I don't have any friends.

-No! No! No! -[camera shutter clicks]

PREVIOUSLY

-Now, we're gonna talk, you and me. -Hey! What are you doing?

You're gonna bring me a sandwich tomorrow.

-[♪ tense instrumental music playing] -[Kiri] Are you here?

CAPTAIN TOMATO

-We have Captain Tomato here. -[all laugh]

[psychologist] That's why you made yourself invisible.

So that the monsters wouldn't see you.

-[rumbling] -[screams]

You have to stand up to them, or this won't stop.

RODENTICIDE

Look, guys! He brought me the sandwich!

-You're going out with an abuser. -Leave me alone!

What books have you read? You must have read one.

Why would I trust a new teacher when all the others hadn't done anything?

Because she was different?

What about me?

I have a better plan. We're gonna hold the Olympics.

Friends? I've been tough on you. And you with me today.

We're square, right?

Besides, we'll all be there. I'm going with you.

Then everything's forgotten.

Tomorrow, everybody come to my house, okay?

-[♪ music fades] -[MM] Come on, hit record. [laughs]

-What, huh? -[Jairo] Look at that face!

[MM] Look how handsome he is, look at him, he's so handsome.

[Jairo and Nacho laugh]

[MM] What's up, man? Say hi to the camera.

-Hi. -[MM laughs]

-[♪ soft dramatic music playing] -[wasps buzzing]

[Capi groans]

To fight against a villain, a hero must find their powers.

-Do you like it? His name is Virus. -[Luna] Virus? Why'd you call him that?

WASP BOY

[Capi] 'Cause… I don't know.

Because he spreads his evil to others!

[Luna] Is a bad guy…

bad from the beginning, or do they become that way?

I guess from the beginning.

[Luna] If there's a villain, there has to be a hero, right?

[Capi] That's why the hero has to exist.

And in this story, the hero doesn't exist yet.

But if he existed, he'd have superpowers.

-That's right. -Which ones?

-He doesn't know yet. -But does he find them?

He does.

[♪ music fades]

[reporter] And the repercussions continue to multiply following the incident

that has shocked our society and the educational community,

highlighting just how difficult it can be to get a handle on the levels of bullying

and violence within the school environment.

Numerous voices have been raised calling for effective action plans

and demanding that educational institutions conduct

the necessary investigations.

In this particular case, no follow-up assessment was conducted

on the bullying identification test that the minor took,

and the parents were never informed despite several reports…

Oh, hi.

…indicating that the school administration was aware of what was happening.

I got a call from the school this afternoon.

You didn't go, right?

[reporter] …bullying that allow for the evaluation of each student's situation…

No.

-…in the school. These evaluations… -[Blanca] Well…

…allow staff to detect existing cases and take the necessary measures…

There are leftovers in the kitchen if you want to heat them up.

[reporter] …the victim and to punish the abusive behavior.

These measures also have a deterrent effect,

as children who frequently exhibit such violent behavior receive

a clear message that their actions are not acceptable to the school

and that they will be penalized accordingly.

Attention is focused on the administrators at the school

who were allegedly negligent in this glaring case of bullying.

The school's principal has promised to convene a special assembly.

From all this, a new debate has emerged on the necessary measures to put an end

to bullying in the school environment.

[♪ upbeat techno music playing, The Midi Mafia "Vampire"]

Guys, welcome to the Olympics! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon!

-[guest 1] Hi, how are you? -[guest 2] Yeah.

-[MM] Hey, what's up, dude? -Hey, where were you?

-[MM] You know, I've been around. -What a party, huh?

Man! Of course!

[indistinct chatter]

-Are you having a good time or what? -Yeah, yeah.

[MM] Hey, Betty!

[girls laughing]

[indistinct chatter]

-Hey, dude! -I didn't invite you!

Hey! What's going on here?

-What are you playing? Let me see. -Come on!

That sucks, my goodness.

[indistinct chatter]

Man!

Here! Hey!

-Hey! -[Jairo] Your turn!

-What a coincidence! -What happened?

-Come on, hurry up. -Come on, let's go! Let's go! Hey!

-That's it! -Hey! See, it wasn't a big deal.

Guys, you have an Olympian here, huh? An Olympian!

-Yeah, that's it! Yeah, that's it! -It was just a game, seriously!

What do you want me to do? Seriously, I didn't do it on purpose.

You would have done the same thing.

-[Zaro] Where? -[Izan] There, there.

[Zaro] Where?!

So cool.

[gunshots play over game]

-I'm missing one, dude. Where is it? -Behind the rock, behind the rock!

-Let's go! -Let's go!

What? Good, huh?

I'd never played on such a big TV.

-Guys! Champion Zaro! -[all cheer, applaud]

Hi. What a party you've got here!

Hey, Capi, wanna play?

All right, guys, a moment of your attention. Let's cut the crap.

Straight to the point!

Attention please, can you hear me?

-[all] Yeah! -[MM over megaphone] There you go!

Let's go over the oath for the newbies. Understood?

[guests] Yeah!

-We swear… -[all] We swear…

that what happens at the Olympics stays at the Olympics!

-[MM] Way to go! -[all cheer]

-[Nacho] Let's go! -Let's go!

[♪ song fades]

[Capi] A superhero is nothing until they find their powers.

And I was on the verge of discovering mine.

[psychologist] So, how did you get them?

[MM over megaphone] Let's see… Let's see, come on, let's go.

Come on, everybody to the pool. Come on! Come on, guys, I don't bite.

Everybody get in a line over there, like that.

-That's it. -Come on, losers, let's go!

[MM] All right, just a second!

Let's see. Here, Captain Tomato wants us to call him Capi. [scoffs]

But for that, you have to pass the tests.

-Right? -[♪ tense instrumental music playing]

Because, in order to come into my house and touch my PlayStation…

you have to be an Olympian, dude.

-Isn't that right? -[all] Yeah!

And what do I have to do?

[Jairo laughs]

[MM] C'mon.

Look, you have to jump over the fence and sneak into my neighbor's house.

Come on, dude, don't make me call you Captain Tomato again, huh?

[all] Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

-Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! -Not up there. Down there.

[all] Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi…

-That's it, Captain Tomato. -[all cheer, applaud]

-[MM] Very good! Way to go! -[Jairo] Come on, come on!

[Betty] Come on, guys, let's keep the party going!

-[girl] This is just getting started! -[all cheer]

[Betty] C'mon, get in there!

-[Nacho] Move. [laughs] -Walk.

-[Jairo laughs] -[Capi] And now?

[MM] Now, you have to do what we tell you. If you want to be an Olympian, that is.

Hey! [laughs]

That way.

Guys, take out your phones.

Now, whatever you do will be recorded as evidence.

For the others. So, it's up to you what you want to show.

[Nacho and Jairo laugh]

-Come on, stay there. There. -What's the matter?

-Leave me alone, guys. -[MM] Jairo, you're being such a pain.

-Leave me alone. -Hit record.

[wasps buzzing]

The time has come for you to earn a name among the Olympians.

Hmm? [laughs]

-[Capi] Please… -[Jairo laughs] Watch this, guys.

-[laughs] -[MM] It's perfect.

That's how I got them.

With the wasps, of course. Like Spider-Man.

Him with a spider, me with a wasp.

-[sirens blaring in distance] -[motorbike revving]

Physically, I see he's getting better maybe,

but psychologically, I think he is… he's still in a very bad place.

[nurse] But Ana, it's still too early to tell. We need to wait a few days.

[Ana] I know, but do you think-- I mean…

[continues speaking indistinctly]

[♪ soft ominous music playing]

[door opens in distance]

[gasps, shudders]

-[♪ music builds] -[Capi breathes heavily]

Mom…

No…

[alarm beeping]

[♪ music fades]

Well, he'll need to keep resting, and we have to go back for check-ups

and visits with the psychologist. But yes, that's right.

Yeah, enough with the hospital, yeah.

Yeah, I think so, much better, to be honest.

And after what happened last night…

Yes, another… another crisis, yeah. The nightmares.

You've done new drawings of Virus.

[Ana] Well, anyway, I'll call you when I get home, okay?

We'll talk it all over. All right, take care, bye, now.

[♪ somber instrumental music playing]

[Ana] Are you okay?

[♪ tense instrumental music playing]

-[MM] Tomato! -[Jairo] Tomato!

-[Nacho] Tomato! -[Jairo] Tomato!

-[MM] Tomato, come here! -[Jairo] Tomato!

-[MM] Come here, Tomato! -[Jairo and Nacho laugh]

[MM] Come here!

-[Jairo] Tomato! -[Nacho] Tomato!

-[Jairo] Tomato! -[tomato thuds]

[MM] Come here, Tomato!

-Look at that! Tomato! -[Jairo] Come on, Tomato!

-Tomato! -[MM] Tomato, come here! Look!

[Nacho] Look! [laughs]

[MM] Watch this, Tomato!

-[tomatoes thudding] -[Jairo] Tomato!

[breathes heavily]

[Jairo] Come and play for a bit, Tomato!

-[MM] Look, look, Tomato! -[Jairo] Hey!

[MM] Come on, come to the window!

You're gonna be okay here. Hmm?

Let's go, guys.

[♪ music fades]

Were you aware of what they were doing to him?

What were they doing to him?

No.

[Nacho] No.

[detective] No? Did you ever see anything?

-No. -[detective] Nothing?

No.

Actually, yes.

I didn't think it was gonna be such a big deal, to be honest.

[detective] The accident has indeed become a big deal.

You never saw anything?

-No. -It was hard not to know about.

-I think everyone knew about it. -Teachers too?

Yeah.

-[crickets chirping] -[sirens blaring in distance]

-[♪ soft pensive music playing] -[MM] Over there, come on.

I don't know, he was around here. Look, there.

Capi!

-Capi! Capi, dude! -Please, take a step back. Be careful.

[indistinct chatter]

[girl] Oh, my gosh!

[breathes softly]

[indistinct radio chatter]

[Ana] How is he, Doctor?

He's recovering.

It's strange, but he's reacting extremely well to the antihistamine.

[heart monitor beeping]

[doctor] It's not common.

[♪ heroic instrumental music playing]

Hey!

[scoffs] My gosh. [laughs]

You look like an orc, dude. [laughs]

I feel fine.

Hey, too bad you missed the Magic tournament. I qualified.

I know, I'm glad.

Man, thank goodness MM came back to the party and told us

what happened to you and we called the ambulance.

-Because if we didn't… -Yeah, thanks to him.

[Kiri] How are you?

Fine.

But what did they make you do?

Nothing. I didn't see the nest.

[Kiri] We shouldn't have gone to that party.

And we shouldn't have gotten involved in that Olympic crap.

[♪ music fades]

[psychologist] When you went back to school after being stung,

what happened?

[Capi] I spent three days in the emergency room.

During that time, I didn't receive a single message,

or notification from social media. It seemed like everything had calmed down.

[indistinct chatter]

What? Did he rat on us?

It doesn't look like it. He's been offline for three days.

Excuse me? What's the matter with you?

I'm just not in the mood for your crap, babe, okay?

Okay, but don't come crying to me later.

-'Cause then maybe I won't be in the mood. -You're such a pain in the neck!

Screw you!

Okay. Go, fly away.

Girl…

-You're unbearable. -Okay, come on, let's go.

[scoffs]

-Let's go. -[girl] It's not worth it, girl.

[Nacho mocking Capi]

-[laughs] -And what are you laughing at? Let's see.

-[MM over phone] Simple. Yes or no? -It's hilarious, I can't stop watching.

-[MM] Shut up! You're such a pain! -[Nacho] Rewind it! [laughs]

Delete all the videos where you can see our faces, okay?

-Okay, okay, okay. [laughs] -[Nacho laughs]

-[Jairo] Come on! -[MM] You, zoom in on his face.

-[♪ tense instrumental music playing] -[MM] Hey! Look at me. Right, fat face?

[indistinct chatter]

[Capi] But nothing had calmed down.

It was just the calm before the storm.

The powers didn't appear, but I felt something inside

that made me strong and helped me stop being afraid.

-[♪ music fades] -[school bell ringing]

[teacher] I was expecting less, to be honest. You've surprised me.

[Jairo] Of course, there's some class here, miss.

[teacher] Although there are exceptions too, huh?

Will this grade count?

I'll see. It depends. Very good, Olivia.

I really liked this take on toxic romanticism.

-[Jairo] Lesbos! -[students laugh]

[dragon growls]

-What did you say? -Nothing.

I said, "What did you say?"

-Nothing. -[teacher] Nothing?

No.

Do you think that sexual orientation is an insult?

No.

Do you think some are right and some are wrong?

-[Jairo hesitates] No. -[teacher] No?

The next insult I hear in this class will get you sent straight

to the principal's office with a form for expulsion.

Is that clear to everyone?

Welcome back.

I'm glad to see you didn't let a few wasps take you down.

If you want to discuss your grade, just come by my office.

A little more interest wouldn't hurt, would it?

[sighs]

[school bell ringing]

-[indistinct chatter] -Wanna go?

[♪ tense instrumental music playing]

I'm sick of this teacher and her little pet.

Man, so what are we waiting for?

When are we gonna give him his welcome back gift?

-[MM] Now. -[laughs]

-Let's go. -Be right there.

The boy's parents haven't filed a complaint against the school yet,

but they will likely do so soon.

In the meantime…

I know that no one will talk about what happened.

It's always the same. Silence, and nerves.

No one knows anything, no one has seen anything.

Fortunately, there is always someone

who is willing to help find the ones responsible.

And you think that person is me.

I do, yes.

I know your story.

I'm sure you knew about everything that was going on.

Bullying? Here? No, I don't think so.

I've been watching him and something is off.

I think three kids are making his life miserable.

Since when?

I don't know, for a few weeks, maybe more.

But do you have any proof?

Proof?

Well, I've seen certain reactions in the hallways, his performance is down.

His academic performance is normal.

We're in high school, their hormones are all over the place.

-What did you expect? -I'm seriously worried.

Here, there's neither bullying nor bullcrap. That's a serious matter.

You have to know how to differentiate when it's just childish behavior,

-nothing more. -[dragon growls]

[dragon] This is not childish behavior.

This is not childish behavior.

Let's not rush into things.

We'll stay alert and that's it.

That's it?

What more do you want?

It's not important.

[voice echoes] Boys argue. Sometimes they even fight,

but they always work things out among themselves…

…but they always work things out among themselves.

Very well.

-[indistinct chatter] -[door slams]

-[dragon] What will you do, girl? -Something.

I don't know what, but something.

[dragon] I hope so.

-Do you have it? -Sending it to all the groups.

-And social media. [laughs] -[laughs]

Hit it.

[cell phones chime]

-[MM] Hey! Look at me. Right, fat face? -[student] Have you seen it?

-[Jairo speaks indistinctly over video] -Oh, wow!

[students murmuring, laughing]

-[Capi] Please. -[all laugh]

[MM] Come on! It's about time, let's go!

[Jairo] We're almost there… What a handsome guy.

[MM] Handsome guy! [laughs]

He's so adorable. Look, say hi to the camera. Come on.

Look at him. Look how sweet he is. Now, if you pass the tests…

-Leave me alone, please, guys. Please! -[student] Watch this.

[students murmuring, laughing]

-[Zaro] Capi, don't check your phone. -What?

[cell phone chimes]

[MM] Look at him! Look how handsome he is, huh?

-[Capi] Please! -[MM] What a handsome guy.

-[Jairo] Tomato! -[all] Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato! Tomato!

Tomato! Tomato! Tomato…

Capi. Capi, please.

Capi, wait for me!

Capi!

You told me you didn't see the nest. Why did you grab it?

You lied to me. They forced you to, didn't they?

I grabbed it because I wanted to.

-[♪ somber instrumental music playing] -Stop lying to me! I'm trying to help you.

Just like you helped me by convincing me to go to his house, right?

No…

-I didn't think it was a trap. -Do me a favor.

Don't help me again.

Hey. Have you seen the video, dude? It's crazy.

[Zaro] Hey, hey!

Capi!

Capi, dude!

Why did you do what they told you?

Because I had to! Okay?

I thought maybe that was my chance.

-Your chance to do what? -To get my powers.

What are you talking about, man? You're losing it.

Having powers isn't real! Okay?

That only happens in comics!

What do you know?

Were you there to help me?

No, right?

Not you or Kiri!

So, shut it!

I'm alone, you know?

Alone!

[♪ music fades]

[psychologist] It was a good idea to discharge him. Really.

Being at home will help him.

Being in his own environment, with his things, with you all.

-He'll feel more secure. -[Ana] I hope so. Being with his family…

So, little by little, he needs to return to his normal life,

and it's up to us to start convincing him it's okay to go back to school.

-Isn't it a bit too soon for that? -Ana, we've already discussed it, honey.

He needs to go back to normal.

But maybe "normal" isn't what's best for him at this moment--

And what if… what if we let him decide for himself?

He still needs to process and understand everything that's happened to him.

Anyway, before we start the session, I wanted to ask if you know about,

or are aware of, a video that went viral a few months ago.

A video?

-A video of what? -Of your son.

-What video? -[♪ soft ominous music playing]

-[MM] Hit record. -[Jairo laughs]

[MM] What? Huh? Look how handsome. Look, what a handsome guy.

What's up, man? Say hi to the camera.

[Capi] Hi.

-[MM] Perfect. -[Nacho] Gorgeous.

-Hey! Look at me. Fat face. Hit record. -[wasps buzzing]

[laughs] Look at him.

-Look how handsome he is, huh? -Please. Please!

-What a handsome guy! -[Nacho] Like a little girl.

-So handsome! -[Jairo] Dang.

-Come on, say hi to camera. -Hi.

[all laugh]

-Come on. -[wasps buzzing]

If you do it, you'll earn a name among the Olympians.

-Please… -"Please," what?

-Eh? -Photo! Look at this! Look at this.

-Perfect, dude. -[laughs]

Hey! You look at me, okay, fat face? Look.

Now, you go grab the wasps' nest, and bring it to me. Okay? Simple.

-Yes or no? -Plea--

Shut up. You're such a pain. [laughs]

If you don't do it, you'll see. [laughs]

-Come on! [laughs] -You, zoom in on his face.

[Jairo] Didn't you want us to call you Captain?

[Nacho] Come on, you're so close to becoming one of us.

-Show us who you are! -[MM] Come on, Capi, you can do it!

-[Jairo] Come on, man! [laughs] -[laughs]

-[Jairo] Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi! -Capi! Capi! Capi! Capi!

-[Jairo] Capi! Capi! -[MM] Man, he's doing it, he's doing it.

-You, you! Hey! -Capi!

-[MM] Give it to me. -[Jairo] Ca-- You!

-You, guys! Guys, guys, guys! Back up! -Ah! Help!

-Back the heck up! Back up! -[grunts]

-Guys, guys, guys! -[Nacho] This guy is a maniac. Let's go.

-MM. Let's go, MM. -[yells]

-[Nacho] Jairo, come on, let's go. -[Jairo] MM, let's go! Let's go, man!

Let's go! Let's go! Come on. Let's go. Come on. Dude, dude! Dude.

Dude, dude, we screwed up. We need to call an ambulance or something.

Dude, he's so messed up. He's so messed up!

He's foaming at the mouth! This is so bad.

-[Capi] Help! Help! -Oh, man, oh, man, oh, man!

Who recorded this?

But…

-That's not what he told us. -But why?

[psychologist] Right. I know, I know.

But many people have seen it, and he's suffered so much.

-I can't. I'm sorry, I can't handle this. -[psychologist] Yes, yes.

Ana.

Since you know who his friends are, you might want to try to figure this out.

Ana!

Ana!

-Ana! Ana. Ana, honey. -[breathes heavily] No. No. No.

What do we know about our son? What? We know nothing. Nothing!

We didn't know about his back, or about the video. Nothing! Nothing!

And where have we been this whole time?

-I don't know. I don't know. -Tell me. Where? Where?

-And why didn't he ask us for help? -I don't know, my love. I don't know.

[Ana sobs]

-[Mateo] It's okay. -[Ana] We have to do something.

We have to do something.

[pages flipping]

[psychologist] I think I had this one as a kid.

[Capi] Why did you show them the video?

You shouldn't have that.

[psychologist] I'm here to help you work through what happened.

No. You're here to tell me why it happened to me.

Because I don't understand it.

I was a normal kid, like any other.

I'm not tall, not short, not fat, not skinny, I'm… normal.

So, tell me, why did it happen to me?

Tell me!

I don't know.

What I do know is that I'm here to help you.

How?

How are you gonna help me?

Did they do this to you when you were a kid?

No.

No, no, no, not that.

Hmm.

But I'm not going to let you isolate yourself again.

Why not?

They left me alone before.

Did you ask for help?

Maybe they did, huh? Maybe they left you alone,

but did you have the courage to ask for help?

Me?

I'm not the one to blame for what they did to me.

[♪ dramatic rock music playing, The Phantoms "Bad Things"]

They isolated me.

After the video, they hit me less for a few days.

But they did things that hurt much more than the physical blows.

They removed me from the group chats. Nobody came near me.

I felt like an outcast, pushed away from everything.

Even my friends stopped wanting to spend time with me.

GIRL, REMOVE HIM FROM THE GROUP, AND THAT'S THAT!

DELETE HIM FROM THE GROUP WITHOUT THINKING TWICE!!!!

DON'T RESPOND AT ALL AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TALKING TO HIM!

HE'S A WEIRDO!! SCREW HIM!
