And here's how tonight's quarter finals works.

Our top four singers will perform,

then the audience and panel will vote.

The top two immediately advance the next week's semifinals.

The bottom two will battle it out in one brutal smackdown.

Oh, yeah.

So let's kick off the competition with the Wasp.

Wasp: Making it this far in the competition, man, I really feel the love.

You need to get out of here with that voice, man. That was amazing.

A feeling that honestly sent me on the ride of a lifetime.

Growing up without a consistent definition of what true love looked like,

I was left to rely on the stories and the songs surrounding me.

You know, the rom-coms, the happily ever afters,

and I lived life in the fast lane

thinking that that'd be my destination.

- "Fastlane." Like a TV show? - Maybe.

But love is different in real life.

I'm not gonna lie.

I fell more than a few times,

taking a couple of wrong turns, facing a lot of dead ends,

and even making a few U-turns,

and those should have been illegal. Heh.

I used to think that even if I was stung by the love bug,

I didn't even know if I'd see the signs.

But in this moment, I got somebody riding alongside me,

so we'll see what the future holds.

Right now I'm focused on another road ahead of me,

hopefully the one that leads me to the finale.

And I'm taking a quick pit stop to win over a few hearts tonight

because it will mean everything

to still be standing in the semifinals.

He was saved by the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell,

Goo: I was so moved by the chance to stick around in the competition.

For me, that was one of the best performances I've ever seen in the history of this show.

It's been really meaningful to hear the panel's comments,

because, well, spoiler alert,

I don't do this for a living.

- What? - What? There's no way.

I've always been a Goo with two dreams--

singing and what you might know me for in real life.

And everyone said I couldn't do both,

but I never wavered.

Being here has been the time of my life,

a test drive of my other passion,

and who knows what'll come next?

But standing here one step from the semifinals,

especially with my fiancée by my side...

- He's huge. - He looks like he could be a boxer.

...has shown me and hopefully everyone that you can "goo" both.

And you know what? His phone call that he got from his fiancée

at a Lakers game, and I said to Donnie,

I was like, "Damn, who is that?"

He's like, "Ah, he's a football player.

So my only guess right now

would be that it's Kobie Turner.

- Rita and Ken: Oh. - Rita: Okay, I'm so thrown off

because I feel like everyone's going down the sort of football route.

- Yeah. - But what else do you tackle in right, right?

'cause he was the heavyweight champion of the world.

And I'm just gonna throw it out there

'cause he's one of my favorite wrestlers,

now he's an actor, and he was in "Train Wreck."

Strawberry Shortcake swept her way into the round

with a killer country ballad last week,

and it's killing Rita and Jenny that they can't figure out who she is.

- Both: I know. - Let's change that. Watch this.

But honestly, the fact that I've taken this time

for myself is what's most sweet.

For my entire life,

I've been part of a packaged bunch, which I love.

- A packaged bunch. - Either a group or a TV show.

I've never really taken the chance to stand on my own until now.

This was one of the best performances of the season easily.

"The Masked Singer" came at the perfect time.

My friends and family were on other exciting new adventures anyway.

So I thought, "Why not?"

- They all did their own thing. - Jenny: Yes.

And with each round I've been discovering all of my inner ingredients,

the sassy, the sweet, and the silly,

and it's really showing me what I'm capable of.

I know my loved ones are so proud of me

for boldly braving this stage alone.

That's what's pushing me to want to make it

to the semifinals for them and me.

So tonight I'm showing a whole new side of myself

with hopes of getting one step closer

to the Golden Mask trophy.

Ken and Robin: Wow.

She's branching out from her friends or family.

Definitely girl band. I mean, they all must have gone and done this thing.

Welcome back to our big quarter finals night

This may be the tightest race ever for the Golden Mask trophy.

Any one of our four singers can go all the way,

and some are already placing bets on the Buffalos.

It's been a while since we've seen them, but we're happy they're back.

We have been on a journey like no other three friends have ever been on,

but that journey has taken a new turn

when we arrived on "The Masked Singer."

When we first put on our buffalo masks, it didn't hide us,

but it opened us up to who we really are.

More than friends, more than brothers.

A bond beyond words.

But something years ago happened to one of us

that ruined the delicate blend we created.

Everything we did together was called off.

We thought it was the end.
