4-7, do you see it?

7-4, ready.

Clear.

7-4, the pack in position.

Radio silence. I repeat: silence.

Water...

Easy... Wait!

- She can't go on! - Quiet! There's no time, hurry up.

Hold it!

Please, she's pregnant, It's too much for her.

- Give us a few minutes! - You can stay with her if you want.

There's no time.

It's going to be OK.

Easy now.

Halt! Freeze, everyone!

Empty your pockets!

Bags on the ground, step back.

Down! Ewa, hold him!

Border Guard, good morning.

Welcome to Poland.

Let's take a day off.

Don't forget the cake.

I'll see you there.

- I'm Kinga Grzywaczewska's husband. - Calm down. - Am I on time?

- Sure. - Where? - Labour Room 4.

- Meaning? - There.

They won't let you in. It's a C-section.

So what do I do?

Hello.

Hi.

Dad, go easy on you liver, OK?

- Thanks. I'll take care of him. - Yeah, right.

He'll be back before midnight.

They switched her at the hospital.

Hanna's temper, your neighbour's eyes...

- She's your daughter alright. - OK, have fun, nutcakes.

Bye, honey.

I'm going to miss this.

You're behind this!

- You'll be missed, old man. - None for me.

It's good booze, my dad made it.

Eva!

- Siwy, make a wish! - To Siwy!

May he rest and pass the torch to the younger, faster and stronger.

I don't see them here.

- Everything OK? - A 10 in the Apgar scale. Perfect.

- Perfect. - Go on in.

The old man got all teary eyed.

You bet I did.

You'd die without me in this wilderness.

With you I'll die anyway, only later.

Hush...

Quiet. Not here.

Here.

In the car in five.

BOOM!

Wiktor...

Grzywa, is that you?

It's me.

It was close. But you'll be OK.

Where are the others?

And Ewa?

He woke up.

Are they biting?

You're not easy to find.

For 3 years Interpol has been trying to track

the source of those guns and explosives.

A month ago several people died in an attack at a mall in Hamburg.

You must've heard about

the bombing of the BG in Bieszczady?

- We lost good men. - The Hamburg and Bieszczady bombs

came from the same source. We think the same people did it.

Or it's just a coincidence.

It's not what you've got in Szczecin. It's the wildest EU border.

The main smuggling route of people, drugs, guns, you name it.

Someone has to deal with it.

I'm on vacation.

You can appeal to the Minister.

In order to save time I brought his Vice-Minister.

-1 need two weeks. - You've got two days.

Iga Dobosz, the DA's office.

You won't be going anywhere for a while.

Have you got any leads?

Sure.

You're our lead, Mr Rebrow.

The sole survivor.

Seconds before the explosion you received a text.

"Boom".

It seems that you've been warned.

Attorney...

that's enough, please leave.

If you're mixed up in this, I'll get you.

Now I've finished.

What are you doing? Lie down!

- They say you ran from the hospital. - And you from Warsaw.

- Why did you come here? -1 asked for a transfer.

- There's a new team. - Good for them.

We ought to make a new Pack.

You're like a rock star to those new guys.

Will you come back?

No.

They've sent us a new commander.

- They sent you a new commander. - From the western border. Szcecin.

He's bringing in people from all over the country.

Do you want a drink?

What do you need?

Peace.

Those motherfuckers are out there.

Kalita, Kosowski. You know their operation, you almost had them.

Almost.

A lot has changed since then.

So you're just going drink and fart your life away?

People die getting smuggled in, and those pricks are getting rich.

I'm off to base.

Grzywa...

I won't help you quit.

48... 49...

and 50.

- Pay up. - Wójcik.

You too.

Dreams do come true. Meet Wiktor Rebrow.

Piotr Wójcik,

ex-3rd Mechanized Brigade,

- Chemistry Technical School... - Good for you.

Great. You need to get laid more often.

Was that the guy...?

Hello.

- I'm sorry about... - It's just one thing.

There is an investigation.

I came to return my stuff.

It's for the best.

The DA thinks so too.

My picture should be hanging there too.

Commander,

Ukrainian BG tipped us

that illegals have crossed the border,

- here. - We've got work to do.

Get Grzywaczewski here.

If it's true, they won't be using that trail.

They fucked up, so they're playing you now.

They'll go here, by the Chomnicki retorts.

Near the river.

The Ukrainian tip is a dead end. The route is clear.

Hold on.

- Which way could they go? -Across the pastures or the retorts.

Can you check the pastures and the retorts?

They're too far apart.

Go for the retorts.

OK.

I thinkg we've got something.

Come on, Osama.

- And the rest of the illegals? - Probably headed for the pass.

- What about her? - They shot her.

She slowed them down.

They're some two hours ahead of us.

Commander, everyone is set.

Let's go.

- Good morning. - The DA. Welcome.

- Anything new on the fuse? - Nil.

And the "Boom"?

The text was sent from a Ukrainian Kiev-Star pre-paid.

I've got their reply.

"The number has been blocked. It is impossible to trace it."

- "Impossible". - Whoever sent the text

- made sure it was untraceable. - Is it doable?

Sure. Unless the Ukrainians blew us off.

Thanks.

Do you know Wiktor Rebrow?

As a suspect he's not to be informed about the investigation.

Clear?

We'll talk later, OK?

Mr Kosowski...

How's life?

- You hunt with the Ukrainians now? - Nah...

I'm just a hand at Kalita's sawmill.

Osama!

Rambo, are you OK?

God...

Natalia, go with her.

This is Markowski.

Get everyone you can to the Stuposiany road.

- 00 to 26. - Ustrzyki base, go on.

The suspects probably drove off towards Stuposiany.

Block the Ustrzyki crossroad,

- and inform the police units. - Copy that.

They got into a car and drove off. We won't get them.

It's alright now.

Are you from Chechnya?

What happened to you?

Don't you remember who saved your ass back then?

If it wasn't for me, punk, you'd still be in jail!

You're not worth a beating.

Kosowski...

You.

The Polish-Ukrainian border is still troubled.

Recently officers of the Border Guard have been killed in a bombing.

Now a dead woman and a little girl were found in the Bieszczady.

The woman was probably an illegal immigrant,

maybe a victim of human trafficking. The case is under investigation.

According to the doctors the girl is in stable condition.

Hi, you've reached Ewa and Wiktor, leave a message after the beep.

Markowski here.

Rebrow, give me a call. We need to talk.

17 zlotys.

- Natalia? - Thanks.

The DA took the girl from the hospital.

-1 couldn't stop them. - Took her where?

To the morgue, to identify the dead woman.

What?

How could you? After all she's been through.

Everything OK?

Let's get this over with.

You don't have kids, do you?

I'm obliged to identify the body ASAP.

I don't need to tell you how much this means to the investigation.

- And you don't have kids either. - Excuse me?

Sympathy won't help you do your job.

This child can't even tell her name.

- This child made this trip... - Not so loud!

Where is she?

Where is she?

Do you know who that is?

Tell us.

Mom.

Please keep an eye on her, OK?

- Of course. We'll take care of her. - Thank you.

I'll be back for you.

OK?

- Border Guard, Ustrzyki. - Get me the Commander.
