Forever in your debt, oh mighty God. What are you seeking in return?

Her child.

Should I make coffee?

Don't cry.

- You'll disturb the child. - Leave me alone.

- Come in for a cup of tea. - No.

- Has Nav returned? - It has.

This will pass too.

It always does.

But It won't come back again.

This is the end.

Father has made a deal with Veles.

A child for Nav.

Our child?

Mine. Not yours.

What are you talking about?

It's our baby, Ana.

Is it not?

Stop! Please stop!

The mighty and all-knowing Veles knows the path to Nav.

I pray to Veles to keep my innocent soul safe from evil spirits during slumber.

Keep my dreams safe and my thoughts innocent.

I pray for prophetic dreams of safe future and peace in my heart.

May my dreams be as peaceful as those of a child.

May it be so.

Glory to Veles.

Nav will return again.

Glory to Veles.

There's no running from this.

I am not running away from this.

I saw the devil near the bar.

I almost killed him with a knife.

- When? - Just now.

- But it was Nav who got in, not the devil. - Leave it alone.

I will kill him. I will take care of everything.

He will kill you first. Leave it.

I will slit his throat. I won't leave it.

Leave it, I said.

And Nav?

What about him?

He doesn't know anything?

No. If he knew, he would ruin everything.

Exactly.

And that's why you'll tell him.

Everything.

What are you doing? Let it go.

Go back to sleep.

Stay calm, Jakov.

- Jakov... - I can't.

I can't do it.

We'll find the child elsewhere.

You know very well it must be of our blood...

And I am getting old.

There's no turning back now.

Jakov.

Do you know why we're doing this?

I know.

So Nav doesn't come back ever again.

- Glory to Veles. - Glory to Veles.

Glory to Veles.

Glory to Veles.

Hello.

Remember.

Remember.

Nav can bring endless suffering.

For he is not a devil, nor an angel.

Nav can alter destinies.

If Nav is not treated right, Nav comes back for vengeance.

Remember.

Get in the house.

- Let the kid go, Jakov! - Be quiet!

Let me go!

You cursed man, what have you done to your own child?

Shut up!

You shut up, you fucking disgrace!

- Nav will find out everything. - Be quiet!

Go on, tell him. Tell him, you fucking pussy!

Let him know the truth, if you dare!

The child... is not mine.

It's not mine!

Dad!

- What are you doing, Boki? - Dad!

Dad, go get the gun!

Dad!

Glory to Veles.

Glory to Veles.

No. No!

Ana. No.

Not my Boki. No, please!

Remember... Remember!

Remember!

We are forever in debt. What are you seeking in return? Our mighty God.

Forever. Forever in your debt.

- I know a man. - Ana, be quiet.

He will not come near you.

Oh mighty God. Our mighty God.

Or he won't live to see another day.

Nav will return again.

What are you seeking?

Oh mighty God.

NAV

Ana!

Ana!

Ana!

Ana, come back!

Ana!

Ana!

Keep quiet.

It's all your fault! Your fault!

It's your fault...

It's all your fault.

Keep quiet.

Begin.

Let the mighty Veles...

wise and honest,

gift us with eternal rest from Nav.

Oh, mighty God,

watching over us,

let this gift of ours be enough for you.

Let our fate be in your hands.

- Glory to Veles. - Let this strong child...

Oh God... Let this strong child be a worthy sacrifice!

No!

Please!

What have we done to our poor child...

Move. Get!

Eat.

You eat if you can.

Knowing our child is lying in her grave because of us.

Because of you.

My whole life I gave my all for this house of yours.

Like a slave.

You always had a meal ready, you had clean clothes.

I washed your dirty underwear.

I took care of you as if you're a king.

I never said a word or doubted why and what you are doing.

And your hands are bloody,

with innocent souls on them.

Damn you!

- You're a disgrace! - Enough!

What? I won't stop.

I will get everything off my chest.

Everything I have remained silent about!

Your father didn't let you have the house?

Tell me, was it more important than us?

Enough, I said!

You didn't make a deal with God.

You made a deal with the devil.

And the devil comes for its toll.

Let this be a worthy sacrifice.

Mighty Veles, may my body be the path to Nav!

- Natalija! - Glory to Veles!

Ana?

It's my house!

Come!

Face me!

Come! Face me!

Mighty Veles, gift us with eternal rest from Nav.

Natalija!

Let our fate be in your hands.

Natalija!

Glory to Veles.

Where are you?

Come back!

Show yourself!

Enough.

Enough!

Enough!

Enough!
