so when the opportunity came up,

With the help of our project

of builders, we've completed
the kitchen and the bathrooms.

surface in preparation

for our gorgeous floor tiles.

But it's not a labour of love.

Normally this would arrive
and be pumped in from a lorry

outside and we'd fill this room
in no time.

But, in this instance, because we
can't get a lorry nearby,

what we're having to do is mix it
all by hand in the room next door,

bring it in in wheelbarrows,
pour it and lay it all by hand.

A couple of days later,
the floor is set,

so we're heading to the build
for a lesson in plastering.
