This way please.

He is the King of Jibral.

Be sure to be polite.

Your Majesty, these are the travelers

who solved the problem that occurred in the town.

He is the King.

KNIGHT MASTER

I've heard about your accomplishments.

And I would like to thank you for getting rid of the problem.

You've brought a sense of safety to our citizens.

On behalf of my people, I express my gratitude.

I shall give you a reward.

You shall ask for whatever you want.

Well then...

Thank you very much, Your Majesty.

My request is the Book of the Beginning in your Royal Library.

The Book of the Beginning... The world's oldest book?

Is that Zola's purpose?

But...

why does she want to read it?

The Book of the Beginning... Conrad, see to it.

Yes, I will get it ready.

Anything else?

I'm hungry, maro.

Oh, can I look around the castle?

If it's possible, I want to take a bath.

You kids sure have a lot of energy!

Your Majesty, leave the rest to me.

If there's anything else you want, don't hesitate to ask Conrad.

He will be able to grant most of your wishes.

- Hurray! - Hurray!

Excuse me, your Majesty.

What are your thoughts on Grankingdom's recent activities

and all of their attacks lately?

Most likely, the ghost incident's suspect belongs to the Grankingdom.

We are not just simply observing.

We will not let them have their way.

Despite that, don't you think this kingdom is a little too relaxed?

What they're doing is obviously a military act.

If you don't consider it seriously, you are going to pay the price.

Stop it, Zola!

You're going too far!

The allied powers have loudly protested Grankingdom's actions.

The time for diplomacy and empty gestures is long gone.

Nene has made it clear from the beginning

that he has little use for negotiation.

W-What in the world?!

The situation will most likely change drastically soon.

That's all I can say for now. You'll have to forgive me.

Conrad, please see to our guests.

Sire.

Legalas, you stay here.

We would like to listen to your report.

Yes!

I will lead the way. This way please.

The other kingdoms' leaders all signed this petition.

It proves their strong determination.

Oh...

Well then...

Your Majesty's aspiration has been communicated.

The alliance with the other kingdoms has been formed.

Huh?

What?

They're standing at attention... to honor us?

Don't worry, no one is saluting you.

Then, who are they saluting?

Have you not noticed?

What are you talking about?

Geez, you talked about him so many times.

You sure are a country bumpkin.

Just get to the point already.

I want to know too. Tell me, Jiro.

That's the guy being saluted.

What?

That guy?

Are you talking about Conrad?

Conrad L. Lorentz.

He is Jibral Kingdom's number one Knight Master.

I thought the entire kingdom knew about him,

but I guess his fame hasn't reached your village.

A Knight Master?! Like, a Knight Master Knight Master?!

Is there any other kind?

He is the admirable Knight Master?

This is the daily report from the Seventh Division Fleet.

We are advancing from point 203 to 206.

Three Scout Squads have deployed reconnaissance.

The enemy still hasn't moved from their position.

How's the situation?

Things are going fine. The plan will start as scheduled.

I see...

I'm leaving it up to you, Dragnov.

What a nice breeze!

Lieutenant Dragnov, please stop.

Please come back!

If something happens to you, the plan will fail!

Idiot! Stop whining for something like this.

Do I look like a sheltered little girl?

B-But...

I'm thrilled. So I'm feeling the breeze to contain myself.

Now send these orders to each ship in the fleet!

Prepare for battle!

R-Roger!

Jibral Kingdom has been undefeated for two hundred years.

Today, I'm going to put an end to it!

- Wow! - Wow!

- Let's eat! - Let's eat!

What's wrong, Shu?

This is bad.

He probably can't hear anything right now.

Maro...

He is still willing to eat.

Knight Master...

Please accept my apology.

It seems like the request to the Royal Library will take a little longer.

Since it is the world's oldest book, it is under tight security.

Please, don't worry.

I am grateful to be given the opportunity to take a look at it.

Thank you.

Stop being so stubborn!

Tell us who you are and who you work for.

You are a Grankingdom soldier, right?!

I don't know what you're talking about.

What you did is a serious crime.

If you don't cooperate with us, then you will need to pay the price.

Yeah, well...

Take the plea deal.

If you do so, at least your life will be saved.

Well, fine. There's plenty of time.

We'll take it slow.

Well...

We'll see about that...

"Mr. Conrad, why did you want to become a Knight Master?"

Can you ask him that?

You are pretty shy, aren't you?

It's not like that.

My father was also a Knight.

So I set my sights on being a Knight Master from a very early age.

Oh, uh, umm...

Shu, right?

As the King said, if there is anything you want, you just ask me.

Yes, um...

Do you want to become a Knight Master yourself?

- Maro. - Huh?

No, I...

I...

Listen, Shu.

Whatever you strive for in life, one thing remains the same.

The important thing is

the heart to love others.

Heart?

I love the King and the people.

The bigger the heart, the more power you will gain.

That power can at times make miracles happen.

Make miracles happen?

That's right. You should remember that.

Yes!

This is it. I finally made it.

Jibral Castle... Everyone is here.

The main battery is fully loaded and ready to fire.

Adjusting target coordinates.

Trajectory calculations have been revised.

Safety disengaged.

Lieutenant Dragnov!

Fire!

Wait up, Shu... I am not going to let you go!

Huh?!

What?!

That emblem!

It's Grankingdom!

Let's go, everyone!

- Right! - Right!

Wait!

Leave this up to us.

But...

This is our fatherland.

As Knights, it's our duty. Besides, you're our guests here.

We can't allow you to put yourselves in danger.

That's right, you are this kingdom's distinguished people,

so you should stay here.

No wonder you're a Knight Master.

Everything he says is cool!

Are you ignoring me?

I understand.

As long as this place is safe, we will not lend a hand.

So let's see what you can do.

I will definitely protect you.

Mr. Conrad!

Please do your best!

Yeah!

W-What's going on?!

It seems like it's begun.

Well then...

Please report the situation.

Thirteen enemy ships, sir.

They're all firing with no signs of stopping.

All gun ports, intercept individually. Aim at the starboard.

Get Cyclops ready to attack.

However,

have them on standby at designated positions until orders are given.

- Roger. - Roger.

We need to be patient here.

I'm certain that they're going to send men ashore.

When they do, we'll attack them at once!

- Roger! - Roger!

Don't panic!

The Jibral Castle has not been defeated in the past 200 years.

The castle's walls are made of legendary Hexa-steel!

As expected, they're standing firm against an ordinary attack.

They aren't attempting to evacuate.

And they aren't trying to intercept us at sea in a hurry.

They have a wise commander.

Lieutenant!

What is it?

Is there any way we can have you come inside to the bridge?

Don't make me repeat myself!

I will not get hit! Ever!

Please take it easy.

We've found the command ship.

It's at the center of the frontline.

We believe that these are Dragnov's forces from the Seventh Division Fleet.

The Lucky Dragnov...

He's a difficult opponent.

Concentrate your attacks on the command ship!

Station the Cyclops along the castle wall!

We'll put an end to this at once!

What are they?

Soldier Beasts.

Soldier Beasts?

So that's Jibral's secret weapon, huh?

The third ship's been destroyed!

Don't push them. Have them retreat.

I don't need ones with bad luck on my battlefield.

Well then, shall we use our secret weapon?!

W-Wow...

Mr. Conrad is directing all this, right?

It looks like he's driving the attackers away!

Aren't you forgetting something?

Huh?

If this is an ordinary battle, then this is fine.

But the opponent is Grankingdom.

Send in the Black Shadow Type Ones!

Let's take them down!

Be sure you get the data!

That's...

Shadows?!

But...there's something different about them.

They're using Shadow troops?!

How dare you, Grankingdom!

What an offense.

Would they be okay?

Mr. Conrad...

This must be the result of Nene's research.

No way! The Hexa-steel!

The castle wall has been destroyed!

The Jibral's wall that was undefeated for 200 years...

I am gonna win this battle!

Launch the landing craft! Finish them off at once!

The enemy is climbing the castle wall!

Several reports of damage. At this pace...

We'll fight hand-to-hand! We're going to fight too!

Time to reveal the full power of the Royal Knights!

Is this it?

Jibral is going to get destroyed!

Charge!

Stand firm, no matter what! Stop them here!

What?!

You are...

I'm sorry, but we are going to fight too.

Let's go everyone!

Maro!

Don't tell me what to do!

These are your Shadows...

Knight Master! Please leave this up to us!

What is this?!

Impossible! Automatons controlling the Shadows?!

Worry about all that later.

Do your best right now to beat these guys!

I know! You don't have to tell me, maro.

You shall receive my Iron Justice!

Waves of Rage!

Our Black Shadow Type Ones are disappearing one after the other!

The rate of the invasion unit that landed is twelve percent.

We haven't breached the inside yet!

What's going on?

We are using all of our best troops.

Reporting from the frontline!

The enemy has Shadow Wielders!

Shadow Wielders?!

A total of four,

and most of the damage was caused by these four!

I see... So they had a secret weapon too, huh?

Have we collected enough data?

Yes, sir.

I guess those prototypes weren't ready to go up against a real Shadow...

That's too bad!

All forces, withdraw!

Leave the front immediately!

Right there!

Ready to give up, Grankingdom?!

You were just shaking until a second ago.

Evacuation order, all troops withdraw!

Not too bad of a result.

Is this it?

Oh yeah, I got it.

You promised. Now, make me—

N-No way...

Bouquet who tries to win Shu's heart

becomes the magical girl Fluffy Bouquet and casts a spell of love.

Now Shu is going to be all mine. Shu, hurry and jump into me!

Miss Fluffy Bouquet, you're cute.

Wait, this is not the Shu I know!

Next on Blue Dragon: "Operation Marriage Proposal."
