The multiple earthquakes and the heavy rains, have caused irreversible, immense damage to Bangalore.
The situation in Bangalore is very grave.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the city and its citizens.
We'll be back after the break with our two brave field reporters
who are in Bangalore right now and are trying to go on air, amidst all the chaos.
Stay tuned.
‘Man, this is terrible. I love my city.
I can't believe this is happening. And I can't believe everything that my parents told me
in their will, is true. 'The Invincible Gate'.
It prevents all sorts of natural disasters from ever destroying or even touching my house.
My parents died, when I was a little kid.
They left me with the babysitter and they died in a car crash. Sucks for me!
When I read their will a couple of years later, I found out that they left me with tons of money,
this gigantic house and 'The Invincible Gate' to protect the house with.
They went on to explain how it's this brand new revolutionary technology and it's gonna protect
our house from everything.
My rich parents were the only ones who could afford this prototype model of the gate.
It was their ultimate protection to make sure nothing happens to the house.
To make things more interesting, get this.
They had a nuclear powered generator installed so that the house never runs out of power.
I thought it was bullshit at first.
But, when the multiple earthquakes and heavy rains hit Bengaluru,
nothing happened to me or my house.
I'm a recluse.
I don't have too many friends, or a girlfriend.
So, luckily when these disasters struck, I was at home. I saw that the Gate worked and I continued staying at home.’
We are now going live to our field reporters, Armaan & Shahid.
Yes, myself Shahid. The situation in Bangalore is very grave.
All the buildings and landmarks are completely upside down.
Vidhana Soudha has gone full sideways.
At Lalbagh there’s no garden anymore, it’s become Lal river now.
Stop hogging all the lines. I also have to say something, no?
So, like he was saying
Nandi Hills has also now become Nandi Lake.
At times like this, we should have listened to that tree girl, what’s her name?
- Greta Gerwig or- - Don’t give wrong information, man.
Greta Gerwig is that director that ‘Lady Bug’. She also made that other movie, no?
‘Small Ladies’ or something? Tree girl is Greta Thunberg.
Turn-berg, iceberg, straight-berg they’re all same only, no?
What I’m saying is, we didn’t listen.
Because of that now we’re damaging the environment.
Anyways, the situation here in Church Street is very grave.
As I was saying, our thoughts and prayers are with the Bengalureans.
Hail Bengaluru, hail ‘Kannad’, hail Karnataka!
May God bless you, Bengaluru.
Our cameraman is waving from behind. I think he’d like to say something.
Hey Gunde, come here!
Sorry, I don’t know English.
So, I wanted you guys to see me and that’s why I’m in front of the camera.
It has been my childhood dream to become a famous reporter.
But mostly, the three of us will die today. That’s why I’m in front of the camera.
You ruined the camera, too!
Yeah whatever, whatever you said, man.
Why are you staying in Karnataka? Go somewhere else!
Oh, God! What happened, Gunda?!
So, as we speak, the floods and earthquakes are getting worse by the second.
We have to fight for our lives, soon.
It’s like they say. Cats and dogs are raining from the sky.
This is Armaan from DDS News, signing out.
Okay, I’m leaving guys. Buh-bye.
Hey, don’t leave me here! What about me?!
Somebody help me, please! Help me!
They’re very brave reporters. Whether they were 100% professional and articulate?
Maybe not.
DDS News is the only one currently reporting on the Bengaluru floods and earthquakes
on the ground level. Because, the situation is very high-risk.
But, but, but, they didn't tell you guys the full story, yet.
There are rumours that there is a house on the outskirts of the city.
It apparently has some high-tech one of a kind gate. It protects the people inside the gate
and the house of course, from all kinds of natural disasters,
including earthquakes and tremors. They will stop and the ground
won't crack past the gate. Also, it will obviously rain on and around the gate
but, the water levels will be minimal and won't reach flood level.
It's called 'The Invincible Gate'.
We here at DDS News, have the inside scoop.
The address of the residence with this so-called ‘The Invincible Gate’ is…
‘What is happening?! I can't believe these guys got my address
and are giving it on national television. Haven't they heard of privacy?!
I get really awkward around people. What if somebody shows up?
What am I going to do?’
...so, if anyone needs any kind of help and somehow get to that area, please do so.
I can't give any assurances but, it is supposed to be some kind of safe haven.
Personally, I just think it's some kind of hoax. But, it can't hurt to check out the address, you know.
Since many Bangaloreans have lost their homes. Specially, some are injured
and are in need of immediate assistance. Once again Bangalore,
our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless Bangalore, God bless you all.
‘Maybe I can turn this whole situation into a positive. I’ve really struggled
to make friends all my life. On top of the fact that, my filthy rich parents
had me home-schooled. My teacher was an 80-year-old man.
What if people my age start showing up? That will be interesting.
What if women show up? That will be even more interesting.
I've been single all my life. Maybe, now's the time I'll finally get a girlfriend.
And maybe even make some lifelong friends along the way.
It's a terrible thing, what happened. But, every dark cloud has a silver lining.
Now, I'm kinda looking forward to seeing if people will show up at my house.
This is cool!
Your house looks perfectly fine. The water is not crossing the feet
and there is no earthquake inside? You must be super rich to buy that gate!
I mean, I lost my house and my family were in.
I’m really sorry. There, there.
- What’s your name, Ms? - No need for the Ms. I’m not an aunty or something.
You can call me Disha. We’re of the same age. Also, I know you’re trying to console me
but, you don’t even know me. So, could you please take off your hand?
Oh, okay. Also, no need for the Mr. I’m not an uncle or something.
- You can call me Prem. - Are you mocking me?
- No, I’m just copying your dialogue. Chill. - Who says dialogue? This is not a movie or something.
- And you don’t tell me to chill. You don’t even know me. - I’m really sorry, Disha.
We seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot. You seem a little injured and out of sorts.
I have my mom’s clothes, I can give it to you. You can go freshen up.
Hopefully, everything will be okay soon. This whole situation, I mean.
Okay, fine.
Here, Disha. This is some of my mom’s old clothes. So um, you can go change. The room’s on your left there.
Thanks, means a lot.
‘Well, the opportunity to get a girlfriend is very much there.
One person has already shown up for help. She’s a chick. Sorry, girl. Or is it woman?
Or ladies? I just can't keep up with woke culture. Anyway, if I use my words
in a smart and caring manner, by the end of today, I should have a girlfriend.
That will be the perfect cure for my loneliness. And after I get a girlfriend,
maybe I won't be as socially awkward. First I need to make a pros and cons of being single.
This will definitively tell me, how I can get a girlfriend
and why I should get a girlfriend.
No girlfriend so no chance for her to get jealous when you talk to other girls.
Can flirt with how many ever women come home, because of Bengaluru's emergency situation.
Soul-crushing loneliness. 2)You're quite socially awkward around people.
Hello! This is the beautiful house with some gate that will protect you?
- So, are you just gonna stand there laughing? - Hello big brother, calm down.
All our houses have been washed away because of this flood. At least your house is still standing.
Actually, I’m very happy with the sci-fi element of your gate. What is it called?
Kambuja Cement gate?
Very funny, wise guy. Really funny, really funny.
- No, it’s called ‘The Invincible Gate’. - Wow! Quite a literal name
but uh, should I stand in the entrance forever or are you gonna invite me in?
- Okay, sorry, yeah. Come in. - Yeah.
- Hi, I’m Prem. What’s your name? - Oh, you’re Prem? Who are you supposed to be?
Some Bollywood character?
- Okay, that’s really funny. What’s your name? - I’m Pankaj. Nice to meet you, Prem.
Who are you supposed to be? That Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi or something?
Dude, you can’t crack a joke for nuts. At least, you have to leave the jokes to me.
- Wow, that was really bad. Not even one percent funny! - Okay, okay, wise guy. Go get freshened up.
There’s already a girl here. Her name is Disha. Why don’t you go entertain her?
Sounds like a plan. Wow. Okay, do you have any extra clothes, please?
- I’m completely wet. - Okay but, I don’t like you so I don’t want to
- give you any clothes. How about that? - My God! You’re so sensitive!
Big brother, please don’t do that. Just give me any of your clothes, no?
Okay, okay but, stop calling me big brother. We’re pretty much the same age.
Actually, I don’t like the name Prem. It’s so Bollywood, okay?
So, why don’t I give you some name? I’ll call you as Big Brother Love-uuuuu.
- How’s that? - Okay, you know what?
- Just call me whatever you want. It’s fine. - Thanks, Big Brother Louuuuu.
Great.
There will obviously be guys as well, who show up at your house.
You can't compete with funny and confident guys. Pros: 3) Pankaj is kind of annoying.
The ladies might find your social awkwardness adorable and might find Pankaj annoying, just like you.’
- Hi, I’m Prem. What’s your- - Oh hi, I’m Ananya.
- Okay so, what brings you here? - Okay, before we have this whole social interaction
- can I come in first? I’m freezing and I’m hurt all over. - Okay, okay-
and now you’re not moving.
- Wow! ‘The Invincible Gate’, huh? Come on! - Oh yeah, I didn’t really notice your torn clothes actually.
I mean, I saw you staring at me, you creep.
- Oh, wow! Hello, girls. I’m Pankaj. - Hi, I’m Disha.
- Okay. - Hi, I’m Ananya.
Oh, who do you think you are? Ananya Panday or something?
I’m actually proud, I share my name with her. She acts really well, so the joke’s on you, Pankaj.
Oh, okay but, I meant you kind of resemble her. It wasn’t a joke, sweetheart.
You’re incorrigible, man.
- What do you think my middle name is? - Dude, this is a serious situation, okay?
- This is not the time to be joking, okay? - Okay, Big Brother Louuuuu.
Big Brother Louuuuu? Now that’s funny, Pankaj but yeah, now’s not the time to be joking.
- Okay. Please forgive me, my respected madam. - Hello, excuse me? I’m not your respected madam or something.
- We’re of the same age. - Okay, darling.
- Okay, forget about all this. Is anyone hungry? - Uh, I could eat.
- Me, too. - Cool.
- Whoa! - Wow, this is that science fiction house?!
- Well, well, I lost my house in the freaking drain! - Okay, okay, I’m really sorry about that.
Why are you yelling at me? Also, it’s so dark outside. Why are you wearing sunglasses?
Earthquakes everywhere, so much of dust everywhere! What’s your problem?!
- Okay, uh, so, what’s your name? - Jimmy! You can call me Jimmy sir.
- By the way, what’s your name?! - I’m Prem.
Wow, wow, so many people at home! Full on party, huh?! Move!
You all seem to be a fun bunch of people. What are your names?!
‘Cons: The ladies are liking Pankaj and his cringe-worthy jokes.
Jimmy is super scary and looks like a total bad-ass. These girls might swoon for his brooding
good looks and extremely muscular body. Oh my, God! I can't think of any pros right now.
Can't believe the cons are overtaking the pros! It really does suck being single.
Unless you're a woman, of course. Single women get free entry into clubs, pubs or even bars.
Single men have to pay ridiculous amounts of money. I mean, it's so freaking unfair!’
Hi, my name is Shruthi and this is my daughter, Mayuri.
I lost my husband in the floods and the earthquakes and I’m just so glad
that what DDS news said, was true. Uh, the thing is, my daughter and I survived somehow
with our swimming skills but, my husband wasn’t so fortunate.
- I’m really sorry Ms- - Excuse me? How insensitive can you be?
Is it just because my husband passed away you’re saying Ms. Shruthi?
No, no, no, that’s not what I meant. That’s what, uncle. Have some common sense.
- Don’t say anything that comes to your head. - I’m really sorry, guys. Just have a seat
- wherever you want. - That’s what! This bloody rascal
- has no common sense! - Big Brother Louuuuu, I expected better from you.
Thanks for the insights, guys.
You know, this whole situation is a nightmare already. We really don’t want you to make it worse
by saying the wrong things at the wrong time. You may not mean it, but still. Come on, Prem!
Poor Big Brother Louuuuu. Just leave him alone, right?
Thanks, Pankaj. I don’t know if you mean it but, thanks.
Actually, you know what? Pankaj is right. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Prem.
No, it’s fine. You don’t have to call me Mr. Prem. Prem will do, Shruthi aunty.
Aunty?! Because I have a daughter you’re calling me aunty now?!
Are you serious?! What kind of regressive, messed up logic
is this, Prem?! We’re pretty much the same age, man!
I’m really sorry, Shruthi. I was just trying to be respectful.
There are fresh clothes upstairs. You and Mayuri seem a little bit hurt and injured
so, you can go and freshen up. I’m sorry for offending you in so many ways.
- I’m just a bit nervous. - Okay, uncle. Thank you.
- Oh, my God! Good one, Mayuri! - I didn’t mean it sarcastically, uncle.
- Whatever. Just go change, little girl. - Doesn’t feel so good to be on the other side, does it?
What the hell is so funny, you bloody idiots?! People are dying there!
- Sorry, Jimmy sir. - Sorry, Jimmy ‘Saar’.
- Are you mocking me?! - Oh, do you think I’m scared of you?
Don’t show me your attitude! Just shut up!
Sorry, Jimmy sir. Sorry, sir. Sorry.
I truly suck at making conversation. 8) I didn't realise that even moms and daughters
would show up. This makes things even more uncomfortable for my plan.
I don't think I can handle any more 'guests'. I'm already at my breaking point.
I just hope that my plan works with one girl, at least.’
Hi, uncle. Uncle, all the clothes inside are only for grown up ladies.
- Do you have anything that’ll fit me? - I’m sorry. I don’t.
Please don’t touch me, uncle. I don’t like it. Also, my cheeks are so small
- they’re not even pinch-able. - Okay, I’m sorry. I won’t do that from now on.
I saw that. I thought you wanted to be this hero who rescues all the Bangaloreans. I guess not, huh?
- Uh, please don’t tell this to anyone, Mayuri. - Okay, uncle. Your secret is safe with me.
Thanks and as for the clothes I’ll get back to you in a minute.
There must be some old stuff, lying around. I’ll get back to you, okay?
- Okay, uncle. - Thank you. I’ll see you in a minute.
- Mayuri, here you go. - Okay, uncle. Thank you.
Hey, what man?! You take so long to open the door?!
Due to these cursed rains and earthquakes my money, my property, my life, is totally ruined! Ruined!
Calm down, Yogesh. Come in.
Hey! You’re all here! Super! Come madam, come dance with me.
- No no, it’s okay. You dance. - What madam? What did you say?
- Oh madam, you don’t know English? - She spoke in English. You just didn’t understand.
Oh! Sorry, madam, sorry. My mistake. Madam, I don’t know English.
- I guess you don’t know Kannada. No worries. Come dance with me. - She said, “That’s okay, you dance.”
- Oh. What about you guys? You don’t know how to dance? - We know. Who said we don’t know to dance?
Then, come on! Come dance with me.
Come on, sir. Join me. Dance with me. Let’s drink together, come on!
You’ve drank too much already. Just sit down!
Hey, who do you think you are, advising me?! Stop with the attitude!
Guys, guys, guys, stop it I said! Both of you, calm down!
Oh, great! Another English-speaking girl! I don’t know English, Big Sister!
Please calm down! Bengaluru is going through enough already and I don’t want to be dealing
with this right now. I came here for some peace and refuge, guys.
Yogesha! I don’t know much Kannada but, I can talk in Kannada to save my life, okay?
- Pankaj, can you please translate this to him? - Hey! You can at least speak this much Kannada.
That makes me happy. Hey, no man! I understood what she said.
She said that I shouldn’t hit him, right? I’m not such a big idiot. What’s your name, my respected madam?
- I’m Ananya. - Okay, madam. I won’t hit this guy, because you told me not to.
Thanks for calming me down, Ananya. I really needed that!
Yeah. Thank you for calming them down, Ananya. I know you’ll make a great mom, someday.
I can't read girls expressions, for nuts. 12) My house is getting too crowded.
More guys and also, guys like Yogesh could show up.
More girls could show up. 4) Now, I know what not to say to girls. Hopefully.’
You know what? I don’t know what’s wrong? This whole disaster situation thing
or that whole virus thing, killed so many people a couple of years back. Our fate!
Everything is wrong, dude. We’ve been damaging the environment
for so many years now. We were bound to feel the repercussions
- sooner or later. - See, that’s why I used to plant saplings
everyday for the last year. Also, I’m a vegetarian.
I don’t think being a vegetarian helps. I mean, cows are harmed a lot for their milk.
That’s why I chose to go vegan.
What did you say? Madam, please don’t order vegetarian food.
I want chicken, chicken lollypop and brain fry, please. That’s all I eat, madam.
I want non-veg appetisers with drinks. That’s my ideal life.
I agree with Yogesh. I can’t survive without my meat. I want minimum chicken Biryani and chicken lollypop, everyday.
Yeah, I love my chicken, mutton, pork, lobster, crab and my all-time favourite beef!
You know what? It’s because of people like you
that the world has gone to the dogs. For your kind information, Mr. Jimmy
cow slaughtering is the biggest contributor of global warming. You guys remember
those Australian bushfires a couple of years back? Well, those Aussies eat all kinds of meat, man.
From kangaroo, to deer, to even crocodiles. I mean look, I love the Aussies
and the Kiwis from New Zealand. You have to agree they’re a large contributor
of the global climate change problem. Oh, how could I forget?
The genius ex-president of US decided to back off from the Paris Agreement.
Guys, if this continues we’re all doomed. We’re doomed, guys.
Yeah so, at least being a vegetarian is better than being a non-vegetarian.
Even in Bangalore, they just keep constructing buildings after buildings. Look at the Metro
constructions. They still aren’t ready and now they’ll be heavily damaged
due to whatever is happening, right?
I agree with Ananya and Disha. We should plant saplings
equivalent to the number of trees we cut. Also, veganism and vegetarianism
- will really help with the environment. - Are you vegan or vegetarian?
- No but, I don’t eat non-veg that often. - Okay then, shut up.
Uh, you don’t have to be so rude to me, Disha. I was agreeing with you and whether I eat
non-veg or not, uh, animals will still get slaughtered by butchers, everyday.
- Hmm, that’s a fair point. - Yeah.
Oh, Big Brother Louuuuu is full on angry.
Hey! Will you guys please shut up?
I can’t understand what you’re saying. Listening to you guys talk in English is like a earworm.
My God! I want to sleep. Please keep quiet, guys.
Yogesh, have some patience. My dad’s room’s upstairs. Go there and sleep. Others might come too, right?
- Go upstairs and sleep. - Actually, I’m feeling sleepy, too.
Can you take me upstairs and deal with this drunk loser later?
- Yeah, sure. - Hey! What did you say about me, my respected madam?!
- Who are you to talk about me?! Hey, don’t touch me! - Disha, you go upstairs. Yogesha, just shut up.
Guys, Yogesh, please calm down. Jimmy sir, calm down.
There’s already so much chaos, out there. The last thing we need is chaos, in here. Okay?
Don’t advise me, ever again! But, you do have a point.
Some words of wisdom from our gracious host. Kudos, Prem!
- Now, will you take me upstairs? - Sure, Disha.
Hey! There he goes, our naughty playboy!
- Can I have some food? I’m starving. - Yeah, sure. I’ll be back.
I’ll get you some food, okay?
So, there are three bedrooms, Disha. You’ll take one, right?
You know, it really sucks what’s happening in Bangalore.
I mean, we should have taken care of our Garden City.
Instead, we all just took it for granted.
Okay so, with all these earthquakes and floods happening outside, why don’t we create
our own earthquakes and floods, inside?
Wait, what do you mean? Are you freaking kidding me right now?
During this horrifying time in all our lives you’re trying to flirt with me?
I know you have no family but mind your tongue, Prem.
I suck at flirting with girls. 15) I might remain single
no matter how many girls show up at my house.
Disha thinks I'm an ultra creep bordering on a predator only.
Hopefully, at least now I've learned what not to say to girls.
Kat is really mean, she just showed up at my house now but, I think I have a shot with her.
I will still ask her out.’
- Oh hey, Prem. - Oh hi, Kat.
- Could you get us some snacks as you promised? - Sure, Kat.
- Dude, are you crying? - No, I’m not crying, man!
It must be some dust somewhere or something. I don’t know.
That’s bullshit. Look at all the windows. They’re shut, right?
I mean, you’d be a complete idiot, otherwise.
Maybe it’s dust, maybe it’s not. I don’t know, what’s it to you?
First you cry and then you lie about it! Shame on you, Prem!
You know what?! If I want to cry, I will! If I want to do other stuff, I will!
This is my house! If anyone’s bothered by it, they can just leave!
That includes you too, Jimmy sir!
I was wondering when you’d finally get some guts. All this while, I thought you were a wimp.
- Nice sentiment, Kat. - Full on sarcasm, huh?
Whatever.
Guys, I just have a couple of biscuits and some chips packets.
- What chips, Prem? - Some Day’s and Bongo chips.
- Day’s? That’s not chips, that’s just air. - You’re absolutely right, bro.
- Give me a proper high five. - What are you doing, man?!
- Now, that’s a high five. - Yep, that’s it. That’s it.
You know what?! You guys get some food! What do you guys want?
Do you want Thatte Idli? Do you want Masala Dosa?
- Yogesha, do you want your favourite mutton Biryani? - Big Brother Louuuuu, calm down, calm down.
Chill, dude. Just get us the biscuits and the chips. Anything is fine.
Hey! Don’t simply yell at me! What, man? What do you know about how much we’ve lost?!
Even I’ve lost a lot, Yogesh. What do you know? Just shut up and eat the chips and biscuits.
- Hey, get lost! - This is free entertainment!
- Dude Prem, you have popcorn? - Dude just shut up, Jimmy!
Shut up?! Shut up?! Where’s my ‘sir’? Come here, you shit stain!
- Oh crap, I’m sorry! - Look, the coward ran away!
Sorry? Take that sorry and shove it up your butt hole!
Where do you think you’re going you piece of shit?!
Saved by the bell!
Whoa, hello! Excuse me? What the hell?
Hey, bro. What’s up? You must be the owner of the house
with the fancy gate, huh? Lucky one, you are!
I can’t believe this though. Will this gate protect us from all dangers?
Dude, don’t diss the gate. This guy is nice and hospitable enough
to let us into his house.
Thank you so much, sir for letting us into the house.
I don’t think this gate is that strong.
Wow, wow, wow! Look at this gorgeous house. I’m sure everything is true.
Whoa, two girls! More danger than natural disaster.
Oh, great! All of you are here! Awesome! Go, go, go, change, get ready!
Yeah, I’ll come and tell you where to get the stuff, later.
Just go, go, go, go! Yay!
Hey! Who are you? Why are you making so much noise?
- Liquor Store Yogesha? - Hey, do you have anything to drink?
- Get lost, man! It’s always the same story with you! - Hey, get lost!
Excuse me, everyone? Hello? Could you all please speak a little softly?
My daughter Mayuri, is sleeping upstairs. Thank you.
Huh? What? What did you say, my respected madam? I just didn’t understand what you said!
You know I don’t know English, right? Then, if you talk in English?
Okay, sir. My daughter Mayuri is sleeping upstairs. Will you please speak softly?
- Hey! So? - So, just shut up, sir!
What are you saying shut up? To whom, huh?!
You just keep quiet and go upstairs. She’s not my daughter!
Mr. Love-uuu, what’s high five in Kannada?
Guys, have some understanding capacity, okay? Mayuri is just an 11-year-old girl.
And people say I’m not empathetic enough. Jeez!
Hey Jimmy, please give me liquor.
Oh, my God! Calm down, guys. Let the poor kid sleep.
Oh, our wonderful host! Why don’t you prove to us, how secure this gate is?!
Well, it’s called ‘The Invincible Gate’, right? So, I think it’s pretty self-explanatory.
Actually, I would love it if you could show us, Prem.
- Actually, I’d love to see that, too. - Me too, Big Brother Prem.
- Wait. When did you start calling me Big Brother Prem? - Of course you’re my big brother.
Just, you know, just in case you unsuccessfully flirt with me, again.
Again, I’m really sorry, Disha.
I’m super surprised. Big Brother Louuuuu is the ultimate playboy
who failed out!
Okay yeah, Pankaj. I’m a real chick magnet.
- No, you’re an aunty magnet! - Guys, will you stop referring to women as chicks?
- It’s insulting and derogatory. Seriously, guys! - I don’t mind, either way.
I mean, we sometimes refer to men as dogs, right?
Enough talk, bro. Go try to damage that gate.
- Let’s see how invincible, ‘The Invincible Gate’ actually is. - Okay, guys. I’ll do that, but first
I don’t know any of you so, don’t you think introductions are in order?
Okay, sure. I’m Harish, that’s Heena this is Anu, that’s Devika, that’s Ajith
and that’s Payal, that’s Manish and the one in the restroom, is Shravya.
We all came here in our invincible SUV. That’s all of us. So, what’s your name?
My name is Prem. It’s nice to meet you.
- Prem! Prem! Prem! Prem! Prem! Prem! - Well, here goes nothing.
I totally embarrassed myself in front of everyone.
I just can't stand up for myself. 20) I give in to every whim and fancy of my 'guests'.
Stop wasting time and start asking the rest of the girls to go on dates with you.
More girls have shown up. 8) More girls means more chance of success.
At least one of them will say yes.’
Hey, Ananya. Can I help you?
Oh hi, Prem. Actually, Pankaj was whining about the food that you laid out for us.
I thought I might check in the kitchen if there’s some more food.
Oh but, you know this whole disaster situation. We didn’t know it was gonna happen, right?
I didn’t really stock up my kitchen, with extra food. But you know what, why don’t you go like eat
- the food, before these guys finish it. - Oh, that’s thoughtful.
- Oh, my God! - That was scary.
You know, with all the tremors that’s going on outside
- why don’t we have some fun of our own, indoors? - What? Is that something sexual?
- What do you even mean? - No, no, no! That’s not what I meant.
You know, like in ‘Home Alone’ that boy runs around and like jumps on the bed
and like, has a great time in his house? That’s what I meant.
- I didn’t mean anything by it, Ananya. - Yeah, yeah right.
Prem, listen. I don’t have any feelings for you, okay? Let me be very honest with you.
I actually like Pankaj. I know he can be a bit annoying, at times
but he’s really likeable. I’m really sorry, Prem. I do not like you in any of that way.
- I hope I’ve made myself clear, dude. - Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool!
Actually, you know what? There’s nothing to eat in the kitchen
so, I’m just gonna go. And watch your timing, man!
Yeah, whatever. Okay.
- Oh, there’s a queen bed. That’s perfect. - So, Kat, how have you been coping all these days?
I’ve been getting by. Doesn’t really bother me.
- Cool. - So, let me just go and freshen up.
I’ll be right back.
Come on, Prem. You can do this. She’s gonna be the one.
So, Kat, I know you don’t like me but, I think we can go on a date sometime.
I mean, what do you say? What do you say?
I think it should be great! That-Oh!
So, I have something to tell you. I really like you and you think
after this whole natural disaster thing gets over, you think we have a chance?
- We can go out on a date? - Really?! Oh, my God!
Finally someone said yes! Yes, yes, yes! Woohoo! So happy!
Okay, okay. Ha ha ha. Okay, okay, okay. I was just kidding, dude. I was just kidding.
Just so you know, my answer is no. I’m just saving you the heartbreak.
- I’m sorry. - That’s so mean, Kat! How could you do that?
Come on, Prem. You’ve been asking around, all the girls.
- I know that. - Okay, fine. No hard feelings, Kat.
- Bullshit! You already asked Disha! - Yeah okay, but still. No hard feelings.
No, I’m not making my way through all the girls. That’s a lie. Anyway, I think you should take rest.
No hard feelings. Let’s just leave it at that. Okay? See you, bye!
Adios!
I don't think my heart can take any more rejections.
Just a few girls left to ask. 24) I need to be super careful
There are still a few girls left.
It's very likely that at least one of them will say yes.
Or, all of them could say yes and you could be spoilt for choice!’
Oh! Everyone seems to be having a great time. That’s wonderful! You know, this is my house.
So, I can throw you out for having too good of a time without me.
Chill, guys. I’m just kidding. I’m not like Jimmy.
- I’m not scary and blasphemous. - You know, I still owe that butt kicking
from last time! You know what? If you kick my butt
I’ll kick your butt. How about that, Jimmy ‘Saar’?
Don’t mock me!
Oh, God! Will everyone please shut up?! I have a headache. For my headache to go
I need some liquor. Who’ll get it for me? You’ll get it? Who’ll get it?
You won’t get any liquor, Yogesha. You’re a severe alcoholic.
Damn! This is my problem. Okay. I need to sleep, at least.
- Prem, take me to a room. - Okay, come on Yogesh.
- I’ll take you. Anyone else wants to sleep? - Actually, I also need to sleep.
- Does any chick wanna sleep with me? - Gross!
You wish.
Well, at least one chick liked my joke.
- This guy has too much attitude, right? - Oh yeah. He has loads of attitude.
- More than the average person. - When I met him,
- I thought his name was ‘Attitude’. - He’s like one roadside Romeo.
- Like one loafer. Understood? - Seriously.
You know what? Forget the Romeo part. He’s actually the other word you said.
Loafer?
Oh, great joke, guys but remember when Big Brother Louuuuu fell
outside, on his buttocks. I mean, he’s like a puppet.
- He does everything, what we tell him to do. - Now, don’t turn this around on him, bro.
- Now we’re talking about you. - That’s what. He thinks we can’t make out
- when he turns his jokes on someone else. - We’re not idiots, Pankaj.
We’re super geniuses, like Iron Man.
Laugh, guys. If it was a dirty joke you would have been laughing out loud
but, you won’t even smile for a regular joke.
Okay, okay. Enough talk! Yogesh, Pankaj, come let’s go.
- I’ll take you to the room. - Oh, my God! Why so much anger, Prem?
Yeah, you seem very antsy, Prem. Chill.
Well, I understand why he’s so antsy. The situation that we’re all in
is not quite the best. Added to that he’s getting rejected by all the girls
and then again, he got belted by the gate, as well. I’m sorry
- if we’re roasting you too much, Prem. - Actually, you know what?
I was the second girl who rejected him.
Okay, thanks for that, Ananya! Should I tell everyone your secret now?
Okay, okay. I’m sorry. I won’t say anything.
You know what? Fine. I won’t say anything
but, I’m this close to losing it. Just one more thing and I’m just gonna lose it.
I’m so disappointed and I’m so embarrassed and I’m so hurt.
So, just tread with caution. Okay?
- Prem? Are you okay? Prem? - Sorry, Payal. Did you say something?
I was just checking up on you. I thought maybe, I can sing a song to lighten up the mood?
Yeah.
Hey, how come you never told us about your song?
Yes, please sing a song. My little girl is getting really bored.
- She’s just too sweet to say anything. - Mom, you’re embarrassing me.
Sure I’ll sing a song for you, sweetheart.
‘See the light Leading the way to the start
Close your eyes Think of the days of the past
The wind that calmed me down The grass that cuddled me from the back
A bright day and nights moonlight And a million starts in sky...
This is our home The only place we unite
Seems not anymore Cause we are busy running
For we don't even know Ohh
If not now Then we are out
When will we All realise..?
This is our home...
Feel the love She's given all of her to us
From the time... Immemorial
Now is the time To show our gratitude to her
Let's make a promise to care And be responsible...
This is our home.. The only place we unite
Seems not anymore... Cause we are busy running
For we don't even know Ohh..
If not now Then we are out
When will we All realise??
This is our home...
In an endless space A world that gives life to us
Filled with colourful shades A paradise that's magical
I mean, Look at this ocean
The sunset The rainbow with seven colours
Stop the commotion and join your hands For protection
of our Earth... Of our home...
Of our world... The only reason we exist...
This is our home... The only place we unite
Seems not anymore... Cause we are busy running
For we don't even know Ohh
If not now Then we are out
When will we All realise..?
THIS IS OUR HOME...’
Thank you so much, guys. Means a lot.
- You sing flawlessly, Payal. - Oh, thank you so much.
Wow, wow, wow! What singing! You deserve for Oscar
but, current situation’s too bad. So, no ‘Os’. Only car for you.
- Hey! Where did you get this? - You’re still playing with this?
- Maybe, sometimes. - Do you have a girlfriend?
- No. - Yeah, I know why.
Dude, you’re so irritating, Ajith!
You should be winning a Grammy for your singing.
- Seriously, girl! I got goosebumps. - Hey Payal! Full on next Vidya Vox, huh!
Seriously though, Payal. You should have taken part in some singing competition.
Yeah. I’m sure you’ll win.
Guys, guys, I think you’re getting ahead of yourselves. There’s a lot going on right now.
I hope we all can join our hands together and bring everything back to normal
- and know the value of our Earth, as well. - Yeah, it’s like the Earth is fighting back.
Don’t you think? Just like that virus that devastated us
a couple of years back. I really hope this is not permanent, guys.
I just can’t believe I lost my family.
I totally understand. I lost the love of my life. He was my everything.
My dad was the best. Don’t know how we’re ever gonna live without him.
I’m really sorry for your losses, guys. Payal, can I talk to you in the kitchen for a second?
- Yeah, sure. - Can anyone guess what he’s about to ask her?
It’s not rocket science.
Come on, guys. Give him a break. Seriously.
I don't think my heart can take any more rejections.
Just a few girls left to ask. 24) I need to be super careful with the words I use.
There are still a few girls left.
It's very likely that at least one of them will say yes.
Or, all of them could say yes and you could be spoilt for choice!’
I am almost crying every time a girl says no to me.
I SUCK! 27) I SUCK! 28) I SUCK! 29) I SUCK! 30) I SUCK!
I can't think of more cons and the way I'm feeling now, that's fantastic!’
So guys, looks like we’re gonna be stuck here for a while. What are your hobbies and life goals?
- You know, this is not a freaking job interview, Prem! - Dude, you don’t have to scream everything!
- Are you deaf or something? - No, no, he’s not deaf.
- He just has an insanely short temper. - Well, what would you know, Ananya
about what I’ve gone through?! Anger problem is right.
- This Jimmy is one psycho. - After all this settles down
you should go see a psychologist. Or actually for you, a psychiatrist.
You’ve got a problem, bro.
So Payal, what did you and Prem talk about in the kitchen?
Why do you wanna know, Specsy? It’s none of your business.
Hey, none of my business means full on only, huh?
You know what? Like Jimmy said this is not a freaking job interview.
I don’t have to answer everything you guys ask me.
Come on, bro. Don’t be like that. Tell us, too.
- Knowing Prem, hey! - I swear!
You know what? I don’t have to sit here and take this like a freaking doormat!
Okay. Can I get into the kitchen? I know you said there’s no food
- but, can I check for myself? - Sure, Heena.
- Hey, Heena. Can I ask you something? - Sure, sure, Prem. Go ahead.
So, after this whole disaster situation comes to an end, maybe we can go
for a movie sometime? Maybe dinner?
Bro, you really don’t quit, do you? Actually, I was thinking you wouldn’t ask
every woman here to go on a date with you. Guess I was mistaken.
You really suck at this, don’t you? I mean, even after so many rejections
you haven’t gotten better at this, Prem!
Yeah, maybe I do suck at this but, you don’t have to be so freaking rude about it!
I’m an awkward home-schooled boy! I don’t know shit about the real world
but, one thing I do know is that everyone in the house right now, are really rude!
- Jeez, just calm down. - Screw you, Heena!
Wow! The best sleep! My dreams were full of beautiful girls.
You see that. Just like her. Just like you, sweetheart.
Eww, dream on. Get a life. Honestly.
- Will you give me your number, darling? - Look at your face.
- Awesome, buddy! You the man! - You see? This bro knows what’s up.
Thank you, Prem my buddy!
Comfortable sleep, dude. Just had to deal with this drunken dude’s smell.
Hey, what did you say about me in English? What do you think of yourself?
- I’ll thrash you! - Nothing, Big Brother Yogesh.
Really, it’s nothing. Sorry, big brother. Please forgive me.
- Last warning. Just shut up. - I love you.
Oh, my God! Will you guys just shut the hell up?! You just wanna go, on and on and on and on! Jeez!
It’s just been a day since all of us came by. You seem to be losing it. Do you want us to leave?
I think we can manage in the outside world. It seems to be getting difficult for you, in here.
Yeah, Anu. I’m sorry. It’s just, I have a lot on my mind right now.
- It’s okay. Give me a tour of your house, Prem. - Sure, Anu.
Actually Prem, I really didn’t want to take a tour of your house. Tell me
- what’s bothering you? - The thing is, Anu
I just get really socially awkward, at times. I can’t deal with large gatherings.
- You know, maybe that’s why I’m losing my cool. - That’s okay, Prem. I totally understand.
- We all can be socially awkward, at times. - Thank you so much for understanding, Anu.
Thing is, all these guests at my house they’ve just been giving me a really hard time
- these past couple of hours. - No problem.
So, maybe you can help me be a little less socially awkward.
How about like, after this whole disaster situation ends, do you maybe like
- wanna go out on a date sometime? - I really didn’t want to believe
what those guys are telling. Are you seriously making your way
- through all the girls in your house right now? - No, no, not at all!
Listen, Prem. You’re really a nice guy but, I don’t want to even think about
dating right now. I’m still very shocked by this whole disaster situation
we are in right now. Twice, in just a couple of years.
I’m sorry, Prem. It’s gonna be a no from me, as well.
You really need to read the situation and stop trying so hard.
You know, that’s absolutely freaking great, Anu! I don’t know why I thought
- your answer would be any different. - Okay, Prem. I’m gonna go
before this gets anymore awkward. No hard feelings, right?
Not at all.
Whoa!
Before you say anything to me let me just tell you. My family
has finalised my marriage. I’m 99.99% sure that Basheer is still alive.
God forbid, even if he’s not I will not date you!
I’ll not do that to Basheer.
Okay, Heena. I already asked you out once. Why in the hell would I ask you out again?
Come on! I’m not that desperate also! Come on, Heena. Give me a break.
- Why are you laughing? I’m serious, Heena. - Okay, bro. Whatever. I’m just going out
- and chilling out with my friends. - Um, whatever. Sure, Heena. See you.
Actually, you know what? Kat was right, guys. My plan
was to ask out every single girl in this house.
Obviously, it’s been a total disaster, so far but, I think I am boyfriend material.
Uh, so, Sharvya? Devika? Would either of you go on a date with me?
- I promise to be the best boyfriend, ever! - Quite a pitch, buddy
But, I don’t think I’m ready to make a commitment to anybody. Not at this time.
I’m really concerned for my family at the moment and I really can’t think
of anybody else. I’m sorry, Prem.
I totally agree with Shravya. This is not the right time.
But also, under normal circumstances, Prem I would not go on a date with you.
You’re like seriously calling both of us on a date together? Like any girl
would need special attention, Prem. I’m sorry. I’m not up for it.
No hard feelings, at all!
You know, why should Big Brother Louuuuu be the only one, who asks people on a date?
I wanna ask someone on a date, right now. Of course, I’ll go on a date
only after this whole situation gets back to normal.
Ananya, will you go on a date with me?
Yes, Pankaj. Definitely! I was wondering when you were gonna ask me out.
You know, after all that constant flirting.
Ooh, so steamy!
- Hey, my man! Good stuff! - I’m super happy, Ananya.
You’ve got to be freaking kidding me! I ask ten girls out and no one says yes to me!
You just ask one girl out and she says yes?! How is this fair?! This is my house!
If anyone’s gonna get a girlfriend here it should be me!
Am I that chauvinistic and pig-headed and that repulsive?!
I don’t understand! Like, this is so unfair! I don’t understand this blatant injustice!
- This is not fair! - Dude, will you calm down?!
Shut the hell up, Jimmy!
We’re sorry, Prem. I just think you really don’t know how to ask
- women out, properly. - Wow! That’s really specific, Ananya!
- Thanks so much for that! - We’re sorry, Prem
but, I think your timing’s just way off.
Yeah, it’s always something or the other, right?! God, I’m fed up with this place!
I’ve had it! I’m leaving! You guys are a bunch of absolutely irritating people!
I’m just leaving this house, so you guys take care of this house, protect this gate
do whatever you want! I’m leaving! Alright? See you.
Hey, what are you guys saying? I can’t understand anything!
You stupid idiots know, right? That I don’t know English?
What the hell, guys?!
I won’t tell you anything! Just sit down and shut up!
Hey, get lost!
Dude, calm down. You do not have to leave.
- Yeah, I do. - Even if you go out,
you won’t find any girlfriend out there. So, you better stay in.
Oh, my God! Just shut up, Harish!
Well, on behalf of all of us good luck out there, Prem.
Um, yeah. We’re so sorry for being inconsiderate.
Thanks, guys.
- Bro, seriously you’re leaving? - Yeah.
- Can I know house property documents? - Oh, my God! Just shut up, Ajith!
- You’re so annoying. - Okay. You don’t get any hot chicks outside
- at least bring some hot chips. - Oh, my God, Ajith! You’re so irritating!
- Just go and spend time with your friends! Leave me alone! - Bro, at least pickles?
‘Man, this is going to be harder than I thought. I don’t need them.
Maybe I’ll meet the woman of my dreams out there. Fingers crossed.
And if I don’t meet the woman of my dreams out there, what these idiots don’t know
is that ‘The Invincible Gate’ has an off button and I have the remote.’
