Original subtitles

-TJ: Previously on The Challenge: USA... -(exclaiming)

As the game became

more divided by show alliances,

Survivor Desi defected

to the Blue team to shift power away

from The Challenge vets.

Blue looks good on you!

TJ: But the vets hatched a plan

to shake up the alliances of Big Brother and Survivor

by turning the rookies against each other.

BANANAS: Operation Hat Trick.

TORI: We're gonna put a bunch of names in a hat

from these major alliances

like Big Brother and Survivor.

We're all gonna pick one and vote a different way

and nobody actually really knows who we're working with.

It's organized chaos.

TJ: Wes used the power

from his Green team win to divide the rookies even more.

WES: I would like you guys to back me.

I want to vote for Cassidy.

Double Survivor?

I'm starting to see Wes

puppeting from the shadows.

TJ: At the elimination,

Operation Hat Trick

threw everyone for a loop.

Four votes.

Damn! Like, what is going on here?

DUSTY: Line it up, guys. Line it up, too.

-You're almost there, Lyss. -Let's go, Cass.

-Go! -TJ: And while Cassidy cracked the code

to send Alyssa L. home,

the confusion over the votes left lasting damage.

DUSTY: I'm racking my brain.

Who could possibly have voted for me?

TJ: And now...

Lower them down! See you later.

Will Operation Hat Trick

continue to drive a wedge between the rookies?

You're my number one objective to get rid of.

Go to hell, Dusty.

We created this chaos.

Another bomb.

TJ: Or can they fight back

and successfully take out one of the vets?

BANANAS: You've dug yourself such a deep hole

there's no way of getting out.

*

(cheering)

We did it!

CASSIDY: I'm safe tonight, but

Wes has now made an enemy of me.

He is a snake. He's conniving.

He is manipulating tons of people.

They're all falling for

his charms, and I just don't.

WES: Cassidy-- she's like

a little ankle biter dog that is, like, on my tail.

(dog barking)

WES: This is a problem.

I need to win to break up

the Survivor contingency.

Where you at, Dust? You all right?

No. I'm about to blow some shit up.

Shots got fired and they fucked up and missed.

-Yeah. -That's exactly what fucking happened.

Tiffany tried to play a game and her cards missed.

Put four balls on me.

I'm fucking back in this motherfucker.

I'm ready, baby.

I am so pissed off right now, man.

Before this elimination, Alyssa L. told me

that if I do not vote her in

that she would protect me from three votes.

If you don't say my name,

I will make sure me

and two others won't say your name.

And it's obvious

that I was double-crossed.

TJ: Dusty, four votes.

DUSTY: The most logical

dots that I could connect were

Alyssa L.,

Alyssa S. and Tiffany.

They are Big Brother sisters.

TIFFANY: Are you saying I voted for you?

DUSTY: You literally come down here every night.

-I know what you're up to. -I voted for Sebastian.

-He knows that. -I don't give a shit.

-You're fucking ploying, I don't trust you for shit. -That's fine.

JOSH: Our plan,

Operation Hat Trick, worked.

Literally, we created this chaos

and I'm so excited.

DUSTY: I've done everything to help you.

-You're so wrong. -DUSTY: The game's over.

-I'm not wrong. -You're so wrong.

Let me refill my wine.

DUSTY: You, verbatim out of your mouth: "Dusty, no one's targeting you."

-Four balls hit me today. -I didn't vote for you.

You said that. You said that.

TIFFANY: It doesn't matter if I said that.

I didn't vote for you, Dusty.

Get away from me.

MICHELE: Me and Chanelle, Cassidy, and Desi

actually voted Dusty.

So hearing him

think that it's somebody else

and throw them under the bus

is so freaking sweet. Thank you.

You're my number one objective to get rid of.

CORY: Dusty is definitely

a threat in the game,

but this guy is playing with his emotions.

That's just painting

a big target on himself.

TIFFANY: Your boy down there is losing his mind.

FAYSAL: For me, Operation Hat Trick

worked out beautifully, because thus far in the game,

I got a lot of Big Brother players in here,

but I think it also secures

my alliance with The Challenge vets.

So everything's going according to plan.

(whooshes) Just fucking...

Another bomb. Another bomb.

(quietly): Operation Hat Trick was a stunning success.

*

(laughing)

(line ringing)

Well, well, well.

(laughs)

You called at a very opportune time.

Your daughter is going ham.

WES: Oh, my gosh.

-Penny. -No bite.

How's my baby?

Which one me, Penny

or baby, uh, Bowser?

(Wes chuckles)

I have left my pregnant wife to come play this game,

and every single time I have these phone calls,

I get in my own head about it,

and I'm embarrassed that I've left her,

I'm scared that something could be wrong.

I had my appointment this morning.

They said everything looks good.

WES: Wow. Do we have, like,

a bump to show off or anything?

It's, like, just, I look like I just overate at the buffet.

-(laughs) That's all? -(laughs)

WES: It's just a relief to see her,

but it's also a lot of pressure because

this game has been such a large part of my life

for the better part of 20 years.

TJ: Congratulations, Wes. You did it, man.

WES: I have won three seasons of The Challenge...

$250,000 each.

...but now I am coming to grips with the fact

that this could be

the last time that I ever get to see a Challenge house

for the rest of my life.

That's what I'm fighting for.

Keep doing good, baby. I'm proud of you.

Okay, I miss you very much.

I love you.

Wes? I don't know how I feel about him,

but I know you guys like him a lot.

I mean, we like him 'cause...

You can't... you got to keep him at arm's distance,

but, like, he's good at competitions and stuff,

so... we want to keep winning.

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel.

(both laugh)

TYLER: I'm happy that Alyssa and I

are on the same team now. We were already getting

pretty close, and now that we are on the same team,

we can come together even more.

We like each other,

so we're gonna see how that goes,

but life is good.

(laughs)

*

SEBASTIAN: Oh, boy.

CASSIDY: I'm worried because if Green team

wins again, I could be on the chopping block.

So, it is absolutely crucial

for Blue team to win today

because I need that safety.

Welcome, all of you, to your next challenge.

Couldn't be a more beautiful day here

in Pula, Croatia.

Now...

Uh-oh. (chuckles) I know that face.

Today's challenge is awesome.

It is my favorite.

Oh, shit.

-Say it. -Trivia.

-(all shouting) -Fuck!

Today's challenge is trivia.

Dear Lord, you guys know I hate trivia.

-TJ: Incorrect. -(shouts)

TORI: Trivia questions are TJ's literal favorite

because somehow he makes

all of us Challengers look like big dum-dums.

Today's challenge is called High-Q.

To start, your entire team

is gonna be on their own platform,

35 feet above the water.

One by one, I'll be asking you trivia questions.

Some are easy

and some are more difficult.

You may answer as a team.

-Yes! Thank God! God, thank you, I love you. -(cheering)

More brains. More brains.

You answer it right, no worries.

Answer it wrong, your entire team's platform

will be tilted down towards the sea.

Eventually, you're gonna

start sliding towards the edge of that platform.

It'll be up to you to use as much

skin contact, pressure and friction

as you need to

to stay on that thing.

-(yells) -(laughing)

I'll keep tilting that platform

until there is only one team remaining.

As long as you have one player up there, you're good to go.

The last team standing will win today's challenge

and be choosing one man and one woman

to put at risk in the elimination round.

Good luck, everyone. Let's do it.

*

TORI: I definitely think all the teams are gonna struggle.

You look around, maybe they have one or two smart people,

but, like, they're not gonna last long.

BANANAS: The key to today

is friction, but not with each other.

Ass to glass.

-Ass to glass. -Ass to glass, baby.

MONTE: I think having less people

will definitely be an advantage

because we're gonna have less opinions

that are going to conflict.

-We're running it back. -Run it back. -Back to back.

MICHELE: For team morale,

I think we really, really need

to win this, obviously.

Like, we've had friction,

a lot of tension going on.

TIFFANY: I got to win this one.

Dusty's gonna put a ball on me,

so, you know, I got to be safe.

-Team Red strong, baby. -That's right.

All right, Red team, first question.

Let's fucking do this.

Who directed the movie Jaws?

-Jaws. -Steven Spielberg?

-Steven Spielberg. -Steven Spielberg.

Steven Spielberg.

That answer is correct.

-Yes! Yes! -(cheering)

Fuck yeah, Dusty! Fuck yeah!

CORY: That would be

Steven "Spielsberg." Yes.

Spiels... (chuckles)

"Spielsburg."

Fuck yeah, Tiffany!

TJ: Green team. "Designed to be deleted"

is the slogan of what dating app?

MICHAELA: I know this

because it has not been deleted, so...

Hinge, it's Hinge.

Correct.

A man needs to come find me.

TJ: Blue team. In a game

of Texas hold 'em poker,

which hand is stronger-- a straight or a flush?

-A straight. A straight. -A straight or a flush?

BANANAS: I've got a love-hate relationship with Trivia.

Questions that I'd be able to answer

sitting right here in this chair in front of you?

Easy. But when I'm dangling

above the water,

somehow I'm not even able to spell my name.

-A straight. -A straight!

That is incorrect.

(laughs)

-(shouts) -(TJ laughing)

Red team, how many red stripes are on the American flag?

TJ, the answer's seven.

-That's correct. -I knew it was the first one.

TJ: All right, Green team,

Whose face appears on a $100 bill?

-Benjamin Franklin. -Correct.

MONTE: Winning is super important for the Green team

because we do not need to lose any more people.

It seems the Blue team and the Red team

are still working not to target each other.

So, either way, the Green team is screwed.

All right, Blue team,

what state has the nickname

the land of 10,000 lakes?

I could be wrong.

Okay, say it. Say it.

CORY: Michigan!

That is incorrect.

Oh, my God.

The answer is Minnesota.

Damn it.

The Blue squad has tilted twice so far.

All right,

Red team, right back at you.

What team

won Super Bowl 57?

-Dusty, say something. -The Chiefs.

The Patriots.

-The Patriots is incorrect. -I didn't know, guys.

-I had no idea. -It was the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fuck, I had it right.

Sorry about your luck.

-Oh, boy. Oh, boy. -Oh, my God, oh, my God.

It's the Kansas City Chiefs.

It's my wife and my family's favorite team,

and I dropped the ball.

Go to hell, Dusty.

TJ: Green team.

A double eagle is how many strokes under par?

I don't know.

TYLER: Two.

Correct answer is three.

(laughs)

Now we're having fun.

WES: I have never been a fly on a wall before,

but thank God I've got some thick thighs.

Thick thighs save lives.

TJ: All right, Blue team.

What is the capital of Canada?

We're... I'm gonna go with....

I'm gonna go with, uh...

with, uh...

SEBASTIAN: You are literally

not allowed to hold on to anything

but the glass.

Just feels weird to be

literally holding on

with nothing but your skin.

-Maybe Ontario? -No, that's a-that's a state.

-It's Montreal, it's Montreal. -Five seconds.

Montreal!

-That is incorrect. -Fuck.

It's Ottawa.

-Did you say it? -Damn it, I said... Yes, I said Ottawa.

-Aw, sorry. -I didn't hear that.

TJ: Coming at you, Red team. You ready?

In what year

did the American Civil War begin?

What?

Does anyone have any ideas?

-Is it 1882? -CHANELLE: I say 73,

but I'm not sure.

1873? You want to go with that?

1873.

No, no, 17! 17! 17!

The correct answer is 1861.

Lower 'em down.

-How you guys doing? -He's struggling.

TIFFANY: No, Dusty.

Uh-oh, Dusty's going.

TIFFANY: Dusty, where are you going?

If you don't put some dust on them

damn legs and arms

and stick your ass to this glass...

We need you here.

Come on, Dusty.

DUSTY: I'm trying.

TJ: Somebody's going down!

TJ: Somebody's going down!

TIFFANY: Come on, Dusty.

Guys, I'm really sweaty. I'm ju...

I'm doing everything I can.

Bro, you're gonna have to grab me, bro.

-I-I can't. I can't. -I know. Well, I'm going.

I'm looking at him like,

"Do you see how hard this is?"

Let me go.

Leave me alone, Dusty.

Guys?

Oh, boy.

JOSH: Dusty's gone.

(TJ laughs) It's getting tricky now.

All right, Green,

who is the lead singer of The White Stripes?

I don't know. Anybody got a name?

-No idea. -Any names?

TYLER: The only thing I could even think of

was some random rock star

and my own name.

Steven Tyler.

Jack White. Lower 'em down.

MONTE: There's some challenges

where being my size,

it's perfect.

But in a challenge like this...

-TJ: Later, Monte! -Oh, shit.

Sorry, guys. Uh, it just is what it is.

(whoops)

Here they go.

(whooping) Oh, see ya! (laughs)

Uh-oh.

TJ: See you later!

(laughs)

CASSIDY: It is safe to say that I want Wes to go home.

He is the number one target in my mind.

He's smart, he's strategic. He is a legend

for a reason, and I do not need

somebody like that on my back.

(groans)

(shrieks)

-This shit is not up to me. -TYLER: So who would've thought

MVP of Trivia

is Alyssa S. She is, like, fully inclined,

90 degrees. She's still sticking on this thing.

If she can somehow, someway, pull this off,

I will be a very proud person.

TJ: Blue team.

JoJo Siwa

found fame on what reality show?

-Dancing with the Stars! -Dancing with the Stars! -Dance Moms.

Correct answer is Dance Moms.

See you guys later!

DESI: Yes, she went on that, and she won that.

BANANAS: Fessy's gone.

JOSH: Stay strong! They're falling! Stay strong, Red!

TJ: All right, Red.

Taylor Swift launched

what concert tour in 2023?

Oh, my gosh! That is correct!

Duh.

CORY: The girls are holding down the Red team,

and I am proud of them.

We got this.

JOSH: I'm going.

(shouts)

CORY: I love you, Red. (whoops)

TJ: Oh, Cory's down.

Who's left?

Alyssa, this is unbelievable.

Spider Woman.

I'm trying my best, Teej.

WES: Thank God

Alyssa is so scared

to fall.

Green just took two shots

at Chris and Cassidy.

I got blamed for those shots.

Right now, my entire life

is on her back.

TJ: All right. The U.S. Constitution

has how many amendments?

Okay, let's go with 13.

Correct answer is 27.

Lower her down.

Can she hold on, still?

No, she cannot!

Finally.

Wow, Alyssa, that was amazing.

I tried.

All right, Blue.

A dodecahedron

has how many sides?

How the hell did you know that?

That is correct.

JOSH: Stay strong, Red!

TJ: All right, Red team,

In which European country was William Shakespeare born?

-Greece, maybe? -TIFFANY: London?

-I'm sliding. -Say it.

Italy.

-TJ: Italy is incorrect. -England! England!

Lower 'em down!

I hate you, TJ!

-They're going -No!

-No! -TJ: Whoa!

-CORY: Good job, Chanelle! -DUSTY: Just withstand it, Tiffany.

-Hold on, Tiff. -Great job, Chanelle.

I am so pulling for Tiffany.

There was beef between us.

I know we had our disagreements,

but there's no way that Blue can withstand

another click up on their glass.

I'm just hoping to God

that she can pull this off.

TJ: All right, Blue.

What legendary guitarist

was known for playing his instrument with his teeth?

-Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen. -TJ: Correct answer

is Jimi Hendrix. That is wrong.

All right, Red team,

"What British band released the album

A Rush of Blood to the Head?"

I don't know, TJ.

Aw.

Coldplay is the answer.

-Hang on, baby! -Hang on, Tiff!

Tiffany's staying strong!

Tiffany is staying strong!

Oh, my God.

-JOSH: Good job, Tiffany! -CORY: Yeah, Tiffany!

Tiffany!

All right, the Blue team won.

-Yeah! -(yelping)

(cheering)

Built this team from the ground up,

but I feel like we've kind of been fumbling the ball,

but the team is only getting stronger,

and I'm so proud to have been the genesis of that.

JOSH: Smart-asses.

Great challenge today, everyone. Way to go.

(cheering)

Tiffany.

-Yeah? -You held on

like nobody's business.

That was amazing.

And, Alyssa, incredible.

You two--

really solid for your teams. Great job.

The Blue team, absolute savages.

You are the only safe team

from elimination.

What a weird feeling.

Now, it's time for you to go back to the house

and select two players-- one man and one woman--

to send into the arena

to be at risk of elimination.

WES: This is an absolute

worst case situation because

I expect them to seek revenge.

My back is up against the wall.

TJ: All right, I'll see you soon.

-Get out of here. -(cheering)

*

I'm gonna try, Wes.

Key word: "try."

-We don't, like, -Listen, we have...

-have the numbers on this. -we have zero power.

-We have zero. -So here's what we do.

Nothing.

We've won, but in a way,

it kind of feels like we've lost,

'cause the way the numbers stack up on the Blue team

is if the Survivor players

all vote as a bloc,

Cassidy, Sebastian, Chris and Desi--

then they have the numbers.

The vote is gonna go the direction

they want it to go, regardless of

how much pushback we give.

Well, we go in and we're just like,

"Hey, we're team players, guys.

Whatever the hell you want to have happen."

'Cause that's what's gonna happen anyways.

Wes, you've literally dug yourself

into such a deep hole. I mean,

there's no way of getting out.

There's no way I'm getting you out of it, dude.

*

Listen, I think I already laid my cards on the table

when I called Wes out.

He's already painted a target on my back.

He's the reason me and Chris

-went in. -TORI: Are you definitely gonna

do a Big Brother girl?

-Yeah. -I just want to know.

Okay, so then it's between

Tiffany and between Alyssa, right?

I could go either way.

My vote for a girl

is gonna be Tiffany.

At the end of the day,

I think there's more people

that want to see Wes go home than Tiffany go home.

So, if we nominate Tiffany as the female vote,

I'm pretty confident that the majority of the house

is gonna vote male,

and that's my ultimate goal.

I want Wes out of this game.

I mean, I'll go... I'll go with y'all on Tiff.

Tiffany and Wes.

-Tiffany and Wes. -Tiffany and Wes.

CHANELLE: I feel like I can't say Tiffany.

I feel like I've been closer to her for longer,

so my vote would be Alyssa.

Oh, and Wes.

Alyssa, I don't really want to say her name,

so I guess I'll just, because of those reasons,

I have to go Tiffany and Wes.

Wes is a snake in this game, and now I'm gonna

throw him in and give him a taste of his own medicine.

He's toast.

I can't say Tiff,

so I'm gonna say Alyssa.

All right. And Wes.

-FAYSAL: We made up our minds? -CHRIS: Yep.

This gives me such joy that I get to watch

Wes squirm

and potentially even go home.

I couldn't be more stoked.

Damn. Sorry, Tiff.

CASSIDY: Now we go hide.

-MONTE: Oof. -DUSTY: Now we have

a whole different battle to deal with,

-the goddamn Hopper. -Hey, look, your guys' names

-aren't on there, so... -I'm about the first part.

Yeah, yeah.

Let the Hopper be in our favor.

How important am I, to be sitting next to Wes?

This is my first time being the main vote

and I have been feeling so defeated in this game.

It is honestly

a privilege and an honor.

But Tiffany and Wes--

we're the best brains in this house.

I know you guys are intimidated and afraid,

so, hey, let's see.

BANANAS: Their minds were made up.

We basically went in and were like, "Straight up, guys..."

TORI: "What are your plans?

"Because it's obvious we're outnumbered.

What do you want to do?"

And then it was just a floodgate.

BANANAS: And we know... we knew.

WES: No other names got brought up?

Not really.

-WES: Really? -No.

WES: It was just a matter of time.

But I fixed these spots before, I'm gonna fix it again.

I don't know how,

but y'all like an underdog,

and I'm gonna have to be that underdog.

A really good-looking underdog.

TORI: You need to start digging deep right now.

WES: Do you know what girl you're gonna vote for?

(Dusty sighs)

No, I haven't even thought about it.

I may talk to some of 'em today.

I mean, I'm gonna vote for a girl, dude.

Brother, I've been loyal since day one.

Yeah, I know.

I'm gonna clock in

and I'm going to have conversations

with every single person

that has the opportunity to vote.

All they have to do

to be in my good graces

and to stay my friend

and to stay in my alliance

is just vote for a woman.

And it's such an easy ask

because I'm not even telling them

what woman to vote for.

I'm fighting for my future child,

and so it's time to campaign.

*

What I need is for you to vote for a girl.

And that is what I'm asking for.

I would like you guys to vote for a girl.

We're good.

We're both masterminds, that kind of speech.

I don't need to check in, I don't need

-to worry about you. -You don't have to check in

-and worry about me. -You're doing a girl.

I'm doing a girl.

What girl do you want me to vote for?

Any one you want. I don't care.

-I underestimated you. -Really?

-From the beginning. -Mm-hmm.

-You're a challenger. -Thank you.

Vote for a girl.

I'm getting promises,

one after another after another.

I've built up trust

and relationships. I feel good about this.

"My name is Wes and all I'm asking you to do

is vote for a woman,

"and I'm not even telling you what woman.

Just go for a woman."

CORY: So, are we all voting Dusty?

(Monte laughs) Had to put it out there.

I mean... I mean, that's a...

We got to go through some names

if we do want to, like, vote together.

MONTE: Oh, hello.

-Am I interrupting? -MONTE: You can come in.

MICHELE: From what I have heard,

the plan is for it to be a guy's name.

That's-that's the consensus from the girls' side,

and I know Wes is pitching a girl.

-So, that's... -TYLER: Of course.

MICHELE: This vote is clear for me.

Like, I feel bad for Wes, but...

MONTE: Same. I genuinely do, too.

Wes has been a Challenger for so long.

He has always had the ability to sway opinions,

sway votes, create chaos.

I think Wes is running around

and spiraling because he realizes

that's not possible anymore.

Wes is not going to be happy.

-I think we can all agree about that. -Yeah.

I'm not ready for that, but that's a tomorrow problem.

(sniffles)

BANANAS: I mean, this is a... this is a hard...

this is a hard existence, dude.

WES: This isn't like,

"Oh, I need a break."

This is, "I've got a kid coming."

(sighs)

As a father talking to you with a child

that is birthed, there is a joy

that's coming to you, dude,

that you have no idea.

I was exactly where you were at a week ago, dude.

WES: You are not an expecting father.

Before I came here, my perspective was settled.

-This is my last one. -BANANAS: This challenge

has been built

on the sweat, toil and tears

from the two of us for decades now.

We built this house, dude.

It's your turn to protect it.

To see someone

like Wes weeping,

it's sad to see.

We have spent

some of the best years of our lives

spilling the same blood in the same mud.

And this game,

The Challenge, really does become a part of you.

I'm not upset about going into

the fucking elimination.

Dude, this is

the best part of the game.

I'm upset about leaving the game

and never getting to come back.

Because of my responsibilities.

It's not, like, fucking hyperbole.

Like, I don't think I can come back.

DESI: I think Wes knows

that he's completely outnumbered,

so he creates a sob story

and ultimately just tries to, like,

rally attention around himself,

in true Wes form.

The identity that we share together,

I'm about to lose.

I'm going to have to take on the biggest challenge of my life,

which is learning how to become a father.

And so I think this is my last game.

(alarm blaring)

CORY: Ooh.

There he is.

Oh...

I feel so bad

for Wes, but I have to

put my game before his game.

We're getting narrowed down here.

Let's do this.

I'm actually gonna do Alyssa.

I have wanted to vote in Michaela for weeks.

Now, I'm finally just going for it.

Bye.

It's your time, my friend.

Dusty, you were really

rotten to me and I actually

owe you nothing.

TIFFANY: The deed is done.

*

WES: I have been sitting here, mentally preparing

for the Hopper to say,

"Wes, you are playing tonight."

I'm scared of losing the game,

I'm scared of not being the best dad in the world.

But I am the elimination king.

I've got to fight.

All right, everyone, welcome

to your next elimination round here in the arena

this season of The Challenge: USA.

Congratulations,

Blue team. Man, your wits got it done.

You are not only safe from elimination, but you had to

come back to the house

and select one man and one woman

to put at risk

right here in the arena.

You did that.

You chose Wes and Tiffany.

Come on out.

(applause)

Go, Bergy!

Go, T-dawg!

Good luck, guys.

TJ: Now, the two losing teams

had to come back to the house

and select one player to go against

either Wes or Tiffany.

Let's check out the votes.

First up, we got...

Alyssa S.

Two votes.

Michaela.

One vote.

Chanelle.

One vote for Chanelle.

TYLER: We thought it was gonna be a clear

Dusty landslide, and of course it's not.

Of course,

Wes somehow pulled some strings.

CASSIDY: I am so nervous.

I am just praying that the Hopper

is on my side tonight.

I need to see Wes out the door.

And Dusty.

Seven votes for Dusty.

DUSTY: My biggest fear has come to fruition.

Seven balls out of 11.

My father passed away,

and I'm begging my father

to protect me, to not be the name

that the Hopper spits out,

but realistically, in the back of my mind,

I'm gearing up for war.

Bye, Dusty. Come on down.

You the next contender to get your ass kicked

right out of this game. Bye.

TJ: As you saw last time,

you only need one vote in there

to go home.

So, good luck to all of you.

Now let's go to the Hopper. Fire it up.

Ooh.

*

All right.

-Tiffany? -Yes.

(gasps)

-All right. Tiffany? -Yes.

*

Go ahead and rejoin your team.

Wes, you're down here tonight.

Dusty, you're in.

Good luck, Dusty.

TIFFANY: Good luck, Wes.

I'm not playing. That's a fabulous thing.

That means I get another opportunity

to win my shot

at $250,000.

TJ: Dusty, how you feeling?

I'm ready to fucking eat, TJ.

Let's go. Bunch of cowards on my team.

They all threw me in.

I busted my ass for them.

I'm coming back.

All right. I like it.

Wes, what do you think?

Um, I mean, ditto.

Okay. All right.

Tonight you boys are playing Crank Shafted.

As you can see, there's a giant wheel behind me.

To begin, one of you

is gonna be standing on that wheel.

The other person is gonna be at the crankshaft.

When I say go, the person on the ground

is gonna have to come untie that first

little steering wheel.

You got to go in order, small to big.

You're gonna grab that small one,

come over here and try and use it.

If it's too hard, then you're gonna go back,

untie the second one.

Then, if you can't get it done,

you go to the third wheel.

You're gonna keep on going

until you get the person on the wheel off.

Your goal is to shake them off

as fast as you can.

Their goal is to stay on

as long as they can.

The person to stay

on the wheel the longest

will win tonight's elimination round

and stay in the game.

-Got it? -WES: Got it. -Good luck, boys.

-Good luck. Good luck, guys. -Good luck.

DUSTY: As a fan of The Challenge,

growing up, watching this for the last 20 years,

you don't earn your stripes until you go down

into the arena and bust someone's ass.

I hate that it's Wes.

It's a guy that I've watched

half of my life,

but I have to send his ass home.

WES: Here we are again.

I have always been foiled by knots.

I've lost four times

on knot untying contests.

But curses are meant to be broken.

All right, Dusty, go ahead and get up top.

You ready?

-Go! -(air horn blows)

Take your time, Wes.

Here we go!

Ooh.

MONTE: Wes seems to be going through this

very methodically

and very controlled.

I'm wondering if

he's going a little too slow,

but Wes is a smart guy. He knows how to strategize.

BANANAS: Let's go, boys!

TORI: There you go.

MONTE: Let's go, Wes. Go, go.

-JOSH: God job. -MONTE: Go directly to the second one, man.

WES: The first steering wheel

might be too small

to get enough leverage to create any sort of speed.

So you either have to be

incredibly strong

or strategically know

that you have to go to the next steering wheel,

but that's a big risk

because you have to untie it yet again.

There you go, Dust.

WES: There is a difference between

frantic and fast.

I am going as fast as I can.

I'm following along, I'm staying composed,

I'm looking at this as one big puzzle.

TORI: Good job, there you go.

Nice work. Yeah.

Nice work. Yeah!

-(cheering) -(air horn blows)

-Nice! -TORI: Good job.

Good job, Wes.

-Good job, Dusty. -Good job, Wes. Good job, Wes.

-Way to go. -TORI: Good job, boys.

Dusty might be able to pull this one out.

He's a wild card.

He's also got

this fire inside of him

so I could see him

just balls to the wall in this challenge.

If Dusty can take

a legend like Wes out of this game,

it'll be a huge relief to me

and I can go to bed safe and sound.

All right. Everybody ready?

-Go! -(air horn blows)

I'm definitely worried about

the winner of this elimination

using the power of defection,

which is nerve racking because right now

the Blue team is in a really good place

in this game.

DUSTY: I'm trying to untangle the rope

in the middle of the contraption holding the wheel,

and it is a pain in my ass.

MICHAELA: Instead of taking the more methodical

approach to the knots, Dusty's just....

...creating a tornado,

but his strategy seems to be working.

Good job.

*

FAYSAL: Dusty went straight to a second steering wheel.

It seems like a good strategy.

He's got a hell of a head start

and it does not look good

for Wes.

DESI: There you go.

Pull from the outside.

DUSTY: I hear Desi

yell at me

to work the ropes

from the outside, and I rip

the second wheel off immediately.

Wes, I'm about to crank yo ass.

TJ: Here we go.

Here we go!

MONTE: Nail biter.

(all shouting)

*

WES: Whoever is fastest at getting the player off

is going to win.

I'm gonna dance like a monkey

on top of that thing. TJ is going to

have to pull me off with his hands.

TJ: Here we go!

MONTE: Nail biter.

(air horn blows)

TJ: Wow.

-DUSTY: What! -MONTE: Good job, guys.

Wow.

CASSIDY: Dusty got Wes

off that wheel insanely fast.

It was kind of embarrassing.

-You got it. You got it. -TORI: Good job, Wes.

WES: I kind of know that I've lost.

It's time for my loser speech.

It's time to say goodbye.

I might never see an elimination

from this standpoint again.

*

-CORY: Good job, Wes. -(cheering)

-Good job, Wes. -Good job, Wes.

ALYSSA S.: I feel a little bit bad.

I know this meant a lot to him.

I know he's got

a baby on the way.

We're all thinking, "Okay, great.

"Now we have Dusty's chaotic energy

back in this house."

Well, it was a tight race.

37 seconds separated you. But in the end,

it was all strategy.

Like, Wes did really, really well with the ropes.

But Dusty, you killed it with the steering wheel.

And you even skipped the little steering wheel.

But, Wes...

...you win tonight.

-What? What? -JOSH: Oh, my God! Oh, my God!

(exclaiming)

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

I broke the knot untying curse.

I've emotionally

spent everything in that

gas tank,

but it feels great.

TORI: Keep your head up, Dusty.

Well, Dusty, unfortunately,

this ends your time here on The Challenge USA.

I really hope we see you in the future, man.

You will TJ, and I'll be better than ever.

TJ: All right. Take care, brother.

-Thank you, brother. -TORI: Love you, Dusty!

We love you, Dusty!

-DUSTY: It's been an honor, guys. It's been an honor. -We love you!

DUSTY: I'm devastated.

I thought I did enough to win,

but the damn Bergy.

Dad, thank you

for everything, man.

You were there with me from the beginning

and I hope I made you proud, man,

because I couldn't have gotten this far without you.

TJ: So, Wes,

do you want to stay with the Green team

or do you want to defect

and go to any other team you want?

WES: Well, I want

nothing to do with any of the teams.

(laughing)

Hurt my feelings. Hurt my feelings.

I'm taking Chris' spot.

Oh!

CHRIS: Saw that one coming.

Hey, much love, guys.

It's been fun. Been a good run.

I have put so much time, so much energy

into building my team, and now

Wes gets to swoop in,

take my spot. Fortunately, tomorrow is a new day.

This game is all about adapting and overcoming,

so Team Green,

here we are, guys.

Let's try to pull out a win.

Wes, you are the new player in the Blue group.

Go ahead.

-Wow! -All right, Wes.

-BANANAS: Get up here! -SEBASTIAN: Come on.

-TORI: Hey, there he is! -Get your ass!

(chanting): Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue...

I want to give the challengers the mathematical

power on Team Blue.

This is the move to build

some sort of a super team

of Challengers that will not only win the challenges,

but then have the power

to make the house vote our enemies.

Bury it. There you go.

FAYSAL: Dunk it in the...

Oh!

TJ: All right,

see you all at the next challenge.

-Get out of here. -CHRIS: All right.

(indistinct chatter)

CASSIDY: If I have to work with Wes to get

a little bit farther in this game, I will.

Keep your friends close, keep your enemies

closer, because who knows what he's gonna

try to do to get revenge on me.

TJ: Next on The Challenge: USA.

Love catches fire.

You can't deny the connection that Tyler and I have.

TJ: And the vet-heavy Blue team goes to work.

MICHEALA: The vets finally have power.

Every Big Brother

and Survivor player

is in danger.

TJ: And right when they start

to get comfortable, everything changes.

Oh, my God! Yes! Fuck yeah!
