you sure it's not Addington I'll take it

mr. Addington yes I know I'm calling

about Helmut foie gras no of course not

I hope to be in touch with me I mean

you're the editor when you promised it

excuse me mr. Addington may I ask what

this is in reference to to us I'm afraid

I had to make room for another editorial

creature I'm afraid I don't have that

article sir I'll call up helmet and get

it I'll try to find him he hasn't kept

in touch what has he quit did you fire

him no no he's still under contract to

us don't worry sir you'll see that third

article very soon yes I'm sure I will

deniz get me connections to Rotterdam

and make it fast

tell me your highness

I never know how to address royalty

satella feet 1959 I recommend

picks

my dear despite a song terribly impose

but trust me I'm not an impulsive man I

want to ask you to

Brook excuse me

you could have paged me I did it's time

to node to the table waved to me from

across the room I tried I could have

been a princess Nicky he bought his

title on the 23rd of August 1989 at

Sotheby's for $250,000

well we're going Rotterdam

hmm maybe

yes juleps we are looking for a writer

who's late for a deadline but there's a

little more to it than that

well I'm all yours boss Hamlet burglar

is an ambitious young writer whose zest

for horticulture is only exceeded by his

rabid radical convictions could it be a

bit of a nutcracker

yes fired from his last job for finding

out too much about some of the

advertisers so you obviously think that

burglar was sticking out more than chips

I don't know miss it bird important

enough to fly out there immediately

no editor flies 8,000 miles just to pick

up a story right but you're gonna send

us you're already on your way

the last place Vogler stayed was the

hotel vanmeer he hasn't been seen in

four days but he hasn't checked out

either

I'll send JJ the information I have well

a couple of days in the Netherlands why

not you know this guy's got a wall why

can't they go to Tahiti

oh why I mean you know someplace

interesting for your information Luke

what's a dam is the home of the Garden

of Earthly Delights oh yeah maybe I

should have brought my dancing shoes

that's not a nightclub look it's a

painting by Hugh Rowland was mush

harmonious Bosch know who that is

that's the guy who paints his bad dreams

no I can relate I've had a lot of bad

dreams okay you two let's get back to

business I needed to check out Vocalist

hotel and I am going to embark upon a

slightly more dangerous mission what are

you gonna do

I'm going to infiltrate the notorious

flower gangs have brought about

professor my hope yes thank you so much

for taking the time to see me

what can I do for you mr. Buckley Mr

Barclay well I'm writing a series of

articles on juleps you only have to

mention the word chill it anywhere in

Holland the only response to smile

that's very flattering it's always

gratifying that one's work appreciate I

must say this is all very impressive the

way over my head it's just chemistry

chemistry and tulips an interesting

combination for me chemistry is an

exercise for the brain and flower

rightfully you know coincidentally

friend of mine was doing a series of

articles for international focus

magazine you may have met him his name

was Ferg low helmet per glass but to

meet him in Amsterdam oh yeah I made an

appointment to see me last Thursday I

believe you never came

that sounds like heaven where I met up

with some young lady and decided on her

and Paris against both of us with the

brain and the heart nice to getting to

sound like an article that my editor

would get the writing for its time

that's the thing I'm very short oh well

never mind but while I'm here

perhaps I could see some of your famous

children's I'm afraid not mr. Bokka I

had a very bad year all my true lives -

I'm so sorry to hear that that's

terrible I have an abundance right now

and if that helmets have happened to get

in touch you think you can ask them to

give me a call I'm staying at the hotel

vanmeer naturally

thank you goodbye

we're sure this is helmets room yes I

can't use head of those getting that is

one thing knowing how to use them

so are we looking for anyway bulbs seeds

where's Helmut what are you done with

him we haven't done anything miss it

bird where did you last hear from him

I'm not told you anything did you tell

me who you are reforms of helmets this

was mailed to you six days ago from

helmet Ferg ler just one slider no story

look he was doing a story on tulip

thought that's all I know what's going

on

I know Vogler well enough to know he

doesn't have any friends like you I

think that's a compliment thank you

well the least you can do with town

don't worry luck as soon as we find out

you'll get an exclusive we're gonna stay

in touch with you

she obviously knows more than she's

ninety-nine in the meantime I'm gonna

find a tape recorder

nice work thanks you take that that's

the point I don't know what he knows he

just said he was a friend of the

reporter bothnia don't worry about him

I'll take care of everything like you

took care of Vogler I don't like this

courts look man in 72 hours

our friends in the oil cartel will have

transferred the money to the Swiss

accounts at that time you can tell them

anything you like however

if you care about your health

I strongly advise you to shut up

yes we have a visitor helmets editor

miss sit back mm-hmm

what do you think she knows probably not

much more than we do otherwise she

wouldn't be searching his room she was

kind enough to loan us some research

materials

how about professor my own but he says

you never met with Helmut sure it seemed

very shaken do you think my half-killed

helped I think helmets dead yes I think

the Meyerhoff killed him no i don't but

i think he's invoking something and

whatever it is has gone horribly wrong

it definitely has something to do with

tulips your instincts my research would

use helmets and bees to Lorraine I guess

the story was supposed to follow now you

know this is very interesting because

Maya Hoff said all his students died now

what apology accepted

now if you'll excuse me excuse me but

you've got an expense account don't you

I think you're sticking out for lunch

and just what makes you think I'd want

to have anything to do with you oh come

on where are your journalistic instincts

no do you want to find out what I know

and you're gonna tell me maybe find a

few to try them

silly you know that picture I sent you

on the laser wha

but helmet obviously thought it was

important not to send it to his editor

look your father's the chu'lak

connoisseur have him look at it now you

got any else for us yeah okay give it to

me g b7 v bc caught it

yeah yeah okay goodbye listen to this

you wanted tulips on the Rhine I found

the big blooms and trust me they're not

the only thing growing around here I've

got the story

I bet the pictures and I'll be back in

Los Angeles

there's background noise after he

finished speaking I was right he wasn't

cut off that's where it happened

you mess about a helluva story but the

story I put the pictures and I'll be

back an awesome ringing sound

and I'll be back in Los Angeles yeah

there every nautical boy has a

distinctive ring sound so when the

pilots can navigate in the dark oh by

the way that's helmets car rental

license number he still hasn't turned it

in yeah hi JJ yeah look I need all the

nautical charts for the Rotterdam Harbor

I'm looking for a boy yeah one long two

short yeah and I'll be with you in an

hour I was hoping we could go someplace

a little more elegant oh come on this is

elegant huh

excuse me could you uh just bring us a

couple of beers Knitting guts elegant

you know you are the type to terrorized

women in hotel once it'll be quite

attractive you shouldn't judge me from

our first meeting and you took the gun

away from me it's like I was a kid like

you've done it a lot I'm good at a lot

of different things

you know what's happened to helmet

Vogler don't you lady if I knew why

about have you checking out his hotel

room maybe I was wrong

maybe you are a friend of helmets after

all yeah

you're not gonna answer any of my

questions are you why are you talking

look I'll tell you what why don't we

continue this bizarre conversation back

in my room okay

so you pay the check and I'll write back

are you free yeah yeah

Luke is keeping an eye on mrs. Berg

Nicki is looking for a boy one filled

with information I hope there's a

nautical boy one that sings it's on the

ride it works channel it sounds it

couldn't be more than half a mile from

where helmet made his call to Lorraine

which was probably about six days ago

judging from the postmark on the letter

he sent with the children also helmet

did keep in touch with mr. Cedric yes

and sent her flowers mr. Edington that

appears to be in a chapter on a Japanese

sis on this plumage up tomorrow Japanese

beetles thank about

Peter scan the original would you now

magnify that

see the happiness well it looks like a

perfectly ordinary little bucket to me

the bug is not the issue

pull back which means that the two of

them must be the size of your head how

does a tulip get that big

radiation

oh you didn't come just for me repeater

no that's not true anything I never

could get a straight answer from you

that's cause you never asked the right

question I just like having you around

that's all that's not good enough so how

do you been keeping you well yes I am

this looks like our man

how much vaguely I don't need anything

you just been missing for almost a week

I see the body without the proper

clearances impossible I suppose they

would take a very long time

it's very cold down with do it quickly

ll cost you dinner a late dinner just as

soon as I'm free promise with candle

oh no doubt about it it was folklore

right he's been dead for almost a week

radiation killed a mess oddly puncture

at the heart caused by a hard steel so

now we're left with corpse and a freak

flower it's quite obvious Meyerhoff add

something to it both of them you know he

doesn't strike me as being a murderer

however I'm going back out to the plant

and if I get a radioactive read I think

I've got enough to force it down no need

to worry about Luke and Nicole I suppose

no that's high

we have an information

right there

hey what are you doing here I have an

appointment with professor miles no

visitors allowed today professor

actually in today professor we have to

talk talk about what I already told you

I don't know your friend foger and I

don't have the time to discuss tulips

don't even ones that a 3 feet tall

so you didn't trust me all along

should I have maybe not

how long do you think you can keep me

prison here well I don't see any bars

who needs bars when they've got an armed

guard prisons present huh detective

custody

so what does that make you what do you

want me to be they haven't decided yet

relax I just wanted to see what prison

foods like okay hello this is room three

one two could you please send up two

beers your expense account

excuse me make that champagne I know

you're at LV I hate don't forget all

this I'm not a chalice but I am in a

position to help you

I can't take all this any longer you may

not have to but then I dropped in for a

visit

mayor of who knows what you would have

done so chip

boxing

you made this easy man I thought I was

going to have to hunt you down

JJ any word from Peter how long since

you heard from him that's not like him

what did he find out radiation

I'll get back to you but please call me

if he checks it come on Luke answer

we've got a problem

Peter hasn't reported in yet Nicki he's

a big boy you can take care of himself

it's been three hours

so what did he go my house factory it

has something to do with burglar and the

radiation we've got to get out there

okay okay well I'm coming with you who

are you working for I've told you I

write for magazines

you are the first journalist I ever met

who carries a gun and a Geiger counter

times have changed

since you are so interested I can

arrange a tour for you get as close as

you like

both lines dead

is there any other way out of here most

areas of the factory are contaminated

because of radiation and I think Curtis

and his men have covered all the exits

and professor before guts comes back

you're gonna have to tell me everything

you know I still can't figure out the

connection between my house factory in

the warehouse that Lorraine led us to I

mean I had Suzanne check it out

he turns out that the warehouse is

leased to a man named cuts who is the

usual term is industrial spy

so curds probably found out that our

friend helmet was sniffing around and

then he offed them right this my Huff

must be something to have so many people

working on his Sunday process was

foolproof until I began to stock the

byproducts then I noticed the abnormal

size of the tubes then quarts shoulder

are you ready

get your act down

let's go charm Oh sir

excuse me sir but sir juris we've gotten

lost you know we're trying to find this

place

portes was very persuasive when he found

out about the side effects she presented

himself as my new part he was going to

help me out of my difficulties I'll keep

the engine running

so tell me if quits knew about the waste

and they also knew the problem with the

fuel the cells of the fuel fast the

cartels tests with flying colors as long

as he keeps the radioactive byproducts

secret courts will collect half of the

200 million dollars they were willing to

pay of course all they want is to make

sure it never sees the light of day

big paid a full minute stays in the safe

and no one any of the wiser as Kurtz

covers up his tracks

but what's he doing with a radioactive

materials these can happen I'm happy to

report the Joe curiosity will be

satisfied mr. Bobby firsthand

other than ocean by itself no one course

you can't dump radioactive waste in the

middle of the ocean

those barrels should last a great deal

longer than my lifetime and certainly a

great deal longer than y'all and to make

sure that nothing goes wrong

I'm sending you two alone it's that God

mr. Kutz

this is where I leave you a little bit

oh yeah

which out Nikki Brooke guy the gray hair

white lab coat on I've gotta go

I'm going after you

whole it

easy take it easy come on little girl

they're gonna shoot at you I'm sorry

showing yourself

the only thing I'm unsure is whether I'm

going to shoot you in the left leg or

the right

come on I guess we gotta make crazy Joey

I'm phoning the police they'll be very

interested to know what mr. Kurtz was

planning what about me don't worry

professor you were coerced we'll do

everything we can to help you

Anneliese listen I've got a freighter in

Rotterdam Harbor full of radioactive

material see then you can discreetly try

and clean it up for me hey I'll get you

the name with India

okay tonight

with candles

by the way how did you keep Lorraine

from tagging along Lorraine I am alright

mr. wiseguy here's the way I see it I

came here to get an exclusive expose

okay now you can either go to jail or

you can give me my exclusive expose and

I want everything all the details out in

the open

everything mm-hmm some piece of work

we see sir it was like this come on Luke

nine times expensive

well that Lorraine she was bent on on

getting a story exposing something she

essentially was right so well I I

figured I figured the best way to

protect the team would be for me to

sacrifice myself that way I wouldn't

expose the team I'd expose myself

no matter how deep will you try to bury

the truth

it always manages to

work its way through
