Gotham needs you

to register for tonight's Gotham Dog Show.

Yo, the Gotham Dog Show is today?

Oh, I've always wanted to go.

That's right. It's your last chance to enter

and compete against these proper pooches

for the snazzy "Best in Show" prize.

Something looks awfully familiar

about that last owner.

BC, enhance.

What's Harley doing at a dog show?

And what's up with her dog?

[Batgirl] I'm pretty sure that's a hyena.

I guess that's kind of like a dog.

She's gotta be up to something.

Which is why I'll enter Ace in the dog show.

So I can keep a close eye on Harley.

Show dogs are more graceful, calm and patient.

Ace is more of an action dog.

He always keeps trying until he gets it right.

Okay, so there's three events in the dog show.

Athletics, Inspection and Tricks.

We'll go over each.

We'll start off with Athletics.

First, you jump through some tires,

then you weave through some poles,

then you jump over two high bars

and then you go up and down a huge ramp

and the prize is yours.

-[barks] -Ready...

set...

-go! -[barks]

Ace, you're supposed to run through the course,

not around it.

[barks]

Let's try out the Inspection event.

MOE will pretend to be the judge

and I'll pose with you.

First we lift our head up high.

[Moe] Hm.

Then we tilt to show off our ears.

[Moe] Hm.

[laughs]

Whoa! I'm okay.

We'll work on that.

Maybe the Tricks event will go better.

Okay, let's try fetch. Whoa!

You have to wait for me to throw it, Ace.

[barks, growls]

Do you think he can figure out

He just needs practice.

I know these things are all new to you.

But you're gonna do great at the show!

This is gonna be awesome!

Don't forget to keep an eye out for trouble

from Harley and her hyena.

[laughs]

[growls]

Hey, easy, Ace.

They haven't done anything wrong... yet.

But with both of us watching,

no way they get away with anything.

Ugh! Oh, hey, Robbie.

You should just give up now,

before you get embarrassed.

[scoffs] We'll see about that.

but I'm sure it was as great as your other tricks.

[barking]

The dog show is pretty exciting, huh?

Next up is the Athletics event.

You're gonna love it.

[barks]

[growling]

[whistle blows]

Ooh-hoo-hoo! You got this, Ace.

You better win, Giggles.

[panting]

Ace is gonna win!

-Look at him go! -What a good boy!

I want that prize, Giggles!

Do whatever it takes!

[snarls]

If we can't win that prize,

[giggles]

Ace, Harley is stealing the prize.

[laughs]

BC, Harley's escaping with the prize.

Send the Redbird-- Whoa!

Okay, that was quick. Nice work.

Ace, let's go. Ace?

[barks]

[laughs]

[panting]

You should know by now,

That was awesome!

That was some first-class crime fighting.

[applause]

And now, I'll present the award

for "Best in Show" for the dog

most deserving of the honor.

[whines]

I'm sorry, buddy. You did a great job,

even if you didn't get to finish the competition.

In my eyes, you're--

Ace, the Bat-Dog!

-[cheering] -No way! Yes!

[barks]

Ace, you may not have finished the competition,

but we just saw you perform

all the same jumps, dodges and leaps

to keep the prize trophy safe.

And for that, we judge you

Gotham's "Best in Show"!

[barks]
