Novoland: The Castle in the Sky

- Episode 3 -

It's open.

Brother Tingjun!

Ling'er, are you okay?

Miss Yi.

This place is dangerous! Hurry up and get out of here!

Hurry!

Everyone first return to Stars Court! Quick!

Tingjun, hurry up!

I can't. This creature is going to quickly catch up to everyone.

Ling'er, you go first. I'll go delay it!

Brother Tingjun, you can't fight him!

Brother Tingjun!

Brother Tingjun! Brother Tingjun!

Brother Tingjun!

Master, it looks like our Thunderbolt Arrows have no effect on it!

- What do we do?- Don't fret. Be a bit more careful!

I have a plan. Look, when the creature is sucking up stones,

its chest will open. When that time comes, we'll release our arrows.

When the Thunderbolt Arrows are fired into its chest,

they will hit the creature's core!

This brat is really smart! Let's try that!

The time has come. Go!

Go!

It's okay now, Ling'er.

You two brats!

I left Stars Court to you, look what you've done!

It's a mess and utter pandemonium!

I'm already this old, but I still have to beat and kill every day for you. I don't have any leisure time!

Come over here!

I'm going to get the wine.

Master!

You two clean this mess up!

Yi Fuling, you purposely led the creature out

and caused an uproar in Stars Court.

This crime can not be forgiven!

I also didn't want this. It was that thing that kept chasing me.

Audacious!

Master, Yi Fuling went into Floating Jade Mountain Ridge so that she could receive training to become a disciple.

Leading out the Flame Core Machine Armor was an accident.

I hope Master won't wrongly accuse her.

You're right. Our Stars Court looks fine to me.

Senior Brother, then did this Yi Fuling pass the training?

I think it's best to exempt it. She hasn't even become a disciple,

but she's already caused chaos in Stars Court.

If she really were to become a disciple, I fear that she'll harm us three until we've become a bag of bones.

Master!

My Lord.

The Flame Core Machine Armor was incredibly powerful.

It needed the three masters working together in order to defeat it.

She's just a weak girl,

yet Master wants to put all the blame on her. That makes no sense!

You!

Master! The Seven Star Offering Flogging Punishment is too brutal,

normal people can't handle it.

If she continues to get lashed by the whip, she'll definitely be killed!

If this was to get out, wouldn't the people criticize us,

saying that we, the Stars Court, because of a small matter,

had no regard for human life! Master!

Bai Tingjun has made some solid points. Am I right?

- Yes!- Yes!

You also have a time when you speak up for him?

Senior Brother, that contraption escaping Floating Jade Mountain Ridge,

most likely it's related to something it's guarding.

Among them there's still a lot of things we need to investigate.

How about we first let this girl go?

Based on the virtues of the heavens,

I use my status as the Master of Stars Court,

today, take in Yi Fuling as my disciple.

From now on, honor the laws of the court and stay alert.

This...

Ling'er, hurry up and...

Thank you, Master!

Master, then the Seven Star Offering Flogging Punishment...

Since you are already one of Stars Court's disciples,

then this punishment is obviously excused.

Thank you very much, Master! Brother Tingjun...

- Brother Tingjun! - Leader!

- Bai Tingjun!- Brother Tingjun!

Hurry, hurry.

Oh, it's broken.

No wonder it was being abnormal!

Could it have been Yi Fuling?

No way. Having her make it angry

and then running away is already difficult. How could she have the time to destroy this heavenly object?

Even if it wasn't her, it could have been one of the other kids!

This group of stupid kids.

They really don't show any respect to us at all!

Someone must have used Yi Fuling's

leading the creature out, as a choice

opportunity, while the creature was not here,

to steal the Flower Deity Amulet.

Actually, why do that?

The Flower Deity Amulet will be taken out when the God of Shooting Stars

reaches 18 years of age and he will naturally awaken.

That's right!

The boundary of Floating Jade Mountain Ridge is controlled by the Stars Wheel.

It's closely interlinked and very complicated.

Could it be that Ji Shu has returned?

Can't be! Can't be! Can't be!

Ji Shu is definitely not the one who would steal the Star Flower Deity Amulet.

He's also not the one who would prematurely wake up the God of Shooting Stars.

In that case, throughout the world, who else is able to decode the Stars Wheel?

I remember there is a child from the Wingkind,

who is obsessed with gadgets, and has a talent for it. His name is Yu...

Yu...

Yu Huanzheng!

Right. Yu Huanzheng.

Yu Huanzhe--

What is this?

Looks like Yu Huanzheng is not the only one.

Brother Tingjun, you must wake up quickly.

I know you are in this state all because of me.

Miss Yi, you have been on guard here for a day and a night.

Go home and take a rest.

Who are you?

I am young master's maid, Bi Anhua.

Bi Anhua?

That's a really nice name.

The Bi Anhua blooms in the land of the underworld, it's flower and leaf will never meet.

Unlucky name. Unlucky person.

You, if you don't like it,

wait till brother Tingjun is awake and he can bestow a new name upon you.

I dare not. Miss Yi, let me take care of young master.

That's not necessary.

What I mean is that

it's fine since I'm here. I can take care of Brother Tingjun.

I will definitely wait for him to wake up.

Give it to me.

Alright. I understand.

Brother Tingjun, you can understand my feelings, right?

What are you doing?

"Flowers fall with interest. Water flows without feelings." (idiom about 'one-sided crush')

I'm burying the flowers.

But, even though the flowers have fallen,

they will bloom again next Spring.

Why are you so sad?

Even if they will bloom again next spring,

there will still be people who will not appreciate the flowers.

Only fall and wither like me (lit. for homeless and drifting)

who is able to mutually comfort each other.

Are you also interested in Brother Tingjun?

Young master's heart only has you in it.

Is that so? But...

although the two of us

indeed have grown up together since childhood,

he takes good care of me, too.

But I feel that, sometimes, he avoids me intentionally.

Perhaps he already has someone else in his heart?

Or perhaps he has some other sorrow?

If you are really entangled, there's a method from my hometown,

which can let you find out if he has any interest in you.

What is the method?

Close your eyes and meditate on his name in your heart.

Let the wind blow this petal away. If it can land on the highest treetop,

then the God of Wind will naturally convey your feelings to him.

He will definitely come immediately to make a confession to you.

Really? I will give it a try.

It flew up already! Brother Tingjun does like me!

I'm sorry.

It's fine.

Master!

Yu Huanzheng, tell me honestly,

decoding the Stars Wheel,

destroying the boundary of Floating Jade Mountain Ridge, was that you?!

Master.

Kneel!

It will be good if you would tell me the truth.

Master above, this disciple...

this disciple was only worried about Miss Yi's safety.

I r-really did not mean to create a huge disaster such as this.

Your ability is not small!

I want to ask you.

How did you decode the Stars Wheel?

This disciple understood it only after having pondered over it for a long time.

All I did was create a small item.

Make several gearwheels interlock first,

- then I let them-- - Shut up!

When you talk about things like this, you really can spin...

endlessly.

I'll ask you again. After you destroyed the boundary, what else did you do?

I didn't do anything else.

It really wasn't you?

Clearly, there was someone who saw you

enter Floating Jade Mountain Ridge, after you destroyed the boundary

without permission.

After that, the creature was creating havoc in the Stars Court.

All my disciples were there.

Except for you, who were nowhere to be seen!

Yet you say you did not enter Floating Jade Mountain Ridge without permission.

You stole the Star Flower Deity Amulet.

Tell me, where did you go?

I really don't know anything!

Disciple- Disciple was drunk the previous night.

When I woke up, I was already brought here by Master!

Besides- Besides what is Star Flower Deity Amulet?

Disciple has never heard of it!

It's all nonsense!

Master! Master! Disciple is wrong!

Disciple is wrong! Disciple will never dare to do it again!

Master, Floating Jade Mountain Ridge is abnormally dangerous.

Yu Huanzheng's inherent disposition is weak.

I believe even if we let him have one hundred more dares, he'll still not be daring enough to enter without permission.

But destroying the Stars Cycle Wheel is a crime that can't be forgiven.

According to the Stars Court law he has to be expelled.

Don't! Don't!

Don't! Teacher don't!

What he has spoken will take effect immediately.

Yu Huanzheng, you're also no longer a Stars Court disciple!

Teacher! Teacher! I know I'm wrong.

The other brothers' identities are respectable.

If I leave Stars Court,

I will not have anything.

Moreover... Moreover, I have another hidden reason.

Based on what you've said so far, what you're going to say is of no use.

I hope that in the future you will be repentant.

Be a good person, and be filial to your mother.

Take him away!

- Yes.- Teacher! Teacher!

I'm innocent, Teacher!

Teacher! Teacher! I'm really innocent!

Two fellow brothers.

Huanzheng! Huanzheng!

Huanzheng!

I couldn't find you anywhere.

Are you going down the hill to play?

Because I destroyed the Stars Cycle Wheel,

I have been expelled by our teachers.

From now on, I'm no longer a Stars Court disciple.

What? This won't do. If you hadn't destroyed the enchantment

I would've died earlier, in Floating Jade Mountain Ridge.

I'm going to ask Teacher. I only came to look for Brother Tingjun.

Anyway, I'm also not a Stars Court disciple.

That won't do! You absolutely cannot do that!

Even if you're not a Stars Court disciple,

you will be punished with the whip. You've already received a punishment of 49 lashes because of me.

That's all in the past.

I don't remember it. I will definitely help you.

What's the matter with you?

Ms. Yi, may I ask when were you born?

I was born on the 7th year of the Tianheji, on the 1st day of the month of Guxuan.

I was born poor. Since I was little,

there has been no one, other than my sister,

who was kind to me like you.

Can I call you Sister Ling?

Of course.

Since you are now my little brother,

more's the reason I can't just leave you like this.

Let's go.

What are you doing?

This Sky Grass was even previously given to me by Feng Tianyi.

Sister Ling, I can't bring you trouble anymore.

I'll leave now. Let's separate here.

But...

You took it wrongly last time. This time, I'm sure it'll work.

But this Sky Grass isn't taken like that, right?

That's right. Isn't it that the Sky Grass should be

taken mouth-to-mouth for it to work?

Are you kidding? Mouth-to-mouth?

That's so preposterous!

But last time...

Oh, last time, I gave you an expired one;

hence, it led you to an aberrant behavior.

The Sky Grass has taken effect already. Sister Ling,

you are the warmest memory I have here at Stars Court.

Let's meet again if we are fated.

Huanzheng!

Feng Tianyi!

Feng Tianyi, you scoundrel!

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by The Dawn Of Gods Team @ Viki ϟ

Brother Tingjun, once you're awake,

you will see the red beans of longing that I drew.

Ms. Yi, this is a mystical medicine for healing injuries sent by the Wingkind.

To let Young Master take it will be the best.

Wait! It's Feng Tianyi again, right?

Let me tell you something. Feng Tianyi is a very sly person.

He might have put poison in that. That's why you must not give it to Brother Tingjun.

Feng Tianyi is still the Wingkind Emperor.

I think he wouldn't do such a despicable thing as poisoning.

No way. I'll first ask Teacher Yinchi.

Young Master's is at death's door. Can't wait anymore.

What are you doing? You!

I believe that Feng Tianyi wouldn't do such a thing. It will surely work.

But what if--

Ling'er... Ling'er...

Brother Tingjun.

Brother Tingjun, I'm here.

- I'll leave now.- Ling'er...

How long was I asleep?

3 days, 3 nights.

I kept looking forward for you to wake up. But you just wouldn't.

I was so scared.

What's to be scared about?

Are you scared that I can't protect you anymore?

I know.

Since we were little, I have always been a troublemaker.

Always letting you bear everything for me.

But I guarantee that from this day on,

I will never cause you trouble anymore.

Stupid girl,

you were never my trouble.

For me, being able to stay by your side and protect you in this lifetime,

I don't have any other wish and am already very contented.

Just that?

Brother Tingjun, look. You said that Stars Court doesn't have any red beans.

I drew one.

Ling'er, red beans symbolize longing.

How can I not know your feelings?

You drew it quite nicely.

Oh, right.

You just entered Stars Court. You must be careful in guarding against Feng Tianyi.

He's advancing gradually and entrenching himself at every step. He surely isn't a good kind of person.

Brother Tingjun, are you still jealous

about Feng Tianyi?

I'm already a little tired and want to rest for a while.

You've also taken care of me for several days already. Go back and have a rest.

Brother Tingjun! Brother Tingjun!

Brother Tingjun, wake up!

Master, Yu Huanzheng has already left Stars Court and gone down the mountain.

When he left, only Yi Fuling saw him off.

Stupid girl doesn't know anything,

but she's quite considerate.

And also, regarding Qi Luolin's matter, we've already sent men to take care of it cleanly.

You killed him?

Without Master's orders, we dare not.

We only took advantage of the time that his meal is delivered to get him out.

In passing, we set it up to look like he escaped.

Right now, he's in an unknown village, locked up by us.

He might never know what really happened in this lifetime.

But there's one thing I don't understand.

Say it.

Actually, Qi Luolin can be considered as a valuable person.

Since Master saved him, why not let him work under you?

A person who sells his soul for gain like him is a poisonous snake wherever you put him.

Today, he can receive our money.

But tomorrow, he can receive someone else's money and betray us.

Bai Tingjun.

Although today you were injured by the Flame Core Machine Armor,

I also have eliminated a traitor in your group.

The two of us don't owe each other anything.

Teacher, isn't it Feng Tianyi that injured brother Tingjun?

Feng Tianyi? He's not.

If not for his medicine, this Bai Tingjun would have already passed away from this world.

But even now,

the longest he can live is only 3 days.

How could it be like this?

This attack by the Flame Core Machine Armor may seem like just a superficial injury,

but the truth is, it shattered his heart and blood vessels.

It's a pity.

He will not. Brother Tingjun will not die like this.

Teacher, you must save him.

Save? Then how can I save him?

Even if I use the "extending his soul" method, there must be the exchange of another person's life for his life.

I... I'm willing.

Teacher., I'm willing to die in exchange for brother Tingjun's life.

Hey, touch wood, touch wood, touch wood!

You are a young schoolgirl, and your mouth is lightly filled with talking about this death. Very unlucky.

You guys let me go!

Put me down! Who are you people?

Let me go!

Put me down!

Let go! Let go!

Release me! Let go!

Let me go out! Let me go out! Let me go out!

What is this place?

A dead tree from the summit of the Mountain Sea.

It's interior is empty. If you make a kite out of it, you can fly it around for 9 days.

Blood phoenix bird feather?

Also millennium stone.

What people can collected so many treasures?

Enjoy the benefit of Lord Ren.

It isn't a dream, right?

It's real.

Do you really want to save him?

Who are you?

You can't find me. Because I've already died.

I was killed by you.

You're talking nonsense! I never hurt people.

Really?

It's you. You are that monster.

You're the one who's a monster. We are the mythological guardians of the Floating Jade Mountain Ridge.

If not because of you,

why would I end up in a state where my soul is scattered?

It's you! It's you that harmed Brother Tingjun!

No! It's you that harmed him!

But I also have a way to save him.

It's the soul attracting technique that old man Xing Guxue mentioned.

Don't you want to hear it?

Why? Are you scared?

I'm not.

As long as I can save Brother Tingjun, I'm also willing to die!

All I want is for you to say these words.

Fire within water, ice within fire,

immortal wood, flower within a stone,

add an object that is extremely Yang and Yin, non-living and non-dying into the concoction,

and then use a living human's blood as the lead.

This drug is poisonous by itself. The maker should take it first,

and then feed his blood to the patient.

This is the soul attracting technique that Xing Guxuan is not willing to tell you.

Bai Tingjun lives while you must die.

Your Majesty, it's very bad news.

What's the matter? Speak.

I was observing the stars in the sky, and noticed that the Star Flower Deity Amulet has changed its position.

Which also means that the new generation Star Flower Deity Amulet

will soon be awakened.
