CORONAVIRUS: THE UNTOLD STORY

A long time ago, we enjoyed
the routine of our lives without fear.

We used to take our family to the movies.
We were going out to dinner.

We were traveling.

Never thinking about social distancing.

Not so long ago,
we were truly free.

Maybe we took everything for granted,

because all of a sudden,
that reality disappeared.

Suddenly, one of the officers breaks through
that arrest

and walks up to a viewer
with your teaser in hand,

cursing and telling him to come back.

He throws the spectator to the floor,
hitting him over and over again.

That's a metaphor.

Humanity is facing
a difficult escalation.

CHAPTER I: THE HISTORY OF PANDEMICS

PANDEMIC FATALITY COMPARISONS

When comparing the Covid-19 pandemic to the main pandemics of the modern era,

we have a larger global population now.
But with fewer fatalities.

Currently, Covid-19
pales in comparison

to other pandemics in recent history.

Comparing pandemic fatalities,

shows that with the use
of modern innovations,

such as inoculations and antibiotics,

we saw a dramatic decline
in mortality rates.

THE BUBONIC PLAGUE
“THE BLACK DEATH” 1347 - 1350

During medieval Europe,
it was a common belief

that bathing too much
could be harmful to your health.

With another outbreak of the plague in 1600,

changes have been made.
And with the church announcement

the common phrase,
“cleanliness is close to godliness”,

can be directly
attributed to the bubonic plague.

Like the novel coronavirus,

the bubonic plague was transmitted
from animal to human.

And the results were devastating.

Imagine, one day everything will be normal.

And all of a sudden, half the people
you know are gone.

The bubonic plague that decimated Europe
in the 14th century,

was spread
by flea-infested rodents,

which were transported on commercial
ships from Asia and Asia Minor.

Already with Covid-19,
modern medicine is equipped

to detect and reduce the plague,
thus protecting lives.

SPANISH FLU POST-WWI (H1N1) 1918

If we look at the 20th century, and
we look at the death chart of the 20th century.

I think everyone would say, “There must be
a peak for World War I.”

That's right, it's 25 million there.

And there must be a big spike for
World War II.

That's 65 million.

But then you'll see this other peak

which is as big as
World War II.

Right after the first one,
and most people would say:

“What? What was that?”

The Spanish flu,
an influenza virus called H1N1,

began shortly after the
First World War.

Killing about 50
million people worldwide.

Although the origins of the Spanish flu are
still debated,

soldiers from all over the world
returning home,

helped spread the
virus like wildfire.

The Centers for Disease Control,

It is estimated that 500 million people
have contracted the Spanish flu.

Nearly 1/3 of the
world's population at that time.

The Spanish flu had no vaccine
or antibiotics to treat it.

And people were forced
to be in isolation.

Which brings us to the present day.

There are now over a
million cases of coronavirus, globally.

The United States now has more
than 273,000 confirmed cases.

CHAPTER II:
SARS-COV-2 CORONAVIRUS

Covid-19 coverage
has been inconsistent,

with constantly evolving information.

This resulted in inevitable hysteria.

There are things
that we're relatively certain of,

on the effects of the virus on the human body.
And how it spreads.

Covid-19 is a respiratory flu.

The virus is transmitted
by infected individuals,

or contaminated surfaces.

The virus can be contracted
through the mouth, nose, or eyes.

The virus attacks normal gas exchange

of carbon dioxide,
and oxygen in the bloodstream.

This occurs in a network of dots

of absorption within
the lungs called alveoli.

Covid-19, in some cases, can
lead to the lethal form of pneumonia.

When the body
starts fighting the virus,

lung irritation makes breathing
difficult.

Most infected individuals,

show only flu-like
symptoms.

Most patients
who develop severe symptoms,

have underlying conditions
of a weakened immune system.

With modern health, and the
ability to communicate with the world,

that we will go quickly

CHAPTER III: CONSPIRACY THEORY

What does the world need now?
Lots of brilliant minds

are dedicated to discovering
how to stop Covid-19.

A few days ago, an Australian company

announced that it expected to start
human testing of a vaccine within weeks.

But in other countries,
especially China and the United States,

develop and own a
coronavirus vaccine

became an arms race,
biotechnological, with political connotations.

I'm not here to convince anyone.

I'm not here to put
words in your mouth,

I'm not here to put
thoughts in your head.

I'm just here to show you what
you can see with your own eyes

and then let you
decide what's true.

As with any global
event these days,

conspiracy theories inevitably
arise.

It seems that the human condition
seeks any explanation.

to increase understanding, or
worse, an excuse to place blame.

In constructing a conspiracy
theory,

there is at least one responsible party
whose desire for money or power

creates or explores an event that triggers confusion
or fear of the unknown.

THE ORIGIN OF THE THEORY

We need to go because time is
not on our side.

Actually, if there's anything positive

that can come out of the Ebola epidemic,

is it that it can serve as an early warning,

a wake-up call to get ready.

If we start now

we may be ready
for the next epidemic.

We screened for and detected
coronavirus in three bat species.

Coronavirus and SARS
are relatively close.

Because, in taxonomy,
the coronavirus detected in bats

belongs to the same species as the SARS virus.

Then we can find them both in the bat.

Will there be a surprise outbreak

And I hope that at the end of my

the virus has nothing to
do with the laboratory”.

And I have no reason to say
that she's wrong.

Unfortunately, I also have no reason
to say that she's right.

I don't know, and China is
not the kind of country

that I would accept a confession.

That one of their own laboratories
was to blame

for all these deaths and destruction.

When researching the origin of this virus,

we have to start in Wuhan, China.

The Chinese government linked the virus
to a local Wuhan municipal market.

In 2015, researcher
Shi Zhengli stated

that the
SARS-like coronavirus derives from bats.

To date, no bats have
been sold at this market.

In 2014, the Obama administration

suspended direct funding for
the Wuhan Institute of Virology,

due to growing fears of
the development of synthetic viruses.

During a recent White House
press release,

The president was asked about
a 3.7 million dollar grant

funding Shi Zhengli
's research in Wuhan.

We instructed that if there is a subsidy, it
is going to that area.

We've been looking
literally for about an hour,

and also early in the morning.

The Wuhan Laboratory
is less than ten miles from the market.

most advanced laboratories in China,

developing eight coronaviruses
with multiple protein inserts.

In 2019, the Wuhan Institute of Virology

was part of a 3.7
million dollar grant from the NIH,

to understand the risk of coronavirus outbreak
in bats.

Shi Zhengli is a co-author of a paper

who asked to continue
research on synthetic viruses.

It is reported by various sources,
including his own speeches,

that it started creating viruses in 2007.

Leading to the question
everyone is asking, why?

In 2015, she stated that the virus

it couldn't naturally bind
to human cells.

What we know about this coronavirus
is that protein S is related

to the present in HIV.

The presence of this protein
does not occur in natural mutations.

So, it's pretty clear that
this virus was manipulated.

This family of viruses was manipulated,
and studied in a laboratory,

where the animals were taken.

And that was launched. On purpose, or not.

This cannot occur naturally.

Nobody went to the market,
and they caught a bat.

The virus didn't jump directly
to humans, that's not how it works.

That's accelerating viral evolution.

If it were a natural occurrence, it
would take up to 800 years to occur.

This occurred starting with
SARS1 within a decade.

This doesn't occur naturally.

PATIENT ZERO

We also have new information this evening,

the origins of coronavirus.

Various sources say this

from the Wuhan laboratory.

We tried. Do you remember,
from the first days

we tried to place our scientists,
and specialists in the field there,

but we weren't able to do that.

The Chinese Communist Party would not allow
that to happen.

We now know that
China concealed information,

and data on the severity of coronavirus,

that had been circulating in Wuhan
since the fall of 2019.

We also know that China has

a level four biosafety laboratory
.

Which was not far from the Municipal Market,

that the Chinese identified
as the origin of the virus.

One theory is that the radiation from the 5G network

is harming
the human immune system,

allowing the virus to spread.

It has been noticed that the radiation of the 5G network

It's on the opposite end of the spectrum

of harmful
forms of radiation, such as x-rays.

Another theory is that the virus
doesn't really exist,

and that all of this is an elaborate fraud.

Maybe the 5G towers are
causing the symptoms.

So the 5G story is complete
and utter rubbish.

It's absurd. It's the worst kind of fake news.

The reality is that mobile phone networks

They are absolutely critical for all of us,
particularly at one time

When do we ask
people to stay home

and not seeing relatives and friends.

But in particular, these are
also telephone networks

that are used by our
emergency services

and our health professionals.

And I'm absolutely outraged,

Hello, my name is Ayse Deniz.

I'm originally from Turkey.

I'm a pianist, I've lived in London,
and then in LA.

And now I'm quarantining
with my family.

I've been doing a lot of live shows
on Facebook.

I'll do some on YouTube,
and also on Instagram.

As a musician,
I feel like it's our responsibility

keep society positive.

And to create a community,

where people can support
each other.

And that together we
can support health professionals.

Music is a wonderful platform,

that I always use for those occasions.
To bring people together.

I think it's beautiful to see people's reactions

who has participated in these interactive
live broadcasts.

I have received a lot
of positive reactions from around the world.

Including doctors and nurses, who
are thanking me for these moments

that they access and forget about Corona.

Even if it's just for a short time.

So it was an honor to participate

at this difficult time.

I don't know what we would do
if we didn't have music, painting, movies.

Different things to occupy
your mind during that time.

I think to be honest,
my life was moving very fast.

And I didn't have much time
to like to think,

and be inspired and
ponder things.

But yeah, I have to sit down
and think about it.

I thought, this thing is kind of serious.

So how do I want to talk?

Every time I get inspired by something, I think,
how do I want to say that?

And where do I want to go with my art?

What do I mean
by my art during this period?

I looked at my notebook,

where I write all my commissions.

And I remember my cousin saying,
“I want you to do a painting for me.”

I started thinking about this painting,
and I was like, “interesting.”

She's a nurse.

And he actually hired me to do
this painting well before that started.

She told me that her favorite
character is Wonder Woman.

So I thought, “this is cool.”

But after that pandemic started,

I was like, “this is kind of deep.”

She's a nurse,
and Wonder Woman is a superhero,

And again, that's all
before they start saying

about nurses
being superheroes, on TV.

They're on the front line,
they're the soldiers now.

I started painting this painting,
and it took on a new meaning for me.

I was like, “this is serious,
she's on the front line.

She's like Wonder Woman now.”

When I started this painting,
people started responding online.

I was posting her process.

When I started to make progress,
they were like...

People were texting me.
Other nurses,

different people,
who were talking about how it happened.

How impactful it is, and how special that is.

Through this work,
this has given people hope.

And for me, it's something I
've always wanted to do as an artist.

Give people hope.

Regardless
of what's happening in the world,

I felt like my work was here
to give to people.

In other words, to bring light to darkness.

HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON

Many of the artists I spoke with,

are focusing
on recording during that time.

But that doesn't pay your bills,
or it puts food on the table.

There's no certain answer
for when this is going to end.

When are you going
to start scheduling shows again,

and when will life continue again.

I woke up with only emails,
and Facebook messages

of people in our community saying,

“what are you going to do?
How can we help?

Can we help you in any way
during this time?”

Just giving us ideas of
a different direction to take, maybe.

It's just the outpouring of love and support.

Since we took office in November,
until now, we haven't been able to stay open.

I think there's a lot of hope in this city.
Lots of love and support.

People want things to change
in this city when we get out of this.

We were flooded with uncertainty.

What does this mean?
How are we going to deal with this?

How are we going to handle this?

And then we're done with them all

minimization scenarios that we are still
in.

For the first time we could see the streets,

that were totally deserted.

We're in this together.
We've heard that phrase several times.

We're all in this together.

We want our brothers and sisters,

it doesn't matter what your faith is.

We want everyone to come out stronger,

and come out better.

When we get together again, it's
going to be wonderful.

How can we take
all freedom for granted?

What did we take for granted before that?

We know that we should take care of each other.

Although things aren't
likely to come back

exactly what they were.

We can bring them to a better place.

We're human,
we have to share this place.

As if there was no point
in fighting over stupid things.

HOPE INTRANSITIVE VERB

NURTURE A DESIRE WITH ANTICIPATION

WANTING SOMETHING TO HAPPEN,
OR FOR IT TO BE TRUE

Over the course of this difficult battle,
we got closer to a day

when will we be free to
walk through the crowds.

But what has humanity learned
in its isolation?

Humanity has found
new ways to unite.

UNITE WITH LOVE

From the artist, to the stadiums
that we are going to fill once again.

The heroes we dream of being.

The lost lovers, the mothers and fathers.

The kids playing without fear.

When we come together, even when separated,

we can do that.

We'll find a higher path together

to be truly free.

Now,

MANY COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD
ARE STARTING TO OPEN UP THEIR ECONOMIES

WE ASK THAT YOU CONTINUE TO
FOLLOW THE PROTECTION GUIDELINES.

TO PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE,
A SECOND WAVE IS INEVITABLE.

If I were the devil.

If I were the devil.

If I were the prince of darkness,

I would like to engulf the
entire world in darkness.

It would have a third of its properties,

and four-fifths of its population.

But I wouldn't be happy until I had

the most ripe apple on the tree.

With that,

I mean, it would be necessary
to take care of the United States.

First, it would subvert the churches.
A whispering campaign would begin.

With the wisdom of a serpent.
I would whisper to you like to Eva.

“Do what you want.”

To young people, I whisper
that the Bible is a myth.

I would convince them that man
created God, not the other way around.

In secret,
I would tell them that what's bad is good.

And what's good is out of fashion.

I would teach the elderly how to pray.

The Lord's Prayer, who is in Washington.

And then I would organize myself.

It would teach writers how to make exciting sensational
literature,

so that anything else
would seem boring and uninteresting.

It would fill the TV with dirtier movies
and vice versa.

It would provide drugs for everyone.

I would sell alcohol
to different ladies and gentlemen.

I would reassure the rest with pills.

If I were the devil, I would put families
at war with themselves.

The churches at war with themselves.
And the nations at war with each other.

Until every single one of them was consumed.

I would promise the press
the highest ratings,

it would have mesmerizing media,
fueling the flames.

If I were the devil, I would encourage
schools to refine young intellects.

But to neglect discipline, set
them free.

Before they knew it, they
would have drug-sniffing dogs

and metal detectors on
every school door.

Within a decade,
prisons would be overflowing.

They would have judges promoting pornography.

Then they could kick God out
of court, out of school,

of the Congress and the Senate.

In the churches, it would
replace religion with psychology

and would deduce science.

Would encourage priests and pastors

to abuse boys and girls.
And keep the money from the churches.

If I were the devil, I would make
the Easter symbol just an egg.

And the Christmas one, a bottle.

If I were the devil, I would take those
who have and give it to those who wish to have.

To the point of killing the incentive of your ambitions.

Do you want to bet that I would make
every state

would they promote gambling
to get rich?

I would warn against extremes,

and I would work hard on patriotism,
on moral conduct.

I would convince young people
that marriage is old-fashioned.

That “staying” is more fun.

What you see on TV is the way of being.

And so, I could undress them in public.

It could lure them to bed
with diseases for which there is no cure.

In other words, if I were the devil,

he would just keep doing
what he's doing.
