gonna keep doing this till all the balls are gone.

Now, it's your choice if you want to play offense or defense.

But keep in mind, if you're playing defense,

it's gonna be real hard to score

when you're trying to block shots.

At the end, when there are no more balls left,

whoever scored more balls onto the spikes

will win tonight's elimination and stay in the game.

Brad, Cory, you're up first. Let's go.

is reminding me

I still got it.

Over 20 years ago

when I was put on Road Rules,

it was not by coincidence.

This is meant to be in my life.

RACHEL: Era One is officially Team Road Rules.

Derrick, Darrell,

myself and Tina.

We cannot afford to lose any more players.

Can you give us one Arena off?

That's all we're asking for here-- one Arena off.

JONNA: I hate losing, but

I got to give it to Rachel.

I mean, she is a badass.

Got a family, I have two kids

that need me and...

every day I get to do exactly what I want to do.

So, I'm gonna go do that for a while.

(chuckles)

TJ: Great elimination tonight,

all of you. Rachel and Cory.

Well done. Now,

with winning comes power.

I need you two to select

one man and one woman from each era

to become the new targets.

You can select anyone you want

except for the current targets.

CORY: Yep.

And, Rachel, who off your team?

Now Era Two.

Rachel, which man?

RACHEL: I am going to go

with...

Nehemiah.

RYAN: Am I surprised by these choices? No.

I mean, Rachel wants her gays to stay,

you know, so of course Rachel

can't choose Bananas because he was the target.

Doesn't want to choose Derek,

and obviously would not choose me.

Nehemiah is clearly

the only pick that makes sense for Rachel in this moment.

And Cory?

So, we have Cara or Aviv.

Um...

I'm gonna have to go with Aviv.

-No hard feelings. -All good. Thanks.

TJ: Era Three.

-Cory? -CORY: My team,

we had somebody say that they wanted to volunteer.

Give it to me, daddy.

There it is.

There it is, she wants it.

She's got it.

And Rachel?

It's mine.

All right, there you go.

TJ: Jordan and Nia.

Love it.

Era Four. Rachel,

who do we got?

-I'll take it. -RACHEL: Okay.

Do we have a female-- Oh!

(cheering, clamoring)

MICHELE: It is my turn to step up

and trust myself to be the target.

Compared to last week,

which had Rachel and Laurel in it,

I'm feeling like Aviv, Tina,

and Nia are better options for me

to compete against. Not only that,

when I look at the people who they're linked to,

I'm feeling like there's a good shot that

as long as we don't lose, one of these teams will save us.

TJ: So, the only way

to stay out of the Arena

is what?

ALL: To win!

That's right, to win.

how many times someone won before.

gets you in The Challenge?

Absolutely (bleep) nowhere.

This is a game played amongst thieves,

and there's no honor amongst thieves.

Definitely not happy I lost.

I will say, it was an interesting game.

Those balls were a little harder to throw than I thought.

Cory outplayed me.

He had a good strategy.

Feel like I let my team down a little bit,

but at the end of the day I did my best.

That's all you can ask from yourself, so,

as long as I leave it all on the field, I walk away a winner,

and I feel like I did that.

It's truly been a blessing to be a part of season 40.

I got to meet a lot of players,

and it was really a great experience.

I'm gonna miss them.

I've got a great life waiting for me at home,

but I hope Era One can pick up

some kind of a "W" moving forward.

I wish them the best of luck with the rest of the season.

The amount of things you learn about yourself

just being a part of this is amazing.

Through the good moments, through the hard moments

and everything in between, uh, it's one of the best

learning experiences you could ever have, and, uh,

till the wheels off I'll always show up

as long as my schedule permits it. And thank you

to everybody that's been a part of this franchise.

I really love this game with every fiber of my being.

I hate losing. (laughs)

But you know what?

I got to give it to Rachel. She is a badass.

So, I mean, at least I lost to someone like her,

someone I look up to.

I'm proud of myself. Got over my fear of getting in the sand,

but, you know, I wish it didn't end here.

(air horn blows)

I feel like a lot of things happened

to get me in this position.

I never thought that, you know,

Nehemiah would say my name,

but he did. I forgive him.

Um, he's playing a game just like I was.

I can hold my head high because I am a two-time champ.

There's a lot of people up there that aren't and never will be.

You know, I've grown up on The Challenge, so,

from where I started to where I am now,

um, I can be proud of that, for sure.

Uh, and it's just an honor.

Like, I hope Era Three kills it.

Like, I hope, I hope

every single one of them does so well.

I hope Derek wins.

(laughs)

DERRICK: Challenge House is on fire.
