Welcome to your next challenge

on this season of The Challenge: USA.

-(cheering) -How you feeling?

Today's challenge is called "Sideswiped."

To begin, two players at a time are gonna start

on one of those giant double stacker trucks.

Each player will have

eight tags with your team's color.

Your goal is to swing from your truck

past your opponent, and

stick your tags one by one

on the opposite truck.

All the while, trucks are gonna be flying

-down this runway. -(horn honks)

This game is gonna be played

in six rounds. Two players

from each team per round.

The teams with fewer people will have to have someone go twice.

The team to transfer

the most discs within five minutes

will win today's challenge.

Winning has never been more important

than it is today.

CORY: Anytime TJ teases

that there's a twist,

nobody is safe.

TJ: Winning has never been more

because

it is a double elimination.

You do not want to lose.

JOSH: The pressure is on the Red Team.

We're down two numbers, and not only that,

I feel like I really need safety.

The lines are being drawn,

and it's time to strike.

TJ: If there's any day to win,

MONTE: Boy, am I hyped for this one. I mean,

this is exactly what I signed up for.

We have to push ourselves off of one semitruck

to the other semitruck to then land discs

on our team colors.

It is just crazy.

WES: You have to jump

from one side to the other like Spider-Man

while potentially getting tackled midair?

There's a lot of chaos going on.

But I'm gonna get all eight points

because it's important for my team to win

because I am always going to be a target.

JOSH: I feel like I'm doing

really good in this challenge,

but I didn't stick two pieces hard enough,

and they ended up slipping off.

-Fuck! -All the brute force that I had

getting to the other truck

just screwed me completely up.

This doesn't look good on the Green Team.

Once again, I messed up.

CORY: The Red Team has not won a challenge yet,

and it's a double elimination.

The pressure to win this challenge can't be any higher.

I have my last dot, and I see Chris is playing defense,

and I'm just thinking,

CHRIS: He comes across

I think I underestimated

how difficult it actually is.

goes into complete defense mode and I'm just trying

to block her and dodge her.

with Desi; this can be an opportunity

for us to actually jump in the lead,

knock out Blue almost altogether

and hopefully, pull this thing home.

-(air horn blows) -Good job, guys.

(Amanda screaming)

CHANELLE: I'm locked in!

-TJ: Go! -(air horn blows)

CORY: Fessy comes to play.

And this is now my second time,

and if you get to go twice, you better do better

your second time.

CHRIS: It's very obvious

that Blue has a low shot of winning this thing.

The only way to keep our names

out of nomination is to help Team Red win

by playing nothing but defense

-against Team Green. -ALYSSA L.: Do we play

to make sure Green doesn't win

or do we play to make sure we're safe?

I have more friends and relationships

on the Green Team,

so it's a little awkward for me.

(whooping, cheering)

CORY: Let's go, Blue!

MICHAELA: Stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours.

-TORI: I don't think that's gonna happen. -Oh, well,

it's gonna be a show, then.

WES: We're on track, as Green, to win.

Michaela and Monte have this in the bag,

and I feel confident that things are gonna go our way.

TJ: All right, ready?

-Go! -Whoops!

BANANAS: I dropped my discs!

Chris is the strategist

for this absolutely insane plan.

If I'm gonna sacrifice our potential to win,

I'm gonna go down in a blaze of glory,

and I'm gonna kind of rub it in.

-(laughs) -(oohing)

CHANELLE: Damn!

-(air horn blows) -Oops! I dropped my discs.

LUIS: That's Tori and Bananas making a show, bro.

Drop all their shit and playing defense.

That's what they're doing.

WES: Which would throw the game to y'all.

It's either Red Team wins or Green Team wins,

and the last thing I want to do is see the Green Team win,

so seeing my friends go into defense

and fight their asses off to keep us safe,

has me on the edge of my seat right now.

This wasn't a matter

This was a matter of two teams partnering together

to make sure that the Green Team did not win.

There were deals made behind closed doors

that I wasn't a part of, and I couldn't get ahead of that.

before you guys could start winning.

to go back to the house and select one man

and one woman to send into the Arena.

And those two players will be competing,

because this is a double elimination day.

Then, when we get down to the Arena,

Red Team, you had to come back

and nominate two people-- one man and one woman--

to send into the Arena where they will be competing tonight.

And you chose Desi

-and Luis, so come on out. -(applause)

Let's go, guys.

TJ: The rest of you had to come back to the house

and, in secret, vote for two players

to put in the Hopper.

And the votes are as follows.

We'll start with the men.

Tyler...

Sebastian:

Wes: two votes.

Monte: two votes.

Bananas: one vote.

And Chris...

...six votes.

CHRIS: When I see that I have

six balls in the Hopper, it fires me up.

If I come back into this house,

I'm coming back for revenge.

Cassidy: two votes.

And Amanda...

MONTE: Whoa.

(laughs)

CHRIS: You need a bigger screen, TJ.

MONTE: Wow.

-TJ: Nine votes. -Fuck you guys.

-(TJ laughs) -WES: Wait a second.

What happened here?

My team told me to vote for Chris and Cassidy.

These unsuspecting non-gamers just trying to play

a clean game just blindsided one of their own.

TJ: All right, so let's see

what the Hopper has in store for you tonight.

AMANDA: Please, luck be on my side.

TJ: Okay, in my hands are the names

of two players who will come down here

to take on Luis and Desi.

They are...

(laughs): Aww.

Amanda, and...

Chris.

-(applause) -FAYSAL: Come on, Chris.

Come on, guys.

DESI: The skies have parted,

God is shining down on me,

because Amanda is the vote, I'm going against her

in a physical competition, and I love

that our plan ultimately worked out

and Wes had no idea.

TJ: So, tonight, you are all playing

"Evil Eye."

To begin, you and your opponent will start in the center

of the Arena holding onto either side of the Evil Eye.

When I say go, you will try and get it out of the ring

in sole possession by any means necessary.

If you're in possession of that Evil Eye

outside of the rope, you win.

So let's see who has what it takes.

Men, you're up first.

(cheering, applause)

-Let's go, guys. -Come on, Chris!

CHRIS: I played, uh, college football.

I know how to make physical contact.

Luis is too nice to know what's about to come for him.

LUIS: Chris is a great opponent,

so it's gonna be a challenge, but as a firefighter,

I do believe having that career has helped me for this.

You know? It's helped me build strength,

helped me build endurance, and I'm ready.

Let's go, baby!

All right, gentlemen, both of you grab this.

TYLER: Come on, boys. Let's go!

(cheering)

-CORY: Here it is, fellas. -Go!

-Go! -TYLER: Come on, Luis, fight!

-Keep it close, Luis. -MONTE: There it is!

Get it under your body, Luis-- under your legs!

DUSTY: Luis runs into burning buildings,

whereas Chris, he seems to be a homebody.

He's a great guy, I have no ill will towards you,

but I hope Luis busts your ass.

MONTE: Use that leverage. Come on, Luis. You got it!

TYLER: Wear him out! Wear him out!

DESI: I knew this was gonna be a physical challenge,

but I didn't expect it to be quite as violent.

Like, they're hurting each other.

(laughs): And so, now I'm terrified

to go and play this game.

TYLER: Make it uncomfortable!

-JOSH: Come on, boys! -Make it uncomfortable!

TYLER: This is, this is getting real.

These are both physical competitors.

It really could be anybody's game here.

BANANAS: Roll, Chris! You got to roll!

FAYSAL: There it is, Chris!

TYLER: Grab it, grab it, Luis! Grab it!

TJ: Well done.

FAYSAL: Way to work, Chris!

(cheering, applause)

FAYSAL: Hell yeah, Chris!

CHRIS: Oh, man, I'm exhausted,

but I'm feeling so good to still be in this game.

That thing was, that was hard.

Luis put up a fight.

He was super gritty.

My game's not over yet.

I still got a lot to prove out here.

-TYLER: Good job, Luis. -MONTE: Hey, Luis!

FAYSAL: Great job, Luis!

Great battle, fellas.

Women, you're up next. Let's go.

AMANDA: I'm a little nervous.

Desi is one of the strongest girls,

if not the strongest girl in the house.

But I'm known to be scrappy, someone who hits the low blows,

so maybe all of that will zone in tonight,

and I'll get that Evil Eye out of that ring in my hand.

DESI: With a game like this, the most important things

are speed, strength and just the fight to keep going,

and that's certainly something I have.

I competed in pageants for years and years

until I came out on top.

And after the way I went out last season,

I made it my mission to make sure

that I came back to make it to the final,

so I'm ready to go out there and win this thing.

TJ: All right. Both of you grab this.

Hold onto it.

-Good fight, Amanda. -Keep fighting.

DUSTY: Come on, girls. This is it.

Go!

Grab that shit!

DUSTY: Fight, girl!

-MONTE: Good work! -There you go!

DUSTY: Good job, good job.

WES: Yes, Amanda is one of the smaller women

to ever be on The Challenge,

but you don't do this many seasons and not find a way

to outkick your coverage,

and that's what Amanda's doing right now.

JOSH: Hold on, hold on!

TYLER: Wear her down, wear her down.

All right, Amanda, pull it back.

-SEBASTIAN: Go, go, go! Go, go, go! -DUSTY: Yeah, Amanda!

AMANDA: Oh, my God.

Maybe I can wear her out if she keeps pulling and pushing me,

I just have to hang on.

I need to fight to stay in this game.

-BANANAS: There you go! -MONTE: Good job, girl!

TORI: As much as I would like to say

Amanda is trash, she's actually really impressing me tonight.

-BANANAS: There you go! -TORI: Yeah!

JOSH: Yeah! Good work!

TYLER: Keep control! Keep control!

BANANAS: Stay there, Amanda. Wear her out!

DESI: I expected it to be a little bit easier than it was,

so I think it was a little bit of a rude awakening,

it was a little bit of-of humility in the process.

But I also knew this was

my opportunity to sort of prove to myself

and prove to the other competitors

that I can do this, and that

I deserve to potentially win The Challenge.

TJ: Great battles, both of you.

Amazing. Unfortunately, Luis,

this ends your time here on The Challenge,

but you are a great competitor,

and I really hope we see you in the future, man.

I-I'm so h-- so glad for the opportunity.

but we've seen Blue win time and time again,

and I think my safest level of protection in this game

who want to get me out of the game.

and obviously, I have some of my closest allies there.

I have Tyler and Monte, and I'm so excited

to play on their team,

but this is the smallest team in the house.

They just lost Luis and Amanda,

so I'm hoping this isn't a death sentence.

WES: It's bad enough that they blindsided Amanda,
