So, I didn't have that much money,

so I just decided to drive
the cars back here,

park them in front of the apartment

and just tell Ricky I didn't know
how any of it happened.

Well, how did the Cadillac
get hooked onto the back of the...

You know that underpass
by Grand Central Station?

Well, I was driving on
the downhill side of it

and a car started to pass me,

and it was a new Pontiac
just like our car.

And the driver was coming awful close,

so I turned to give him a dirty look,

and no one was driving.

No one was driving?

So I looked back at our car
and it was gone.

It came unhooked. And then what?

Well, it passed me
at the bottom of the hill,

and I didn't know what to do,
so I stopped.

And the Pontiac kept on going up the hill,

and it didn't quite make it to the top.

It didn't?

Not much, it didn't.

It started rolling backwards
and crashed right into me.

You're right. I don't believe it.

I wouldn't have believed it either
if it hadn't happened to me.

went on up the hill

and-and it didn't quite get up to the top,

and then it came back downhill
and crashed right into me

and I drove the cars home.

That's all there is to it.
