[Under the Skin Ⅱ]

[Episode 13]

Something's happened.

The fire trucks are here.

Whose house is it?

Excuse me.

Please, make way.

Excuse me, thank you.

Are you sure there are

hydrogen storage tanks

inside?

Yes.

What do you suggest?

If there really are

hydrogen storage tanks inside,

if there's an explosion,

the massive shockwave created instantly

will have unimaginable consequences.

Come, let's die together!

Come!

Let's die together!

The door is locked!

The door is locked.

Huang Tao, calm down.

Calm down.

I'll tell you the truth.

Ruan Fangfang.

All along,

this was just a show

that you put on.

Huang Tao,

you've been deceived by her.

There was never any molestation.

Back then,

she was the one who instigated you to set the fire.

She was found by Dong Yidan first,

which led to you being tracked down.

But she's been lying to you all along.

Because she's afraid

of facing fear alone.

That's why she

keeps using others.

Acting as the victim

is her

only way of survival.

We'll evacuate the crowd.

I'll leave the rest to you.

Everyone, disperse.

Go away.

Go! Go!

Go that way.

Captain Cheng.

The last location

Mr. Shen's phone signal appeared

was Ruan Fangfang's studio.

You should leave too.

Okay.

Is it true?

Yes.

I saw

you came back and locked the door.

For you,

I didn't say anything until the end.

I was sentenced to seven years.

It's not like that.

How could I possibly use you?

We agreed

to be together forever.

You love me.

You asked me to carve the name.

We promised

we won't be separated.

But you two are not

relying on each other.

Because she's not like you.

She has no emotions.

She doesn't love you at all.

No, Huang Tao.

How could I not love you?

I love you.

We agreed

to go to a place

where there's no one else.

Huang Tao,

let's go.

After today,

we'll be free.

Huang Tao,

think about it.

You didn't betray her even when you went to prison.

You're just one of her

qualified trophies.

She's not worth you risking your life

to protect.

If this continues,

she will do everything

to shatter your autonomy

and consume your soul.

By then, it will be too late!

It's not like that.

it's not like that.

It's not like that.

He…

He assaulted me.

It's not like that.

You've been like this from the beginning.

How could I not have realized?

If it was just a prank,

why did you actually set the fire?

Did you find it thrilling?

Fun?

You've always been like this,

threatening me with your life.

What have I done?

I just wanted to save you.

So in your heart,

whether it's me

or Hao Ziqiang,

we're all just empty shells beneath your feet,

right?

If I didn't love you,

what meaning

would our pain

and life and death have?

Huang Tao.

You all are guilty.

Go to hell.

You all are guilty.

Hao Ziqiang.

Here!

We...

are each other's

meaning.

Don't move!

Is anyone there?

Open the door!

Is anyone there?

Let us out!

Open the door!

It's going to explode!

What are you doing?

Don't come over.

What are you doing?

Are you satisfied now?

Ae you satisfied?

Are you satisfied?

Ruan Fangfang.

Come.

Give me the lighter.

It's not too late.

Step back!

Open the door!

Open the door!

What have you done

to a good person?

Look.

What have I done wrong?

Then let's all die!

Ruan Fangfang!

Du Cheng!

Du Cheng!

Du Cheng, are you alright?

Catch her!

Du Cheng, are you okay?

Hurry!

Everyone, run that way!

Quick, go!

Hurry, hurry, hurry!

Du Cheng.

Why didn't you

contact the team immediately?

Ruan Fangfang snatched my phone

and threw it under the electric kiln.

I didn't have time

to contact you then.

Did you think about

what would have happened

if I hadn't arrived in time?

Have you thought about

what would've happened

if I hadn't

caught that lighter?

I can't guarantee

that I'll always arrive in time.

I'm sorry.

I'll accept any punishment from the team.

Where are you going?

Shen Yi.

Shen Yi!

We've figured it out.

After examining the scene,

we indeed found

a hidden

emergency exit behind the internet cafe.

Combining the testimonies of Huang Tao and Hao Ziqiang,

Ruan Fangfang did indeed

have a backup plan from the beginning.

She planned to use them to ignite the gasoline,

cause chaos,

and escape before the explosion.

Really?

It seems my judgment wasn't wrong.

Ruan Fangfang indeed wouldn't choose to die together with them.

Yes.

You were right all along.

I really shouldn't have acted on my own.

If I had predicted this earlier,

this wouldn't have happened.

We

are police officers.

Police officers don't just

rely on predictions to prevent crimes.

When I approached Ruan Fangfang,

I discovered that the pottery

she collected and fired was all

black in color,

which was distinctly different

[Gate of Hell Color Card extracted]

from the vibrant colors

used by other students.

Her color preference and works

suggested a subconscious

appreciation and externalization

of criminal achievements.

Based on this suspicion,

I conducted a House-Tree-Person test on her

using clay sculptures.

The test results indicated

that she has a criminal personality.

The House-Tree-Person test

can indeed help us

conduct

criminal psychological analysis

on some mentally strong

and extreme criminals.

It was used in the

silver case before,

but this was the first time

it was used with clay sculptures

when the criminal was unaware.

Moreover, using color to infer

a criminal's consciousness

is an approach that is

highly innovative.

Shen Yi

isn't just satisfied with

reconstructing suspect profiles now.

He's organically combining

the two techniques

of art and psychology.

He reopened the Haispeed Internet Cafe arson case

from eight years ago

and uncovered the mastermind behind it.

In my opinion,

this case

is worth an in-depth discussion.

This tragedy was averted

partly because we

discovered that Hao Ziqiang and Huang Tao

had purchased large amounts of hydrogen,

allowing us to arrive at the scene in time to stop the crime.

On the other hand,

Shen Yi's House-Tree-Person test

deduced Ruan Fangfang's antisocial personality,

which supported our prediction.

Shen Yi's research is a good supplement,

but I believe

solving cases must rely on objective evidence.

Psychological tests

cannot…

I'm sorry.

Du Cheng here

was talking about investigative concepts.

As for Shen Yi,

he told me before

that he can use art and psychology

to conduct

criminal personality analysis

and explore a new crime investigation method.

But at that time,

[Beijiang Criminal Investigation]

he wasn't sure if he could succeed.

If he hadn't taken the initiative

to approach the suspect,

I'm afraid that even now,

we wouldn't know

who the mastermind behind this case

really was.

His analysis of the suspect's

personality

not only

assisted us

in the investigation process,

but also provided a more

effective approach

during our interrogation,

which allowed us to find

the flaws in the story

fabricated by Ruan Fangfang.

Shen Yi,

the city bureau will likely

need to invite you more often

to participate in solving difficult cases in the future.

Are you interested in joining the city bureau?

Assisting you is fine,

but the transfer can be discussed later.

Right?

Yes.

Summarizing also requires case studies.

I can't do it without the support

of my colleagues at the Beijiang Branch.

Well said.

Right?

[Beijiang Criminal Investigation Team]

What's the matter?

Why did I have to ask for leave from my boss?

The property management has been urging us.

They said there's something scary

hanging at the door.

I'm too scared to come back myself.

Don't tell me it's a mistress who got married.

That would be such a sin.

What nonsense are you talking about?

You're finally here.

You two decide

whether to call the cops or not,

but do not

leak this onto the internet.

It's not good for anyone.

Move along, move along.

Stop looking.

Stop looking.

[I'll kill you if you get married. You all must die!]

[Litigant]

Ao Li.

You... this...

I've already talked to her.

Her attitude towards admitting her mistake is quite good.

You two parties involved,

[Equal, Voluntary, Mutual Forgiveness]

should communicate face to face again.

Mr. Yan,

I'm sorry.

I never really meant

to hurt Jingjing.

I've been having a tough time these past few years.

Seeing Jingjing doing so well

and about to get married,

I just felt upset.

I was jealous of her.

Ao Li,

you and Jingjing have known each other

for how many years now?

[Equal, Voluntary, Mutual Forgiveness]

Jingjing often tells me

that she hopes you're doing well.

Shouldn't you also hope

that she's doing well too?

Yes.

I really just acted on impulse.

I was being stubborn.

I was hot-headed.

That's why I did such a thing.

But what kind of person

would hang a bloody chicken head

on someone else's door?

[Equal, Voluntary, Mutual Forgiveness]

Even if you and Jingjing

had conflicts in the past,

it doesn't justify doing something like this.

Yes,

there are many people who aren't living

good lives.

There are also many who are

doing better than you.

You need to balance your mindset.

Back then, when you two

were in school,

your grades

were always good, weren't they?

No matter how difficult the days are,

you still have to get through them.

Right, child?

Mr. Yan,

I really know I was wrong.

Please forgive me, Mr. Yan.

Well,

this letter of understanding...

It's so shiny.

Ao Li and I were classmates.

How did it come to this?

Don't worry.

Your dad

is mediating with her right now.

It will definitely be resolved.

[Beijiang Criminal Investigation Team]

Thank you.

You sent Ao Li a wedding invitation.

It was out of goodwill.

She's the one who's not right in the head.

If she dares to do anything bad,

Mr. Yan and I will protect you.

And don't forget about me.

They're here.

Jingjing,

I'm sorry.

I...

I shouldn't have done that to you.

I caused you

emotional distress.

I'm truly sorry.

I will never

do it again.

Please forgive me,

will you?

This is the letter of understanding

issued by the police station.

According to the regulations,

if there are no issues,

you two can sign it.

However,

this matter

is for you two to decide.

Ao Li,

do you really hate me that much?

No.

I hate myself.

Compared to a letter of understanding,

what I care about more is

that you don't be angry at me anymore.

Please.

Thank you, Jingjing.

When you get married,

I'll definitely give you

the biggest red envelope.

Thank you.

That's not necessary.

I wish you a happy marriage in advance.

Child,

this kind of thing

absolutely cannot happen again.

Understand?

Please see her out.

Yifan.

Come home earlier

after work these days.

You need to take good care of her.

Of course.

Don't worry.

Yan.

Jingjing is here too?

I'll be away for two days.

What's wrong? Did something happen?

No.

Regarding Ruan Fangfang's case,

the higher-ups want to hold

a comprehensive summary meeting.

Director Zhang insists that I go.

Go ahead, don't worry.

Keep an eye on Shen Yi for me.

Jingjing,

congratulations on your marriage.

Thank you.

You can go back now.

Mr. Shen,

let me tell you about

something really strange

that happened to me.

What is it?

My dad

lost his watch.

I bought

this watch for him with

my first paycheck.

Although it's not worth much,

it means a lot

to my dad.

He feels guilty about losing it,

and because of this guilt,

he can't sleep at night.

He's constantly having insomnia.

Was it stolen?

No way.

Absolutely not.

You can't even imagine

how cheap this watch is.

A thief wouldn't steal it.

You can't be sure about that.

Even if the watch is cheap,

what if the thief doesn't know about watches?

You should ask your dad

to try and remember

his route that day.

If he could remember,

why would I come to you?

So,

why did you come to me?

Could you draw it for me?

Use your magic pen

to reveal the truth.

Jiang Feng,

sketching

is a technical method.

Using it to help find your dad's watch

is something I've never tried before.

Well,

should I draw a watch

or a map?

Draw both.

Maybe we'll develop a new technique.

Alright, alright.

Go ahead and develop it.

Stop causing trouble and leave.

For this matter,

you should

go to the local police station with your dad

and file a report.

I am the police.

Why would I file a report?

Fine.

Jiang Feng,

since the watch is so cheap,

why don't you just buy another one?

That's right.

The watch is so cheap,

I'll buy a new one for him

and tell him it's been found. Wouldn't that work?

You're the expert at capturing traces.

Sketch artist detective extraordinaire.

Okay, just go now.

Thank you, Mr. Shen.

Troublemaker.

Mr. Shen,

let me tell you,

his matter isn't serious at all.

I have something important.

Can you give me some advice?

Did you lose something too?

No,

it's about Yan's daughter,

Jingjing.

Yes, I heard about it.

How is it?

Is she okay?

She's fine

and she's already written a letter of understanding.

The person who did this

is named Ao Li.

She said it was because she was jealous of Jingjing,

but she's actually

a somewhat famous internet celebrity.

Her income is much higher than Jingjing's.

Let me show you her livestream.

Look, it's this one.

[Come On, Ao Li]

She and Jingjing were college classmates

and they were roommates too.

They studied garden design.

After graduation,

they both joined the same company.

They used to be good friends,

but later,

Jingjing started dating Luo Yifan.

It seems Ao Li also had

some interest in Luo Yifan.

The three of them became

[Come On, Ao Li]

something like a love triangle.

Later, Ao Li made a big scene,

and the two of them fell out.

So now, you think

this matter might not be over?

You're worried

she did this for other reasons?

So I wanted to discuss this

with you.

[Come On, Ao Li]

Look into this pendant.

I can't find the same model.

Is there a problem?

It's custom-made?

Or did she make it herself?

Give me your phone.

This is the symbol on Ao Li's badge.

I've further broken it down

into these elements.

A woman,

the moon,

a snake,

and an owl?

Is there any special meaning after these symbols

are combined?

It refers to

the first woman created

in Western legends,

Lilith.

But there are many versions

of legends about her.

For example,

one ancient saying goes

that Lilith was

created at the same time as Adam

and was also Adam's first wife.

But unlike Eve,

Lilith was unwilling

to submit to such an arrangement.

She escaped from the Garden of Eden.

There's also a legend

that portrays the evil serpent

that tempted Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit

as an incarnation of Lilith.

There's even a legend

that Lilith is a moon demon

who would lure children

at night

and kill them.

Do you want some late-night snacks?

You scared me to death!

Mr. Shen, let's continue.

Ignore him.

Thank you.

As for Lilith,

she doesn't have a fixed image.

In different versions of the legends,

she has been mixed with many different

mystical beliefs.

Take this as an example.

This is a work from over a hundred years ago

by Dante Gabriel Rossetti,

"Lady Lilith."

The woman in the painting,

with her thick, long hair,

her expression and posture,

all carry strong sexual allure.

This indicates that

in the Victorian era,

Lilith represented a woman

focused on her own beauty,

with a hint of narcissism.

But in modern times,

because Lilith was the first

demon or god

to rebel against patriarchy,

to rebel against the duties imposed on women,

she is now more often seen

as a symbol of the awakening

of women's personal power.

In short,

regardless of the era

or version of the legend,

Lilith always represented

temptation

and revenge.

So you're saying

that Ao Li likes these kinds of

mysterious and slightly evil things,

which is why

she wears such a badge.

Is that what you mean?

It's possible.

You're all still at work?

Talking about Ao Li, I suppose?

Carry on.

So, I speculate

that the elements in the badge

might be projecting

her inner darkness

and aggressiveness.

Darkness and aggressiveness?

I've always felt that

for a young girl like Ao Li,

having some jealousy

and extreme thoughts is quite normal.

Besides,

she knows my profession.

She probably wouldn't dare to do anything to Jingjing.

But we still need to know

what exactly she's planning to do

or what triggered her, right?

Well, well, well...

As for what she'll do next,

I really can't easily

make a judgment based on my current understanding.

How about this?

Anyway,

I have more days off recently.

I'll switch my shift

to get consecutive days off

and visit Ao Li's company.

I'll take it as experiencing a different life.

What for?

To become a female streamer?

Is it appropriate for you to go to such a place?

Is that a place you can go to?

Don't forget you're a female police officer.

If anyone should go, it should be me.

I took dance classes for three years when I was young.

I can go there to dance.

During this period,

our unit doesn't have much going on.

I can go after work.

If anything happens,

I'll report to you immediately.

How should I put it?

I should also do something

for Jingjing.

But...

It's settled then.

Shen Yi,

Yan,

Li Han,

leave it to me.

As expected from a sports college graduate.

When I saw you doing a test

just now in the livestream,

I'm sure those muscles of yours

will definitely be a hit.

Look,

here in my company,

we have about a hundred

livestreaming rooms like this.

Correspondingly, we have

over a hundred female streamers.

The competition is quite fierce.

But for male streamers,

we currently have less than 20.

If it weren't for

handsome male streamers

suddenly becoming a hot trend,

I wouldn't have planned to recruit anyone.

You just happened to catch this opportunity.

Thank you.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

You're welcome.

There's even someone playing the guzheng here?

We have all kinds of streamers.

It's mainly based on market demand.

By the way, boss.

Does our company

have a female streamer

named Ao Li?

You've just arrived and already want to ride on someone's coattails

to gain popularity, huh?

You've got quite a clear agenda, kid.

No,

I've heard about her before.

She's quite popular.

I just want to learn from her,

so I can make money faster.

Very good.

I wouldn't even consider someone

without ambition.

Besides, being content with little

doesn't suit our industry either.

You won't make it to the trending list.

Ao Li's streaming room is up ahead.

Follow me.

Welcome.

Welcome all the lovely viewers

to Ao Li's livestream.

Welcome, everyone.

Please help by following me.

Like, comment, and share with one click.

Feel free to join my fan group.

Love you all.

Me?

I'm a talent streamer.

I do dancing, fitness, and such.

Ao Li.

It's nothing.

I'm just...

She used to be quite popular.

Fans would come every day

to the company to give her gifts.

Those nouveau riche bosses

were indeed quite generous.

What happened to her?

She's been streaming non-stop, day and night.

She's developed a bit of myocarditis.

Myocarditis?

She has myocarditis and still won't rest?

What are you thinking?

She's not as popular as she used to be.

She feels the crisis herself.

She's an old face, you know.

The rich men will eventually get tired of seeing her.

Who doesn't want to support new girls?

Welcome.

So,

Ao Li keeps streaming all day,

trying to attract new fans and increase her following.

How else can she make money?

Now that she's sick,

it's perfect for her

to play the sympathy card.

It's good.

How's Ao Li doing today?

Only gained ten followers.

That's too few.

Let me see.

[Come On, Ao Li]

Yes.

There was a period before when I

streamed twice a day.

It was quite exhausting.

I was really pushing myself.

But I had no choice.

At that time, my boyfriend was

studying for his master's degree abroad

and he needed a lot of money.

And then?

And then...

[Come On, Ao Li]

I guess you all can

probably

figure out what happened.

Yeah.

At that time, I was just...

At that time, I was just

too naive.

What she's talking about,

when did it happen?

It's not true.

This is all a trick.

[Come On, Ao Li]

It's a bit cliché,

but for these rich men,

it's quite effective.

Look,

they're sending gifts now.

Thank you.

Thank you.

You can do this?

Thank you.

After this, Ao Li will persuade

these men

not to send gifts.

But these men

will send gifts like crazy.

What are you guys doing?

Men, you know.

Competitive

and try to outdo each other.

[Come On, Ao Li]

Please stop sending gifts.

You're making it seem like

I'm playing the sympathy card.

It's really rare for me

to speak from my heart.

[Come On, Ao Li]

Really, please stop.

If you keep doing this,

I won't share anymore in the future.

Seriously.

Before?

I've actually only been in

this one relationship.

I haven't dated anyone since then.

But now that I have you guys,

[Come On, Ao Li]

I only believe in you.

You want to take care of me?

Really?

I'm not easy to take care of, you know.

Because I'm

a scratcher.

Do I need to do this too?

This can only retain existing fans,

not attract new ones.

Tell Ao Li to end her stream.

Ask her to come see me.

Okay.

Currently, this is how

the livestreaming industry is.

You don't need to overthink it.

Just boldly follow our lead

and you'll be fine.

Here comes my little wild cat.

You've worked hard.

Who's this?

A newcomer.

He'll start streaming tomorrow.

Ms. Ao Li,

hello.

I'm Feng.

Please take care of me in the future.

You've got good looks.

Can I squeeze you?

Squeeze where?

Where do you want me to squeeze?

Cute.

Mr. Liu, you've still

got a good taste in people.

Sit.

Have a seat.

If it weren't for Mr. Liu supporting me back then,

I wouldn't have

the number of fans I have now.

From now on, just follow Mr. Liu

and work hard.

Thank you for the reminder, Ms. Ao Li.

I certainly will.

Alright,

let's get down to business.

The four-person on-demand model

is very popular recently.

You've been working so hard to attract new users,

but the results aren't great.

Do you want to give it a try?

Are you asking me to

do a livestream with the newcomers

where viewers can

request a dance for just one yuan?

That's right.

Entering the lower-tier market will create more buzz,

and it also suits your

current strategy of playing the sympathy card.

What do you think?

Mr. Liu,

over these years,

you've helped me so much.

Whether I succeed in attracting new fans or not,

helping the company promote newcomers

is the right thing to do.

If it weren't for you,

how could I have

millions of fans now?

Without the company,

there wouldn't be the Ao Li of today.

I'll do whatever you say.

Just arrange it as you see fit.

Hearing you say that,

I really feel that...

You're still the most

obedient one.

No need to be so formal with me.

Stop it, there's an outsider here.

It's okay, it's okay.

Well,

I've joined the company too, right?

I-I'm one of you now.

Please, carry on.

Ignore me.

I'm just air.

In the future,

learn more from Ao Li.

Has your cough gotten better?

I've been so worried about you.

Let me say this first.

I can help the company attract new users,

but you have to remember...

Okay, okay, okay.

I'm here.

Orange Americano and fresh coconut latte.

Which one would you like?

I'll have the fresh coconut latte.

Oh, let me introduce you.

This is my father's colleague,

a famous sketch artist from Beijiang,

Mr. Shen Yi.

Hello.

Hello.

Jingjing,

you're in a good mood today.

Because I went shopping!

Preparing for the wedding is exhausting,

but shopping is so much fun!

Jingjing has been so worried about the wedding

she couldn't even sleep well.

But with today's exercise,

she should be able to get a good night's sleep.

What happened to your hand?

Yesterday, when I was cutting my nails,

I didn't do it properly.

I scratched myself while taking a shower.

How could you be so careless?

It's nothing.

You two,

don't overthink things lately.

With friends like us around,

she won't dare to do anything.

But this person

is quite peculiar.

It's been so long since it happened,

yet she's still holding a grudge.

What happened before?

It's quite a dramatic story, I guess.

She and I used to be

very close friends.

Later,

I really didn't expect

she could do such a thing.

She went behind my back to flirt with Yifan.

That day,

we were on a business trip

and stayed in the same hotel.

She said she had cholecystitis

and was in severe pain,

so she texted me,

asking me to bring her

a box of painkillers.

At the time, I thought

she asked me to go

because Jingjing wasn't there.

That's why I agreed.

Yifan did call me to ask about it.

At the time, I thought

he was the team leader,

so it was normal for a leader

to check on team members.

Thinking about it now,

if he hadn't told me

about this in advance,

this misunderstanding would've been much worse.

Ao Li.

Ao Li, what are you doing?

What?

Do whatever you want.

Ao Li.

Ao Li, don't do this.

Ao Li,

don't do this.

Ao Li!

How could you do such a thing?

Don't go.

Ao Li.

Don't go.

Please don't leave.

What are you doing?

Let go of me.

Ao Li?

Ao Li,

you said you didn't want to eat,

-so I bought you some fruit. -Let go.

What's going on here?

Things aren't

what you think.

Ao Li,

if you wanted to meet with Mr. Luo, you could have just done so.

Why did you ask me to come?

What a mess this is.

Wait a moment.

We need to clear this up.

Otherwise, there will be a big misunderstanding.

Misunderstanding?

Originally, you dated me

before you got together with Yan Jingjing.

Ao Li,

you asked me to come here to bring you medicine,

and then you pounced on me.

You deliberately called her here

to set me up, didn't you?

That female colleague

was notorious

for being a big gossip at the company.

Ao Li did this

to make her

spread rumors in the company,

so everyone would think

Yifan was two-timing.

And I

would be seen as the homewrecker.

This Ao Li

was even willing to be caught by a colleague

in her most disgraceful state

to try and ruin your relationship with Jingjing.

I think her actions

have always been quite extreme,

so it's not surprising

that she's now seeking revenge

like this.

When she can't have what she wants,

she can act so recklessly.

[Palm Fire Livestream]

The four types of gifts correspond to

the four streamers below.

Each streamer

has a

roughly ten-second dance.

Sending a gift

[The palm fire live]

will make the corresponding streamer

go to the trampoline

and dance.

Keep sending gifts, and they'll keep dancing.

[Palm Fire Livestream]

Someone has recognized Ao Li.

They've started sending her gifts.

[Palm Fire Livestream]

I'm so tired.

If the gifts keep coming,

she has to keep dancing

non-stop?

Doesn't she have myocarditis?

Is it okay for her to dance like this?

[Palm Fire Livestream]

I can't take it anymore.

Please stop sending gifts, okay?

If someone wants to save her,

they'll have to frantically send gifts to others.

In that case,

[Palm Fire Livestream]

all the newcomers

will make money too.

Look, here they come.

What's wrong?

Seeing such a big streamer

being tormented like this

breaks your heart?

No, no.

I was just thinking,

[Palm Fire Livestream]

even in this state,

she's still posing like that.

Is she deliberately

trying to attract attention

and not rest?

You've figured it out.

The reason Ao Li is doing this

is to attract more people

to her livestream to torment her.

Indeed.

It's starting again.

This is pure self-torture.

I think she might

be born with such a personality,

willing to do anything

to achieve her goals.

It might not necessarily be innate, though.

When we were in school together,

we were actually together

from morning till night.

At that time,

she was quite normal.

Oh, right.

Didn't you tell me before?

One time,

to win a tug-of-war competition,

she tied the rope

around her waist

and desperately held onto the horizontal bar,

almost breaking her ribs?

That was because some girls from the architecture department

had bullied me,

so she wanted to win back some dignity for me.

That's why she was so desperate to win.

How can you be so sure

that she didn't have a competitive spirit of her own?

Right?

So,

what you two have seen

wasn't the same side of her.

Of course, maybe

you and Jingjing represent

different things to her.

Is she alright?

She's fine.

She's very happy.

After dancing like this,

her own account

must be gaining followers like crazy.

The dear fans

who like Ao Li,

don't forget

to go to Come On, Ao Li

and give me a follow!

She's gained so many followers!

I told you, didn't I?

In our line of work,

if you want to get rich,

you've got to go crazy first.

Alright,

prepare to end the stream.

Okay.
