Original subtitles

TJ: For this season of The Challenge: USA,

we brought together 28 elite players

from The Amazing Race,

Big Brother, Love Island,

-and Survivor... -TYSON: We don't give up!

-Survivor strong. -TJ: ...to compete

in a series of grueling challenges

and eliminations.

(both screaming)

TJ: One by one, challengers have fallen.

11 remain.

But there are only ten spots

in the final challenge.

Tonight, the six remaining women will compete to earn

the last spot for the final challenge

and come face-to-face

with their greatest test yet.

(shuddering)

We've been soaking wet for two days.

TJ: A brutal odyssey of mind and body...

ALYSSA: I don't want to be partnered with him in the final.

TJ: ...that will push them to their absolute limits.

Holy shit.

TJ: $500,000 is at stake.

-Help! -TJ: And only the challengers

who finish the final

will keep their bank accounts,

while the winning male and female

-will split the remaining money... -(coughing)

TJ: ...earn the title of Challenge champion...

-Concentrate. -TJ: ...and a chance to represent

Team USA in The Challenge world championship,

airing exclusively on Paramount+.

Crossing the finish line is a bitch.

DOMENICK: I am strongly considering quitting.

(yells)

DANNY: Do we have a doctor?

(cheering)

There's only one more girl elimination left.

If I make it through this, I'm in that final,

and if any of us women feel safe,

we're kidding ourselves

'cause we have to stay on our toes in this game.

I don't feel good until I know what

this next challenge is.

I'm nervous.

Even though it's a female elimination, it's still very

important for one of us guys to win this

because the situation arises

where we have to pick a partner. In the final,

we want to make sure we have the right girls

still in this game, so that

we know that we're covered with all the right people.

-Good job, Enzo. -Thank you.

Go get in the shower, man.

Yeah, I'm gonna take a nice shower.

Angela's been playing this game the whole time,

which I have no idea why.

She's been dominating and winning.

-What are you scared of? -She's been winning the daily challenges.

-She's never been put into elimination. -They're scared.

CAYLA: There's other people

that could've been picked other than you.

Look at me. I'm in here fighting for my life.

CAYLA: It's no surprise that there's still

a very strong group in the compound

that includes Angela and Alyssa.

It is do-or-die that Alyssa or Angela lose

to guarantee that

it's Angela or Alyssa going down into an elimination.

-(stammers) We'll talk later. -Good job.

-Good job. -Thank you, Cayla, thank you.

Final ten.

Fuck out of here, you bunch of rats. (munching)

* *

ALYSSA: I know.

They're so nervous.

I got to eat.

I'm still forcing this down my throat.

What if it's an eating challenge, and then we're full?

(chuckles)

ALYSSA: My drive in here was to prove that

I am a true competitor.

I am a true strategist. That wasn't really shown

on my season of Big Brother, unfortunately.

I go to sleep at night being proud

of how I've played, and I'm

so close to the final.

I need to try to have some power in this game

to set me up for the next female elimination.

ANGELA: Hoping it's water.

I feel like we're due for water soon.

Yeah, better be.

It's been a while,

and it hasn't been too cold either,

-which should be nice. -Yeah.

ANGELA: There's one more girls' elimination,

and winning these competitions is crucial

because you want to set yourself apart from people.

You want people to respect you, to be afraid of you.

I have been winning competitions.

If they want to step up to me,

I'm not afraid to go against them.

SARAH: I have got to win this next challenge

because I don't trust anybody.

I don't trust any of those guys to not

throw me into an elimination.

Well, I trust Cayla and Justine, but besides that,

leave me alone.

I'm still going for it, and I want the control.

I want to be able to make that decision, and I want more money.

Time is gonna come when you have to make

the decision to do things you don't want to do.

At the end of the day, you got to be logical

and do what's smart because your true alliance

is to the people back at home, that's it.

I'm playing for my wife, Kiki.

I'm playing for my daughter, Zoe.

I want to make sure that being on

The Challenge is worth it when I get home.

So, whatever you have to do to ensure

the money for the family at home,

that's the decision you need to make.

(video call ringing)

-How you doing, babe? -I'm good. How are you?

I'm good. Okay, hairdo, okay.

I see you. Looking good. Okay.

Ah, Zoe. How you doing, Zoe?

She just had a full fit.

She doesn't want to put on her Easter dress.

She'd rather look like MC Hammer, so here she is.

DANNY: I like the jacket, though. It's shiny.

-(laughs) -KIKI: Of course.

Zoe, we're talking to Daddy right now.

DANNY: Aw, she's so happy. Look at you, Zoe.

I can't believe that this thing is almost over.

The Challenge is one of the toughest things

that I've ever done, but my family drives me.

I just think about them, and them being at home

without me and all they sacrificed

for me to be here,

and it helps me get through the day.

I'll be home soon.

-You better win. -DANNY: I'm doing all I can.

Oh, oh, oh, I see you. Yeah.

Chris Breezy with the dance moves.

Bye-bye. Love you.

DOMENICK: We get news that we need to prepare

for a challenge tonight.

We don't go out at night for daily challenges.

Something is about to happen.

What are we doing?

TJ puts us in the back of this truck.

No, what? I don't like it.

DESI: The truck that a serial killer would probably capture

all the people

that they're going to take out to bury

in the middle of the desert.

(engine revs)

ALYSSA: This is scary. I don't like it.

DANNY: Where are we going?

CAYLA: I'm thinking we're going to be,

like, buried alive, or...

I-I don't know. It's creepy as hell.

I hate this!

My heart is just racing.

-(clattering) -(screaming)

Help me, guys! I'm scared.

-No. -No!

-Stop. -Oh, my God.

-(screaming) -TYSON: People are starting to freak out,

which makes me actually more comfortable.

People's panic just, like, soothes me. I'm here for it.

-(screaming) -We are not doing this!

Oh!

Yo, what is this?

ENZO: What are we doing at night?

Right away, when I hear stuff like this,

I'm thinking swimming.

We're going into the water at night.

I'm terrified.

All right, everyone. Welcome to your next challenge.

Yeah.

TJ: You have all proven you deserve to be here.

But this is your biggest challenge yet.

If you can't do this,

you might as well go home right now because you have no idea

what I have in store for you in the final.

Tonight, you are playing "Getting Tired."

Why? Because you're going to be getting tired.

While getting tires, all right? Now,

you're going to start on the shore

of this lake. When I say "go,"

you will jump in that lake, swim all the way across

500 meters.

Once you get across, you start running

until you find an abandoned town.

This whole place is an old military complex,

and it is spooky.

You're going to see a bunch

of tires and tokens.

Tokens are only worth one point, but the tires

are all different colors.

Different colors

are worth different points.

The higher the value of the tire, the more difficult

it will be to get.

You have to solve a puzzle for the pink and red tires.

Gather as many points as you can.

You can take as many trips as you want, but just know

you can only take one item back at a time to the drop zone,

and it is a one-kilometer run every time.

After two hours...

I'm going to stop you.

We're going to add up all the points.

The male and female with the most points

will be safe from elimination and also receive $10,000

to split in your Challenge accounts.

Because it's a female elimination,

the woman who gets last will be going directly into elimination,

and the final is right around the corner.

So you don't want to get last.

All right, good luck, everyone. Let's go.

SARAH: I was

Survivor Strong, I was

Fab Five. At this point, Cayla and Justine

are like my ride-or-die girls.

I will do anything in my power to get myself to the final

and to get them there.

ALYSSA: Angela and I have been targeted in the past,

so it's definitely crucial for one of us to win,

and hopefully, it is me who wins.

All right, everyone ready?

It is absolutely crucial

for myself, Sarah or Justine

to win this daily challenge because we need

to have control of who the nomination is.

Go!

Go!

SARAH: It's cold, and it's dark,

but this challenge is going to start out with a swim.

Wait. What?

Then we have two hours

of collecting as many tires

as we can in an attempt

to make the most number

of points you can.

This is going to be brutal.

CAYLA: The second I get onto dry land,

my left foot completely slips

and sinks knee-deep into mud.

I have rocks

scraping my leg,

and my foot has just completely sunk into a sinkhole,

and I've fallen to the side.

I now have to give myself a second go, and before

I can even attempt to go,

Sarah has now rammed her head.

And just completely given me a boost.

And I am so thankful.

(panting)

TYSON: When you get to town, you have to find tires

that are color-coded,

and the color is a certain

denomination of points.

I know the pinks are worth 20,

so I'm trying

to find the pink tires first.

If there is only a couple of pink tires here,

it's worth spending a little time on, because then,

you're also saving energy to go back and forth more times.

BEN: Tyson beasted it on the swim, as per usual.

I'm the second one to the town,

so I start looking for another pink tire,

and I can't find a pink tire.

More red.

So now I have to figure out how to get

the next most amount of points,

which is the red tire.

That's red.

ANGELA: My goal is to find one of the pink tires,

and I have a feeling there's not many of them there,

but I see one on this slide puzzle.

Nice. Real nice.

Sure, it's dark, and it's a little bit scary,

but my strategy is simple.

Look for the tires with the most amount of points

so that you have to take fewer trips back and forth.

It's that easy.

They go like this.

Okay.

No.

I think we got to go in the building.

BEN: My legs are on fire.

JUSTINE: I hate Halloween.

I hate haunted houses.

(eerie breathing)

I feel like TJ just enjoys this.

My strategy is

to get as many high-point tires

as I can. I want to try to save my energy as much as possible.

Work smarter, not harder.

DANNY: These noises--

it sounded like zombies are all over the place.

This is going to suck.

But as long as Enzo is here, you know where I won't be?

Last place.

Enzo-- you know,

I think he lives in last place.

ENZO: I'm not Mike Phelps.

I thought I knew how to swim.

I come out here, and, yeah, no.

And now, I'm terrified of water, which I got to get over that.

At this point, I don't really care about the money.

To have that champion title is so special,

especially at 44 years old.

I just got to figure out a way

to fenagle a way to get to this final.

ALYSSA: I'm just trying to find tires

that aren't the blue ones yet.

Those are only three points.

I'd rather wait until I'm feeling more gassed out.

So I'm trying to find the ones

that have five points, seven points or ten points,

but don't waste too much time

on the higher point ones.

There. Good.

Can we cut across here?

ENZO: Oh, fuck.

Blue's my favorite color, yo.

So let's grab the blue tires

and let's keep it moving.

But while I'm doing that,

I'm seeing creepy mannequins.

Their face was melted.

It was like House of Wax.

Some of those rooms look like Saw, like Jigsaw

put the room together. There's body parts places.

-How are you doing over there? -TYSON: Doing pretty good.

I feel like every time I'm getting close,

something's got to be, like, really moved around.

TYSON: One piece away.

ANGELA: I don't think I can finish this.

I think I need to move on. I just really messed it up.

-Oh, I got it. I got it. -You did?

-Good job, Ty. -Good?

Look at mine. It's definitely worth

-taking your time to get it. -Worth... I will.

It's 20 points.

ANGELA: I am really worried about the amount of time

that I am taking on this puzzle.

But I don't know

how many other colored tires

are out there.

I just need to get this slide puzzle done

and make an assessment

of my progress after I'm completed.

SARAH: There's two tires worth 20.

Tyson's got one of them,

and Angela is standing

at the puzzle to get the other one.

The next highest tire is a red tire, and my goal now

is to get a red tire.

Okay. That looks good.

Come on.

JUSTINE: And I'm about to give up,

God says, "I got you."

In walks Tyson, who is brilliant at these things.

Good? You're welcome, Justine. Don't forget this.

JUSTINE: Tyson gets it within, like, five seconds.

How do I still not know what he did?

This is perfect.

I'm just going to try to cheat off of him.

I can literally taste the final.

I feel like we're right there.

Done.

This piece...

ALYSSA: Obviously, I care a lot about Angela, and to see every

lap I take, she's still on this puzzle,

really stresses me out.

-Have you gotten any, Alyssa? -I have ten points total.

Her losing still makes me feel like I'm losing in this game.

TYSON: Keep going, Angela.

If you get that, you're going to be sitting pretty.

-That's all you need. -Okay.

Let's just get these and go.

'Cause Angela doesn't have anything yet.

CAYLA: Angela is in the same place from where she started.

I'm running back with probably

my sixth or seventh tire at this point,

and Angela hasn't even gotten one.

By all means, please take the time. I want her to lose.

DOMENICK: I see a lot of people working hard

and putting a lot of effort in.

And now it's a close race between me and Tyson.

I want to win this thing for my family. I've come this far.

Let's finish this thing.

Good?

Right there!

Each trip is one kilometer carrying a tire.

One kilometer adds up over two hours,

and we have made this trip so many times.

This is exhausting.

Okay. We are kind of-- Oh, my God.

You need that 20 points now, Angela.

Tyson, I don't know if I can do this.

I go into these challenges and want to give

my very best,

but I am really worried about this puzzle.

I am actually seeing myself in an elimination.

I am terrified at this point.

Oh, my gosh.

I need to switch one.

ANGELA: I know for a fact I'm in last, but maybe

people are not finding tires anymore,

and if I can just take this tire

and look for tokens, I can maybe make up some time.

TYSON: Just keep circling them around a little bit.

They'll come together.

But every time I do it, I get so fucked up.

Angela spent so much time at this one puzzle.

I think her ego got the best of her

while the rest of us started racking up points.

(panting)

Oh, my God, I did it!

Oh, my God.

After I put my pink tire on my pole,

I run back to the abandoned town.

But I am starting to lose faith.

Ha. Yo! No fucking way!

(laughs)

(shouts)

There's this elevated piece of concrete.

It's dark, I'm wet,

and I'm just running as fast as I can.

And I hit it once, the tire falls...

Fuck, dude.

And I crush my shoulder.

Yeah.

But I have to keep going.

-TJ: Five minutes left! -We're tied.

TYSON: Ben and Dom are both catching me

because they're finding bigger-point tires still.

I'm just starting to take tokens. I don't know.

And I'm getting a little agitated by this

'cause I've run more laps than everybody.

ALYSSA: How much time do you think we have?

-DOMENICK: Not much. -ALYSSA: Holy shit.

TJ: Two minutes. Get it done!

-TJ: This is it. -I didn't see any more.

-(air horn blows) -Time! That's it. Shut it down.

(sighs)

That was not fun.

Fuck, dude.

TJ: Great challenge tonight, everyone. Way to go.

Now, two guys scored 52 points,

and that was Tyson and Domenick.

(applause)

They tied for first place.

We don't have a tiebreaker, so you're both winning.

-Congratulations to both of you. -Good job.

DOMENICK: Tyson has been an endurance beast out here.

And this is one that I'm fairly certain

he thought he was going to lock up.

And the fact that I tied with him for first place

really, really shook him.

TYSON: Dom, I'm sure it's a great honor for him

to tie in something with me.

I don't feel the same, but, like, whatever.

Now, congratulations.

One woman getting 42 points. Sarah.

-(whooping, applause) -Whoa!

TJ: Wow.

SARAH: I'd never won an individual challenge

on three seasons of Survivor,

the entire season of The Challenge,

and I finally get my first win.

This is great. I'm safe.

I finally have power.

I saw all those marathons. I saw all the experience.

I saw Officer Sarah with the flashlight killing it.

You get 5,000.

Domenick and Tyson, you split 5,000,

so 2,500 each.

Congratulations. Now you are all safe from elimination.

Congratulations.

Just keep growing that wealth gap,

just the way I like it.

The rich get richer.

I need you all three to deliberate and nominate

one woman to go against tonight's loser...

who is Angela, with 24 points.

So, I'll be seeing you in the Arena. Get out of here.

Knowing that Sarah won this and I got last absolutely sucks.

But I feel like I've done a lot for Tyson to keep him safe.

He's done the same for me.

So I feel like he's going to be able to help me out

as much as he can to give me

the person that I want to go into an elimination with.

JUSTINE: This is the absolute best outcome.

Cayla, Sarah, Desi and I have been waiting

for this moment the whole season.

Good job.

SARAH: The last female elimination,

Alyssa and Angela

straight up sabotaged my game.

So to repay the favor only makes sense.

But I am sharing power with not one but two guys.

So I need to make sure at least one of them

will side with me.

How are you feeling this morning? Fresh?

-Like you got a little jog in? -Fantastic. Uh-huh.

What do you think Sarah's gonna want to do?

Alyssa.

ANGELA: Do you think Dom's going

to want to, like, pick someone he wants

-to run the final with, maybe? -Yes.

So I need to sell him on Cayla not being able

-to get up the rope yesterday. -She has no upper body strength.

I do feel fine for Angela. I think she's going to be

the favorite against anybody in pretty much anything.

But Alyssa has been loyal to me in this game, Cayla has not.

When I do, like, the deliberation with you guys,

-I'm not gonna tell Sarah anything. -Yeah.

I'm just gonna say, "Do what you want."

-Yeah. -"Have fun. Enjoy."

-Okay. -"Enjoy your relationship

with Justine and Cayla."

-Yeah, exactly... -The last two minutes of it.

(hums dramatically)

ANGELA: This is the first time that I am on

this side of the couch,

which is not the ideal place to be.

This is the end of the game,

and at this point I don't have any moves left.

I'm basically a sitting duck here.

Hmm, so...

Why don't you tell us your thoughts

on the options that are there?

I feel like, this far in the game, my opinions of who I

want to go against and who I don't want to go against

are somewhat irrelevant because your

relationships are very strong at this point.

But I would like to not go against Alyssa or Desi.

I think that they've earned their spot in the final,

and I would love to compete against the best of the best.

I want to compete against the best also.

And honestly, Alyssa's performance yesterday was the

-worst out of... -Well, that was just yesterday.

I think if you look at all

of the other challenges collectively...

Right, but that's more what the...

-final's gonna be like. -Final's gonna be based on.

Cayla might not have even been able to get out of

the water had somebody not been there for her.

Maybe not.

I'm just curious, straight up, like,

from a non-relationship standpoint,

I know it's hard to say because you don't want to say it maybe,

but I just want to-- Like, I'm curious

who, like, you would choose.

I feel like my input here is really kind of irrelevant, so...

It's not irrelevant.

-All right. -Love you guys.

TYSON: Angela just stands up and leaves, and I'm like,

that was awesome.

SARAH: You think it's irrelevant, but you're not even trying.

And that's why you won't be successful,

because you don't even try.

Tyson, who would you want to throw in?

I would put Cayla in.

SARAH: Cayla's a hard no for me.

And Alyssa's a hard one for me.

So it might just have to come to some type

of disagreement where either Angela then gets

to choose who comes in against her, or a house vote.

I think they'll do majority rules on it.

-Two out of three here? -Yeah, possibly.

I have a better relationship with the other

girls in the house than I do with Alyssa,

but Justine and Cayla are not part

of this alliance that we've formed.

And this is where it gets sticky,

because Tyson has one idea,

Sarah has another idea, and I have my own idea.

So this is going to be a real tricky thing to navigate.

-ALYSSA: How's it going? -DOMENICK: It's going.

ALYSSA: Well, the only thing I can say,

I feel like I have a lot of

mental toughness, a lot of drive, a lot of heart.

I really feel like I've proved myself.

And there's been different kinds of

challenges, and I've never gotten last,

other than the car one.

I think Sarah obviously wants me in,

but I'm hoping that Tyson and Dom

have my back like I've had their back.

If I do get sent in, I have to

go against Angela, and I don't think

I would have the right mindset going in because

I don't want to go against a friend.

(FaceTime rings)

-TYLER: Hello. -Hi, babe.

-Happy birthday. -Thank you.

-Aw, babe. -Just hanging out.

You're so sweet.

Going on Big Brother and coming off the show

with Tyler was the most amazing experience of my life.

We've been engaged for a year and a half.

-Aw, I love it. -I made you a cake.

You made me a cake?

(laughs)

-This is a card. -Aw.

Happy birthday, babe. I love you

and I miss you more than I can even express.

I'm so proud of you for never backing down

from a challenge.

You inspire me every day...

(crying)

...to be a better person, and for that I will

forever be grateful and the luckiest person in the world.

-I love you. -I love you.

-Happy birthday. Bye, babe. -Bye.

I know I have Tyler at home that's rooting for me.

He's thinking about me every minute of the day.

I keep that in the back of my mind,

and I have everything I need

to crush this elimination.

Here's the thing. If Alyssa would have performed

-out of this world, I would say he's got an argument. -Right.

The game has been run by Tyson and Angela getting

-to make whatever fucking moves they've wanted. -Right.

And I'm sorry, but I will put my foot down at this point.

Like, "Dude, you've made this

"pretty miserable for a lot of people in here.

"Could you just take a back seat?

Because Dom and I are in the front seat, and you're not."

You have to be willing to win some and lose some.

And so far, he's only won some.

I'm getting a hard pitch from Alyssa, Tyson and Sarah.

I think Cayla's out here for herself completely.

She doesn't stick her neck out for anybody.

Now I have power, and I have a decision to make,

and I feel like, you know what?

I want to go to the final with people I want to go with.

I really should entertain my options.

I just straight up

want to make this decision without him influencing it.

* *

* *

All right, everyone, welcome back to the Arena.

This is a very special night

because it is the last elimination round.

That's right. It all comes down to this.

And the one woman who's been dominating all season

just couldn't get it done on the last challenge.

Angela, come on out.

(applause)

ENZO: Now she gets to taste what an elimination feels like.

So I kind of feel like

that's karma. You know, you threw me in,

-you're going in now. -How are you feeling?

-I feel good. -Yeah?

This is the last elimination round.

-Awesome. -This is it.

The stakes are massive.

-Got it. -Just making sure that you knew.

(both chuckle)

So, three winners for the first time this season.

Tyson, Sarah and Domenick.

You get to select one woman to go against

one of the hardest players I've ever seen.

Angela. Right now. All the marbles.

Tyson, we'll start with you. I have to choose Cayla.

Cayla, that's one vote for you.

-Sarah. -My vote is going for Alyssa.

So that's one vote for Cayla, one vote for Alyssa.

It all boils down to Domenick. It is your decision.

Who do you want to send down here

right now to go against Angela?

For me, the relationships I built in the beginning of

this game have lasted throughout.

There's one person in particular that really was

a little bit too late for me. That person is Alyssa.

So Alyssa is my vote to go in tonight.

Alyssa, come on down.

-Good luck, Alyssa. -Thank you.

(overlapping chatter)

DOMENICK: Tyson keeps pitching that Cayla

is not strong enough to do the final.

Just in case we're working as teams.

We won a challenge together.

She's great with puzzles.

She can run, she can swim.

We need Cayla in this final. Tyson, you didn't get your way.

You didn't have control tonight, and that pleases me.

This is crazy.

I wouldn't have wanted to play it any other way.

For the final elimination, we are bringing out

a Challenge staple, one of the most famous

games in the history of The Challenge.

This is Pole Wrestle.

(applause)

To begin, you're gonna start by holding on to that pole.

And when I say go, you will push, pull and prod that pole

away from your opponent by any means necessary.

First two out of three will win tonight's elimination round,

stay in the game going for the big money,

and take all of their opponent's money.

Lot of money on the line tonight. $33,500.

-Good luck. -Thank you.

Love you.

I think I'm gonna be playing more of, um, defense,

more than offense and just try to hold on,

and maybe Angela will get tired out before I finish.

I don't really know if she ever gets tired,

but I'm gonna try my best.

ANGELA: First elimination,

also the last elimination.

Just had to get it in before the final.

This is The Challenge. Sometimes you have to go

against people you don't want to.

As soon as my hands hit that pole, it is game time.

SARAH: I'm so happy.

Angela and Alyssa, the two that tried to sabotage me,

getting ready to go into battle against each other.

-You know what? Karma's a bitch. -You got it, girl.

-TJ: All right. -DANNY: Let's go.

Best two out of three. You ready?

-Hold tight! -Go!

All right, best two out of three. You ready?

This is a worst-case scenario for me.

I love this girl.

She's fought week after week to be here.

-It is heartbreaking. -Go!

Hold tight!

BEN: Good job, good job.

Oh, they're fighting, they're fighting.

When I grip onto the pole,

it's much thicker than I thought.

And I can already tell my grip

is nowhere near as tight as Angela's.

I'm gonna need to try to keep this pole

as close as possible.

-Come on. -DESI: Nice job, girl.

(grunting)

-Mind over matter. -BEN: Let's go!

(air horn blows)

TJ: All right.

I am ecstatic to see Angela down in an elimination.

DESI: It would be beautiful if somehow we get Angela

out of the final.

Ultimately, if she gets knocked out,

that's a strong competitor gone.

It would be great for all of the women in this game.

It would just be great. Bye.

Score is one-nothing-- Angela.

Angela, you win this one, it's over.

Alyssa, you got to win this one to stay in the game. All right?

The fact that Angela just won against me in

the first round is a little discouraging,

but it kind of gets me more fired up.

TJ: All right, you ready?

-(air horn blows) -Go.

BEN: Nice. Nice.

TYSON: Don't let go. Keep it up.

-ENZO: Hold tight! -TYSON: Don't let go.

I don't want to do this. I don't want to hurt Alyssa.

I don't want to take

her life in this game away from her.

So I just want to make it short and sweet.

I want this to be over in as little time as possible.

BEN: Let's go!

-ENZO: Hold tight! -BEN: Let's go!

(air horn blows)

(applause)

SARAH: Fastest elimination I think I've ever seen.

Alyssa, you're out of here.

(crying)

-ALYSSA: It's okay. -ANGELA: I'm sorry...

ALYSSA: It's okay.

-It's okay, it's okay. -DESI: Nice job, ladies.

-BEN: Good job, girls. -ENZO: Good job, good job.

It's okay.

(crying)

I just hate that I had to be the one

to... take her dream of making it

to the final away.

You're tearing yourself into two pieces.

Like, this one person is just, like, ready to fight

and this other person is just,

like, wants to be compassionate and just, like, hug her.

And you're, like-- It's just such a tearing feeling.

It's-- it honestly just sucks.

TJ: That was an amazing performance, Angela.

You showed why you are so dominant in this game.

Alyssa, unfortunately, this ends your time here on The Challenge

for now, but I'm sure we'll see you in the future. Take care.

Thank you. Love you guys.

-I'm so proud of you. -I love you.

I love you. I'm so proud of you.

DANNY: Angela is having a very tough time.

This is a person who has not shown any emotion

throughout the entire Challenge.

Now all I'm seeing is tears,

and I'm saying the ice is cracked.

The ice queen is no more.

Even though I lost, and it does suck because it's right before

the final, I'm just happy Angela gets the chance

because I feel like she deserves it out of anyone here.

(voice breaking): And I'm just really proud of her, um...

'Cause I know, um, she was overlooked

on Big Brother.

Angela is definitely winning.

She's better than every man or woman here

combined, so I know she's going to win it.

And I'm already proud of her 'cause I already know she won.

-Bye, guys. Love you, Angela. -You're a beast, Alyssa.

Well, Angela, it's all your fault. She's out of here.

-(both laughing) -Stop.

You're gonna make me cry again.

I know, and that's what I'm trying to do.

-It's working. -She's gone for good.

Congratulations. You win tonight's elimination round.

And with that, you just padded your bank account.

That's a lot.

$33,500.

Not bad.

Go ahead and rejoin the group.

Attagirl.

Congratulations to each and every one of you.

You have all qualified and are all going to run my final.

(cheering, applause)

(laughter)

BEN: My shoulder's messed up,

but I know that Tyson's

my strongest competitor.

I know that I missed

an opportunity to take him out before,

but I'm ready to go in this final.

I can't wait to see what TJ has planned for us next.

-(applause and cheering) -SARAH: I came here

to win this game, and I'm not convinced

Angela has the endurance.

And that's what you need in the final

is endurance, so,

Angela, honey, I'm coming for you.

The next time I see you...

...we will be in the mountains.

-Okay? -My land.

It's my land.

Careful what you wish for.

I hope you're ready.

BEN: Challenge!

I absolutely never thought I would be here at the final,

but here I am with these competition beasts,

and I'm one of 'em.

CAYLA: TJ's finals

are grueling, and

there are some people in this house that, quite frankly,

I don't think know what to expect.

I know to expect

some really terrible stuff,

and I'm ready for it.

(laughter, indistinct chatter)

-It's go time! -Let's go! -Yeah!

We march to the mountains! We march to the mountains!

One, two, three!

ALL: Final ten!

One, two, three!

ALL: Final ten!

BEN: Hey, buddy, I'm proud of you.

-I'm fucking proud of you. -I'm very proud of you.

-We made it to the final. -I know.

I'm gonna go get this thing bumped up and checked out.

-Yeah. -So that way, when we get to the mountains,

you and I can kill it.

My shoulder is throbbing.

At this point, I'm not really worried about it affecting me.

Anything that happens to me,

I've always pushed through the pain.

This is no different from playing football

or being in the Marine Corps.

I have to push through the pain and win this money.

We're here. Might as well do it.

Don't have any other choice now.

Ha. Don't say it like that, fucker.

No, I'm saying, but to win.

-(laughing) -But to win, but to win, goober.

Well, it's been, uh, an unexpected journey for me.

Didn't think I'd make it past day three.

Here we are... about to enter the finals.

CAYLA: At the end of the day, everyone that's here

deserves to be here.

Hard right. Hard right.

(overlapping shouting)

-(horn honks) -(whoops)

Come on, baby! Let's go!

-(ding) -Yes!

TYSON: I am the clear favorite

to win the final.

At this point, I'm only playing to win.

(overlapping shouting)

-(air horn blows) -All right, that's it.

Oh! You don't give up!

Go!

-I love you, girl. -Oh.

TJ: That's how it's done.

-(air horn blows) -(screams)

(grunts) Check.

-(air horn blows) -All right, Danny. Somebody wants to go

to the final.

DANNY: The game has come to an end, our alliances

are over, and it's time to think about a way to win the final.

TYSON: If this is a battle of endurance,

I definitely have the advantage,

so I'm feeling pretty confident.

ANGELA: I have a vengeance now.

All these people

were trying to take me out.

I have fuel now for my fire.

It's the morning of the finale. We've been up since 2:00 a.m.

We're on a freaking private jet.

I was literally

an 11-year-old girl watching The Challenge,

and I couldn't have fathomed that here I would be

20 years later playing this game that I watch.

So now I'm playing for any young girl at home

who knows that the sky is the limit.

And we have no idea where we're going,

but I see lots of mountains.

DOMENICK: Danny.

-DANNY: That's me, yeah. -Dom.

-On our way to... -The final!

BEN: I am worried

about my shoulder. I had it checked out

by a medic after the challenge,

and I have this huge bump.

But I know

the mind is more powerful than the body.

And I'm relying on my mind pushing through the pain.

-Final. -We're going to the final.

Who knows what's gonna happen, but let's go.

So...

DOMENICK: I had a little bit of nervous sleep all night.

I was shaking in my bed a little bit.

I didn't get as much rest as I would have liked.

But I'm fighting for my family,

I'm fighting for myself, fighting for friends,

the New York crowd, the Survivor crowd.

I'm trying to bring this trophy home for them.

-All right, everyone, welcome. -(whoops)

To beautiful Patagonia.

Before we get started, I have some very unfortunate news.

Ben, unfortunately, the doctor has said you are

medically unable to continue because of the injury.

It's better to not do this final and be okay

with the shoulder for, uh, life

and maybe someday you can return, man.

So this ends your time here on The Challenge, man. I am sorry.

You've played awesome. You're a great competitor.

I'm sure we'll see you in the future. Take care, man.

Good luck, guys.

-Don't give up. -Take care, man.

Take care, man.

BEN: Pretty bummed.

I want to do this.

I know I could do this.

(clicks tongue)

Just sucks.

SARAH: I really feel for Ben. He made it here.

He did everything to get to this point.

He's family to me, and now he's gone.

It's going to be brutal.

TJ: All right, everyone.

Welcome to your final challenge.

You know, when I first saw you,

I wasn't sure if you were gonna cut it. I mean,

I knew you played games, but could you play my game?

And here you are at the very end.

And remember, the champions of Challenge: USA

will be joined by the best players from around the globe

to compete in the first ever Challenge world championship

exclusively on Paramount+.

Now, you see that mountain up there?

That's Cerro López.

You are going to need to conquer that mountain

for your share of $500,000.

You've each already got a piece of that grand prize

in your bank accounts, but which

of you will divvy up the rest

of the half million?

We won't know until we see who finishes my game.

JUSTINE: If I were to win it,

it would mean so much.

My family has been through a lot,

especially my parents living through the Rwandan Genocide.

They've had a pretty crazy life.

So I would definitely use that money to help my parents kind of

live a better, much happier, more simple,

less stressful life 'cause they've had it hard.

TJ: Now, you all have money in your bank accounts already.

Well, the only way for you to keep that money

is by crossing the finish line.

You quit, and all your money goes

right back into the pot for everyone else.

ENZO: I've won no challenges,

but I've won three eliminations.

So it's like, all right, here we go now, Enzo makes the finals.

I want to go to the top of the mountain.

I want the whole experience, the whole thing, yo.

For this final, you're going to be competing in teams

over a series of checkpoints.

I brought back something that I know you've all missed.

The beautiful Algorithm.

This is going to give you your partners

for every checkpoint.

And you're going to get a new teammate

every single checkpoint.

You will never have the same teammate twice.

And you cannot leave your teammate behind.

They quit, you quit.

SARAH: If your partner quits, you are done, also.

That is like

nails on a chalkboard to me because

I'm this close to winning, and

it's 100% for my husband and my son.

So I'm like, no, like, I came this far,

and my-my final, my game

can end because somebody else quits.

TJ: With Ben being gone, there's more ladies.

So each lady is going to run one of the checkpoints alone.

What's up for grabs? Half a million bucks.

No joke.

Let's see who the first pairings are.

DESI: I think we're all a little fearful about performing alone.

If everybody else has a teammate and you're by yourself,

you're already going to be at a disadvantage.

So right out of the gate you got

Danny and Cayla.

I am so excited.

Just as much as your partner can be your downfall,

your partner could also be the one that keeps you going.

And I know Danny won't quit.

Domenick and Angela.

Tyson and Justine, Enzo and Desi.

Sarah, you are gonna be alone first.

Let's get started.

This first stage,

you are all gonna start 500 meters off the shoreline

on a barge.

Then, when I say go, you will all jump into this

freezing cold water and swim to the shoreline.

(laughing): Enzo.

Enzo, what's the matter? Enzo...

ENZO: I have a partner now, so now

I have that pressure from the partner, too.

So I'm definitely worried before you even get into the water.

TJ: When you get to the shoreline,

you're gonna have to solve a puzzle.

Now, it's important

that you do this fast because

every checkpoint is worth points.

First place, five points.

Second place, four points.

And so on. Now, at the end of this final,

whoever has the most points will become the champion

of The Challenge: USA.

All right. Good luck, everyone. Get it done.

DANNY: I know this is going to suck mentally

and physically, but accomplishing it

and finishing at the end,

I think that's when the great feeling is gonna come.

-So I'm ready for it. -We have heart.

-So we're not going to give up. -Absolutely not.

JUSTINE: I feel nervous, but I'm just so glad I have Tyson

for this water one 'cause this is, this is his element.

One of my elements.

(laughs): One of his many elements.

We're a good balanced swimming team.

-Yes, we are, yep. -We're good at puzzles.

-Well... -We get back here...

Well, all right. Some of us are good at puzzles.

I'll take anything but a slide puzzle.

Um, but if it is a slide puzzle, I have this guy

to, uh, carry the weight of the team.

I want to get the swimming over with.

That's what I want to do.

Neither of us are the strongest swimmers,

but I feel confident together we'll get it done.

Like... (groans)

there's a part of me that's panicking,

but at least I'm getting Enzo out the way.

First leg of the final.

Let's just finish and then keep it moving from there.

That's it.

TJ: All right!

Get ready!

-Go! -(air horn blows)

ANGELA: It is ice-cold,

I'm telling you.

It feels like my brain has an instant brain freeze.

I've never felt water this cold in my entire life.

ENZO: We're not training for the Olympics.

I'm a regular kid from the streets.

Me and the water don't mix.

I'm not good with it.

Use your arms, Enzo.

Leave me alone.

We're almost there...

-Where's one? Do you see one? -Right here.

I am not excited to see the slide puzzle.

I usually do it from top to bottom.

-So you may have to hold places... -Okay, tell me where to hold.

ANGELA: But Dom has full confidence

that he is the slide puzzle master,

so I'm letting him take the lead on this one.

Help me!

-Stop. -I can't breathe!

-Enzo, I need you. -Help!

Enzo, Enzo, can you look at me for a second?

WOMAN: Grab onto this here.

-Enzo, let me help you. -Get away!

Enzo! Enzo!

-Please! -Help!

Enzo, it's not too late! Please, Enzo!

Help!

-I can't breathe! -Stop and catch your breath, Enzo.

-Help! -Please, Enzo!

Just catch your breath, Enzo, please!

-Enzo, let me help you. -Get away!

Enzo, Enzo, please!

ENZO: I'm done.

Enzo!

-Enzo, please. -ENZO: I quit.

Enzo, it's not too late. Please, Enzo.

I quit because I see how far away the flags are

and I'm just like, there's no way I'm gonna make this.

That's it. I'm done. It's over. I don't care.

I quit. I quit.

I couldn't breathe.

I still can't breathe.

Desi, I'm forever sorry to you.

I don't know if I could say enough sorrys.

TYSON: More and more screwed up.

You always go one, two...

four, three.

DESI: Devastated almost seems like

too light of a word for what I'm feeling.

I'm so sorry, Desi. I am.

I felt like I could win this final.

And so for all of that to be crushed

by another person?

He's literally ruined my entire game.

And I don't know if there's anything

I could have done differently. I tried.

I don't know. I don't really have any, like,

good words right now.

(stammers) I don't know if I'm ever going

to be able to look Enzo in the face again.

(overlapping chatter)

DANNY: Got it! Check! Check! Check!

-(air horn blows) -TJ: Good job.

-(laughs) -Good job.

We are the first team to complete our puzzle.

We get the first five points of the final.

Shout out to me and Cayla for getting it done, baby.

If Kiki knew I was in the final, she would tell me

there ain't no second place.

She knows the motto-- win or die trying.

-There's two, the three... -Yeah, that's what I'm seeing.

-The three top are blank. -Yeah.

(whoops)

Right on number one right now.

-Check! -(air horn blows)

It's correct?

Team Sarah is straight up Team Sarah right now.

Making the final is not good enough.

I have to win this.

Uh, we did it.

(air horn blows)

TYSON: I'm a little defeated.

I wanted to just win every leg

and just breeze my way through this thing.

Yeah, it sucks.

TJ: Time!

(air horn blows)

Time's up!

One checkpoint down, one team out.

Let's see what the Algorithm has to say.

Danny, Angela.

Tyson, Sarah.

Tyson and my relationship has been rocky.

But let's just work together because

it's only going to benefit the both of us.

Domenick, Justine.

Cayla, looks like you're by yourself this time.

I would have been more scared if I didn't just have five points

and a win, so I at least have that little bit of comfort.

Your next checkpoint is that way.

And be prepared because this leg is going to consist

of two very different stages.

Go.

-TYSON: Good pace, Sarah? -SARAH: Yeah.

DANNY: Tyson's gonna try to set the pace too fast,

so everybody can tire out.

-JUSTINE: You good, Dom? -Yeah.

Fucking sweating already.

JUSTINE: What the hell?

(cow moos)

JUSTINE: Is this safe?

TYSON: Keep going, Sarah, you got this.

Oh.

"You must eat all of the food at your table

before continuing."

Oh, my God.

Is this vegan?

Being a vegan chef, I have worked with onions before,

and knowing that there is lemon juice in front of us,

my strategy here is to cut the onion and garlic up

into smaller pieces, pour the lemon juice on it,

and have the acidity

of the lemon break down the onion,

which will make it a little bit easier to tolerate.

This is like what I ate all season long, honestly.

DOMENICK: I see Angela slicing

her onion up like she's eating a gourmet meal.

You know, the vegan in her.

Just pick the damn thing up and eat it like an apple

like the rest of us. This has to be done, too?

No, just the food.

Oh, my God.

Ooh, that last bite was hot.

I don't have a strategy. Like, this is the most horrific

thing I've ever done in my life.

Onions detoxify the blood

and garlic is good for your immune system.

DOMENICK: This should be, like, easy for me.

These are, like, ingredients I'm into.

-TYSON: Yeah. You smell like onions a lot. -Thank you, buddy.

-(burps) -TYSON: I was going to do this cleanse

after I got home anyways.

It's good to get it out of the way.

(retching)

Oh, there she goes.

(retching)

I already feel it coming out my ass.

Everybody's just... (retching)

And it's just so gross to hear.

DOMENICK: There she goes!

(vomit splashing)

(Justine moans, coughs)

Making room. That was incredible.

I have the best vomit of anybody here.

Like, I literally emptied everything

that I just put in my body.

(groans)

-I finished. -(air horn blows)

First place, here we come.

(retching)

-(air horn blows) -Good job, Ange.

She just finished.

-Ready? -Yep.

Keep moving.

Yeah, I will.

DANNY: "Solve the equation that is written out

"on the series of barrels along the path.

You must provide the correct answer in order to continue."

Oh, guess we get wet.

There you go, Sarah. You're my hero.

You got this.

Lightly chop it up

in your mouth, get it down

your throat, then whatever happens happens.

-Ah. Good? Ah. -(air horn blows)

-Empty. -TYSON: Getting it all the way down.

-She's done. She got it. -Ah.

-(air horn blows) -Yeah. -JUSTINE: Come on, Cayla,

-you got it. -TYSON: Let's go.

We can do this on the trail.

Sarah. Badass, bro.

I had to eat maggot cheese on The Amazing Race.

I don't know if it's the onion, the garlic, or the lemon juice,

but my taste buds are completely on fire.

My whole mouth is burning and I'm honestly begging

for maggot cheese at this point.

-Three. -Red.

-Three. -Three.

Three is for me. That's how we're gonna remember it.

DANNY: Three is for you.

We get to the barrels, and each one of them has a number

on it, and the following barrel has an equation.

DANNY: Three times eight, 24.

ANGELA: Three time eight is 24.

-24 is... -Kobe Bryant, Kobe Bryant.

ANGELA: So each barrel we have to keep up with the number

as we add, subtract, multiply.

Kobe Bean Bryant.

All right.

Welcome to The Challenge.

-(farting) -Oh, geez.

(Justine groans)

JUSTINE: Every step of the way,

Dom is burping and farting.

(groans)

"Solve the equation that is written out

"in the series of-- math equation written out

on the series of barrels along the path."

The last thing you want to do is give up, but...

...my body is shutting down completely.

-DOMENICK: What was our number? -JUSTINE: Two...

-times nine, -Two times nine, 18.

JUSTINE: We're literally running,

trying to solve these math equations.

Dom is so good at math.

I'm just ahead of him

throwing him what the equations are,

throwing the numbers at him, and he's just

solving them behind me as we go.

Here's number two.

Four times three is 12. Let's keep going.

-They're right there in front of us. -Okay.

DOMENICK: We're ahead of Tyson and Sarah,

but out of nowhere they're

cutting in front of us and we're losing our lead.

121 plus 11 is 132.

Oh, no. Divided by 11.

-Times two. -322.

BOTH: 644.

That's six.

-BOTH: Check. -(air horn blows)

-Well, goddamn it. -Yeah, we did it.

ANGELA: Me and Danny get first, and I am ecstatic.

Things are turning around and I'm feeling good.

(exhales)

CAYLA: I am not a quitter,

and I know I can do it.

I got to keep going.

-Am I good? -TJ: Good.

-(air horn blows) -(Cayla exhales)

What's six times eight?

-48. -So it's 512?

-512. -Okay.

Let's go.

-Check. -(air horn blows)

Good.

(exhales)

JUSTINE: Come on, Dom.

(muttering)

BOTH: Check.

-(air horn blows) -Good?

DOMENICK: Danny, he hasn't really done anything

through the season that

showed me that he's gonna really bring his A game.

And it's starting to make me think that maybe

he's been saving all of this for the final.

Burn off that garlic! (whoops)

Way to go, Cayla!

So proud of you.

Check.

-(air horn blows) -Check?

Checkpoint. You're good.

Cayla getting it done.

TJ: Yes.

Welcome...

to your next checkpoint.

Let's get started with the Algorithm.

Domenick and Cayla, Angela and Tyson.

This is the best-case scenario.

We haven't been partnered together

since the very first challenge.

And I just know we are going to absolutely crush this leg.

Sarah and Danny, and, Justine, you're running this one alone.

Head that way. Go.

DANNY: "Memorize the series of numbers, collect the decoder wheel

"along the path. You will need it to crack the code.

"If you can't remember the numbers, you will need

-to come back." -Yellow's over here, Ange.

ANGELA: How are we gonna remember this?

-Do you want to get the first five? -Yeah.

SARAH: We have a series of numbers that we need

to memorize. Danny and I

I decide to split 'em up five and five.

So you got that? 92.

SARAH: I just want to get this done

on one trip because if you

screw up any of those numbers,

you've got to go all the way back down.

TYSON: I've done weeklong stage races

where you're racing bikes for five to six hours

every single day for the week.

I've trained with ultramarathon runners, done lots of long

backpacking trips, played Survivor four times.

So far, the stuff I'm seeing in the final is

stuff that I used to just do for fun.

-ANGELA: How are you doing? -TYSON: Good.

We can run if we want or we can walk.

Nobody's gonna move near as fast as us anyways.

Everyone else split the numbers and I'm by myself.

33, nine, nine, 97, three.

22, 69, 13, 99, four.

I can't afford to make any mistakes.

So I do not want to forget a single number.

Nine, nine, 97.

22, 69...

"Add up all the numbers,

"use that sum to determine how to place

the decoder wheel."

Three, one, two are my numbers.

ANGELA: The numbers that you remember

coordinate to a letter, and then you take that letter.

So, like, if the first number was five,

you put the wheel in, and "A" is next to five,

and you grab the "A" and put it up there.

Angela and Tyso still look like they have a lot of work to do.

They're not getting close to finishing it, but we don't

care because we are going balls to the wall

to try to get first place at this checkpoint.

SARAH: Ten, right?

-Concentrate. -Concentrate.

(air horn blows)

So we get five points, and that's good because now

I'm making a little ground on Danny.

-Check? -(air horn blows)

That's three seconds in a row.

Angela did gain another point, so hopefully I can

keep in front of her on the rest of these legs.

JUSTINE: Yes.

99, four.

33, nine, nine,

97, three.

I'm dying, I'm struggling.

But I just know I can't give up no matter what.

'Cause that is the whole point of this final,

is to fight through how uncomfortable you are.

Nine, nine, 97, three.

22, 69...

-Check. -(air horn blows)

-Thank you. -Yes! Good job.

DANNY: Good job, Justine.

JUSTINE: I'm the last one there, and TJ says

I've run out of time.

(sighs) I messed up bad.

-Doing that all by yourself? -To have to do that by yourself

-is insane. -Yeah.

(wind blowing)

TJ: All right, everyone,

so far, so good.

No quit.

Now, back to the Algorithm.

Here we are.

(cranking)

All right.

We got Danny and Justine,

Tyson and Cayla,

Domenick and Sarah.

And, Angela, you're running this one alone.

All right, everyone,

get it done. Go.

* *

DOMENICK: "Move all the dirt to the designated area.

One of you may rest while your partner works."

-Okay. -Let's go.

DOMENICK: Oh, I see. They're just assuming

this is an all-night thing. Okay.

This is what

I do. I'm in construction,

and I'm constantly shoveling, constantly wheelbarrowing.

This is my time to shine.

DANNY: I don't do landscaping.

I pay somebody to do it.

This is gonna be a miserable night.

ANGELA: Fuck this.

(squeaking)

This is going to be

my worst nightmare.

'Cause even though

I have less dirt than everyone else,

the fact that I have to do this by myself

is really, like, pulling the short end of the stick.

I kind of feel like this is just a waste of my energy.

It's like there's no point.

I think I'm just gonna destroy my back trying to finish this.

Enjoy.

I decide that the best strategy here is

to take last-- take the two points, get some sleep,

so that, tomorrow morning, I can wake up

and I can make it up on the mountain.

* *

-It doesn't make sense. It's just-- It's too much. -SARAH: Really?

JUSTINE: I'm definitely confused about Angela's strategy.

My girl said, "Nah,

"I need my beauty sleep.

I want to be fresh for tomorrow." (chuckles)

I wish I was conserving my energy, Sarah.

Yeah, that'd be real nice.

I go, "Are you quitting?" She goes, "Oh, I'm not quitting.

I'm just opting out."

CAYLA: I would have loved

to save my taste buds and my acid reflux that I now have

and just "taken the loss" on eating the onion and garlic.

She's like, "There's no way

that my back's not gonna be shot tomorrow."

You don't think my back's not gonna be shot tomorrow?

You're giving up.

You're not doing it.

This is the hardest thing I've ever done.

Ange, this is the game.

You know? This is what we signed up for.

You're here to challenge yourself

to get these things done.

I'm-- I don't even know what to say. I'm shocked.

I don't know how I'm gonna finish this thing.

* *

DOMENICK: We probably just need maybe...

probably, like, ten more barrows.

* *

DANNY: I can see that Tyson has a good pace,

and it's really getting depressing,

because his dirt pile is a little bit lower than mine

at the moment.

TYSON: I'm doing this for the money,

which will benefit my family.

I have two kids.

Spent six weeks out here. And the only way

it will be worth it to be away from my family for that long

is to get paid the maximum amount.

* *

SARAH: This should do it.

-Yeah, buddy, oh, yeah. -(air horn blows)

DOMENICK: Not only did we get it done, we crushed it.

First place, five points.

Finally. I finally got that win

and I feel like I'm definitely a contender out here now.

That was the worst... night of my life.

Dude, let's get out of the rain. Now.

DOMENICK: I have only a few people in my way, and here's an opportunity

for me to seal the deal,

show everyone back at home

that little old me got it done

and beat out some of these beasts out here.

-(groans) -SARAH: I'm so proud of you.

See? Now you can sleep.

Check.

(air horn blows)

(air horn blows)

Finished.

I have on wet socks, wet shoes,

and I cannot feel

my first three toes. It is scary.

This has been one of the worst nights

of my entire life.

* *

(wind blowing)

TJ: We got a final to finish! Let's go! Wake up!

-What's up, guys? -DOMENICK: Oh, bro.

-TJ: You ready? -No.

TJ: Come on, let's do this.

(laughing): Oh, God.

DANNY: They're getting dressed. (chuckles)

DOMENICK: Open up the door.

Oh, my God, it's terrible!

(laughing)

I'm 45 years old.

I've never smelled something like that in my life!

Oh, my God!

Get out here before you die.

Oh, wow.

Look at you. You're in the finals.

You're in the finals in the last day.

This is it.

First order of business--

Angela,

what happened?

Well, I started working and I realized

that I was most likely gonna come in last.

So my strategy was to just get some sleep

so that I would have enough energy to get to the top

of the mountain today.

Oh.

SARAH: Everybody else is tired.

Everybody's wet. Everybody's cold.

You choose the easy route and you get rest.

That was a bad strategy.

You can't just "opt out" of...

one of the legs.

* *

(thunder rumbling)

Angela, what happened?

Well, I started working and I realized

I was most likely gonna come in last.

So my strategy was to just get some sleep

so that I would have enough energy

to get to the top of the mountain today.

Well,

you didn't even try to complete the task,

so...

* *

...that's it.

-Okay. -That's it for you.

-Thank you. -Angela, you're an amazing player.

I really hope we see you in the future,

but this ends your time here for now.

Take care.

ANGELA: Walking away from this

is the hardest thing I've ever had to do,

because I do not quit.

And I just felt like I...

I did this intentionally.

And then I was punished

for a strategic move I was trying to make.

But, still,

I would not trade this experience for anything,

despite how it ended.

JUSTINE: I actually, genuinely love Angela, but the fact

that the work we just did was

so exhausting,

just didn't seem fair

if she was gonna be able to continue.

TJ: Now, I have to say

I am very impressed with the six of you.

And here you are, the last leg.

As you notice,

there's no Algorithm next to me.

Because, from here on out,

it is an individual race. It's gonna be ten

of the most treacherous miles you have seen yet,

all the way to the top of that mountain.

Of course, there'll be some checkpoints along the way,

but all you have to do

is get to the top first.

And, remember, as long as you finish,

the money you currently have in your bank account

is yours to keep.

And this leg is worth double points.

You cross that finish line first, ten points.

Second, eight points. Third, six points.

So everybody's still in this.

Whichever male and female

have the most points by the end of today

will be champions of The Challenge: USA.

But, more importantly, you'll be punching your ticket

to the first ever Challenge world championships.

So dig as deep as you have to

and do the damn thing, all right?

Let's go to the start line. Good luck.

DANNY; So it's an individual game now.

This is what I'm here for.

I'm here to push myself past my limits,

and it's all on me.

-All right. You ready? Go! -(air horn blows)

* *

SARAH: Good job, girls.

We got this.

Yeah.

TYSON: I'm not partnered with anybody.

I'm only one point behind Danny,

so all I have to do is finish in front of him,

because it's worth double points.

I'm feeling very confident.

I am going to crush these people's soul.

"You must correctly solve the puzzle

before you can continue."

(breathing heavily)

-What's up, Dom? -What's up, buddy?

It's a really fucking tough one.

DANNY: Okay, God, I see what you're doing.

We got to earn this.

My entire body is cramping.

So I'm getting through this

strictly off will and adrenaline.

But I can overcome any feeling of pain,

any feeling of quitting.

-Check? -(air horn blows)

(exhales)

I had it.

No.

DANNY: He was already gone when you got here?

DOMENICK: No, he left a minute ago.

CAYLA: I get to this first puzzle,

and it's honestly reminding me

of an app that I have in my phone.

I just have to be calm, cool and collected and put this together

as quickly as possible,

because the longer I stand here and try and figure it out,

the colder I'm getting.

DANNY: Check.

(air horn blows)

CAYLA: Good job, Danny.

DOMENICK: Wow. Go, Danny.

(sighs) Fuck, the only one.

Oh, I got-- I got-- I got it.

Check.

(air horn blows)

You got a shot, kiddo. You got a shot.

* *

JUSTINE: I have absolutely nothing left.

I always think about my parents.

My family has been through so much in their lives.

I have $29,000 in my account,

but none of this money, if I were to win it, is going to me.

This is all for my parents,

so I just keep reminding myself that.

JUSTINE: Check.

-CAYLA: She got it? -SARAH: Yeah.

Fuck me.

I am so frustrated to have lost this lead,

because this is

exactly what happened to me on Amazing Race.

I arrived first

and I came in second.

* *

TYSON: I'm actually enjoying it. It's, like, beautiful.

I'm like, "Oh, this is like

how I used to jog with my friends in Utah all the time."

I know that I am

way in front of everybody. Even if somebody

left the puzzle right after me,

there's no way they're moving even remotely

as quickly as I am.

* *

DANNY: I'm chasing Tyson,

but it feels like an impossible task to catch this man.

And I'm continuing to go up this mountain.

It just keeps going up. Another turn.

Up. Another turn.

And it is literally never-ending.

Then I start to see sleet.

It's getting colder. (chuckles) It's getting wetter.

TYSON: Then...

it starts to snow.

* *

(wind howling)

"You must arrange all of the provided numbers correctly

"to complete the pattern

before you can continue to the finish."

I'm so sick of doing puzzles at this point. Like, I'm gonna

go through my house when I get home and just throw

all the puzzles away. But as long

as I leave here first,

I should be able to win this thing.

JUSTINE: Put your hands up.

Holy shit. You scared the hell out of me.

JUSTINE: I left Sarah and Cayla behind me,

and now I've caught up to Dom.

Wait a minute. Not me actually...

kind of killing it in this final.

At least right now I know that I'm the first girl

and all I have to do is finish.

I love some sudoku.

TYSON: (chuckles) You like it?

DANNY: As I was preparing for my season of Survivor,

I was given a sudoku book, from easy to hard.

And all I did for 21 days

was solve sudoku puzzles.

I became pretty good at it,

never thinking that I would have to use it.

* *

Check.

(air horn blows)

(shuddering)

SARAH: I've made no progress on this puzzle,

I'm completely alone.

I'm in last place.

My body feels like it's gone into, like, starvation mode,

and I'm just trying to get the energy to continue

to where I can figure this puzzle out.

(shuddering)

* *

(Justine groans)

JUSTINE: Then I realize it's not the end.

I've never done sudoku a day in my life.

I could cry.

I just feel...

so defeated.

* *

DOMENICK: My legs and my feet are numb.

My toes,

I haven't felt them in two days.

The pain is setting in.

I am starting to really question

if I have it left in me.

TYSON: Tricky, huh?

...check.

(air horn blows)

DOMENICK: I have completely

exhausted everything in my body and brain.

I am trying

to will every ounce

to complete this puzzle

so I can still get the money that is in my account.

But I'm starting to lose it a little bit.

* *

What are you doing, Justine?

DOMENICK: This is crazy.

We've been soaking wet for two days.

We went from hot to cold, hot to cold, hot to cold.

Pissed in my pants.

This is not doable.

* *

(wind howling)

(wind howling)

DOMENICK: I can't even think about that puzzle right now.

My brain is seeing different colors.

-TYSON: I'm stopping with you. -You're stopping, too?

TYSON: Yeah, fuck this shit.

I did the whole puzzle wrong.

I got two fucking pieces left.

I got to redo the whole goddamn thing.

My hands are falling off.

I have two pieces

in my hand,

but they don't fit either

of the places that I need 'em to fit,

which means, like, I have to clear everything.

And I don't want to do it anymore.

-Neither do I. -TYSON: Dom's quitting

and Justine is quitting.

The Challenge is crazy. Like...

I've had enough.

-CAYLA: Are you done, Tyson? -Yeah.

DOMENICK: Danny got it, but the three of us are bailing.

JUSTINE: I would have loved to hold it down for my family,

but I can't do it.

My body just shut-shut down.

(groans)

And to come this far... (sniffles)

just to feel like it was all for nothing,

I just feel heartbroken.

CAYLA: I can do sudoku.

I'm actually very good at it.

Right now I'm way ahead,

and I know I can do it.

* *

SARAH: I'm seeing the grand prize slip away from me,

and this

has turned into now a half million-dollar race

to a $15,000 race.

That's a huge difference in money.

But...

I'm not gonna quit.

(groaning, shuddering)

* *

DANNY: I'm tired.

My calves are burning.

My quads are burning.

My hamstrings are cramping.

It is absolutely miserable.

But I have Zoe with me, Kiki with me.

They are with me.

(wind howling)

I don't want to quit, but I can't feel my fingers.

(crying)

I can't.

I've done a lot of hard things in life, but...

...having to give up...

...was the hardest one.

* *

(crying): I'm calling it. I can't do it. I'm freaking out.

(air horn blows)

(crying)

SARAH: I am last.

I'm behind everyone.

But at this point, I don't care how much the money is.

I just want to complete this.

* *

(wind howling)

(laughs)

We won this motherfucker.

(exhales)

This is what it looks like to win.

This view is absolutely stunning.

I feel absolutely amazing.

* *

(air horn blows)

SARAH: My son is seven years old,

and he's going to see his mom, at 37 years old,

push through.

And even when it looks like I'm going to lose,

I don't quit.

* *

(groans)

(sighs)

I'm literally alone.

I just got last place. Nobody's even outside.

That's how far behind I am.

And I'm defeated.

I'm devastated.

It was in my hands, and...

I just lost.

* *

SARAH: Congrats, Danny. Everybody finish?

DANNY: Just me and you right now.

SARAH: What? You're lying.

Congratulations, Danny and Sarah, getting it done.

You are the only two

to successfully scale this mountain.

Wait, what?

You are the champions

of The Challenge: USA.

-(laughing) -Great job.

-DANNY: Congrats, Sarah. -Oh, my gosh.

It's just music to the ears.

-Oh, my gosh, Danny. -Music to the ears.

For the first time in Challenge history,

everyone else quit,

-except for you two. -(chuckles) Not us.

-Not us. -Not us.

TJ: Which means

all of their money went right back into the pot,

and now you two are splitting a half a million dollars.

Congratulations.

-Yeah! (whoops) -Yeah.

-It's just us two. -It's us two.

Not only are you splitting the money,

but you just punched your tickets to the first ever

Challenge world championship,

exclusively on Paramount+.

And now you can officially call yourselves

Challenge champions.

-Congratulations. -Champs?

-We gonna go whup some ass. -Yeah.

SARAH: I'm the first champ

of The Challenge: USA, and it feels

so damn good.

Throw anything at me,

'cause I can take it.

And I'm ready to go again.

-(FaceTime rings) -Hey, babe.

Guess what.

I won The Challenge.

(squealing)

(chuckles) Aw, Zoe, what you laughing at?

I know, huh? It's exciting, huh?

(laughing)

-KIKI: Zoe, Daddy won! -(giggling)

DANNY: I can call myself

a Challenge champ, and nobody can take that away from me.

And that means so much to me.
