KYLAND: Az, you're pulling me back.
-AZAH: I'm pulling it, but... -Then there's no--
I didn't realize you were getting caught.
-Just let me know. -AZAH: Okay.
Me and Kyland have a bit of an interesting history.
We were both in the same Big Brotheralliance,
but we kind of couldn't really stand each other in the house.
-Switch with me? -Okay.
-Oh, wait, we can't. -I can't switch.
No worries, you're good.
But we're partners.
This isn't just me. This is Kyland.
Kyland's been training for this for months.
I have to dig super deep in order to get this win.
KYLAND: Stand up-- Use your legs. There we go.
Keep moving, keep moving!
Rope through there. I'll follow you.
-[grunts] -Oh.
CASHAY: Yes, yes,
yes, yes.
Keep going, Cel.
CELY: Pull it tight.
-Under, under, Javonny. -JAVONNY: This way, this way.
CASHAY: Yes! Get low, get low.
You can hop over and start pulling it into here.
TIFFANY: He should be doing this
and she should be doing that.
Kyland and I have a very special bond.
He gets me, I get him.
I don't think anyone has my back in here
like he would, so I need him here.
-I'm stuck. -Okay, thank you.
[grunts]
CELY: Come on, Javonny.
Power through.
Let's go.
Come on, this is what we've been training for.
All this, let's just start knotting it.
Come on. Go, go, go, just to start doing this.
[cheering, applause]
KYLAND: Keep going, Azah. You're doing great.
Azah, wait, don't fall.
Azah, ready? Azah.
Push, push.
CELY: All this extra, let's just knot it.
-Go under that, go under that. -Push through.
Now go this way.
DEREK: They might need to cut that rope. Shit.
-[chuckles]: I know, right? -Like, get a chain saw.
[whooping]
-CELY: Come on, Javonny. -ALYSSA: Work together, work together.
CELY: It's anybody's game, let's go under this. Let's go.
KYLAND: I'm giving them another hard-ass knot.
You got to keep moving.
-[cheering] -Five!
Put it over your head. Put this over your head.
TJ: Four! Three! Two!
-Time! -[air horn blows]
-[cheering, applause] -Good job, everyone!
Good job, everyone!
All right, let's switch them up.
SHAN: Azah,
you got this, Azah, you've got this.
AZAH: My eyelashes
are completely gone at this point,
but I really, honestly, don't even care.
I didn't come in this challenge to look pretty.
Right now, I need to win.
All right, you ready?
SHANNON: Come on, Javonny!
This is what you came for. Come on!
[cheering, applause]
-Go! -[air horn blows]
SHANNON: You got it, come on!
Let's go Celybird!
[Javonny grunts]
SHANNON: Here we go.
Yes!
SHAN: Come on, Azah!
Come on, Azah, go under and in and pull!
I can't step inside.
CELY: With all this over that way, either way,
we could still get all the rope over the inside.
-Looking good. -CASHAY: Cely is, like,
barking orders, she's killing it.
Like, she's fighting for her life.
Big Brotherwants to rule this whole thing and have,
like, a bunch of Big Brother people in the final, so...
it's important to knock their numbers down.
-Want to go under there, Azah? Go under. -I'm stuck.
-TJ: Both teams struggling. -Oh, my God.
-Get over. Let's go, let's go, let's go. -All right, hold on.
-Pull this over, let's go. -TJ: It's anybody's game.
[shouts]
Azah, I need you to pull again. It's too heavy for me.
Pull that, pull that.
KYLAND: Azah, pull.
-Go. Pull. -[both grunting]
KYLAND: Please, pull. Azah.
-[cheering, applause] -TJ: Both teams struggling.
CELY: Come on, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop.
Come on. Pull that, pull that.
-Pull all that. -[grunts]
Cely got the fire,
she got the heart,
I'm in it to win it.
Keep pulling that rope!
Yeah, Cely.
-[grunting] -Come on!
-It's anyone's game. -KYLAND: Keep going, Azah.
-You're doing great. -SHAN: Come on, Azah, go under and in and pull.
Good job, Azah.
-[grunts] -TJ: Ooh-ooh!
Kyland working overtime.
JUSTINE: I'm super frustrated
with Tyson and Angela.
It is hard to watch.
I can't even get myself to, like, yell anything,
cheer her on, I'm just literally there frozen, like, praying.
I'm literally, like,
talking to God like, "Please, help my good sis."
ALYSSA: You got it. Come on!
Let's go, Az, this is it!
See? Wait, wait, I can untangle this piece now.
-[cheering, applause] -TYSON: Find the loops
-and get under them. There you go. -ANGELA: Nice.
CELY: If we can get ev-- all of it into the middle.
CASHAY: Cely, you guys are still in it. Keep going!
-Okay, wait, wait. One, two, three. -Okay.
Javonny, if we literally just... Let's go, let's go.
Go to the circle and start pulling that rope.
KYLAND: Okay, Azah, let's just jump.
-Come with me. -[cheering, applause]
They need to start pulling, pulling that rope.
-KYLAND: Don't stop. -AZAH: I'm not stopping.
Keep going, Azah.
SHANNON: You got it.
Come on! Pull!
-Check. -[air horn blows]
Wow.
[cheering, applause]
[panting]
Damn.
Sucks to lose and it sucks to suck.
It sucks. A lot.
-Good job, good job. -And I told you... Sorry, I'm drooling on you.
It's okay.
-[whooping] -Yes! Yes!
KYLAND: First winners of first elimination, 1-0 record.
Let's go!
AZAH: Hey, Mama, hey, Mama!
-I won my first challenge! -Hey!
-Great game, everyone. -[cheering, applause]
Good job, guys.
Unfortunately, Javonny, Cely,
you lost tonight's elimination round,
so this ends your time here on The Challenge.
Take care of yourselves.
-Thank you. I love you guys! -Bye, guys.
Even though I'm the first one out,
like, I think I definitely surprised myself
and proved that, like, I'm a fighter.
I definitely would want to come back
and be a little bit more strategic next time.
[cheering, applause]
JAVONNY: It sucks, man.
We fought hard, we give everything we got,
and... I'm still cracking jokes.
Still being who I am.
It don't change nobody, baby.
KYLAND: You guys are awesome.
[wolf whistling]
Obviously don't want to see my best friend go home.
Um, that's my number one in here.
The only person I really trust,
and playing this game without her like this
is gonna be really, really hard.
Tyson and Angela,
I'm feeling a little vengeful.
Azah, Kyland, kept quiet until it counted.
Congratulations to both of you.
Incredible job. Go ahead and rejoin the group.
You are still in the game and you know what?
You each have an extra thousand dollars
that you took from your opponents.
Congratulations.
[cheering, applause]
Great job.
Now... I have one more thing to show you.
[contestants murmuring]
TIFFANY: I don't know what TJ has up his sleeve,
and TJ thinks that everything's funny,
and nothing that TJ thinks is funny is funny to me.
[laughs]
KYLAND: Oh, TJ,
what you doing to us?
I'm not sure to be excited or scared.
DANNY: My heart drops.
I really don't like twists, so I'm super nervous.
DEREK: About to open this door?
The anticipation.
-What? No. -[all oohing] -What the fuck?
-TASHA: Is it gonna do it at random? -BEN: Yeah.
TASHA: It's gonna do it at random?
The Algorithm is a program
to randomly select your new teammates...
...every elimination...
...so that you never have the same teammate twice,
till it's not possible anymore,
and then you will never have the same teammate
twice in a row.
Holy crap.
-It's been fun. -It was a good run.
It sucks that I have to leave Angela.
We were looking forward to continuing
the partnership and just steamrolling our way
to the end, which, now it's all by chance.
XAVIER: Aw, damn. Aw, damn.
Now you can't just use your numbers
to steamroll the competition.
Now, you have to try to navigate
a twist that could essentially put
anybody in jeopardy
on any given challenge, in any given week.
Yeah, this-this game just got a lot harder.
The Algorithm is cute and all, but I love to be in control
of my own fate, and who knows what that thing
has in store for us?
