both wanna have it
at each of their places.

My mother feels
it needs to be at her place,

it’s not as homey or cozy enough

and wants it at her place.

at either of their places
before?

No, we always had it
at Grandma Gladys’ place.

But now since she’s gone,
Aunt Alma lives there,

and it doesn’t seem like
much of an option now.

And also because Aunt Alma’s
not the one to fight for it.

Tiffany and I was thinking
maybe we could host, say,

a pre‐union gathering
at our place this weekend.

You can come and meet everyone
as a pro,

and then if they agreed, and
leave it up to you to decide.

I loved everything

but I thought it would be cute,

you can incorporate
some family traditions into it.

to continue that tradition
in his name.
