while Violet and Axl can get their medical supplies ready

just in case there are any boo-boos to patch up.

But that's all the stuff I usually do.

My J-Scanner picked up an emergency:

There's a fire at Mudflap Marsh.

But wait... Uh-oh.

That mama duck and her eggs

are trapped on the island.

We've gotta rescue 'em.

Oh, let's radio Halo.

Yeah, I don't know.

I mean, do we really need his help?

He can fly right over to the island.

Okay. I'll call him.

We can do this without Halo.

Okay, here's the plan:

Axl and Violet will use the swift and drift move

to spray dirt on the shoreline fire,

while Jayden and Piston use the J-Drones

to drop water on the island fire.

And Flash and I will help put out both the fires

-with our Super Sprayer. -Let's do this.

-I'm ready. -Hit it.

[Jayden] The J-Drones can't drop enough water

to put out the fire!

Why isn't Halo here yet?

He could dump a ton of water on that fire.

We don't need Halo!

Flash and I can put it out.

But you can extend your ladder over it.

and I can carry it to safety.

I can use my J-Hook to pull the tree off him.

Aw, man, we can't get it past those rocks!

The only way to get the tree off Bo is to lift it up.

But I don't know how we can do that.

who can pull that tree off you,

so you'll have to wait for him to rescue you.

I hope he gets here soon.

So there I was,

up to my hubcaps in mud,

watching a shadow dartin' around.

I couldn't spot the bird, then, I heard it.

I had no idea.

I looked left, I looked right,

and then I looked up.

-And there it was. -[gasps]

The legendary chrome-crested cuckoo

perched right on my sirens.

Whoa, Dad, you've taken a picture

of every kind of bird there is!

There's one bird I've been searching for

since I was your age:

The red-hooded woodpecker.

Isn't it im-peck-able?

Well, it's the rarest bird in the county.

I've never even seen one, let alone taken its picture.

I can pull him up with my tow cable.

[over megaphone] Flash! Axl is going to lower her tow cable,

but you'll need to attach it to your bumper.

I can't! I have to hold the rocks back.

Then I'll drive down to you.

The birds are in trouble

because I went off the trail.

We have to protect their home!

He's right, Buds.

We gotta find a way to get Flash out

and keep the rocks from rolling

into the woodpecker's habitat.

The fastest way to get him out

is to lift him out.

a firetruck by yourself?

but, Halo, you'll need to go get him.

[grunts] How's that rescue plan coming, Buds?
