cabin...the one that nearly killed me.

My sister just told Rafe Hernandez that she didn't set

that fire. >> JJ: Why am I not surprised?

>> Ciara: Yeah. Ben didn't do it. I know, I was there.

Somebody else had to have done it.

>> Haley: Claire smokes? >> JJ: Not that I know of.

>> Kayla: Hey. >> JJ: Hey.

>> Claire: Wow. I seriously can't believe that you're about

to bail on a romantic evening with your girlfriend to go check

Haley is really upset, all right?

I told you Jack and Eve showed up at the loft, and they were

expecting me to be there and when I wasn't, they started

harassing Haley about how our engagement must not be real.

>> Claire: Oh, gee, I wonder what gave them that idea?

>> Tripp: I thought you were on board with this--I mean, you

you wanna help Haley, right? >> Claire: Yes, yes, I am, I

it's just this weird coincidence.

I was with Haley earlier and, uh, we had to put something in

Claire's jewelry box. And when we did, we found a

lighter... the exact same kind Ben used

back when he was holding Chad and Abigail at the cabin.

>> Kayla: The kind he used to set it on fire.

>> JJ: The bed. Yeah. Now, finding out that Jordan's

saying she didn't set the other fire, I keep going back to

seeing that lighter in Claire's jewelry box.

>> Kayla: Are you suggesting that Claire might have set that

fire? >> Claire: What do you mean?

Why can't I go with you? >> Tripp: Look, I-I'm sorry, but

with Jack and Eve all over us, maybe it's--maybe it's best if

you just stay here tonight. >> Claire: Oh, my God, you

we were working Chad and Abigail's kidnapping.

>> Kayla: [huffs] Claire involved in something

like this? It doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, showing up at the loft really freaked Haley out, and so

she decided to call Tripp all upset, and then Tripp decided to

leave me to go comfort her. Yeah, and now my amazing,

romantic evening that I spent so much time planning is all

ruined! >> Jack: Well, uh, we had some

really poor timing going there, but it couldn't be avoided.

>> Eve: Yeah, we had to lay the groundwork for our big reveal,

right? [phone rings]

>> Jack: Oh. Ah, excuse me.

>> Eve: Honey, honey, we are sorry that this ruined your

special evening, but we didn't know that Tripp was gonna leave

you here alone and run after Haley.

And, uh, I want you to know that I'm honored to be marrying

[small laugh] You may think that you're doing something noble,

but I'm warning you, ICE is gonna be all over you two.

>> Kayla: Unless what? >> JJ: Well, Ben was living at

the loft for a while. Maybe the lighter is his, and he

decided to put it in the jewelry box to--to hide it...for

>> JJ: I need to talk to Claire, see if this lighter is somehow

connected to Ben. I need to find out what happened

at that cabin.

>> Haley: So...what are you doing here?

Aren't you supposed to have a romantic getaway with Claire?

>> Tripp: I-I was, but when you called, you seemed really upset,

so I wanted to come check on you.

>> Haley: Well, w-where's Claire?

>> Tripp: Claire's staying at the Salem Inn tonight.

>> Haley: But--but you're here. >> Tripp: Mm-hmm.

>> Haley: I bet she wasn't too happy about that.

came and ambushed you again. >> Haley: I really shouldn't be

throw me under the bus. >> Tripp: Yeah, well now they're

>> Haley: It was really sweet of you to come back here tonight,

but...it looks like the coast is clear, so you're good to head

the old groundkeeper's place. He clearly hasn't been here

in ages. He has a family now, so he

>> Ben: Yep. Got a lot of privacy now.

check it out--did a clean sweep of the whole grounds, the home.

I get it. Uh...I'm hoping you can put that

aside because there's something important I need to talk to you

And I'll need you to reopen the investigation.

There is something else that, uh, Jordan claims that I need to

follow up on. >> Hope: What?

>> Rafe: [light laugh] >> Hope: What other bombshell

did Jordan drop? >> Rafe: Jordan now claims

she has a baby. >> Hope: [laughs]

>> Claire: I can't do this anymore, Eve--I need this stupid

engagement to be blown up right now.

>> Jack: I'm sorry, Claire. We cannot do that.

>> Eve: [groans] >> Claire: What do you mean,

that we need to wait to release the video until after Haley and

Tripp have had their "official" meeting with ICE and they've

will be more damning, not to mention there'll be a bump in

Um, JJ was so furious at his dad, and I hated seeing him go

after him like that. >> Tripp: Well, his dad kinda

deserved it, don't you think? >> Haley: Maybe, but...I feel

like if it weren't for this situation that he and his dad

might have a decent relationship.

>> Tripp: You really care about JJ.

>> Haley: Yeah. Yeah, of course I do.

You know, he and I have gone through so much, and he's

actually the first person I confided my secret to.

Well, second after Dr. Evans. But it's also because of him

that this secret... that this thing I've kept hidden

for so long got exposed. >> Tripp: Well, you gotta know

how bad he feels about that. >> Haley: Yeah, yeah, no, I do.

But... [small laugh] all I can think

about is how betrayed I feel. >> Tripp: So what are you

saying, that you don't think you and JJ could ever have a

future together? >> Haley: No.

I don't. >> Kayla: How are things going

with the Haley situation? I know how upset you are with

your dad for outing her like that.

>> JJ: Upset wouldn't even begin to cover it.

>> Kayla: Yeah, I know. Listen, if it makes you feel any

better, I really let him have it.

>> JJ: I just can't believe that the man who's stirring up all

this trouble and making Haley's life a living hell is my dad.

Assisted by Eve, of course. I really don't feel like they

should get away with what they've done.

>> Kayla: Well, let's just hope it...backfires on them.

>> JJ: Yeah. All right, thank you, Kayla.

>> Kayla: Anytime.

>> Hope: Jordan claims she has a baby.

>> Rafe: Yeah. Yeah. That she left with a friend in

California. >> Hope: Wait. How do you know

any of this is true? >> Rafe: I don't. I don't.

But, uh, right now, I'm the only one she seems to trust.

Which is why she told you about the baby.

>> Rafe: Not only did she tell me about it, but she asked me if

I could find him. Her baby boy.

And, uh...I promised her I would.

>> Eve: [softly] Hey... Why are you so worried

that you are gonna lose Tripp? You know their relationship is

just a sham. And we are gonna prove it,

that way, but... what if they actually end up

falling in love? And then they don't get in

trouble with I.C.E. but... instead, they end up...

getting married and really happy and...what if I end up alone?

>> Eve: You know there were times when she was so cheery and

optimistic. But then there were also times

that she was filled with all kinds of self-doubt, always

worrying about the "what-ifs" and the "maybes".

It was my job as the parent to assure her

that everything is going to be okay.

>> Claire: Well, my mom can't really help me.

She's far away. >> Eve: I know.

was worried about me losing my job and our marriage.

that he would resign is because he knows that Abe's gonna fire

You think that Jordan's got me wrapped around her finger, and

meanwhile, Ted, he's doing a complete snow job on you.
