I walked out of the hospital

and I trained every single day.

two giant bamboo tracks

right here in the middle
of the Arena. There are also

80 jacks, 40 for each player.

To begin, you're gonna
reach in that basket

and grab a ball.

You're gonna shoot that ball
up into the track.

As your ball
is rolling down the track,

you'll only have
precious seconds

to gather as many jacks
as you can

before the ball
makes it to the end,

'cause you got to be there
to catch it

in order for those jacks
that you picked up to count.

Then you're gonna race over and
place your jacks into the board.

You'll continue this process
for 40 jacks.

Catching that ball is key,

'cause if the ball drops
and hits the sand,

all the jacks
that are in your hand--

you got to bring them over

to that bamboo line
over there

and drop them off,

and then they'll be over there
waiting for you.

And you got to run
even further to pick them up

and further back and catch
the ball, so it's gonna suck.

was my rookie season.

Didn't do too great last season,

I came in thinking

that despite

not being
a very competent competitor,

this would be the season
Josh would turn a new leaf, but

not following through
on his word,

setting me up to be a target--

It's definitely mixed emotions.

I just wished I would have

trusted myself enough.

I know, from previous shows,

go for more jacks.

give myself more credit.

and I just want to see
any other girl try and do that.

Jenny's a "stellular..."
"Stellular." She's a stellar

athlete. I could have beat her,
but the reality is I didn't.

But I sure as hell
kept the (bleep) up.

So, let that be a lesson
to everyone:

never count anybody out.

quote-unquote, "the athlete."

But, I mean, he just showed it.

I obviously wanted
to go out with-with a bang,

but it's part of the game.

I'm proud to have
represented a new era

and represented
for so many Hispanics,

the Mexicans, the Latinos,
just everybody.

I do think that
my fellow teammates

from my era will-will
be able to continue this

for a long time. They are
the future of this game.
